My girlfriend and I eat there regularly. We're always thrilled and have never been disappointed. The premises are very clean, including the restrooms. The staff is very friendly. I can't understand the bad reviews. And if I'm a vegetarian, I don't go to the schnitzel house.

Absolutely delicious. The price was perfectly reasonable. Parking was okay. I'd gladly come back again.

An XS schnitzel is the size of a regular schnitzel from other restaurants. The meat is always very tender and the sauces are very tasty. The premises, including the restrooms, are charmingly decorated and very clean. The staff is always very friendly.

The portions here are absolutely amazing 😋... unbelievable amount 😍... it's pricey, but it's worth it... For average people, S or M is plenty. 😅... L, XL,... are really for people who can eat a ton... All the side dishes are great ❣️. Tip: order vegetables and salad... you won't be able to finish the fries and potatoes 😅

Today we ate there, and the food was, as always, fantastic. The staff was very attentive and friendly, so everything was as usual ❤️ However, I have to mention something negative that I find completely unacceptable: dogs are allowed in the dining area. As part of a group of 10, I took a seat at this restaurant. Despite it being Boxing Day, the restaurant was less than half full by evening. We waited over 15 minutes for a menu, with the explanation that essentially meant, "There are guests in the dining room who are ordering all the menus." After ordering drinks, it took another 10 minutes or so for them to arrive. Half an hour after our arrival, we were finally able to order our food, which arrived 45 minutes later. In total, it took 1 hour and 15 minutes for every dish and drink to be served. Besides various schnitzels, the appetizers included cucumber salad, Käsespätzle (cheese spaetzle), and broccoli/cauliflower with a crispy coating. The cucumber salad was quite sour, but—along with the beer—turned out to be a highlight. The Käsespätzle were swimming in a tasteless, very greasy cheese and cream sauce. Due to the lack of stringy bits, I suspect it was a cream-based, imitation cheese sauce with bouillon powder. Since I returned my meal, I had the opportunity to try the other dishes. The broccoli and cauliflower stir-fry I mentioned had clearly never seen a crispy coating. It was frozen vegetables drenched in what appeared to be a hollandaise-style sauce, served on a bed of potatoes, and lightly gratinated. Anyone ordering rice will quickly be reminded of boil-in-a-bag rice, which, admittedly, was grainy, but—like everything else—very bland. The impression of convenience products permeated every dish, from the schnitzel to the sauces. The typical pounding of schnitzel is nowhere to be found here. Admittedly, the staff was friendly and accommodating. My returned dish was canceled after I repeatedly asked if I wanted something else. However, detailed feedback was rejected with the comment, in essence: "If they just didn't like it..."

We went there for lunch with colleagues. We had pre-ordered our food, and everything went very quickly. The service was very nice and friendly. We'll gladly come again.

We ordered two schnitzels plus sides for takeaway. We chose fries, fried potatoes, and broad beans as sides. Everything was ready within 30 minutes! The service at the counter was friendly, but that's where the positives end. Once home, we opened the well-packaged dishes and were quite surprised. Schnitzel number 1, size S, consisted of a maximum of 100g of meat; the rest was cheap breading. Most of the schnitzel was barely 2mm thick. You could see right through it. The Diavola sauce was in lumpy chunks, inedible. The fries were soggy and tasteless. The fried potatoes were edible, but not great either. For almost €25, it was an absolute rip-off! Schnitzel number 2, size XS, was a little smaller than the S, but certainly the same weight. The extra-spicy sauce was also a complete lumpy mess. All in all, absolutely inedible! Conclusion: It's a shame the weather station is closed on Saturdays, and it's a shame the Burghof had a large order, meaning delivery/collection would only be possible at a later date. Option 3, the Peltzer brewery, unfortunately can't even come close to the two aforementioned options! Never again, 1000%!

I hadn't eaten there for a year because the last dish I had wasn't good. I ordered a schnitzel with spicy Diavolo sauce again. Unfortunately, the sauce was very dry, almost like mush. It wasn't spicy at all, but rather bland and tasteless. Not recommended for the price. It's a shame, it used to be really good.

The schnitzels are okay and huge. You can choose two free side dishes. The sauces, however, are pre-made from a packet. Horrible. For the price, they should put more effort into it.

We were there today for my 14-year-old son's birthday and absolutely loved it. The kids were allowed to choose their seats, and there was a special treat for dessert. So nice! We'd love to go again!

Sometimes you have to drive a little further to try something different. This morning I was craving a Cordon Bleu, and I thought, "This is where you get it..." An estimated 500 grams of delicious, juicy meat, filled with tasty cheese and ham. We got to choose the dressing, along with excellent fried potatoes (I skip fries in Germany) and a nice, fresh side salad. I saw a Schnitzel size M go by, but it didn't fit on the plate. They have five schnitzel sizes here, from XS to XXL. This is highly recommended! By the way, I haven't even finished half of my Cordon Bleu. Neatly packaged, we'll get another Cordon Bleu tomorrow 😉

It's become very expensive, and the food isn't what it used to be. Smaller portions, schnitzel was extremely thin, and fried potatoes were very greasy. Plates had corners sticking out. For me, the last visit was a complete no-go.

My wife and I went to eat at the “Schnitzel-Paradies” in Eschweiler today. I ordered the XXL schnitzel with mushrooms and onions. So XXL really means huge. I can eat a lot but that was my final opponent. And yet the schnitzel was super tender and simply delicious. The food is definitely worth every cent. The waitresses were super nice and always friendly. The friendly waiters packed up what we couldn't get right away. So we will come again.

You should be able to hold back because the M schnitzels are already very large, but you can go two sizes larger if you want to try it

Today we were at the Pelzer brewery. The conditions were very nice and also prepared for children (coloring pencils, I think also coloring books). The food was very tasty. I had a cream schnitzel xs (enough for me) with fries and salad. My partner a Jäger Schnitzel L. He couldn't finish the schnitzel. We heard the rest without question. We will visit the Bauhaus again and continue to teach it.

We made a detour from the Netherlands for the schnitzels. Those were delicious. Food was also tasty. Not subtle with the sauce. And the schnitzels were also large. We expected a large schnitzel, but the M was the same size as a 30cm pizza! Very friendly service too. We are not disappointed!

So I waited for 2 hours until they brought my food. The food is completely normal, I don't understand why it takes two hours if they are not hunting animals. Don't trust the reviews. In response to your comment, I came from far away (and I will never come again). I came to the restaurant thanks to the reviews, but now I will never trust it, I have learned my lesson. When your food is so fresh and specially made, it's normal for people to come and if you can't handle it then it's an organizational problem. And why you didn't even confront the situation, you just left us waiting in hunger. Not even told us it would take long. The staff asked us if everything tasted good after we got our food, but have you ever apologized for the food being late? We paid so much for this (with proof), no apology, not even a kind gesture for us... that's really a nice thing to apologize for just as soon as I posted it online. And about your comment about “ready and quick meals” – that’s just disrespectful. Waiting for two hours without information or an apology has nothing to do with quality and everything to do with poor organization. If your food is taking that long, tell customers in advance, at least offer them a drink as an apology, or just own up to your mistake. Good restaurants are characterized not only by the freshness of the dishes, but also by the respect they show to their guests. And you clearly lack that. And yes, it's true, if you round up generously, then 30 minutes is of course equal to two hours.

We visited here for the first time today and were very impressed by the warm atmosphere and excellent service. Although there was a small wait, we completely understand that a fresh, carefully prepared meal is worth this small delay. The schnitzel in particular was excellent and really fresh, and the staff was always friendly and helpful. We are sure we will come back and will definitely recommend it to friends and family. Today I visited the Peltzer brewery again and, as always, I was completely satisfied! I ordered the schnitzel, which was simply outstanding – crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside and served with fresh, delicious sides. The quality of the food is always excellent, and that's exactly why I like to come here again and again. I'm already looking forward to my next visit!

Spontaneously found it here on Google and it's a really great brewery that really justifies the great reviews. Even without a reservation, six of us got a place on Sunday evening and were given a very warm welcome. The food was also freshly prepared and very tasty. The portions are more than sufficient even in the normal versions. The XXXL schnitzels were very popular at the neighboring tables. For us it was classic brewery dishes. The service was really top and if we are in the area again we will definitely come back!

The noise at the back resembled a fair. Thank God the service staff offered us a quieter place in the front counter area that was more pleasant.

It is a really nice Brauhaus. The schnitzel is good, but the breading of the meat could be drier, it was a little greasy. The side dishes were super well prepared. What is really nice is that you can choose the size of your schnitzel, from small to giant. The staff is really friendly.

Good food at slightly higher prices

Very tasty schnitzel, but I didn't expect the schnitzel to be so big. I came here alone and ordered size L. This schnitzel was enough for 2 people. The Holsteiner Schnitzel is prepared with eggs, baked onions and you can also use, for example, fries or fried potatoes. The taste was also very good, one of the best schnitzels I've had. And I could enjoy that again the next day.
