Yesterday we went to BOHO Beach *on recommendation* because it wouldn't be a problem with the dogs (Pomeranian). Unfortunately, dogs are no longer allowed here (beach/meadows/loungers). The lady in front of us was thrown out of the restaurant with her twice because someone was barking. Afterwards we went in with 2x Pomeranians and wanted to inquire. The service lady in the restaurant unintentionally answered us without looking at us and said: dogs not allowed. When I asked if it was forbidden in the restaurant because there were others with large dogs there, she said: yeah, no, they can... BUT so reluctantly. We turned around and left, ...ware. Come especially from Düsseldorf. THEN CONTINUED TO DOGGY BEACH.

The site says “opened and confirmed”, but after an hour's drive we are sent away because there is a private party. They first look at us with 20+ staff members without saying anything and when we sit down the staff only comes and tells us that they are closed.

Cozy beach bar, places right on the water possible. Covered terrace quite simply furnished, the restaurant behind it is very nice. Food simple but tastes good, prices are okay too. More of a snack bar than a restaurant, but I can recommend it

We have been here again for a very long time. And we'll definitely be back. It was very crowded, so you have to take some time, but it's definitely worth it. The food was really very tasty. The view is also great.

A moment of vacation - an unforgettable location. We got married on site on August 24th, 2024 and were thrilled with the planning before the event as well as the execution on the day itself. Great food, great service, great vibe! Our free wedding ceremony on the water with beach vibes enchanted everyone and the party in the evening was relaxed and quick and easy to organize with on-site facilities. Even after the wedding we received tons of positive feedback and despite the wind and weather in the evening, nothing could stop the party. Thanks to Alex, the most personable owner and Esra, the sweetest and most calming soul as event manager. As well as the entire Boho team - absolute honey jar moment forever! :)

A very nice location, right on the lake you get a holiday feeling, if there were still beach chairs there I would describe it as a short holiday. Very friendly staff who remain calm and friendly even in extreme situations, when it's very busy and that's almost always been the case so far, it becomes difficult for the staff. Which I can certainly understand and I wait patiently for my drink. The waiting times for the food were always reasonable, it came to the table hot, that's important to me. I had a steak noodle plate, the steak pieces were perfectly fried medium for me, which was also asked for when ordering. It had its resting time and was tender as butter, which was just something very noodle-heavy for me because I had ordered steak noodles, four small pieces of meat, the rest of it was noodles with truffle sauce and a few leaves of truffles. Although it tasted very good. Maybe just change the name pasta steak then the expectation isn't so great, there were so many pasta on the beautifully presented plate so I only managed to eat half of it, but it was no problem at all to have the leftovers packed up. The pizza also looked excellent and was very tasty. If you just want a little something, for example just fries, no problem, they are beautifully prepared. It's not cheap in terms of price, but when you consider the quality of the food, what a hassle it is to keep everything in good condition in such a beautiful atmosphere, personnel costs, rent, etc. I think it's absolutely justified. Yes, the drinks are great but now as written you always pay for the extras, oh to mention there are water sports options right at the restaurant. I will be there more often to take a short break from everyday life.

We had a great evening at the Boho Beach Bar today. Thanks to the staff for the great service, thanks to the boss for the cool location. We'd love to come back.

So we drove 45 minutes here because it looked very nice on the internet. We were very pleased and the first impression was very positive. At the beginning the service came very frequently, but as the evening progressed it only came upon request. We sat here for 20 minutes with empty plates and glasses and were ignored even though it was actually very empty. The pizza for €10 was good, but there is still something to be desired in terms of taste. The ambience is a 10/10 including the music, the service is poor. We couldn't be given any information about things that were on the menu. We are really disappointed. Unfortunately, the price-performance ratio isn't right either, so we're considering whether it's worth coming again for us.

Disgraceful service! Anti-family! It was not possible to reserve the daybeds because only a telephone number was provided and the mailbox was full. Not bad, since the website advertises free beach loungers that you can use as an alternative - or so we thought. Things were different on site. Beach loungers are not allowed to be used! When my wife asked for the daybeds alone, there were still some available. When you saw the children, they suddenly became reserved. First, as written on the website, we were told to wait until 1 p.m., at 1 p.m. it became 2 p.m. Never again! It's a shame, nice location.

We've been coming to the location for years. Formerly Amici, now Boho. Unfortunately, it's not as good as it used to be. On the whole, the price-performance ratio is not justified! This was our fourth time at Boho. First of all, the good thing... The ambience was and is very good, the service was very friendly and tried hard, but as I said, the food is priced quite high, and the performance/quality is mediocre to poor. Unfortunately. We are really disappointed with the food and the prices. My schnitzel was quite good. The size could have been more. Pepper sauce delicious. The pizza was really bad. Way too dry. You couldn't eat rim. Price schnitzel €22, pizza €16. We won't eat there anymore. Been disappointed too many times.

Bajkaaa!, but in boho style 😃 I can't say anything bad, I just experienced very nice service right from the moment I entered. Beautiful atmosphere, relaxing music in the background and delicious food. What more do you need??? View??????? Of course there is too! So see you on Sunday at the "White party" 🥳

Ate a delicious carpacio comfortably by the lake

We have been there 3 times so far. The interior is beautiful and of course the view. A really nice place when the weather is great. In my opinion the food is fast food, as is usually the case in such places, garnished with some “truffles” etc. It's ok if you don't have particularly high expectations. What is extremely annoying, however, is when the music is so loud in the middle of the day that you can only communicate with your Dayebed neighbor by screaming. In the evening that's probably ok, but if you want to come there to relax, read something, just rest, this is probably the wrong place. The waitresses are sometimes annoying, they cut you off while you're talking just to ask if there's anything else you can do. It's a bit too much for our taste. The prices for the daybed are completely acceptable, but the menu prices are debatable. All in all nice and worth a visit.

Location really great. Great facility and very nice atmosphere. Definitely hard to get a parking space on the weekend. But this week it was really very pleasant. Went with 2 adults and two children. In total we spent around €70 for three people.

I like the atmosphere at Boho Beach. The food was ok, the prices are ok for the place but the service is unfortunately so bad. The waiters were inattentive and our table was not cleared, so the glasses and plates piled up. We had to actively approach the waitress so that we wouldn't die of thirst. The service would be a reason for me not to visit you again.

First the good: Nice water views. When you order a bottle of water for 5 people, only 2 glasses come together on a tablet with dirty glasses. Generally, the fresh glasses are wet inside and out. You have to dump out the rest of the rinse water yourself. Maybe the prices are too cheap that you can't expect a dry, clean glass at 9 euros for a 700 ml bottle of water. Unfortunately you have to wait a long time for service and the salad and drinks were brought along with the food. It was only cleared away after you noticed half an hour after eating. Unfortunately, the Wiener Schnitzel is not a real Wiener Schnitzel. It was thick and dry although water ran out when you squeezed it. It comes without lemon but, if requested, with sauce for an extra 3 euros, which in my case was clearly not enough. Unfortunately, due to the pricing and service, I cannot make a recommendation.

Super relaxed here, the service is 10 out of 10, very friendly even if you're there very late. You will be served very well and everything you want will be fulfilled even at a late hour if there are options. I can't give any stars for the food because we didn't eat anything.

Very nice restaurant, great ambience and nice and friendly staff. On nice days you can watch the daring tricks of the water skiers up close on the terrace. Highly recommended.

What an event! We celebrated baby shower and our extras were no problem at all. (We had special pastries with us, which were even kept in the fridge) Unique! The Beach Bar is a true dream on the lake! The relaxed atmosphere, delicious cocktails and friendly staff make every visit an unforgettable experience. The stunning lake views and relaxing music add to the perfect beach bar atmosphere. I can't wait to come back and spend more time in this wonderful place!

On our first visit we were impressed by the location, it wasn't busy yet and we were served friendly and quickly. On the second visit, when the weather was great, it was very crowded, there was a long wait for food and drinks, the espresso was completely forgotten and if you're sitting right at the front by the water and have children playing next to you, you shouldn't be annoyed by water and sand splashes. The rental of the sun loungers is very expensive for our taste and there is also a minimum consumption. Let's see how the team gets along here. Otherwise it's a nice trip

It's a great place to slow down from everyday life. We were there after our bike tour. It was nice, we were served quickly and courteously. We were there again today. As a guest you are pampered and introduced straight away. Very friendly staff. The boss lends a hand. Simply great

All around just great! We were totally thrilled and convinced. From the food, the atmosphere and above all from the operator and his team. But one after anonther: 1. The food was really delicious! The (still warm) focaccia as a starter was a dream and the truffle mayo with it (and also with the fries) was simply heavenly! Our feedback on the amount of super tasty dressing for the salad was gratefully received and immediately implemented and improved the following day. 2. The ambience and location are just beautiful. The view of the lake and all the loving details are just beautiful. So far I have rarely seen this in Germany and mostly abroad. Finally a top address in Germany 👌 3. The service is really very good and very, very friendly. We talked to Alex, the operator, for a while. One sentence from him particularly impressed us: “My staff is my capital”. The guest can totally feel this, because without exception it seemed as if the employees were very satisfied and happy with their job and boss. It is not surprising that Alex has no problem finding and retaining employees (despite the location being far from the beaten path). Conclusion: We will be back and are already looking forward to our next visit!

The Boho Beach, which has recently had a new owner, can only be recommended!!! I have been there several times with my acquaintances and friends, be it in the summer to visit the beach club or to have something delicious to eat or drink. The manager and all the staff are very friendly and helpful. There are no long waits to place orders and the service is quick. Even on busy and stressful days, the waiters were very friendly and the quality and taste of the food was at the highest level. The location and ambience are incredible and made for every occasion. You feel very comfortable and enjoy going there. There is a holiday touch. I even liked it so much that I proposed marriage there. The managing director, whom I would like to thank again for all the support, gave us every opportunity to make this special day as beautiful as possible. We were very satisfied and would like to recommend that everyone visit Boho Beach to have a great time.

We had a small company party with 16 people at Boho Beach and everyone was thrilled. We didn't know the Boho Beach yet, only the previous owner, and were extremely pleasantly surprised at how brilliantly the decor was designed. The staff was also super friendly and always there for our needs. A very cozy place, not only in summer, the location is ideal. Wish the team much success.

Sehr schön dort mit direktem Blick von der Palmen -Terrasse auf den See und Wald !!!! Überaus sympathische, flotte und freundliche Bedienung !!!! Wir waren am 9.10.23 bei sonnigem Wetter nur auf Kaffee und Cocktails ein paar Stunden dort. Essen kann daher noch nicht bewertet werden. Schade, dass es noch kein Frühstück oder Brunch dort gibt. Wäre sicher ein Renner 👍👍👍 Vlt. gibt's das ja bald auch noch.👍👍👍

Wir waren im Boho Beach Restaurant und hatten eine eher durchschnittliche Erfahrung. Die Pizza, die wir bestellten, kam leider kalt an, was unseren Genuss etwas beeinträchtigte. Außerdem fiel uns auf, dass die Speisekarte ziemlich abgegriffen und schmutzig war, was nicht besonders angenehm war. Hart an der Ekelgrenze. Die Bedienung war durchschnittlich und erfüllte ihren Zweck, aber es fehlte definitiv an einem gewissen Charme oder Engagement seitens des Personals. Ich bin kein Kumpel, sondern Gast. Insgesamt war unser Besuch okay, aber es gibt definitiv Raum für Verbesserungen.

Wir waren gestern zu Viert zum Schnitzelessen im Boho Beach. Eine wirklich tolle Lokation, die sich im Vergleich zum ehem. Amici Beach auch noch um Einiges verbessert hat. Als beim Essen ein bisschen was schiefgegangen ist, wurde unsere Beanstandung sehr souverän bearbeitet und eine für uns gute Lösung gefunden. Für uns war es wichtig, das vor Ort anzusprechen und nicht nur via Googlebewertung ein negatives Feedback zu hinterlassen. An dieser Stelle noch einmal vielen Dank von uns dafür :-)

Das neu eröffnete Boho Beach hat eine TOP-Lage am Effelder Waldsee. Das Ambiente innen und außen ist sehr gelungen. Hell und einladend, sehr viele Außenplätze. Geschäftsführung und Service sind sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Wir waren eine größere Gruppe, das Essen wurde von allen geschmacklich gelobt. Ein sehr gutes Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis. Für eine 5*-Bewertung ist es nach einem Besuch noch zu früh, sieht aber gut aus.

Es ist eindeutig das schönste Cafe das ich in Deutschland gesehen habe. Die Atmosphäre ist echt unglaublich. Urlaubsfeeling pur. Wir haben Pizza mit Lachs/Avocado/Cherrytomaten, Mojito Virgin und Black Mambo. Cocktails waren gut, aber nicht ausgezeichnet, Black Mambo hatte eine für mich merkwürdige braune Farbe. Und die Glaser waren mit 0.2 ziemlich klein. Von der Pizza waren wir etwas enttäuscht. Ein Pluspunkt für den selbst gemachten Teig, der war aber etwas verbrannt. Tomatensauce mit Tomaten war eindeutig zu viel. Käsebelag hätte mehr gepasst. Avocado hat ebenso nach Tomatensauce geschmeckt, weil es zusammen mit dem Rest gebacken war. Besser wäre Avacodo, nachdem die Pizza fertig ist, drauf zu machen, dann würde es den Eigengeschmack behalten. Der Lachs selbst war lecker, es gab aber etwas wenig davon. Für den Preis haben wir insgesamt von der Bestellung mehr erwartet. Sonst können wir uns nicht beschweren, die Aussicht war sehr schön, der Service war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Wegen Ambiente kommen wir gerne wieder.

Ein wunderschöner Ort um einen kleinen urlaubstag zu erleben, sehr nettes Personal super cocktails und leckeres Essen.wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und kommen mit Sicherheit wieder.
