Very nice employees. Fast service and of course very tasty schnitzel. We ordered Holstein Art, Men's Art and Wiener Schnitzel in size S, which is completely sufficient. Highly recommended. If schnitzel then go to Peltzer in Eschweiler

The staff are very friendly, in a good mood and always have a joke on their faces. The food tastes great and there is something for everyone. The portions are really amazing and the sizes are very generous. The restaurant is comfortably furnished and the toilets are very clean. If we are in the area again, we will definitely come back. The concept fits. Brauhaus with exactly the right cuisine and menu. Main focus on schnitzel. Free choice of side dishes. Including fried potatoes, fries, cauliflower, broad beans, etc. Everything very well prepared. As a marketing idea, schnitzel in different sizes, from small to XXL. Personal warning: I consider myself a good eater and was completely full after the schnitzel in "L"!!! Praise to the waitresses: everyone is super friendly across the board and tries to make you feel comfortable. And that succeeded. Thank you for your hospitality!

My visit to this restaurant on April 27, 2024 was extremely disappointing. The unfriendly and pushy boss seemed to have little interest in my satisfaction. The waiters were inattentive and seemed more concerned with smoking than caring for the guests. My wishes were ignored and the background noise in the kitchen due to the music being too loud was unbearable. Overall, a disappointing experience that I will not repeat.

The blast!!! I talked for hours with my table neighbors during a Rose Monday procession and when the conversation turned to friends of mine from Namibia who were taking part in the procession, it turned out that they were the in-laws of my boss in a Bonn authority. 🤣🤣🤣 The world is so small!

Great schnitzels at a fair price

Yesterday we ate a schnitzel while passing through, it was already quite full when we arrived, we were taken to our place, and a short time later we were given the menu. There were other dishes too, but I can only remember the schnitzel. The first question we asked ourselves was how heavy is a schnitzel size S, which is the smallest size here😱. We asked and the answer was 360 grams 🙈. Afterwards we ordered our food, the schnitzel, the side dishes were delicious (you can choose two toppings for each schnitzel), you could eat it well. And I would eat it again at any time. All in all, the price is right here and the service is very friendly. Thumbs up👍

We visited Monschau today and after a while we got hungry. The local restaurants were too touristy for us. So we looked on the internet and found the Peltzer brewery. After a quick look at the rating, we knew we had to go there. Since we come from Cologne, it was still on our way home. The schnitzels are excellent, well-kept drinks and super nice hospitality. From Cologne to Eschweiler is just a stone's throw. Today is not every day, we will be back, no question.

We ended up here on the recommendation of a colleague. ... and what should I say? ... a real paradise for schnitzel fans! There are schnitzels from S to XXL... ours is an impressive 300g. We girls shared a schnitzel L... about 700g. The gentleman had chosen a Schnitzel S for himself. The schnitzels always come with a choice of two side dishes... we had fried potatoes and broccoli. I would have liked the former to be a little crispier and the latter a little crunchier. But the schnitzel was absolutely perfect. Thin, tender and because we asked for the cream sauce separately, the breading wasn't too soft either. The service was friendly. Unfortunately it took over an hour before the food arrived. But well... the place was pretty full. ... and that on a normal Wednesday ... it seems to be known that there is good, down-to-earth food here. The atmosphere is that of a pub. Card payment works. We'll definitely come back.

Unfortunately the waiting times were very long at almost 2 hours. But understandable if there is a high volume. I would rather have more waiting time but good food. I have to mention your bacon beans,,,,, they are simply amazing, they would be absolutely amazing. But unfortunately there was a problem and we were charged 6 euros for water from the next table and 2.20 euros for a pilsner. Unfortunately, we only discovered this later and accepted it. Family get-together on March 16, 2024 The schnitzel paradise is rightly named 👍 The table was pre-ordered for 13 people and everything was set up. The service was on the ball and pleasantly friendly ☺️ (Not always a given) Drinks and food were served quickly. The food has improved compared to previous years, but this is not the case. But for many people, even the size 'S' schnitzel is so big that you can have something packed up and taken with you for the next day. The children's portions are decent and everyone was full. A big + for us as a family with 4 children is that something was immediately laid out for them to paint and play on and a separate table was provided for the kids to keep busy. Big praise for that. At the end we were able to enjoy a nightcap with the staff🍺 We would be happy to come back to you and hope that you will maintain the quality you offer.

We had dinner there with four people in the early afternoon on Sunday. As soon as we walked in, the employee was extremely hospitable and service-oriented. After the drinks were served, the food didn't take long to arrive, exceptionally quickly. There's no need for many words about the food itself, see for yourself. We were happy with the taste and quality. Price/performance match here. Thank you for the delicious food and the good hospitality. Absolute recommendation. 👍🏻

Absolutely deserves the 5 stars! You say quality or quantity... you would have to adapt here and say quality AND quantity because the schnitzels, no matter what size you order, are always top! The meat is tender, the breading is crispy and the schnitzel is fluffy and super tasty! The service is exactly what you want: Attentive, quick, present and super personable, always with a smile on her face. You feel welcome and very comfortable. Cleanliness is very important and it shows. Both the guest room and the toilets are sparkling clean! A company or family celebration is also not an issue! A large room at the back offers space for a large group - there were just under 35 of us - (easily fits 50-60 people in total) to sit down and have a good time together. There is also the option to have a buffet. There is always a regular and sufficient increase. Pork and chicken schnitzel, broccoli, cauliflower, beans with bacon and onions, fries, salad, various sauces and dressings were also at the start! CONCLUSION: If you want to eat really good, big schnitzels in a great location with great service at a good, fair price, you MUST definitely come by here!

Your schnitzel is delicious, but your prices are too high - even more so are the dishes next to the schnitzel. Cordon Bleu over 30 euros, a salad over 20 euros, sauce as a side dish e.g. Hollandaise over 5 euros! This has nothing to do with “being able to afford”. This is Dürener Strasse in Eschweiler and not Maximilianstrasse in Munich. It may be that your quality is good, but this is also the case in many other traditional restaurants, for example in Cologne. Lower your prices by around 15% and there will be significantly more good reviews. It's well-intentioned, think about it again... All the best and continued success!

Current recession: At first I almost fell off my chair, but here you're looking at around €33 for a large M schnitzel and around €39 for a L. Is the price of the menu justified? No. The schnitzel tasted good, but the fries were rather lukewarm and after a short time cold and inedible. The bacon in bacon beans tasted burnt. The service was only seen once at the beginning, after which you sat there with an empty glass. The order took almost 45 minutes at medium capacity. Electronic music as entertainment was also out of place here. The table decoration sometimes like this, sometimes like that and not really harmonious. Unfortunately I have to say, this was our last visit here as the price/performance ratio is no longer suitable. Recession from 4 years ago (3 stars): We saved on the fries here, a small bowl for 2 people. Cold bacon beans and a miniature salad on the side which arrived very late. Rattling chairs because you save on felt gliders. However, the schnitzel was very tasty. All in all, things were better here.

Despite their size, the schnitzels are very juicy and the breading is nice and crispy. Above all, the sauce is not skimped on here and there is a good selection of side dishes! A very good address for schnitzel fans, but the vegetarian dishes were also delicious. We were served very quickly and friendly and all of our wishes were taken into account. You can ask yourself about high prices, but then you have to deliver. That is no longer the case here. No matter what happened before.

Dieses Restaurant überzeugt auf ganzer Linie! Die gemütliche Atmosphäre schafft eine einladende Stimmung. Das Essen ist nicht nur sehr lecker, sondern die Portionen sind regelrecht gigantisch. Ein kulinarisches Erlebnis, das definitiv fünf Sterne verdient!

Ach was war es hier früher schön! Regelmäßig waren wir hier, aber der letzte Besuch bleibt auch der Letzte! Bei der Preisexplosion und Verminderung der Qualität möchte ich hier kein Gast mehr bleiben! Die Schnitzel sind mittlerweile so dünn das man Zeitung dadurch lesen kann, der Preis hingegen geht durch die Decke. Lecker wars, aber Wert wars das nicht! Ich respektiere Preisanpassungen durch die gestiegene MwSt, aber für ein kleines (Größe S) Championrahmschnitzel knappe 29€ oder für ein großes Sprudel 5€ zu verlangen grenzt an Wucher!

Riesenschnitzel, fantastisch gezapftes Bier, aber eben Geschmackssache. Im Januar 2024 wieder besucht, war etwas enttäuscht über das Schnitzel, es war äußerst dünn, es war das M Schnitzel welches genauso schwer war wie das S Schnitzel. Das M Schnitzel war dafür doppelt so groß in der Fläche. Die Lokalität ist aber immer noch super, aber nicht mehr günstig!

Leider muss ich meine vorherige Bewertung korrigieren… waren letzte Woche dort, Preise meines Erachtens nicht dem Essen angemessen… Saucen waren früher ausreichend, heute leider zu wenig… Wir bestellten 4 Essen, wovon 2 trotz korrekter Bestellung mit den falschen Beilagen kamen & leider auch verspätet so das ein gemeinsames Essen nicht wirklich zu Stande kam…Ich werde die Gaststätte wsl nicht mehr aufsuchen… Danke für ihre Antwort, wenn ihr Service dir von uns angefragt Änderung von Spätzle auf Pommes nicht weiter gibt, sollten sie dies in ihrer Antwort auch berücksichtigen…

Wir waren schon mehrmals hier essen. Der Empfang war freundlich und die Kellner sind aufmerksam. Die Schnitzel sind riesig und das Fleisch ist qualitativ sehr gut und es schmeckt. Da ich persönlich kaum Fleisch esse, habe ich die Käsespätzle gegessen, sehr lecker! Für eine Person würden wir ein S Schnitzel empfehlen. Sollten die Augen dennoch größer als der Magen sein, kann man sich den Rest einpacken lassen.

Waren in einer großen Gruppe dort. Die Sitzplätze waren zu eng gestellt. Übrige Stühle standen an den Seitenwänden und waren ständig im Weg. Das Essen zum Festtag war vorbestellt, dennoch kam es leider nicht zuverlässig und mit längerer Wartezeit. Wir waren daher über zwei Stunden dort, die meiste Zeit haben wir auf Essen gewartet. Was für mich garnicht ging war, dass die Kinder teils zuletzt die Teller bekamen. Wir mussten wiederholt daraufhinweisen, dass noch Speisen fehlten. Von einem gemeinsamen Essen hatten wir wenig, trotz der großen Portion. Immerhin klappte es mit den Getränken ohne Probleme und auch die Rechnung hat am Ende gestimmt. Jene 3 Erwachsene aus der Gruppe, die am längsten warten mussten, bekamen ihr Essen aufs Haus. Preislich finde ich das Restaurant zu hoch. Kleinere Portionen und Preise wären nett. Ein Kinderteller für 10 Euro ist zu viel und die Portionsgrößen sind für Kinder viel zu riesig und entsprechen eher einer Erwachsenen-Portion. Die Nachbartische wurden zwischenzeitlich für neue Gruppen zurecht gestellt. Für mich hat das das festliche Ambiente etwas angeknackst. Für mein Empfinden war es eine mittelmäßige Leistung und für Weihnachten zu wenig.

Wir waren jetzt das zweite Mal dort mit einer großen Gruppe. das Essen ist qualitativ in Ordnung, letztes Jahr war es jedoch noch ein wenig besser. Auch die Portionen waren im vergangenen Jahr größer. Leider liefen ein paar Sachen bei dem servierten Essen schief, hier und da fehlten Beilagen. Bei zwei Personen fehlte das Essen komplett. Der Service hat das schnell behoben, jedoch trotzdem ein wenige ärgerlich! Alles in allem gehen wir dort gerne hin. Das Essen ist qualitativ gut und große Gruppen sind willkommen.

Wir waren gestern nochmal im Brauhaus Peltzer essen. Nach dem ersten Blick in die Speisekarte war ich etwas schockiert. Die Preise haben sich fast verdoppelt! Mein Schnitzel war dann so platt geklopft, dass ich mehr Panade als Schnitzel auf dem Teller hatte. Habe ich so hier noch nicht erlebt. Für uns har sich das wohl dann erledigt, sorry.

Um es vorweg zu sagen: Wir waren positiv überrascht. Die Qualität und der Geschmack des Essens war top. Die Portionen riesig. Als wir da waren war es sehr voll (reservieren!) und wir haben über 30min auf das Essen gewartet. Aber lieber so, als Essen was nicht schmeckt. Wer also Zeit hat und gerne Schnitzel mag ist hier sehr gut aufgehoben

After visiting the Aachen Christmas market, we wanted to end the day with a good old traditional Schnitzel. A friend of mine living in Aachen recommended a few places in the city center, but "if you have a car, you should definitely go to Peltzer!". As I already ate a Bratwurst at the market, I wanted to be modest and order a S size Schnitzel, and even that one was huge! The quality of the meat and crust was great, but I was most of all impressed by the Speckbohnen (beans with bacon) as a side dish. A member of our group was brave enough to take a size L Schnitzel, but couldn't finish it. The waiter was kind enough to wrap the leftovers for him. 10/10 for food, traditional atmosphere and service!

Ich war vor ein paar Jahren mal da und ist mir gut in Erinnerung geblieben, deswegen sind wir dann noch mal in einer großen Gruppe dahin und wurden enttäuscht. Der Service war echt mies, auf das Essen haben wir knapp 1 ½ Std gewartet. Das essen kam und mussten dann erst mal auf das Besteck warten, weil es noch Gespült werden musste. So was darf nicht passieren!!! Kommen wir zum Essen. Durch die Bank weg waren so gut wie alle Essen versalzen Die Soße vom Pfefferschnitzel hat geschmeckt wie Spülmittel und es kommt so rüber als käme alles aus einem Riesen Eimer wo die Soßen nur warm gemacht werden. Für die Preise die aufgerufen werden kann man auch zu einer Fast Food Kette gehen. Sorry aber nie wieder

Ich mach es kurz und knapp. Schnitzel waren lecker, die Beilagen allerdings unterirdisch. Speckbohen waren teilweise versalzen, Käsespätzler verkocht in eine Sahnesoße mit einem hauch Käse, Pommes ungenießbar und die Soßen geschmacksneutral. Sehr schade !

Preise wie beim Michelin Stern Blumenkohl wie Wasser noch nichtmals ein Hauch Muskatnuss Getränke schon LANGE leer, Personal zeigt uns an...Moment ich es schnell auf dann komme ich sofort Kakao aus Wasser Cordon bleu 25 € = 50 DM 🤦🏻‍♀️ Große Schnitzel 40 € = 80 DM 🤦🏻‍♀️ Käse Spätzle in sahnesauce völlig verkocht mit nem bisschen käse. ABSOLUT NICHT EMPFEHLENSWERT
