Hotel Vier Jahreszeiten am Achensee – Review and Recommendation I'm looking back on five days at this hotel. The hotel is very large, which makes it a little difficult to find your way around at first – even with the map you get at reception. Many long corridors lead to the various areas. After a few days, however, you get the hang of it. Its size allows it to cater to a wide range of guests. The hotel is particularly well-suited for families with children. There are numerous indoor activities as well as daily programs that go beyond swimming. A real highlight is the entire spa area with its massages and beauty treatments – the service here is top-notch. The staff are very well-trained, empathetic, and considerate. The treatments were fantastic, especially the beauty treatments, the Lomi Lomi massage, and the reflexology. The restaurant strives for fine dining with its five-course menu, but it doesn't always quite live up to expectations. A major plus is the very wide selection – both at breakfast and dinner, especially for children. The service staff is consistently very attentive and courteous. However, the quality in the "Lucia" restaurant is noticeably lacking. It appears somewhat neglected – dirty plates and glasses significantly detract from the experience. The situation is similar in some of the rooms, where the cleaning standard seems rather minimal. However, this was promptly improved after a complaint. The cake bar offers excellent quality. However, the staff there sometimes seem bored, and their language skills are limited. The reception, on the other hand, deserves special mention: The staff are attentive, friendly, and helpful. Conclusion A hotel with great potential, particularly in the wellness area and for families. The service is generally very friendly and attentive. However, there is still room for improvement in the areas of gastronomy (in some cases) and cleaning.
