Haus Gloe has been and continues to be a popular destination for us for many years. In the end, we even had a larger family celebration organized. All guests were completely satisfied. Instead of a buffet, the landlord put together an excerpt menu for us, which was generally well received. It was also cheaper in terms of price because you only paid for what was eaten and there were no leftovers. The location in the countryside was also praised, and the access - thanks to the new road surface - was perfect for cars and cyclists.

We had a family celebration there last Saturday. The service was very friendly and careful. Special requests were also addressed. The food was prepared in a timely manner and tasted excellent. The room in which we dined with numerous people was very friendly and bright. We felt comfortable and would like to dine there again... The outdoor area is also very friendly, with natural shade. Ideal for a break on a bike tour. Unfortunately, three of the nearby bridges over the canal are currently closed due to construction work, which should be taken into account when driving to the restaurant.

Very friendly staff, the food was also very tasty. We will definitely come back there.

The restaurant is part of a tradition dating back to 1978. Then Jovan's grandfather moved to Mal. Today, this restaurant has an exceptional reputation and is the most famous in this area. It favors Balkan cuisine in the best way - with exceptional quality and taste. I chose turkey from the menu and I was not wrong because it tasted fantastic. My dessert was a "Denmark" cup. Delight in food, ambience, service... just to wish for.

Yes, I can recommend this restaurant. The steak was excellent, especially the quality. And the staff was just great. Super nice, we laughed a lot.

The restaurant is quite nice, but the food is run of the mill, loveless and "fried to death"! It would be nice as an excursion restaurant if at least the coffee was tasty... but unfortunately that's not the case!

The restaurant is a very traditional Serbian restaurant that has been known for its coziness and consistency for years. I ate an Argentinian rump steak with fried potatoes and a fresh salad as a starter. The meat was cooked to a perfect medium rare. What's particularly positive is that it wasn't a problem to order fried potatoes instead of fries. The kitchen is flexible and is happy to accommodate individual requests. The service was extremely friendly and accommodating. We were asked whether we were satisfied at pleasant, polite intervals without seeming intrusive. I can highly recommend this restaurant if you value authentic cuisine, good service and a cozy atmosphere.

The grill plate is simply delicious, the meat is cooked to perfection. The fries and Djuvec rice are also excellent. The only shame is that ajvar and onions don't appear on the menu. Here you have the best Ajvar I have ever eaten! An absolute delight for insiders, but unfortunately not perfect for outsiders when Ajvar and onions neither appear on the menu nor are they recommended.

I go there very often because the atmosphere and the location is very nice. Everyone is super friendly and attentive, you don't have to wait long. You are served directly. The restaurant is really nice and clean. You can celebrate birthdays, baptisms, etc. there. It's always beautifully decorated, just great. 👍🏻 You get a table and the food is very tasty🤤. The salad with the purple sauce is super delicious. The meat dishes are very tasty. A very very very nice restaurant. Because it is also a family business. Everyone is very warm and friendly. We went there with friends for lunch on Saturday. We were warmly welcomed. The food (skill steak with fries or fried potatoes plus salad/grill plate with salad) was very good 🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩, and the portions are also sufficient for hungry men. 👍 At the end we each received a well-chilled Julischka. The restaurant can be reached through a small forest. Parking spaces are available directly at the restaurant. It is close to the Lippe River. In summer you can enjoy your meal outside under a natural canopy of leaves and drinks in the shade. It is also particularly popular as a destination for cyclists 🚴🏼‍♀️🚴🏼🚴🏻‍♂️. A reservation would be an advantage 😉

Unfortunately I am forced to give one star. Four of us spontaneously came to Haus Gloe. Our dogs accompanied us. This was also ok when asked in advance. The dogs were even offered water. Thanks at this point to the very friendly service staff. But unfortunately, the amount of our order didn't seem to be enough for the owner. After handing in this, approx. 20-25€ per person. We were asked to leave the restaurant by him. I have never experienced such audacity! I certainly cannot recommend a house like this!

We were here very often, with and without dogs, we always felt very comfortable and were always treated very courteously!! Went there again today, asked if the dogs were allowed in again and was told "no problem" Order placed very nice service She deserves 5 stars!!! Then after 10 minutes the boss came and said it would be better if we went, the evening business was about to start, we would occupy 2 tables and that wouldn't be good, we were 4 people and 4 lovely dogs!!! The tables were quite small but we put them together so that there was no hindrance to the other guests, so we sat down like that! They could have told us beforehand that they didn't want to host us, no problem for us, we can spend our money elsewhere, but not in this way. We can no longer recommend it, sometimes greed wins!!!

The food was very tasty, served on interesting dishes. We were there with 14 people, had booked in advance and ordered food on site. But we didn't have to wait too long. It was a cozy evening.

The waitress is very nice and attentive, the waiter makes a very listless and negative impression. A big plus point, dogs 🐕 are allowed.

A lot has changed since last year. There is no longer aywar with onions, rarely just mayo. After paying, you won't get the famous Balkan schnapps anymore brought.

Simply incredibly great and delicious! The last time I was there was as a child almost 30 years ago! Still family owned! Super delicious! Super warm service! Such a warm welcome! Lots of guests there, but still a professional and personal contact! I'm blown away! A pearl in the pot! Again and again! We came especially from Bochum! Thank you very much for your loyalty to gadtronomy! You can feel it!

We were in this restaurant for the first time yesterday. Everything was very good. The food, the prices, the rooms and also the opportunity to sit protected outside. We were completely satisfied and can only recommend this location. Yesterday was definitely not the last time we were there.

Were there this evening with 4 people and we have never eaten so unbelievably bad....Everything with minced meat was so disgusting, the funny Bosnian was okay. The pancakes were hard and not at all tasty and the meat from the grill was very bad. The salad was good and the rice tasted good too. So never again, we were only there because our favorite Ivan was closed. Then I'd rather go back to Ivan in Marl, the quality and the staff are incredibly friendly and very nice and familiar.

Highly recommended, steak on point, haven't had it for a long time.

The service was friendly. We were allowed to order drinks once and food once, after which no waiter came to the table to take any further orders. We had to go to the counter to pay, even though we tried to draw attention to ourselves for several minutes. The food was OK. The portions are plentiful. We were more than full. Unfortunately the taste leaves a lot to be desired. There is an indefinable pink sauce on the salad, the fried potatoes are matchy, the pepper cream sauce tastes strange. The meat was cooked to perfection. Unfortunately, we didn't get the salads or the main courses in time. So someone always had to watch the others while they were eating. All in all, the experience was mixed and the visit has no potential to be repeated for me.

There was a party on site and the waiter kindly pointed out to us that the meal would take about 30 minutes. Despite asking, the 30 minutes turned into 100. The food itself was served dry and listless, so very disappointing. Drinks were not requested despite empty glasses. Very bad service. Absolutely not recommended.

Unfortunately I can't say anything positive. Drinks were warm. The food (two salads) wasn't tasty. One with bread and one without... Makes no sense... We can't rate meat dishes... First and last time...

Discovered this restaurant by chance. It was so nice to sit in the big garden. We ordered schnitzel. These were frozen and the sauce came out of the bag. Well, next time we'll eat something different. We'll definitely stop there again.

Quite spontaneously and went there for dinner for the first time yesterday. The atmosphere is typically “Yugoslavian” as we know it from the 80s. We were greeted very friendly by a young man and had free choice of seats. The dishes we ordered came quickly and the portions are really big. There is a plus point because mayonnaise and ketchup were served without asking. Unfortunately, the skewer of meat on the grill plate was very well done and therefore dry. The price-performance ratio is definitely right here and anyone who likes large portions and can eat a lot is in good hands here. When we paid we were then referred to another employee and he seemed grumpy and could have put on a smile.

The younger member of the staff was quite friendly, the older one was a bit grumpy. Now to the grill plate; The fries and rice were good. The meat was poorly seasoned, just too fluffy and poorly grilled. The bacon was also limp. Could have used a little more heat. The skewer is filled with tough meat. The salad drowned in the finished dressing. I have never eaten such a bad grilled dish anywhere. The court is therefore not recommended. Hands off.

A very friendly and above all attentive staff. Were there for a communion with around 25 people and sat in a very cozy room in the restaurant where there was an artificial tree. Very nice rooms in which we had our own space but were never forgotten. The orders were always taken quickly and the timing of the individual courses was absolutely fine. The food was really tasty and still hot when it was brought to the table!

Ordered a table for Mother's Day and couldn't get a table on site despite a reservation... You should then wait until a table becomes available... Something like that doesn't work... Never again

Had reserved a table in advance for Mother's Day. When we arrived today it was very crowded. We then asked for our table and were told we had to wait until a table became available. Um, we have reservations!!! The man then said... There's bound to be something available around the corner. Yes, nice in the blazing sun without an umbrella! We reserved a table for the beer garden. When I asked again they just said you just have to wait! We then said we would go eat somewhere else. Then they just said yes, do it!!!! Sorry, but that's absolutely not possible. Reserved is reserved

Nice restaurant but we are disappointed... - Drinks were brought once and then we were never asked again if we wanted anything else. - The meal took 55 minutes, which is simply too long for children -None of us were full, the side dishes were simply not enough - At the next table there was the well-known nightcap, but we didn't even have a lollipop for the children. Even though it was tasty, I expect a bit of service at 25-30 euros per meal. We are disappointed.

I decided on a grill plate and was very satisfied. Meat was exactly right, tasted great, and served very lovingly. I decided at short notice to go to the restaurant, which took me back to the good old days. If I sum everything up service, food, ambience, value for money, I can highly recommend it. The toilets were also great... I'm already looking forward to the next time.😋🤗

Very cozy. Mega friendly staff that fulfilled every wish. The food was great, freshly prepared. There were 15 of us and, even though it was full, our food was served quickly, hot and delicious. Our steaks were perfectly cooked and buttery soft. The rest of the team's food was also great. The service was great and super friendly. This restaurant is really recommended. The grounds and guest room are really beautiful. The service was very good. The food itself was OK and authentic. Only the pieces of meat would be too thin for me; it was pretty dry. I have no idea if that's the case.

This restaurant is really recommended. Very nicely located, right on the canal, embedded in nature. In summer, the spacious beer garden invites you to linger. Great kitchen with delicious food and large portions. Grandma still cooks here herself. Freshly prepared. Simply a culinary delight. The service is really top! Absolutely friendly and accommodating. We always enjoy coming back and would be happy to advise anyone who hasn't been here yet to do so. If you love fresh Serbian cuisine, this is the place for you. 👌😊

Everything was a bit stressful at Christmas, but it was made up for with a lot of charm and the food was simply great, I've rarely had such good steaks!! Compliment!!

Spitzenrestaurant! Gestern da gewesen: sehr guter Service und Cevapcici waren herausragend!

Das Fleisch war sehr gut, leider zu Neujahr eine sehr ausgedünnte Karte, welche auch noch teurer ist als im Internet (auch mit noch 7%MwSt). Kindergerichte sind fantasielos. Die Bedienung war nicht unfreundlich, allerdings auch nicht interessiert daran, dass man immer etwas zu trinken hatte oder auch ein Dessert wollte. Wenn man darüber hinwegsehen kann, dass Kinder noch nicht mal nach dem Essenswunsch gefragt werden oder auch über ihre Köpfe kommentarlos das Geschirr abgeräumt wird, kann man das Restaurant aufgrund des Essens durchaus weiterempfehlen. Man muss nur bereit sein um die 25€ für ein Hauptgericht auszugeben.

Essen war sehr gut, Bedienung war höflich und zuvorkommend wir waren nicht das letzte mal in diesem Restaurant.
