January 2025: I was at Haus Jägerspfad for the first time today. The waitresses are without exception very friendly and accommodating. The restaurant is nicely decorated. I had the fried pike perch with potatoes. It was tasty and the portion was decent. There was also a small salad from the buffet. The dish cost €21, which is really cheap and a great price/performance ratio. The drink prices are also very fair. I had the open, dry red wine, a Primitivo. It tasted good too. I would describe the food as home-style plus. We had a lovely evening.

Disorganized and stressful evening on Christmas Day We had already reserved a table for six people in September for Christmas Day at 5:30 p.m. Unfortunately, the evening started with problems: When we arrived, our table wasn't free and we were initially directed to the counter. After a few minutes we were able to get to the table, but it wasn't yet set, which meant further delays. After the drinks were taken, we waited a full 45 minutes until I finally had to go to the counter to ask. Only then were the drinks served. What was particularly annoying was that guests who arrived after us were allowed to order earlier and received their food before us. This reinforced the impression that the processes in the restaurant were not well organized. Another problem was that different waiters and waitresses constantly came to our table, which made an already chaotic experience even more stressful. It would make sense if a permanent service person were responsible for certain tables. This would make the processes much more structured and efficient. At one point a tray of glasses fell out of a waitress's hand and the shards scattered around the room. These were picked up, but the towel used to wipe up the liquid was still on the floor an hour later. Choosing the menu was also difficult. The Christmas menu offered soup as part of the menu, however it was beef broth, which was unsuitable for our two vegetarian guests. When we asked, we were only offered the option of choosing a salad from the buffet or an aperitif (sherry) instead. I would have liked the solution to be a little more creative and flexible - especially since alcohol is not an appropriate alternative to soup. The food itself was okay, but the long waiting times, the chaotic organization and the lack of consideration for special dietary requirements left a negative overall impression. One thing is certain for us: Next year we will consider a different restaurant, as this evening unfortunately brought more stress than enjoyment.

Great food and atmosphere - loved it!

Nice ambience but rum steak was burnt for over 35 euros and instead of Belgian fries there were normal fries. In addition, if you want to pay, the waitresses shouldn't let anyone sit for 20 minutes. Never again, thank you!!!!

The three of us had a very good meal here. The food came hot and the meat was juicy and tender. The salad from the salad bar was fresh and very filling. The ambience was tasteful and incredibly cozy at the same time. It was really very full and therefore a little louder, but we still sat comfortably in our place by the window. We didn't have to wait long for our order either. We had drinks, a main course, Dame Blanche for dessert and an espresso at the end and were well served for 90 euros. The employees were very, very friendly and on their toes. The toilet was very clean. All in all, a great evening

Absolutely recommended. Very tasty food at moderate prices. Service very good and friendly. We had to wait a few minutes until our reserved table was free. In the meantime we got a drink on the house 👌🏻 We'll definitely be back

After the renovation it became really beautiful.

Average food. Had oriental chicken breast. I wouldn't eat that again. I finally spoke to the owner about it. Response: None. The salad buffet looked good.

We had dinner with friends last night. I was last at Haus Jägerspfad over 10 years ago and was pleasantly surprised by the new ambience. The food we ordered was served quickly and all four of us really enjoyed it. Only the service seemed a bit "disorganized", so we sometimes had to order our drinks at the counter. But I'd rather have excellent food and mediocre service than the other way around. We'll definitely be back

In our search for a suitable restaurant within walking distance of our accommodation, I selected this restaurant. I was a bit skeptical because it looked busy, but once inside there was still plenty of room. We chose a spot in the alcove near the door, wonderfully relaxed. After we ordered drinks, a friendly lady brought it, but the table was not clean... I will arrange it for you and she wiped it clean. She said; "kindness costs nothing" and smiled at us with a wink. The start of a wonderful evening of enjoyment. The salad bar had a lot of choice and serving yourself also has its charm. Once at the table, the main course arrived shortly afterwards, tasty large plates with lots of meat. Neatly presented and served. We both had a desert and I had another coffee. It was soo delicious. We would love to come back again. I think it is a good initiative to take home what is not eaten with the customer. This is a sustainable solution to prevent waste.

Now the service was unfortunately a bit mixed, that is, the lady who showed us and others the place seemed a bit unfriendly. The other service staff were friendlier. Unfortunately something went wrong with the order and 4 orders turned into 2 and then completely wrong dishes. At least a round of free drinks was given. The food was delicious, but unfortunately not everything was as ordered on the second attempt. But it was so accepted that no one wanted to open a barrel. Now the restaurant itself is nice, even for overweight people you can sit. So far a lovely evening! Except for the mistake with the order!

Service extremely unfriendly. Table reserved, which was probably occupied. No communication about the current situation, after which we were left standing. After 5 minutes a waiter came back and simply nodded his head in a casual and unfriendly manner, meaning that we should follow him. He simply pointed to the table and let us sit for 15 minutes without a card. We now wanted to order food, but our order was not accepted because it was “not possible”, only drinks could be ordered and only then could you order food. What the hell?!

We were there on Wednesday, it's a "schnitzel day". The food was really excellent and of good quality. The following was ordered: a Jägerschnitzel, soup of the day, salad from the buffet, Schnitzel Hawaii, soup of the day, salad and a steak plate. The dishes were also visually very well implemented. The steak plate deserves special mention!!! The price/performance ratio is great! A clear recommendation.

The food was good. However, for the first time in our lives that we had food before drinks. We asked four times for a second drink only to be served after 45 minutes. If I hadn't met a friend that evening that I don't see that often, we would have left. We probably won't go there again.

The food was super good. Homemade soups, perfectly cooked steaks, homemade herb butter, delicious desserts are simply top notch. The staff was very friendly. We were there with a child and we were looked after very nicely and courteously. The ambience is a mix of modern and traditional design. A highlight is the “Bratort” where you can watch the chefs preparing the food through a window. The price/performance ratio is also top. You should definitely reserve in advance, especially on We. I'm already looking forward to my next visit there.

Wonderful! Shady place outside, service exceptionally attentive and correct, friendly anyway. In addition, large portions, delicious food, a large selection of dishes, reasonable prices - and opposite the forest parking lot, where you can tire your dog out. Our visit couldn't have been more perfect.

We ate there because of the good reviews and recommendations from friends. The restaurant is very attractive and the location is very nice. The service was very friendly. Unfortunately, there was a 50th birthday party there at the time and all the staff's attention was devoted to it. Conclusion: an order was only taken after Spat and empty glasses were ignored. The food came more than an hour after ordering. Now about the food. There is a really great and fresh salad buffet. My wife had the steak plate, which was very good, tasty and to the point. I had chosen the Stammtisch platter specifically because of the fried potatoes, but unfortunately they were an absolute disaster. They weren't strips or slices, but kind of triplets that were halved or quartered. but good. The bad thing was they were hard and almost raw, the onions were hard with a bite and the bacon wasn't even fried. It was anything but the classic fried potatoes you would expect. It's a shame for such a good first impression. Therefore minus because of service and food.

We were there on Sunday evening. The restaurant was very full, but we were seated immediately without a reservation. Before we even sat down, we already had the menu. We were there on Sunday lunchtime. The restaurant was full. The service couldn't keep up at all. We waited almost 2 hours for the food. The fries were raw and went back. The steaks were swapped. The waiter had very unfunny sayings; something like: here is your foreign soup and such nonsense. The service, the long waiting time and the sometimes really bad food...we won't be coming back.

I had buffet lunch here and it was the worst food I've ever had in a restaurant.
