We spent 2 days on the Womoplatz! Great view of the countryside... of the cow meadow... pure idyll! We have rarely seen such a well-kept property! Beautifully landscaped... animals... great playground.. great food.. great starting point for great bike tours... very nice and attentive service. Thank you very much...we'll be back!! Highly recommended!

First of all: THANK YOU, I haven't received such a friendly welcome in a long time. The food was great and the service was top notch. After visiting the zoo, it was the best idea to spontaneously spend the night here.

There were four of us and we had a quiet niche that made for a very private atmosphere. All 4 different dishes were very tasty and fresh. Very pleasant service.

The restaurant is beautifully situated in a green setting and is a popular stop for day-trippers and cyclists. The clientele is largely of the "older generation." The staff deserves a very good rating because they are attentive and polite. Unfortunately, the food didn't live up to expectations. The main complaint about the Münsterländer Schlachtplatte (Munsterland meat platter) was that the sauerkraut was overcooked. Furthermore, the meat (ribs, bratwurst, etc.) was far too fatty and not even remotely good. The pork medallions, on the other hand, were overcooked and therefore not a real treat. Only the schnitzel was not objectionable. On the positive side, the "Kristian" was accepted to the extent that dessert (vanilla pudding with cherries) was served free of charge with the platters. From previous visits, I remembered the Waldfrieden as having better results. Two stars may be a bit harsh, but three is a bit much.

Great excursion restaurant where everything is right. The nearby park is ideal for walks.

Sonntag Nachmittag bekamen wir Hunger auf ein Wildgericht, die Suchmaschine warf die Speisekarte dieses Restaurants heraus. Ein Anruf und der Tisch für 6 Personen war reserviert. Angekommen am Restaurant befürchteten wir Massenabfertigung, da es so voll war. Unsere Befürchtung bestätigte sich nicht! Super netter Empfang, toller Service, frische Qualität und das Essen war auf den Punkt. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall gerne wieder!!

A nice and big restaurant. Food was delicious. However, I have to say, I don't think it's so nice when you order the children waffles with ice cream and cherries and they say "no cherries please" so that you are forced to take them with cherries...

Three 3 stars for the food. A) My wife was happy with the food B) I had ordered a slaughter plate. You actually expect meat there. In fact, I only found a 5 to 6 cm long sausage. Also a piece of rib about 8 cm in size with about a centimeter of meat on it. Finally there was a piece of ham measuring 3 x 8 cm and 1 cm thick To put it somewhat ironically, you could describe this as the first almost vegan slaughter platter of my life. There was also mashed potatoes and sauerkraut as well as panas. Material costs around €3 to €4. Costs €21. But the waiter and the serving robot were very friendly.

We had dinner in the Rose Room with 13 people on October 6th, 2024. The ambience is really great. Everything was great, the food was very tasty, the service was great. A clear recommendation!

Wir waren schon öfters im Haus Waldfrieden und waren jeweils sehr gut zufrieden. Der letzte Besuch war unsere Familienfeier mit 33 Personen. Schon beim Vorgespräch (Räumlichkeit, Tischordnung, Speisen und Getränke) wurden wir gut beraten. Die Feierlichkeit lief zu unserer besten Zufriedenheit ab. Die Räumlichkeit war sehr gut dekoriert, die Speisen und Getränke ebenfalls sehr gut, die Bedienung stets präsent, nicht aufdringlich und doch wurde jeder Wunsch erfüllt. Das Preis/Leistungsverhältnis ist in keiner Weise überzogen.

Wir sind nach 20 Minuten Wartezeit wieder gegangen. Kein Kellner hat uns beachtet obwohl wir auf uns aufmerksam gemacht haben und nicht sehr viel Betrieb war. Wir hätten in der schönen Außenanlage gerne etwas gegessen und getrunken.

Bestellte Schnitzel mit Pfifferlingen und Schnitzel mit Zigeunersauce waren geschmacklich mangelhaft. Das Fleisch schmeckte „speckig“ und hatte einen unangenehmen Geschmack. Zudem waren die Pfifferlinge in einer leicht pappigen Sauce nicht OK

We celebrated our daughter's baptism in Waldfrieden in the Schwalbe and it was wonderful. Everything worked out great and was implemented as agreed. The service is great and all the employees are very friendly. The food is great and everything tasted very good! We would love to come back and our guests were also very enthusiastic.

We reserved a table at short notice for a large group and got a great table on the very nice terrace. The ambience and food were very good, but what we liked best was the excellent service from Mr. Veenker. He impressed our entire company with his friendly, funny, unobtrusive but extremely professional manner. There was also the great playground and the cute donkey, which delighted the children. We had a thoroughly enjoyable evening and would be happy to come back if we were in Münsterland again.

A nice reception on the terrace, and yet you could tell the waiter was a little stressed after a bus tour had just left! Those are his words. The noticeable excitement quickly dissipated and you would be rewarded with a delicious and beautifully presented menu plate. The service was also convincing. CONCLUSION: Cozy atmosphere - excellent cuisine convinced me that I am already planning a next visit with friends. If the weather is nice, a table reservation would be an advantage if possible.

We stopped over at this hotel, which has a few motohome parking places, just next to fields and meadows. What a great find. Only 4 km off the motorway, in a beautiful rural setting. Cycle path just off the hotel. Has a great restaurant and beer garden.

This was our second time there. Food and service are really great. We would like the disabled toilet to be more spacious in the next renovation plan. Going to the toilet is really difficult with a wheelchair. That's why I deducted a point from Ambience. But we would still like to come back.

The food in the higher price segment was really delicious. Trout as a starter is a poem, brawn is very delicate in the sausage meat but delicious. A little less oil on the fried potatoes would be nice. Conclusion: a little more expensive but recommended

Very nice house with good food and very good staff. We met up with our cousins ​​here. We came from the Osnabrück region and had a wonderful day. In the afternoon there was delicious cake. We will certainly come back again.

We first looked at the beautiful surroundings with friends. You can go for a walk and look at the forest and fields. Afterwards we went to the beautiful inn and had delicious food in a cozy corner. There is also great dessert, we chose ice cream cake. We'd love to come back, the people are very nice and it looks like they're well prepared for a lot of guests there.❤️

Were there on Saturday for a birthday. The food was very tasty. It's rare to find old-school staff these days who are nice, considerate and attentive. They even thought about children - they can really let off steam there after eating. Keep it up. We'll be back

OK. At first glance the price is high, but what is on offer is top notch. The service is also absolutely top class. The ambience is not my thing. Some people like rustic things, I don't. When they reserve tables, they ask for chairs. The benches are narrow and there is no legroom. More for Italians.
