Waren gestern mit 6 Pers. mit der Kulinaris Card dort. Sehr nette Chefin. Hatten unterschiedliche Gerichte und alles war super lecker. Man kann bei sämtlichen Gerichten zwischen Hähnchen, Fisch und Gambas wählen. Knoblauchbrot & Mango Dessert zu empfehlen 😋 Kann das Restaurant absolut weiter empfehlen und wir gehen da auf alle Fälle wieder hin. 😍

2026: Wieder hier gewesen! Wieder sehr lecker. Zahlt doch bitte alle in bar anstatt mit Karte. Zahlung mit Karte ist für die Besitzer nicht so günstig! 10.11.2024: Das Essen war sehr lecker und Mutter und Tochter die uns bedienten waren super nett. Meine Frau hatte Lamm mit Reise und Gemüse und ich hatte Hühnerfleisch mit Reis in einer Paprikasauce. Wir kommen wieder! Danke, für das leckere Essen!

März 2025 und Mai 2026: Sehr leckere Speisen und Getränke. Riesige gemischte Vorspeisen für 2 Personen. Hauptgerichte sehr lecker. Gehen auf Sonderwünsche ein. Ideale Schärfestufe. Frische Getränke. Espresso und Cappuccino Topp. Mango Creme und Helva und Milchreis alle sehr lecker 😋 Sehr freundliche Inhaberin. Moderate Preise. Kartenzahlung per EC möglich, obwohl laut Google nur Barzahlung. Gerne wieder 👍

Im goldenen Licht, so warm und klar, Erwartet dich ein Fest der Art. Ein Duft von Kreuzkümmel, Kardamom, Erzählt von fernen Ländern schon.

Gutes indisches Speiselokal mit großer Auswahl an indischen und anderen Gerichten. Preise okay.

Egal, was wir gegessen haben, es hat alles sehr lecker geschmeckt. Wir freuen uns schon auf den nächsten Besuch im "Haus Vasdev".

Wie immer sehr leckeres Essen und eine echte Perle in Oer-Erkenschwick. Für mich das beste indische Restaurant im Kreis Recklinghausen, wenn nicht sogar darüber hinaus. Besonders empfehlen kann ich Achari Paneer, Aloo Tiki und jetzt neu das Thali. Absolute Empfehlung. Sehr nette Inhaber.

Uns schmeckt es hier immer gut. Bislang gab es kein Gericht, welches uns nicht geschmeckt hat. Das Restaurant hat vorrangig eine indische Küche. Für alle die, die dies nicht mögen gibt es aber auch Schnitzel, Pommes und Co.

Wie immer sehr freundlich und lecker hoch 10.... kommen immer wieder gerne vorbei.....

Essen sehr sehr lecker! Leider Service eine Katastophe! 1Stunde 25 Minuten haben wir auf das Essen gewartet. Nach Getränken wurde auch nicht gefragt als die Gläser leer waren. Es war sehr laut,man konnte sich nur schwer auf Gespräche konzentrieren. Wir waren 5 Personen. Die Dame beim kassieren unappetitlich Kaugummi kauend und eher unfreundlich. Schade! Das Essen war sehr gut,aber der Rest hat es leider getrübt,sodass wir nicht noch einmal hingehen werden!

The food was delicious. The ingredients are fresh, as you can tell from the hand-chopped ingredients like lime, mushrooms, and bell peppers. I recommend the mango lassi to all guests: fresh mango puree and almond flakes demonstrate the attention to detail. And for starters, the crispy poppadoms with dip. I LOVE IT!

We had the pleasure of eating at Haus Vasdev yesterday and it was simply amazing! From the moment we walked in we were warmly welcomed and immediately felt at home. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, perfect for a relaxing evening. The food was an absolute highlight! Each dish was full of flavors and seasoned to perfection. First of all, naan bread was served with two delicious dips, it was very tasty and went perfectly with the curries. The service was attentive and friendly without being intrusive. The owner was very helpful and gave us great recommendations. Overall, it was a wonderful experience and we can highly recommend Haus Vasdev. We are already looking forward to our next visit!

I've only ever ordered takeaway, so the review doesn't relate to the ambience. The Mango Chicken is addictive! Great food, well seasoned, different combinations are possible and the portions are generous. Nice service completes the positive overall picture. We'd love to come back.

The staff ensures that you feel completely comfortable and responds to individual requests. You can tell that hospitality is very important here. The ambience is clean, tidy and cozy, which makes the stay even more pleasant. You immediately feel welcome. Overall, a great restaurant that is always worth visiting. Absolute recommendation!

Nach persönlicher Empfehlung von Freunden haben wir spontan am Sonntag dort sehr lecker indisch gegessen. Die individuellen Schärfewünsche wurden berücksichtigt. Sehr nette Bedienung vom Chef persönlich! Mit unserer Tochter können wir auch dorthin, da es auch Schnitzel, Pizza etc. gibt!

I've eaten there several times and ordered something to pick up a few times. The dishes were always very tasty. Today I unfortunately discovered that there was not just one hair, but 6 hairs in my food. Those were just the ones I found. Unfortunately I lost my appetite after that. I've always been very satisfied so far, but today's experience puts me off a bit from ordering my food there again next time.

We came across this somewhat hidden restaurant through the Kulinaris Card and it certainly wasn't our last time here. The Indian dishes we tried here were of very good quality and the portions were decent. The menu is extensive and European dishes are also offered, but you still get the impression that the dishes are freshly prepared. Before the main course, we were served fried lentil bread and two delicious dips. The owner is communicative and very friendly. The prices are fair.

We ended up here by chance while looking for a place to eat that was open on Mondays. The service was super friendly, the food was excellent and you could sit outside on a warm summer evening. Haus Vasdev convinced us across the board and made us curious for more. We will definitely come back.

We were visitors to this restaurant for the first time. The table reservation over the phone was received very friendly. So we let ourselves be surprised. When we got there we were a little surprised. You had the first impression of coming into a pub from the 80s. But then there was an extremely friendly welcome. We were shown a table and were warmly greeted by the hostess and advised about the food. She explained the menus to us and immediately recognized our wishes. The waiting time, about 20 minutes, was okay, especially since naan and dressing were served beforehand. Then our main courses came. We were pleasantly surprised by this delicious meal. You could tell straight away that everything was freshly prepared. In between, the hostess explained the individual ingredients to us. We were thrilled. They also offered to pack up the uneaten food and give it to us. The bill was absolutely fine. We assumed a much higher amount. We said goodbye with a promise to come back.

We went to this restaurant on the recommendation of the hotelier and have to say: we were not disappointed. The service was very friendly and attentive, there was a delicious greeting from the kitchen, and the food was excellent. The selection of dishes is very appealing, also for vegetarians and vegans. The restaurant is a little old, but that didn't bother us.

The atmosphere is more home-style. The food, on the other hand, was bombastically good. Large selection, low prices...also a lot of vegetarian dishes on the menu. We will definitely go there more often.

So if you want it spicy, you're in good hands! For me it is totally authentic Indian cuisine! So something new, interesting oriental cuisine. Really different, good!

It takes a long time for an “invoice” to be created. There is only “drinks and food in the house” on it. When creating it, the calculation was made twice. You have to have a separate explanation of who ate what. I can't understand whether the calculation is correct. The food tasted good.

Very tasty Indian food with a small catch... personally the portions are too small for me and therefore a bit too expensive. Dishes with lamb (minced lamb, for example) generally cost around €21. You get two small bowls with a diameter of about 10 cm. In one there is some rice (probably basmati) and in the other bowl there is mostly the meat. Chicken dishes cost around €17. Of course some of the dishes include naan bread, but for me, as a fairly stable, sporty person, it's not an advantage to come here when I'm hungry. Unfortunately, despite the starter (the samosa is a dream, by the way), it wasn't enough to fill me up. Nevertheless, the food is incredibly tasty, bursting with flavors and spices, and I will have to accept that I will have to pay a little more when I visit here and therefore come here less often. It just tastes too good!

A little gem in Oer-Erkenschwick that has eluded us for far too long. The food is super delicious and the service is absolutely great. Everything we have eaten at Haus Vasdev so far has been very tasty and really wonderfully prepared. We have loved Indian food for many years. And here it is just perfect. A real tip!

Eat deliciously in Oer-Erkenschwick

We were 2 people. We were eating and in the middle of it, the waitress came and wanted to pack it up for us. Although there were seats at the back, two guests wanted to come to our table. We were about to pay and wanted to sit there for 5 minutes. Then the waitress came back and said that we should leave because there were two guests waiting. I found it very unfriendly.

Haus Vasadev is located in Oer Erkenschwick and is a wonderful Indian restaurant. It presents itself in the premises of a rather traditional-looking restaurant (there are bowling alleys), but inside there is the power of India. Wonderful food, attentive service, a feel-good atmosphere and all at very fair prices. The guest room is not barrier-free, there is a step to climb, unfortunately the toilets are in the basement.

All in all very good. The food is delicious and a nice mixed selection. The disadvantage is that the toilets are in the basement and cannot be reached by wheelchair users or those with walking difficulties.

Indisches, vermutlich Familien geführtes Restaurant mit guter Auswahl, aufmerksamen Service und gutem Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Die Örtlichkeit leidet etwas unter dem Umstand, dass es vorher eine Kneipe war. Aus essenstechnischer Sicht absolut einen Besuch wert.

Wirklich sehr leckeres Essen, reichliche Portionen (für meine Frau zu viel), freundlicher Service. Ab jetzt unser Favorit bzgl. indischem Essen. Das Ambiente ist noch ausbaufähig, das ist (wenn man unbedingt was negative schreiben will) der einzige Minuspunkt. Ansonsten: Klare Empfehlung.
