Haus Rothenbach "Restaurant für Jedermann" in Wassenberg

We went there for the breakfast buffet. There isn't a huge selection; the buffet is a bit smaller overall. However, what you get is of good quality. I would have liked a larger selection for vegetarians, but you're used to that in the countryside. The scrambled and fried eggs are freshly prepared and taste really good. So, I think €12.90 per person is good value for money. We'll be back again.

We often visit Haus Rothenbach, whether for the asparagus buffet, breakfast, or dinner. The service and food are first-class, and your every wish is fulfilled. The restaurant management is everything you could wish for as an owner. They help out in every situation, and the team works together really well; a big compliment to everyone. The dishes are simply amazing, and here too you can tell that the cooking is done with love. The location is surrounded by nature, and you feel like you're on vacation. A bit harder to find, but definitely worth it for a quick bite to eat. A delicious kitchen where everything is freshly made. The prices are reasonable and the service is friendly. Sufficient parking space.

Arrived with a camper, the parking space is available for 10 euros. The 10 € can be charged in the restaurant. Extremely friendly service! 👍🏻 The food was delicious and the plates were even preheated 👌🏻We shared the dessert and that wasn't a problem either! Great, we can do this place (and also the parking space) highly recommended!

Definitely worth a visit for a delicious meal. Our meal, with its extensive side dishes, was simply excellent.

Price/quality ratio was not good. 3 courses (soup, main course, simple dessert) for 49.00 euros I find quite expensive. Few vegetables. Little choice. Too bad.

I find 145€ for 6 people just for breakfast to be more than exorbitant. Canteen-like and absolutely not appropriate for the price

Me and my husband were there for coffee on a beautiful Sunday afternoon in October 2024. We had the waffle with cherries and ice cream for €7.30, cream for €1.20 was added and 2 cappuccinos. Since I don't like cherries and there were no strawberries, I got a waffle with a scoop of ice cream and cream, but was charged full. You could have said this then I would have just taken a waffle with powdered sugar. The portion of cream was not a heap of cheap spray cream, some of which was already liquid on the plate and that for €1.20. Honestly... just drinking a cappuccino with waffles cost 23.00 euros. THIS is simply absurd!!!! Not even worth one star!

We were there for the Oktoberfest evening. There was a good buffet, typically Bavarian. Delicious little minces, meat loaf and roast meat. Plus plenty of side dishes, salads and vegetables. Great. Anyone who came in traditional costume received a half as a gift. The cost of the meal was around €25, half of it cost from €5.50. That's fine I think. Unfortunately, the buffet was cleared away quite early in the evening. This was announced, but it still really bothered me. It wasn't like that last year either. Therefore “only” 4 points for the food. The reason given for the early clearing was the beer mug pushing competition. Last year there were also games to loosen things up, but the buffet was left standing and was also refilled if I remember correctly. This time the late second course was only for the staff, with some people eating behind the counter in between. All in all, our group still really enjoyed it. I think we'll be there again next year.

The Rothenbach house can only be recommended! My son has an autoimmune disease and needs a balanced diet. This is the first place that has weighed everything before and after he prepares the food so that we can administer insulin accordingly. Every wish is catered for and it was a huge experience full of joy and enjoyment for us as a family. The food tastes excellent, the staff is always helpful and very friendly.

On Saturday, November 11th, 2023, I ate an excellent goose buffet at Haus Rothenbach. It was uniquely prepared. Combined with the great atmosphere and the very good service in the restaurant, it was a real culinary delight and an all-round successful evening.

Went there today for the goose dinner buffet. Conclusion: The best first. Service 5*. Comfortable chairs and nicely set up. The atmosphere is far too loud and the tables are too close together. The goose parts were too dry, the red cabbage tasteless and watery, the Brussels sprouts could have passed for strained food. Probably been cooking for two hours. The dumplings were standard but the potatoes were good. The starter soup was ok and some of the nuts in the dessert tasted rancid. We won't be coming back! Addendum on 11/13/23 And when we say “we” won’t be back, we mean four people. Which, when the impression is passed on to children and friends, becomes another six to eight people. Too bad. But good luck to you. Take it as input. Don't cook everything to death. The potatoes were great. Then the other ingredients should work too.

Sehr schönes Restaurant am Golfplatz. Ich werde nachberichten.

Die Lage direkt am Golfplatz, das ganze Ambiente, ist einfach schön. Was neben der guten Küche hervorsticht, ist der zuvorkommende Service. Es wird auf die Wünsche der Gäste eingegangen und sowohl Kinder, als auch Hunde, sind willkommen. Unser Enkel leidet an Diabetes Typ 1. Der Koch hat das Essen abgewogen und sogar das Gewicht der Fleischpanade errechnet, damit der Kleine die richtige Menge an Kohlenhydrate zur Insulinbererchnung eingeben konnte. Ein großartiges Haus mit großartigen Personal.

Wir waren zum Sonntags Buffet es war super lecker, viel Auswahl, kommen gerne wieder 👍👍

Für 9,90 € , ohne Getränke, war das Frühstücksbuffet ausreichend. Ich persönlich hätte lieber 10 € mehr bezahlt und mehr Auswahl an Wurst, Käse, Brot, Brötchen, Lachs und inklusive Kaffee gehabt. Rühr,- und Spiegeleier wurden frisch, nach Wahl, zubereitet. Der Service war ausgezeichnet. Auch das Ambiente.

Alle sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Hier brauch man kein Clubmitglied zu sein und darf hier essen und spielen. Schöne Außenterasse und ruhige Gegend

Es hat einfach alles gepasst. Schön eingerichtet, toller Service und sehr leckeres Essen. Kann ich nur empfehlen. Ist zwar bei einem Golfclub aber das Restaurant kann von jedem besucht werden. Sehr zu empfehlen.

Wij hebben er met zijn 4 geeten. Het was heerlijk. Heel vriendelijk perseneel. Is zeker aan te raden om daar te gaan eten. Wij gaan zeker nog eens terug.mooi restaurant.

Wir waren heute hier um den Geburtstag meiner Frau zu feiern und waren sehr zufrieden. Der Service ist ausgesprochen freundlich und auch Änderungswünsche waren kein Problem. Das Essen war sehr, sehr lecker. Wir sind nicht das erste Mal hier und ganz bestimmt nicht zum letzten Mal.

Vorspeisen und Nachtisch waren sehr gut, würde dem Küchenchef empfehlen das rosbeef von der Karte zu nehmen
