Hausgemacht in Meerbusch

A very pleasant evening. Attentive, friendly staff, beautiful, traditional, well-maintained dining rooms, and excellent food. I look forward to my next visit...

Closed. It's in the clubhouse. No one could be reached at that number. We cycled 10km there, only to find the doors closed, even though it says online and on the website that it's open. EDIT: I'd like to address the owner's response. This is incorrect. The website didn't say anything about holidays (please provide screenshots to prove this). It was also possible to create a bowl online, and according to the opening hours, it was open. Therefore, we contacted the phone number. We went to the restaurant and looked around thoroughly, as we didn't understand it, as it said everywhere that it was open. All the shutters were closed, and there was no (!!!) menu in the box in front of the door that even indicated the existence of the restaurant or its closure. Only around the corner behind the trash cans were two boards with menu items written on them, which we could tell we were in the right place. There, too, no indication of closure. Furthermore, the tennis club's information board, which hangs near the gate, lists the regular opening hours and provides no information about closing times. I find it unprofessional to dismiss criticism so bluntly, even though it's not true. What a shame.

A very tasty restaurant. Good food, friendly staff, outdoor seating, and on-site parking.

Located directly on the Rhine, the interior is also impressive. It can get a bit chilly outside in the evenings, so blankets have been distributed. The outdoor seating could be upgraded to a higher quality. The plastic chairs aren't appropriate for a restaurant of this class. The service is very friendly and attentive, and the food is also excellent. We'd happily return.
