If you like schnitzel, you will find it here. Service very friendly, portions large, really large, atmosphere is appealing, parking a bit difficult, I estimate reservation for a weekend at 2-3 weeks in advance, certainly a few days within the week. The price is also absolutely reasonable.

We have ordered a few times since Corona. A bit expensive, but pretty good food. Recently, however, it has been taking half an hour to get an answer as to whether the order has been accepted or not. The crispy Chrunchy Fries have become ordinary fries. And now they sell a bechamel sauce as a cream sauce, sorry that can't be serious. The success and the many positive reviews seem to have gone to your head. In the future we'll think twice about going out for a real meal for the money.

Very disappointing at the end... Be careful when reserving! A few weeks ago I reserved a table for 20 people in advance. (I specifically asked on the phone whether I could give the exact number again the day before we came - no problem!) Unfortunately we were reduced to 12 the day before... I immediately announced this by phone. A super nice young man answered the phone and passed on this information, the lady in the background was pretty angry about it and made statements like “she was supposed to call a few days ago!” This was never discussed and I specifically asked if I could call a day in advance. On the day itself, unfortunately there were only eight of us left. At the end one of us wanted to pay and we were told they would come to our table. I, who had reserved the table, was then called to the counter and informed that I would have to pay a flat rate of €25 PER PERSON for every four people who didn't show up! With the argument that it was bought for us. Nonsense! We weren't asked whether we were coming for a schnitzel meal, whether we just wanted to have a drink, or whether we were a vegetarian group. ;-) therefore a completely absurd argument! Nothing about it was ever mentioned in any of the phone calls or on the homepage! For a moment I was completely shocked. After speaking to the boss for 20 minutes, who remained very friendly despite the situation, we were able to find an appropriate solution for all of us. However, I am absolutely speechless about it. Our evening was over after that. The waitress who occasionally served us also became incredibly rude towards us. Ultimately... What absolutely speaks for the restaurant was that we were allowed to decorate the table ourselves. The young man who served us was also very friendly!!! :-) The food was also always good there. However, I am absolutely shocked by this event. We order there regularly and enjoy eating there too. But unfortunately that gave us a completely different feeling of “well-being”.

The food was very tasty and attractively prepared. The ambience is beautifully and warmly designed and conveys a cozy atmosphere. The staff is very patient, courteous and fulfilled all requests in a reasonable time. The restaurant is highly recommended and I will eat there again.

You feel welcome from the first moment in the Haus Hochstein restaurant. The owner is incredibly kind and warm, which immediately creates a pleasant atmosphere. The service is also excellent - friendly, courteous and always trying to ensure that the guests don't miss anything. The quality of the food is particularly noteworthy. The food is not only fresh, but also extremely tasty. The turkey steak is tender and excellently prepared, as are the schnitzels, which taste simply delicious. The ingredients are obviously fresh and prepared with great attention to detail. Overall, a restaurant that we would happily recommend – not just because of the great food, but also because of the warm hospitality. You'll be happy to come back here!

I have to praise this restaurant again highly! The food is incredibly delicious and after the renovation it is very comfortable to sit in. But what is always most important to me is the friendliness and the service and that is A1. The team is absolutely dog-friendly and we always enjoy coming with our Bruno. 😍 We simply order home too often because the food always arrives super crispy. I have no idea how you do it 😂😍👌 we can do it more often!

We had dinner there on Sunday with 18 people. The service had everything under control. However, you notice the waiters/women. Your understandable stress. A little calmness would leave a friendlier impression. To eat. All very good. Great, delicious schnitzels in all variations. But everyone also enjoyed the other dishes. My starter, the garlic bread, was a very good start. For my main course I had the Black Forest Schnitzel. Highly recommended. It's nice that there are Pülleken on tap here. 😁😁👍🏽👍🏽. The service is extremely friendly and accommodating, the food is delicious. The portions are impressive to excessively large. You can choose between normal and large portions, although the normal portions are anything but normal. A smaller selection would be more customer-friendly. Many guests take the leftovers with them. But since not only the amount of meat but also the side dishes are doubled, this is more spectacular than sensible.

Really great restaurant with very nice service, very tasty food and a really nice atmosphere. The food is prepared very quickly, you don't have to wait long and the portions are definitely sufficient. If you're really hungry, take a large portion. The offer to take the leftover food home with you is also great!! Suggestion for improvement: Serve the sauces for the schnitzel separately in a gravy boat. Then you can choose how much sauce you want on the schnitzel and the schnitzel is not “drowned” straight away. But it's a high level of complaint. We'd love to come back.

Wow. No one in Wermelskirchen would expect this gem to be there. From the outside it looks like a good middle-class restaurant, but from the inside you are surprised at how warm and modern it is. The food was very tasty and the drinks weren't too expensive. It wasn't the last time we were there.

We were there with 13 people. In short, great atmosphere, very modern furnishings. The service was perfect, we received our food very quickly, even without pre-ordering. The food was also excellent, large portions and delicious sauces. Unfortunately, one point deducted for the food and a small suggestion for improvement: Serve the sauces in gravy boats, then the schnitzels stay crispy and fresh. Thank you for the great evening!

From the outside the restaurant looks rather inconspicuous. Inside there are very stylish guest rooms that are absolutely cozy and have their own style that is pleasantly surprising. You immediately feel comfortable. The schnitzel menu is awesome. The portions are large. The fried potatoes were great. Wednesday evening... Full house, that's saying something. I didn't like the thickened pepper sauce, which doesn't mean it was homemade. The side salad was delicious. All in all, the four of us go home full and satisfied. Oh yes, the service was very good, friendly and accommodating. We hereby threaten to visit again

We were here for the second time today and are totally thrilled again. The service is extremely friendly, the food is delicious and the atmosphere is very cozy. Plus it's very clean. We can definitely recommend the restaurant and would be happy to come here again.

We have only used the schnitzel taxi so far. Ordering via WhatsApp works great. The food comes on time and warm. They are huge portions that can be eaten by two people. Unfortunately, I didn't like the mushroom sauce that much. But everything else is great

Have rarely eaten as well as there. Great restaurant with first class staff. The food was absolutely top and reasonably priced. However, you should reserve at least 5 days in advance. Word has gotten around about how great it is there ;-) it was our first visit there, but definitely not the last😉 Rarely have we visited such a good restaurant.

We ordered here for the first time based on a recommendation and can only confirm all the positive reviews. We had to wait another 10-15 minutes to pick up the food, but that was okay. Apparently it was very crowded that evening. At home we unpacked the food, which didn't fit all on the plate due to the quantity. The food was delicious, just (unfortunately) too much. The price you pay is actually far too cheap for what you get as a portion. Tip top, thank you very much.

I celebrated my wedding here in mid-May. All guests loved the ambience. The food was great, the staff was exemplary. In my opinion, price/performance cannot be beaten. I can only recommend it for celebrations and look forward to eating there next time.

The store has been renovated since my last visit. An impressive transformation. Modern, cozy, feel good, very busy - it's better to reserve a table in advance. Nice staff, great menu with, in my opinion, a fair price-performance ratio. There are schnitzels in two sizes: normal and mega (for those who are really hungry). The normal schnitzel costs 16.90 and the mega schnitzel costs 19.90. There is also a delicious side salad and fried potatoes or fries or another side dish. The food was brought to the table quickly and hot. I think the store and the concept are great and will come back.

We were there for the first time yesterday and loved it! The staff is very friendly and attentive, the atmosphere is pleasant, the shop is beautifully decorated, the food tastes great and the portion is more than decent! (And I'm not even a big schnitzel eater because I've never really liked most of them, but the schnitzel in this shop is really great!) This will definitely be one of our new favorite restaurants that we go to on a regular basis! :-)

Very cozy Very friendly And the food is just great for the price. Even had to have it packed. My tip is that it's best to call and reserve in advance and it's a bit difficult to park, but with a little patience you'll find it and you'll be allowed to park in the garages in the back yard👍

After numerous calls to both numbers given......cell phone and landline........over two days...we gave up. Busy....by letting it ring.....or simply pushing it away. You can do it...but it's not really good for business. We called somewhere else... and oh wonder... someone answered immediately and took our reservation in a friendly manner. It's okay👍

We had made reservations for 10 people on Easter Sunday. Everyone agreed on the ambience, the service and the food: you couldn't find it better.

We go there often and pick up something from time to time and have always been satisfied. The service is friendly, helpful and quick. The food is always great. Friends invited us here as a birthday present. I have to admit that we were a bit confused at first when we arrived. The exterior seemed a bit strange at first, but we were even more impressed by the dining room. It was lovingly, thoughtfully and very comfortably, modernly furnished. The service staff were extremely friendly, patient and flexible. The food was served quickly and was very tasty. An all-round successful evening and a location that we will definitely visit again.

The range of food on offer is enormous. Not only is every dish also vegetarian, there are a variety of vegan dishes. Even though I'm a meat eater myself, I think this service is great. All I can really say about the quality of the food is...DELICIOUS. Personally, I can't give the chef a higher compliment. The ingredients taste fresh and finely balanced. The portions are huge and special requests are welcome. I have dined in some very good restaurants with very friendly staff. But everyone here puts their heart and soul into it. You feel so welcome from the first minute to the last. What still amazes me is the fact that they manage to ensure that the fries are still cross when delivered...a phenomenon...but great. A tip: if you want to have the food delivered, you should think about this early enough. Haus Hochstein enjoys an excellent reputation and is therefore also in great demand for delivery services. It can happen that a last-minute delivery request cannot be fulfilled. So...order early and enjoy.

We came across the schnitzel factory completely by chance... If you want to eat delicious schnitzel, you've come to the right place! All schnitzels are available in 2 sizes and vegetarian options are also possible. As a starter we had aioli with bread and bruschetta - also very tasty. Unfortunately I couldn't fit any more dessert, maybe next time 😉 There are parking spaces at the house, if it is full you have to look for something on the street. Ambiance is modern. Service is friendly, attentive and accommodating.

Today we wanted to visit the restaurant for the very first time, after we found one of the scarce parking spaces, we went into the restaurant. Nice atmosphere, nice reception, and a friendly lady then explained to us that unfortunately it was closed today. Everything's good so far, but why don't you put it on the website...Facebook?? So since everything was very friendly, we will make a second attempt. I would like to know whether the schnitzels taste good. So then the rating for the food with pictures follows.

Wir waren am 2. Weihnachtstag dort. Ich hatte ein 300g Steak Medium rare bestellt. Trotz viel sehr viel Gäste war die Bedienung sehr freundlich und immer in der Nähe falls was nachbestellt werden sollte. Ich war sehr skeptisch was mein Steak anging aber ich wollte es mal testen. Ich muss sagen ich habe noch nie so ein leckeres Steak gegessen wie dort. Es war genau auf den Punkt und sehr gut gewürzt. Auch die anderen Mahlzeiten waren sehr lecker. Es gab niemanden aus unserer Familie die sich beschweren mussten. Wir werden das auf jeden Fall wiederholen war die einstimmig Meinung aller.

Ein regelmäßiges Vergnügen, ob vor Ort im Restaurant, dass seit dem Umbau einiges an Pluspunkten im Bereich Ambiente dazu gewonnen hat, als auch das Schnitzeltaxi für zuhause. <3

Als erstes muss ich sagen, dass ich selten in so stilvollem Ambiente gegessen habe, wie hier. Wirklich wunderschön eingerichtet, sehr gemütliche Atmosphäre, bequeme Sitzgelegenheiten, gute Musik - kurz: hier verweilt man gerne länger! Das Essen ist sehr lecker, bisher haben mir alle Gerichte immer geschmeckt. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis stimmt. Die Portionen sind groß. Der Service ist immer sehr zuvorkommend, das Personal höflich und der Chef des Hauses liegt das Wohl der Gäste merklich am Herzen. Wir kommen gerne hier her essen und sprechen eine klare Empfehlung aus!

Wir waren nun zum zweiten Mal dort , und es war wieder sehr lecker gewesen. Das Personal war super nett und hat sich bemüht einen es recht angenehm zu machen. Wir haben schon den nächsten Termin festgemacht.

Heute dort super lecker gegessen . Nur allerbestens weiter zu empfehlen. Sehr nette Leute vor Ort. Am Wochenende sollte man nur vor reservieren, ist stark gefragt dort. Essen ,Bedienung und Ambiente sind 5 Sterne Plus Wert.
