Great restaurant with delicious food and drinks. We sat outside and felt completely at home. The service was good, but could have been more attentive. All in all, a real recommendation with local beer and freshly prepared, top-quality food.

We had a thoroughly enjoyable visit to Haus Stockhorst in Vadingholt. Upon entering the restaurant, you're immediately struck by the cozy and stylish ambiance – tastefully decorated and with great attention to detail. You immediately feel welcome and in good hands. The food was absolutely outstanding: freshly prepared, creatively presented, and of the highest quality. Every course was a delight! We were particularly impressed by the selection of regional ingredients and the harmonious composition of the dishes. The service was also first-class – friendly, attentive, and pleasantly unobtrusive. You can tell that the work here is done with heart and passion. We will definitely be back and can wholeheartedly recommend Haus Stockhorst!

At the end of May, we were invited to a family celebration. Despite the large group, they were able to accommodate my histamine intolerance with care without any problems. I would like to sincerely thank the Stockhorst team for this. They made the evening a complete success.

A real surprise! We were invited at the end of May and received warm and friendly service. I particularly like how, despite all the hustle and bustle, they still found time to accommodate our guests' special requests. The food was outstanding, both in presentation and taste. We had a baptism today at Haus Stockhorst and I have to say I have been living in Bocholt for 32 years and I drove past it and never ate there...we had the baptism with around 20 people and 4 children...we had a small hall where there was enough space for everyone and definitely for 8 more. Everything was very neatly and sophisticatedly laid out. I'll make it a little shorter otherwise you would really have to write a book about everything from the boss right up to the point the service is world-class. The restaurant is a good home-style kitchen, we had ox cheeks that were as soft as butter like mashed potatoes 😂 then there were chicken schnitzel, pork medallions, mushrooms, baked butter vegetables with bacon cubes on top - a taste explosion... French fries, Parisienne potatoes, 2 fried sauces and lots of fresh salad with croutons in it... the food was served in courses Wedding soup / main course see above / and dessert (ice cream with fresh strawberries and homemade men's cream) Refills were always plentiful and quick because you felt like you were in the best hands with the boss and her staff, very attentive team, great respect, this restaurant impresses in every way and is definitely one of the best restaurants in the area within a 100 km radius when it comes to home cooking... every dish we had there is an insider tip. Today we were at Haus Stockhorst in Vardingholt for the first time – and we are thrilled! The food was simply great: perfectly cooked scallops and butter-tender veal cheeks with fresh asparagus. Plus a super friendly and attentive team that really makes you feel welcome - you don't experience something like that every day! Definitely a recommendation – we’ll definitely be back soon!

I tried the men's cream liqueur, it tastes really delicious, just like more and, above all, natural. I can only recommend it. Cheers

We celebrated our wedding there with 100 guests over the weekend, and it was simply fantastic. Every single guest loved the food, so much so that they repeatedly requested more. There were also a few vegetarians and vegans, who were then given something extra. The price-performance ratio is more than fair! The parking lot and the location look great, as does the large hall where we could celebrate properly. For some of our guests, it was their first time, and they were all pleasantly surprised. We would celebrate there again.

The food is really very tasty. The cuisine surprises with imaginative variations. But it takes a while until the first dish comes to the table. Very attractive price/performance ratio for the drinks too. Definitely worth it!

We have been to this restaurant several times and are always very satisfied and feel very comfortable there. The food is always delicious. No matter whether it is a meat dish or fish or salad. The service is always very friendly and accommodating. And our dog is always welcome too. We would like to thank the entire Stockhorst team and recommend you without reservation.

We were there spontaneously on Sunday lunchtime. The service was good but the kitchen was slow. Good thing we ordered a delicious wedding soup as a starter.

More appearance than reality, price performance doesn't fit.

Good restaurant where you can also eat well. For family celebrations or other events there is a very nice air-conditioned hall that can also be separated. I was there recently and was shocked at the price of 39.90 for a wedding menu. I and several other people who were there with me think it's overpriced 😞.

Ate there with family and friends. Very nice atmosphere and a very good menu. There was something for everyone. There was an adapted children's menu for our children. Since it felt like every table was occupied, the service staff/kitchen had their hands full trying to serve every guest promptly. A very clear recommendation. We will definitely come back.

We were able to celebrate our wedding yesterday at Haus Stockhorst and it was a great celebration all around. The food was terrific, even special requests such as vegetarian or vegan and lactose-free alternatives were no problem after consultation. We were able to enjoy our favorite cocktails in the evening and none of our guests ever had an empty glass. A special thank you goes to all the service staff who always served us with a smile, super friendly and in a good mood. Thank you so much for making our special day a reality!

We celebrated our 50th wedding anniversary on July 7 with about 40 guests. Everything was well organized in accordance with the agreements made, friendly service, top buffet, all our guests were very positive.

Here you can eat and drink in a cultivated atmosphere. In summer you can sit on the outside terrace and eat and drink. Direct view of the small church of Rhede Vardingholt.

Very nice beer garden. Great for cyclists 🚴‍♂️ and bikers. The service is very nice and friendly there. You can get something from cakes 🎂 to something savory for both big and small appetites.

Highly recommended. I was there again with friends after a long time, and we agreed that not only was the food very good, but we also noticed that the staff was very positive and unusual. Always a smile on your face - there seems to be a good climate there, which you don't see too often.

Wir haben am Wochenende unsere Hochzeit dort gefeiert. Haus Stockhorst hat uns eine tolle Feier ermöglicht. Alle unsere Wünsche wurden berücksichtigt, der Service war fabelhaft. Während der Feier waren alle Kellner sehr aufmerksam und es hat an nichts gefehlt. Das Essen (vegetarisch/vegan) hat uns allen sehr gut geschmeckt! Frau Danielek stand für jede Frage zur Verfügung und hat uns kompetent beraten. Wir bedanken uns von Herzen für diese tolle Feier und können Haus Stockhorst zu 100% weiterempfehlen! Es ist eine perfekte Location, für so eine Feier . ...genügend Parkplätze direkt am Haus ....Wiese mit Kinderspiele....eine nette Begrüßung....freundlicher und aufmerksamer Service. Die Küche / Buffet super .... Toiletten auch zur späten Stunden, noch tip top. Alles in Allem super

Selten ein Restaurant besucht, wo alles perfekt ist. Freundliche, aufmerksame Mitarbeiter, immer ein Lächeln im Gesicht. Die Speisekarte einfach nur Top. Das Essen, egal ob Vorspeise, Hauptgang oder Nachspeise perfekt.

Vom Essen und vom Service top. Auch das Ambiente ist gut. Aber 3 h vom Eintreffen bis zum Hauptgang ist viel zu lang. Daran sollte mal gearbeitet und die Abläufe überdacht werden.

Wir haben unsere Hochzeitsfeier bei Haus Stockhorst veranstaltet. Man ist genau auf unsere Wünsche eingegangen und es wurden einem alle Sorgen abgenommen. Das Essen wurde als Buffet dargereicht und bis spät abends nachgelegt. Qualität erstklassig. Personal war super freundlich und zuvorkommend. Der Service war insgesamt fantastisch. Die Hochzeitsfeier wäre ohne Stockhorst nur halb so schön gewesen :)

Weihnachten zum Buffet da gewesen. Essen war sehr lecker. Auch genug Auswahl, erst recht beim Nachtisch. Bisschen frisch war es in dem kleinen Saal. Der Service war sehr gut. Flott und sehr zuvorkommend.

Sehr gutes Essen und super Service und super freundlicher Chef. Einfach top . Wir meine Frau und älteste Tochter mit Mann waren Silvester 2022 da. Jetzt bin ich 63 Jahre und habe noch nie so gut gegessen .

Wer tollen, freundlichen Service und großartiges Essen in einem familiären und liebevollen Ambiente erleben möchte, der sollte DRINGEND ein Mal dort essen gehen !!! Egal, zu welcher Jahreszeit ! Das Haus Stockhorst gehört definitiv in unserer persönlichen, kulinarischen Hitliste nach ganz oben !!! Wir sind dort immer wieder gern und genießen dort jede Minute, zuletzt mit unseren besten Freunden und unserem kleinen Baby-Sohn, dem dort auch so viel Verständnis entgegengebracht wurde !!! Als er sich nämlich zum Fläschchen meldete, bekam Mama ihr Essen später, sodass erst in aller Ruhe der Kleine versorgt werden konnte. Das zeichnet dieses Lokal nochmal zusätzlich aus !!! Wir freuen uns alle drei auf ein baldiges Wiedersehen in unserem Lieblingsrestaurant !!! :-)

Wir waren hier in einer 7er-Gruppe, die regelmäßig andere Restaurants ausprobiert. Hier wurden wir nett willkommen geheißen, der reservierte Tisch war hübsch eingedeckt. Der Service der sehr zuvorkommenden Junior-Chefin war ganz besonders. Gerichte aus der kleinen, aber feinen Karte konnten nach Wunsch abgewandelt werden. Und es hat allen aus unserer Gruppe hervorragend geschmeckt. Vor dem Essen wurde selbst gemachtes Senfbrot mit Meersalzbutter gereicht, herrlich. Hinweisen möchte ich aber auch auf die vorbildlichen WC-Räume, mit nicht überall selbstverständlichen Kleinigkeiten, wie Tampons, Binden, Deo und Haarspray. Ausreichende Parkplätze vor dem Haus und kostenloses WLAN, da Vardingholt in einem Funkloch liegt und man ansonsten keinen Mobilfunkempfang hat. Sicherlich auch im Sommer einen Besuch mit Außen-Sitzplätzen ein Vergnügen.
