We were eating at the Landmann restaurant and were immediately surprised by an unpleasant incident: an employee - presumably the owner himself - was shouting loudly, which immediately had a negative impact on the atmosphere. When our food came, I didn't even have cutlery and had to ask for it and wait. The food itself was okay, but absolutely nothing special. The service from the two young ladies, however, was really friendly and helpful - high praise at this point. They did their best, but obviously there is a shortage of staff there. Instead of meaningfully strengthening the team, people seem to prefer to save money, which is clearly reflected in the chaotic process. For us it was the first and last time - we definitely won't be coming back and can't recommend the restaurant.

Ordered twice and never again. Once the hunter's sauce was missing from the hunter's schnitzel. The second time we didn't get any food at all. After waiting 1.5 hours we were told on the phone that the order was unfortunately not in the system. Then the driver spoke up... the name had been written down completely wrong, despite spelling it out several times. And the name is actually quite short and simple with just 5 letters! UNBELIEVABLE!

As always when I order, the food came warm and there was nothing wrong with it. It's great what a delivery service has been set up here during the pandemic. The only point of criticism: Why did you abolish the option of card payment again?

Unfortunately, technically we are still in the Middle Ages. Unfortunately, only cash payment is currently possible. A rogue who thinks evil here. Too bad. Food is delicious, but without the option to pay digitally, restaurants are a no-go!

Food:🌟🌟🌟🌟 We had different types of schnitzel and an XXL potato pancake with apple compote. It was really very very tasty. However, I would have been very happy with 1 or 2 vegan options. In any case, no food was labeled as such. I know that it is not (yet) common in a home-style restaurant, but I think it would be contemporary. The salad dressing was a bit too creamy for me, but that's probably a matter of taste. Service: 🌟🌟🌟🌟 Was great. There is a little room for improvement, for example not every table is set with salt/pepper. But service staff very nice. Ambience: 🌟🌟🌟🌟 Fits the concept. Would go again with a vegan option.

Great service and ambience. The food is just like eating in a German restaurant after Corona. We have learned that you can sell cheap products for a lot of money if they are mediocrely prepared. I was in the Landmann on Dürener Str. and ate the goose - and what can I say? I was absolutely thrilled! The portion was huge, the food was incredibly tasty, and the service was simply top notch. Here you really get something for your money compared to many other restaurants. Absolute recommendation for everyone who values ​​good portions and quality. We ordered: the order arrived on time and warm, very nice employees, all dishes were skillfully prepared and with very good, high-quality ingredients. We had sauerbraten, Kässpätzle, kale, venison goulash. Everything like with mothers. That wasn't the last time! Thank you very much for this Sunday feast.

The best goulash soup "ever" ... lekka Early on tap. You can "die" here. Service is now great again (2024-10-20). Great pub that is also open after 11pm (again). Keep it up!

I'm sorry, but this is my first time having to give a bad review. The red cabbage had a sting and was inedible. The gravy had a burnt taste. The meat wasn't tender enough for a sauerbraten. That was the first and last time I went there. The interior design is simple. This is best suited to young families, and the restaurant is just good enough for that. This is also eagerly accepted. ----- A compensation arrangement was found. That's good.

Ordered food as usual, waited almost two hours for cheese spaetzle and a meatball, then the delivery person told me that there was no meatball. Couldn't anyone have picked up the phone in almost two hours and told me beforehand? No, the poor delivery person is sent ahead and then I have to call the restaurant myself in the evening for a voucher? I think it would be cheeky even if I would order there again. To make matters worse, the cheese spaetzle were much worse than usual, thin white sauce, felt like there was no cheese. Worked like spaetzle in milk. Absolute catastrophe, except for the supplier, who was at least friendly and was the least responsible for this absurdly poor performance. The bottle of wine that was given for the delay confirmed to me that it was the restaurant's fault and not the driver's fault

Service staff are friendly and helpful, but the boss complains loudly throughout the restaurant and is completely overwhelmed. You really feel sorry for the staff. Food/schnitzel was large but average, Kölsch warm.

Very disappointed with the food - not again

Bad service, fries are quite tasty, but if half of the table gets their fries half an hour earlier than the rest, that's more than inconvenient. Communication on the part of the service is very important, we had to get the menus ourselves and go in several times to order new Kölsch and ask about the rest of the food. No recommendation, wouldn't come back.

OK. Evaluated completely objectively. We had something delivered. 1. Jägerschnitzel with fried potatoes 2. Paprika schnitzel with croquettes On the one hand, the sauce for the Jägerschnitzel tasted absolutely nothing like mushrooms and there weren't really any mushrooms to be found in it. Then the sauce was so hardened that it arrived at us as a lukewarm, gray jelly. The sparkle on the tongue, which was present for a long time afterwards, indicates the usual fix for sauces. The sauce for the paprika schnitzel was the same in green, although there was a good amount of paprika, but the depth of the flavor was similar to that of the hunter sauce. I feel a little uncomfortable in my stomach and I'm tired. You can say whatever you want about the schnitzel. Opinions may differ somewhat there. My opinion is that it just tasted like it was fried in regular vegetable oil. Personally, I would have found it better to save some of the huge piece of meat and instead fry it in clarified butter and stir it in a little so that the breading stands out a little from the food being fried. But like I said, just a personal opinion. It was a shame, the croquettes arrived lukewarm at best and the fried potatoes, something must have gone wrong. I can't believe that they live up to your expectations. Conclusion, I generally hope that something went fundamentally wrong today and for some reason (help the sauces, a complete disaster) you sent food that you would rather not have sent.

Rarely have I eaten such bad food. Despite being very hungry, the schnitzel with “hunter’s sauce” and fried potatoes ended up in the trash after the first try. The sauce tasted nothing like champions, rather it was totally masked by flavor enhancers, the fried potatoes were drowned in fat, the schnitzel had a completely strange consistency. All in all, an absolute failure unfortunately.

Thank you for such delicious, hot food. We are thrilled and would love to come back. We would particularly like to highlight the large Landmannschnitzel with fried egg, bacon, onions and fried potatoes with shallots and bacon. Kale with Mettenden so delicious. The service was friendly and the price/performance ratio was good. See you soon....

Very nice place with delicious food. One of the few Brauhaus which offer long drinks as well. The Himmel und Aad was really good and the Pommes were one of the best I have had. Generally the restaurant is quite full, so reservations are a must.

Gutbürgerliches Restaurant in Köln Ehrenfeld. Wir sind spontan hin gegangen und haben den letzten freien Tisch bekommen. Essen war lecker und reichlich. Service kompetent und freundlich. Die Akustik ist dort nicht so gut, wir hatten das Pech, daß wir extrem laute Gäste am Nachbartisch hatten, so dass wir nach dem Essen schnell wieder gegangen sind. Schade.

Selten so enttäuscht gewesen! Das Essen kam nach 1,5h (angegebene Lieferzeit 30min) und dann auch noch unvollständig sowie kalt. Kann passieren an einem Freitagabend. Was jedoch völlig unakzeptabel ist, ist die sehr schlechte Qualität beider (!) Schnitzel, da diese mit Sehnen durchzogen waren und innen grau. Habe mich selten so geekelt und trotz gesteigertem Hunger war der Appetit vollkommen entschwunden. Da ist jedes Schnitzel aus dem Discounter qualitativ hochwertiger. Einmal und nie wieder!

Schöne Location und nette Bedienung. Gerne wieder. Waren jetzt schon ein paar mal auf einen Absacker dort und immer sehr zufrieden. Gegessen habe ich dort aber noch nichts, daher keine Bewertung.

Haben hier zu Mittag gegessen. Alles war frisch angerichtet und sehr lecker. Der Service war sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Es waren viele Stammgäste hier, die Gaststätte war gut besucht. Das spricht für sich. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Lecker und gute Brauhaus Atmosphäre

Sehr uriges Restaurant im Herzen von Lindenthal. Lauschiger Außenbereich. Die Schnitzel (alle vom Schwein) sind einfach lecker, alle anderen Gerichte auch. Dazu eiskaltes Früh. Das passt einfach. Bedienungen sehr freundlich. Parken nicht so einfach, der Bus hält 20 Meter weiter. Kartenzahlung möglich. Klare Empfehlung.

Ein tolles gemütliches Restaurant nach Brauhaus Art. Leckere Gerichte

Gut gegessen. Currywurst mit Pommes (Kartoffelchips) Schulnote 2+, Salat für Beilagensalat groß und frisch, u.a. mit Mais und Oliven, im Vergleich mit vielen anderen Gaststätten 2+. Kölsch (Früh?) frisch in der genau richtigen Temperatur. Leber mit Kartoffelpüree und Apfelmus und vielen Zwiebeln. Leber saftig, Garzustand 1- und insgesamt 2. Preise für die meisten Gerichte zwischen 13 und 20 EUR. Toilette könnte mal eine Erneuerung vertragen, aber alles o.k. Hier kann man gut hingehen.

Die Portionen sind sehr groß. Wenn man keinen Riesenhunger hat, langt eine Portion für 2 Personen, z.B. Wiener Schnitzel.

Essen nur lauwarm, und wir wurden trotz Reservierung nach draußen in ein Zelt gesetzt. Nicht zu empfehlen.

Im Sommer ein netter Biergarten, im Winter eine urige Eckkneipe. Das Essen ist lecker, die Getränke süffig. Alles vielleicht einen Hauch teurer, als in einer "normalen" Kneipe oder Restaurant, aber das Personal ist freundlich, das Essen gut - da bleibe ich bei 5 Sternen. Nur das Ambiente drinnen ist nicht ganz so schön und iwo in den 80ern stehen geblieben.

Nicht zu empfehlen!!! Essen und Service eine absolute Katastrophe. Die Klassiker „Metthappen und Halve Hahn“ werden anstatt auf einem Röggelchen auf Aufbackbrötchen serviert. Ohne Worte!!!

Perfekt für Gut Bürgerliche Küche. Eigentlich schon fast ein Geheimtipp in Köln. Die Parkplatzsituation ist allerdings eine Katastrophe. Lange Suche...

Wir haben kurzfristig mit mehreren Personen einen Tisch gebucht und hatten einen wunderbaren Abend. Zum Essen haben wir Steak und Schnitzel gewählt, beides auf den Punkt und sehr lecker. Justus und das Service Team haben uns erstklassig versorgt. Es war auch gern gesehen, dass unser Tenor wunderbare, klassische Lieder sang. Ein Lokal, in dem man sich wohlfühlt, hervorragend bedient wird und lecker essen kann. Wir können das Lokal nur empfehlen, bedanken uns von Herzen und kommen gerne wieder.

Innen: Rustikales Flair, ein wenig in die Jahre gekommen. Möglichkeit draußen zu sitzen gegeben. Netter Empfang, direkt beim "Du", wie ich es persönlich bei dieser Atmosphäre erwarte. Eher etwas für den großen Hunger. Qualität der Speisen echt gut. Hatten Schnitzel, Leber mit gedünstetem Apfel und Kartoffelstampf, überbackenem Camembert mit Preiselbeerbirne und Salat. Nichts aus der Packung. Schnitzel riesig, aber nicht zu dünn, butterzart. Leider (an diesem Tag?) nur Barzahlung möglich... Preise für Größe der Portionen angemessen.

Leider war das Essen für den Preis diesmal nicht gut. Der Wirsing schmeckte diesmal überhaupt nicht. Die Bratkartoffeln ganz OK aber nur lau warm, die Schnitzel zu trocken. Schade waren sonst immer begeistert.

Leider enttäuschend. Die Qualität hat sehr nachgelassen, wir haben schon oft dort gegessen und wurden heute sehr enttäuscht . Bedienung sehr unaufmerksam, essen von der Qualität für den Preis nicht gerechtfertigt. Bratkartoffeln waren in fett ertrunken und roh , auch nachdem ich neue erhalten habe waren diese ebenfalls roh.

Bedienung überfordert, das Schnitzel für den Preis viel zu trocken. Es gab für Kinder keinen Apfelsaft mehr. Mussten wo das Essen kam zweimal nach Besteck fragen. Wir sind nicht pingelig aber habe schon lange nicht mehr so schlecht gegessen.

Unglaublich schlechte Bedienung. Man musste wirklich für alles betteln. Zum Ende noch eine falsche Rechnung. Natürlich inklusive aller Sachen, die zwar bestellt aber nie gebracht wurden. Kartenzahlung leider auch nicht möglich.🙄

Gute bürgerliche Küche zu fairen Preisen. Hatten nicht die größten Erwartungen und wurden positiv überrascht. Wirklich sehr gutes Schnitzel und Bratkartoffeln. Empfehlenswert, obwohl der Service etwas länger dauerte.

Wir waren zweimal da, beide Male im Aussenbereich. Erfahrung mit Bedienung (müde), Getränkeauswahl (bescheiden) und Essen (Küche schon zu) waren eher bescheiden. Den Landmann werden wir nicht nochmal besuchen. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Wir haben nun schon mehrfach für zuhause bestellt und liefern lassen. Jedesmal super Schnitzel, essen war heiß und die Kroketten sehr gut. Die Soßen waren auch top.

Eine nette #kneipe in Köln Lindenthal. Wir hatten den Reibekuchen und sind hin und weg. Der ist suoer groß aber auch knusprig.

Essen ist gut, aber nicht herausragend. Hatte Schnitzel mit Pfeffersauce und hätte letzteres wohl besser hinbekommen.Bedienung aber sehr freundlich und urige Atmosphäre. Am liebsten würde ich 4,5 Sterne geben aber das geht leider nicht.
