Brauhaus Peltzer - Schnitzelparadies in Eschweiler

Today we were at the Pelzer brewery. The conditions were very nice and also prepared for children (coloring pencils, I think also coloring books). The food was very tasty. I had a cream schnitzel xs (enough for me) with fries and salad. My partner a Jäger Schnitzel L. He couldn't finish the schnitzel. We heard the rest without question. We will visit the Bauhaus again and continue to teach it.

We made a detour from the Netherlands for the schnitzels. Those were delicious. Food was also tasty. Not subtle with the sauce. And the schnitzels were also large. We expected a large schnitzel, but the M was the same size as a 30cm pizza! Very friendly service too. We are not disappointed!

You have to experience it. The young waiters are on the ball, they don't miss anything. No empty glass, no searching look. They come quickly and help. The food is fantastic.

So I waited for 2 hours until they brought my food. The food is completely normal, I don't understand why it takes two hours if they are not hunting animals. They even gave food to the people who came after me. Not even an apology or anything. Will never come here again. Please, if you are hungry and looking for a good place, go somewhere else. Even when we went to place our order they made us stand in the middle while we chatted. Terrible and worst experience. I've never seen such incompetent people. Please go. Your pictures are from 5 years ago, don't trust them. I even doubt anyone who waited that long would give it 5 stars. I also saw other people commenting that they waited so long. Don't trust the reviews. In response to your comment, I came from far away (and I will never come again). I came to the restaurant thanks to the reviews, but now I will never trust it, I have learned my lesson. When your food is so fresh and specially made, it's normal for people to come and if you can't handle it then it's an organizational problem. And why you didn't even confront the situation, you just left us waiting in hunger. Not even told us it would take long. The staff asked us if everything tasted good after we got our food, but have you ever apologized for the food being late? We paid so much for this (with proof), no apology, not even a kind gesture for us... that's really a nice thing to apologize for just as soon as I posted it online. And about your comment about “ready and quick meals” – that’s just disrespectful. Waiting for two hours without information or an apology has nothing to do with quality and everything to do with poor organization. If your food is taking that long, tell customers in advance, at least offer them a drink as an apology, or just own up to your mistake. Good restaurants are characterized not only by the freshness of the dishes, but also by the respect they show to their guests. And you clearly lack that. And yes, it's true, if you round up generously, then 30 minutes is of course equal to two hours.

We visited here for the first time today and were very impressed by the warm atmosphere and excellent service. Although there was a small wait, we completely understand that a fresh, carefully prepared meal is worth this small delay. The schnitzel in particular was excellent and really fresh, and the staff was always friendly and helpful. We are sure we will come back and will definitely recommend it to friends and family. A big compliment to Brauhaus Peltzer for the quality and service! We look forward to the next visit.

Today I visited the Peltzer brewery again and, as always, I was completely satisfied! I ordered the schnitzel, which was simply outstanding – crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside and served with fresh, delicious sides. The quality of the food is always excellent, and that's exactly why I like to come here again and again. I'm already looking forward to my next visit!

Friendly staff, and it was delicious! I had a medium-sized schnitzel with a Balkan sauce, if you know what I mean.

Spontaneously found it here on Google and it's a really great brewery that really justifies the great reviews. Even without a reservation, six of us got a place on Sunday evening and were given a very warm welcome. The food was also freshly prepared and very tasty. The portions are more than sufficient even in the normal versions. The XXXL schnitzels were very popular at the neighboring tables. For us it was classic brewery dishes. The service was really top and if we are in the area again we will definitely come back!

The noise at the back resembled a fair. Thank God the service staff offered us a quieter place in the front counter area that was more pleasant.

Service was very friendly. The vegetarian stir fry was greasy and tasteless. Little to no seasoning. Rump steak was really tasty, the schnitzels were delicious according to the others. The fried potatoes were cold and had no taste. The fries were not fried all the way through and there was little to no salt. We also waited 1.25 hours for our food. My first impression will also be my last. Nevertheless, I wish you all the best

It is a really nice Brauhaus. The schnitzel is good, but the breading of the meat could be drier, it was a little greasy. The side dishes were super well prepared. What is really nice is that you can choose the size of your schnitzel, from small to giant. The staff is really friendly.

Absolute insider tip! I've never had such a huge schnitzel before, and it was very tasty. I can only recommend 10 out of 10 points to everyone!!

Good food at slightly higher prices

Very tasty schnitzel, but I didn't expect the schnitzel to be so big. I came here alone and ordered size L. This schnitzel was enough for 2 people. The Holsteiner Schnitzel is prepared with eggs, baked onions and you can also use, for example, fries or fried potatoes. The taste was also very good, one of the best schnitzels I've had. And I could enjoy that again the next day.

The best brewery in the region! One evening we had a few deficiencies in the food, and the problem was addressed in order to find a solution, also by the boss! The portions - mega! And everything about it, from the ambience to the price, is wonderful! We keep coming back.

We've been there twice and they are the best schnitzels in the area. There are always two delicious side dishes. You will definitely be full. Even the schnitzel “S” is really big enough. We would love to come back here forever.

Good food, reasonable prices and lots and lots of food

We had a lovely evening at the Peltzer brewery among three men. All the employees, including the boss, were very attentive and always had a smile. Keep it up... Thank you for the lovely evening.

We were eating with 8 people and had to give my steak back because it wasn't cooked through... It was just a shame that I got the same steak back... But it was done... Service was top and I even got a drink on the house... That's why only 4 stars for the food because the same steak was put in the pan again. The fries could have been crispy...food came very quickly after ordering...We felt comfortable...Will be back

The food was very tasty and the portions were huge. It's better to think smaller, especially when it comes to schnitzels. I was a size M. And definitely too much, even though I can get a lot of it down. If you are here in Eschfeld, a visit here is highly recommended

More impressive than the size of the schnitzels are the taste and quality. The food comes to the table at the same time for everyone. In terms of price, every brown fried snack schnitzel is relatively more expensive. Highly recommended!

The Braushaus Peltzer is dedicated to schnitzel, sizes from XS to XXL await you. The M variant should be more than enough for the average eater. Prices are high, the ambience is functional, at least in the large hall. Service is friendly and courteous and individual requests from guests are also taken into account. The schnitzel in my photo is M

First time eating there. Very friendly staff! Food was freshly prepared. The schnitzel table is something for gladiators :-D Size 2 with sauce for a grown man is my recommendation. Size 3 of 5 only as Viennese style, without sauce. Anything beyond that is for aliens :-) Keep it up. We'd love to come back!

Extremely attentive service staff. We were a group of 7 people and had reserved. At the beginning we were offered a table in the back room. It's all ok. After a while the boss came to the table and offered us to take another table in the front dining room, as the volume of the larger group seated next to us was already not quiet. (acoustics of the room) We were very pleased with this offer. The food was very delicious and the atmosphere was well maintained. Despite the busyness, there was a friendly, fun atmosphere created by the boss :-). We'd love to come back :-) Note: The acoustic problem is now being addressed. Here too - extremely customer-oriented service with a feel-good character :-) *****

There are schnitzels in different sizes here. Luckily I chose size xs, which corresponds to a normal schnitzel. The others would have been far too much for me. The food was very tasty. One star deducted because a small corner of my schnitzel was tough and stringy. But I'll be happy to come back when I'm in the area again.

The Peltzer brewery is known in the region for sumptuous schnitzels and varied sauces. The side dishes are also very tasty and if you don't get full here it's your own fault ;-) the service was very nice and the atmosphere in the shop is very rustic. We'd love to come back.

Only recommended!!!! If you like to eat well and eat a lot, this is the right place for you. Schnitzel sizes from xs - xxxl are the order of the day here, although I have to say that xs is enough for the ladies😅. Otherwise, it's no problem taking it with you afterwards. Quality: Very high quality food. We were very satisfied.

Their schnitzels are legendary! The schnitzels are available here in all imaginable sizes and designs. Simply a must. A tourist attraction of national value.

Had dinner there with a large group. Everyone was happy with the food they ordered. Quality is good and large portions too. Depending on the size of the schnitzel, the prices are still reasonable. The staff were very friendly. We had two different schnitzel dishes. My side dishes were rice and broccoli and both were completely overcooked and had no salt in the cooking water. The schnitzel was well... without the sauce it wouldn't have tasted like anything. My husband had a schnitzel with mushrooms and onions, bacon beans and croquettes. The onions and mushrooms were almost black and tasted bitter. The bacon beans were over salted. Conclusion: We won't eat there again. I mentioned the problems to the waiter and they gave us €10 for the bill, but we still paid €40 for the meal. Not recommended 👎

An absolute MUST in Eschweiler. Nobody goes home hungry here. Very busy, luckily we got a table for 2😀...that's why it's better to reserve in advance.

The staff are very friendly, in a good mood and always have a joke on their faces. The food tastes great and there is something for everyone. The portions are really amazing and the sizes are very generous. The restaurant is comfortably furnished and the toilets are very clean. If we are in the area again, we will definitely come back. The concept fits. Brauhaus with exactly the right cuisine and menu. Main focus on schnitzel. Free choice of side dishes. Including fried potatoes, fries, cauliflower, broad beans, etc. Everything very well prepared. As a marketing idea, schnitzel in different sizes, from small to XXL. Personal warning: I consider myself a good eater and was completely full after the schnitzel in "L"!!! Praise to the waitresses: everyone is super friendly across the board and tries to make you feel comfortable. And that succeeded. Thank you for your hospitality!

The blast!!! I talked for hours with my table neighbors during a Rose Monday procession and when the conversation turned to friends of mine from Namibia who were taking part in the procession, it turned out that they were the in-laws of my boss in a Bonn authority. 🤣🤣🤣 The world is so small!

My visit to this restaurant on April 27, 2024 was extremely disappointing. The unfriendly and pushy boss seemed to have little interest in my satisfaction. The waiters were inattentive and seemed more concerned with smoking than caring for the guests. My wishes were ignored and the background noise in the kitchen due to the music being too loud was unbearable. Overall, a disappointing experience that I will not repeat.

If you want schnitzel, then here... But not XXL, very few people can do that... good service, delicious 😋 food and plenty of it

This is the third time we have come here, The food is really great, so far I haven't had a piece of schnitzel in my mouth that didn't taste good, not a string, not a tough piece The boss ?!
