I was pretty disappointed after the good reviews. My veal schnitzel wasn't anything special, the spaetzle was soggy and the Kaiserschmarrn was more like a pancake.

Best of all, NO star – mold on the bread and two months of silence from the boss What happened here defies description: At “Strammen Max” I was actually served moldy bread. And no – not a small edge or a slip, but clearly visible, green and absolutely inedible. A clear violation of any form of hygiene and sense of responsibility. That alone would be bad enough. But what makes it really unbelievable: Even after more than two months, there was no feedback from the owner or management - despite a direct complaint. No call, no apology, no explanation. This is no longer an oversight, this is simply indifference towards guests and their health. When a restaurant deals with food and criticism in this way, the question arises: What else is going wrong there - just not visible? Not only was I disappointed, I was honestly stunned. My conclusion: stay away. Anyone who eats here has to hope that they find nothing - neither in the food nor in the service.

On February 3rd, 2025 we wanted to celebrate my wife's birthday there. My daughter ordered "Strammer Max". The bread was moldy!!! Everyone has lost their appetite!!! Normally you would have had to call the police. You can imagine what it looks like in the kitchen!!! When I asked for someone from management to get in touch, there was no response. The report has been sent to the health authority. Shame on you.

First time in the Heidelbere. I had promised more from this restaurant. Service was nice. We should have eaten something else. Except spaetzle with pork, which was good. Too bad. Maybe today was a bad day.

Traditional looking restaurant. I've been here a few times. It's perfectly alright but nothing special. It's been a hit and miss for me both for the food and service. The first time I had goose was here at Christmas. It was not good. I've had eggs. Difficult to screw that up. I also had a very good cabbage roll.

If you want to eat German home cooking in a simple German restaurant that has been around for ages, this is the right place for you. There was nothing, absolutely nothing, to complain about the food (I had cabbage roulade, my wife had sliced ​​meat). Where should you deduct a point? Didn't work. I had a beer (Staropramen dark), my wife had a wine. The service was quick, friendly, cheerful and personable. It's not a 5-star high-class restaurant, but for me it was perfect. Simple German food in a simple atmosphere. Class!

Great German cuisine, good service

The only thing that bothers me is this fasho sign on the house.. I think Ukro-fashos wore it in World War II..

Unfortunately, schnitzel was only available as pork and, despite other free tables that were also placed during our stay, which was longer than necessary, we were placed in the middle of the room, where everyone who had to go to the toilet and the others' finished food were constantly passed had to. Only our food took a long time. The schnitzel itself was okay, everything else around it will prevent another visit to this place. Too bad. Other guests did not appear at the tables that were reserved but were denied to us, despite waiting almost 45 minutes and after another half an hour.

Cabbage in cabbage rolls is very hard. But there was a steak knife for that.

Yesterday for “Christmas dinner” in this restaurant. We ordered goose breast with dumplings and red cabbage and kale. I can only advise against it! The goose breast was hard and fibrous and the skin was a soft skin! But a steak knife was specially provided with this dish so that you had the opportunity to cut up the "goose breast". To save my honor, however, I would like to mention that the dumplings and the red cabbage were well seasoned. Conclusion: I think it's far too expensive to put almost €30 on the table for a "goose breast" that's almost impossible to eat. You don't serve something like that to your guests!!! The chef should be forced to eat his own products, then hopefully things would change.

Were there for dinner on November 1st, 2024. Happy to have found a German restaurant. The restaurant is simple but functionally equipped. The food tasted very good and the portions were really big. The price/performance ratio for the food is therefore right. That was very positive. The only criticism is that the drinks are very expensive. Therefore a star deduction. Otherwise great and recommended!

We have dinner with friends about three times a year. It was the chanterelles' turn again. You'll be amazed that the cheapest dish with chanterelles was just under 20 euros. If you then want another piece of meat, it's 28.00 euros. We all know that it's not the catering industry's fault. In any case, only one of us ordered chanterelles, the one with the voucher! As usual, the rest of us enjoyed the very good quality of the well-known selection of dishes at the Blueberry. As always, the atmosphere was cozy and the service was attentive. It was a successful evening even without chanterelles.

Classic Berlin restaurant. I had a currywurst with fries for €10.50. The portion of currywurst and fries was absolutely good in terms of price/performance. You definitely got full and for a fairer price. Other dishes weren't overpriced and had a fair portion!

From March to July 2024, two, three and four of us ate a variety of dishes including fish several times. It tasted good. If you want crispy fried potatoes, you can get them here! There are, among other things, four types of well-chilled draft beer. The Blueberry has warm, fresh cuisine at fair prices and attentive, friendly staff seven days a week from 12 p.m. to 10 p.m. After the Corona measures, the shortage of skilled workers and the significantly increased energy and food prices, this is very encouraging. This is no longer widespread today. It is to be hoped that it will remain this way for many years to come. (The toilets at Blueberry are very clean.)

We are patients at the Charité Dental Clinic and always go to the Blueberry afterwards. The food is fantastic and the portions are huge. The staff there is super friendly and helpful. This restaurant is definitely recommended. Anyone who has been there once always comes back. So us today. Great food again.
