We had dinner with friends last night. I was last at Haus Jägerspfad over 10 years ago and was pleasantly surprised by the new ambience. The food we ordered was served quickly and all four of us really enjoyed it. Only the service seemed a bit "disorganized", so we sometimes had to order our drinks at the counter. But I'd rather have excellent food and mediocre service than the other way around. We'll definitely be back

In our search for a suitable restaurant within walking distance of our accommodation, I selected this restaurant. I was a bit skeptical because it looked busy, but once inside there was still plenty of room. We chose a spot in the alcove near the door, wonderfully relaxed. After we ordered drinks, a friendly lady brought it, but the table was not clean... I will arrange it for you and she wiped it clean. She said; "kindness costs nothing" and smiled at us with a wink. The start of a wonderful evening of enjoyment. The salad bar had a lot of choice and serving yourself also has its charm. Once at the table, the main course arrived shortly afterwards, tasty large plates with lots of meat. Neatly presented and served. We both had a desert and I had another coffee. It was soo delicious. We would love to come back again. I think it is a good initiative to take home what is not eaten with the customer. This is a sustainable solution to prevent waste.

Now the service was unfortunately a bit mixed, that is, the lady who showed us and others the place seemed a bit unfriendly. The other service staff were friendlier. Unfortunately something went wrong with the order and 4 orders turned into 2 and then completely wrong dishes. At least a round of free drinks was given. The food was delicious, but unfortunately not everything was as ordered on the second attempt. But it was so accepted that no one wanted to open a barrel. Now the restaurant itself is nice, even for overweight people you can sit. So far a lovely evening! Except for the mistake with the order!

Service extremely unfriendly. Table reserved, which was probably occupied. No communication about the current situation, after which we were left standing. After 5 minutes a waiter came back and simply nodded his head in a casual and unfriendly manner, meaning that we should follow him. He simply pointed to the table and let us sit for 15 minutes without a card. We now wanted to order food, but our order was not accepted because it was “not possible”, only drinks could be ordered and only then could you order food. What the hell?!

We were there on Wednesday, it's a "schnitzel day". The food was really excellent and of good quality. The following was ordered: a Jägerschnitzel, soup of the day, salad from the buffet, Schnitzel Hawaii, soup of the day, salad and a steak plate. The dishes were also visually very well implemented. The steak plate deserves special mention!!! The price/performance ratio is great! A clear recommendation.

The food was very good. We had a starter and a main course, the portions were good. The dining room is very nice and modernly furnished. The only deduction is for the operation, which seemed a bit overwhelmed, something could be improved. We'd love to come back.

Unfortunately there is currently a construction site in front of the house.

The food was good. However, for the first time in our lives that we had food before drinks. We asked four times for a second drink only to be served after 45 minutes. If I hadn't met a friend that evening that I don't see that often, we would have left. We probably won't go there again.

The restaurant has been beautifully renovated and has a great ambience inside and on the terrace. It's also great that you can watch the chefs through a large window. The food was very tasty and good value for money. All in all a successful visit to the restaurant.

The food was super good. Homemade soups, perfectly cooked steaks, homemade herb butter, delicious desserts are simply top notch. The staff was very friendly. We were there with a child and we were looked after very nicely and courteously. The ambience is a mix of modern and traditional design. A highlight is the “Bratort” where you can watch the chefs preparing the food through a window. The price/performance ratio is also top. You should definitely reserve in advance, especially on We. I'm already looking forward to my next visit there.

Wonderful! Shady place outside, service exceptionally attentive and correct, friendly anyway. In addition, large portions, delicious food, a large selection of dishes, reasonable prices - and opposite the forest parking lot, where you can tire your dog out. Our visit couldn't have been more perfect.

We ate there because of the good reviews and recommendations from friends. The restaurant is very attractive and the location is very nice. The service was very friendly. Unfortunately, there was a 50th birthday party there at the time and all the staff's attention was devoted to it. Conclusion: an order was only taken after Spat and empty glasses were ignored. The food came more than an hour after ordering. Now about the food. There is a really great and fresh salad buffet. My wife had the steak plate, which was very good, tasty and to the point. I had chosen the Stammtisch platter specifically because of the fried potatoes, but unfortunately they were an absolute disaster. They weren't strips or slices, but kind of triplets that were halved or quartered. but good. The bad thing was they were hard and almost raw, the onions were hard with a bite and the bacon wasn't even fried. It was anything but the classic fried potatoes you would expect. It's a shame for such a good first impression. Therefore minus because of service and food.

We were there on Sunday lunchtime. The restaurant was full. The service couldn't keep up at all. We waited almost 2 hours for the food. The fries were raw and went back. The steaks were swapped. The waiter had very unfunny sayings; something like: here is your foreign soup and such nonsense. The service, the long waiting time and the sometimes really bad food...we won't be coming back.

I had buffet lunch here and it was the worst food I've ever had in a restaurant.

Simply good and delicious. Good quality at a good price. Also great for vegetarians. We will be back.

Unfortunately very bad service. Was there with a group. The waiter seemed very funny, said something about foreign chicken when taking the order and never missed an opportunity to make fun of orders for vegetarian dishes and make latent disparaging comments about them. Then it took a whole 1:45 hours to serve. Sorry, if I make a reservation for 1 p.m., it simply can't be that I don't get something to eat until 3 p.m. Quite a few of the group seriously considered canceling the order and leaving. Absolute highlight and embarrassing moment: serving a plate of salad with the words that the plate doesn't look that good but it tastes good. What was served as croquettes were actually duchess potatoes. Some of the fries were almost raw. But the meat was probably successful. Overall, the visit was unfortunately a disappointing experience for most of us.

Had dinner there yesterday for a birthday. Although there was a lack of space, this was quickly resolved. I have rarely eaten so well, the service was top, price/performance was very good.

Yesterday I was a guest at a big birthday party. Catering was not delivered without cancellation. Nobody can be reached either by phone or on site. The hosts were completely exhausted and the beautiful day was forgettable. Very dubious and many guests, like me, will avoid this house in the future...

Catering for 30 people for my father's 70th birthday was not delivered and there was no cancellation. So I can only advise against it.

Meiner Meinung nach war die Küche komplett überfordert. Wir haben extrem lange gewartet und dann waren die Rösti innen nicht mehr gefroren aber kalt. Im Geschnetzelten waren genau zwei Fleischstreifen was aber in der steifen Soße nur durch essen der Champignons zutage kam. Der Käse zum überbacken des Steaks empfand ich als fad und wenig geschmackvoll, leider. Das Steak war deutlich kleiner als ein 300g Steak bei der Konkurrenz.

After a very short time we received an answer that everything was going well. Went there in the evening and were very surprised. A very lovingly set table had been prepared for us. Really nice👌The food was great again, we ate steak (plenty and well fried) Keep it up! Until next time 👏. It should also be mentioned that the staff is always friendly and attentive. We had our rescheduled Christmas dinner with the company there on Friday. The food was delicious and the ambience was a 10/10. The service was very friendly and not too intrusive. We all really enjoyed the evening and would love to come back.

Very good, solid restaurant. Food was very tasty and plentiful. There was soup and salad from the buffet. The staff is very attentive to drinks and orders, so the "table lamps" are rather unnecessary. You can park easily nearby and opposite in the forest car park.

Good food all around. Even with our late arrival the salad bar was still fresh. Steaks were cooked exactly as ordered (Bleu, which not every chef can do well) however fries were overcooked and far too soggy inside. Service and atmosphere absolutely spot on.

Ich musste heute feststellen, dass ich zu lange nicht mehr dort war! Das Ambiente ist toll, sehr gemütlich und ein Mix aus Tradition und Moderne. Im Sommer lädt der gegenüber liegende Stadtwald zum spazieren und die Sonnenterrasse des Restaurants zum verweilen ein. Immer sehr freundliches und zuvorkommendes Personal. Beim Essen merkt man, dass der Koch seinen Job liebt! Außerdem stimmt hier das Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis! Freue mich schon auf den nächsten Besuch ❤️
