Always delicious, my favorite is the schnitzel. We like to go there every now and then. Upscale chip shop. Highly recommended 👍

We had a *takeaway*, ordering at the counter impossible...as the cashier taking the order was the only one, and approx. 15 people queing up for paying. This place is a bit understaffed but the staff is super friendly. Good things: This place is a must try for Schnitzellovers...they have their special house sauce...so we took the Jägerschnitzel. Prices are totally ok. Maybe the take away salad for a 5 bucks is a bit to small...but its a restaurant, so my recommondation is...book a table...eat there...and it will be good.. very different from the Vienna Schnitzel..but defenatly special and good. The food is good. Order everything separately. The fried potatoes are deep-fried, so fries or fried potatoes are the same. Service is fast and friendly. Make sure you have cash on hand, as neither debit nor credit cards were accepted by the card machine.

I ordered goulash soup and was given vegetable soup, and the waiter insisted that I had ordered vegetable soup.

We pre-ordered food for over 20 people this weekend. I was very excited to see if everything would be ready on time and if nothing was missing from the order. And what can I say? When I walked in, the last fries were just being packed. So, everything was fresh and warm, and most importantly, NOTHING was missing! The entire order was correct. I can only give them high praise. Superbly organized and incredibly delicious!

The food was delicious, and the owner was super friendly and helpful. We were just in a hurry and had to leave quickly, and we got the impression the owner thought we weren't enjoying it, but that wasn't true, so hopefully he'll still read this!

One of the employees (a bit overweight with glasses) acts like King Louie and is very rude in his manner, which I've noticed several times. It's also a shame that the portions are getting smaller and smaller and vary greatly in weight: a small PMS 330g, a large PMS 360g, which has also happened quite often. If you speak to the employee in question, he just smiles! In conclusion, good staff is hard to find, and other snack bars in the area are no worse than the Heidestübchen, which used to be great!

Table reserved but no place on arrival. I indicated in advance a place in the back of the shop, was no problem. But we could sit outside, otherwise there was nothing available. I told her that was not the agreement. We waited for a while, but no attention was paid to us. Then we just left.

The Heidestübchen Goch isn't a fast-food joint, but a truly excellent restaurant with fantastic schnitzels, steaks, and much more. Everything is delicious and prepared with love. The waiters are friendly and attentive, even in the busiest of locations—truly fantastic! You can not only pre-order and pick up your dishes, but also enjoy them on-site. Reservations are recommended, however, as the place is often busy—and rightly so! A true insider tip in Goch, which is no longer one. Everything here simply tastes good.

According to Google, opening hours on Sundays are from 4 p.m., but unfortunately at 4:50 p.m. there was no one there and the restaurant was closed.

Nice village restaurant with mainly schnitzels and the like on the menu. Also a terrace. Popular with locals to pick up food, so that's a good sign.

We were there on a Saturday evening and it was pretty busy. We placed our order using our smartphone. We were very surprised when we received our order and food within a very short time. Despite the stress, the employees were very friendly and served us quickly. The food was, as always, very good. We had schnitzel, nuggets and frikandels. We ordered small schnitzels. But they are always super big 👍 I think it's one of the few restaurants where the price is still right. We can recommend the restaurant 100% and will definitely come back.

It seems as if the "money storage" is full and complaints about food and/or drinks no longer need to be addressed. Unfortunately this is the second time this has happened and it's a resounding slap in the face for the guest. Complaints are simply deliberately ignored with a shrug of the shoulders and a small smile, no replacement or return, let alone the offer of not having to pay for the goods complained about. The Heidestübchen in Goch seems to have become quite "hardened" over time, at least in this respect, or they probably no longer need it (full of money storage). Very, very unfortunate!

In my opinion, Snitzels have deteriorated. Have been coming for years. Now I have eaten stiffer/less meat/snitzels 3 times. While this was our favorite snitzel restaurant. Shame.

I've known it since I was a child and still enjoy going there, now with my own children. Food was always good, service was quick and friendly, there was free parking and you could eat inside or outside. We'll be happy to drive the 160 km to you, for me personally also out of "nostalgia" ☺️

The Heidestübchen is an absolute must! Large portions, you are served quickly, clean, familiar and simply delicious. :-) The ambience is not the most modern, but it has its own charm and makes it something special. Simply delicious. You should just make sure that you always reserve a table and pre-order food to take away, otherwise there may be longer waiting times - especially at peak times.

We went on a schnitzel tour through Germany and came to the conclusion that the schnitzels from Heidestübchen are undisputedly the best schnitzels! The service and the option to pre-order online are an additional highlight. I'm glad to live nearby!

Was just there, ordered Jägerschnitzel and Schachlik, a culinary delight, very friendly service. I would like to give 6 stars if I could, I would love to come back (from Sonsbeck), it's worth the trip.

To be honest, I don't really understand the hype. The food was okay - no worse and no better. Service normal and the so-called 'ambience': My God: We're talking about an enlarged snack bar here. It was okay for that - no worse and no better. I can now say I was there. I won't keep it in mind as a highlight.

At peak times it can take a little longer, but that is by no means a criticism - quite the opposite. We are happy for you that you are so busy and will come back often or pick up something. :)

Here the bear dances! The food is great, the portions are more than enough and the selection is large. However, the quality does not suffer due to the influx of guests. If you would like to pick up your food, it is best to pre-order online. Otherwise, due to the high frequency of guests ordering directly from the Frittenschmiede, it could take a long time. The Heidestübchen was recommended to us by friends. Unfortunately our expectations were not met. The atmosphere is pleasant, the staff was quick and friendly, but unfortunately we didn't like the food. The fries weren't cooked, The schnitzel itself was very tasteless and I have also eaten the gypsy sauce better. It wasn't really bad but I can't understand the hype surrounding this chip shop... Tastes are different.

Food was OK, service was poor. We waited half an hour for the drinks while the waiter processed each table (2 people) individually. When we complained, the staff became unfriendly. The plates were carelessly arranged, the edges were dirty, the cutlery was dirty. All in all, not worth the relatively cheap price. You are not asked for another drink, you are simply ignored and left to sit in front of your empty glasses. Here you only earn a little money and work through customers; it no longer has anything to do with hospitality. That was my last visit here

In a nutshell: very good price-performance ratio. And it tasted very good too. The forest schnitzel with chanterelles would have benefited from a little less cream, but it was still good. Now we're talking about a good chip ranch with good food and not fine dining. Everything in the restaurant is geared towards the masses, otherwise the prices probably wouldn't be affordable. So if you want to eat quickly, well and cheaply, you are well advised there.

There is probably nowhere else in the surrounding area that there are tastier schnitzels than in the Heidestübchen. It is strongly recommended to make reservations, as the restaurant is often so full that all tables are occupied and guests without reservations wait in the aisle for a table to become available. On the one hand it's stupid, on the other hand it just shows how delicious you can eat there. As a result, you can forgive it if it takes a few minutes longer to place the order.

Me, we didn't like the schnitzels. The crust was not crispy, but rather soggy. Fries and side dishes were tasty. But hey, just try to prepare 5 large schnitzels at the same time at home. And the price was a joke. You can't make it at home. Despite the three stars, I want to try it again next time because the restaurant normally does well based on the previous reviews.

Incredibly large portions and really low prices. The food was hot, fresh and delicious. Of course we didn't eat everything and the leftovers were happily given to us and well packaged. The restaurant was really packed, so it was loud. So if you're expecting a quiet, dignified atmosphere, this isn't the right place for you. But if you want good food at extremely reasonable prices, you'll get your money's worth here. It's really a shame that we live so far away. But we'll definitely be happy to come back when we're in Goch again.

Recommended! You can enjoy a delicious meal here with a fairly small budget. Friendly staff and fast service. Extensive menu and a large plate full. No unwanted vegetables, but you can order a delicious salad as a side dish. You may have to wait a while for a table, but it's worth it. Parking around the corner.

Was in Goch for the first time. An absolutely great “snack bar” of a very high standard, there is nothing to complain about. I would like to say one of the best fast food restaurant I have ever visited. Price performance is absolutely right.

I find the food disappointing. Pale and bland snacks. Substandard portion of fries. Maybe if you sit there it will be better.

As always, good quality at a fair price. However, the service could sometimes be better - even during normal times it sometimes takes a while for orders to be processed.

Edit after this weekend: We reserved a table specifically so that we could sit comfortably and have some peace and quiet. We were guaranteed this table, that's what constitutes a reservation. We arrived on time, it was full as always, said our names, then we were told that a large number of people had just arrived and absolutely wanted this table and got it. I then asked the waitress what was the point of a reservation? The girl clearly has the wrong job if she can't assert herself against others. She then offered us the narrow window seat again......or we would have to wait a bit. Money makes the world go round. All that matters in this store is money, more people, more money. There were so many people excited that they were supposed to be sitting on the benches with six people. That's really bad. It is questionable whether that was in the spirit of the founders at the time. Very, very tasty, but you are seated at a table with 5 people by the window, which is simply too narrow. We once observed others who were also sitting in this constellation, they didn't look so happy, it was very, very narrow. Maybe plan differently. We will come back. We've reserved again, let's see, if we get squeezed like that again, we'll complain.
