Everytime I think to eat something I always prefer to go haus des döner because in whole essen these the best place to eat and their service is much better than other food courts because it only takes 2-3 minutes and your order is ready. And everytime I go there their is always a plenty of people coming to eat there.

I've been to many kebab shops in North Rhine-Westphalia and I have to admit that this one made the best kebab. You get really juicy meat in your kebab, not dry, leftover meat from the night before like in some other kebab shops. Highly recommended.

The kebab tasted truly excellent. Unfortunately, the atmosphere during the meal left a lot to be desired: Outside, pigeons were flying everywhere – they were perched on tables, fluttering around, and even trying to get at the food. This was very disturbing and significantly detracted from the enjoyment of the meal. Something really needs to be done about this.

Very tasty kebab in Essen, definitely recommended, the bread is crispy and soft on the inside, the sauces are really delicious, the meat could be better but it's within the range, the Ayran was also tasty and the price is OK and the portion was large.

The doner kebab at Haus des Döners tastes quite delicious, but unfortunately, my doner kebab didn't have much meat in it. What a shame! Otherwise, everything was fine and fresh, as always.

The kebab was delicious, the bread was very crispy and fine, but the kebab could have been a bit bigger for €7.50.

The meat is usually tasty. But there are days when the meat won't even go down your esophagus because it's so rotten. I don't think it's always the same skewer supplier, but that on certain days they put out cheap meat skewers to make more profit. Yes, you can tell. So it's more of a scam, what you quickly notice is that the quality is always different with you. That's why I won't be coming again! Also, the meat wasn't seared properly today and was cold. The meat was probably still at the bottom of the bowl. And you save gas and electricity if you don't sear it properly. A year ago it was seared well.

We were in Essen with a large group for one night over the weekend and stumbled upon this kebab shop by chance. Great service and super delicious kebabs! All orders were ready almost simultaneously, it was super fast, and we even got a free fries! Highly recommended!

It's very ungrateful that you give a 50 cent tip and then you hear why it's not more. I didn't like the minced meat skewer either. And I had fries with it, but they were burnt three times and were barely edible.

This was my first time at Haus des Döners and I'm absolutely thrilled! The food was truly delicious – the kebab was freshly prepared, the meat juicy and perfectly seasoned, with fresh vegetables and a super-tasty sauce. You can tell they care about quality. The service was also top-notch: The staff were super friendly, attentive, and cheerful, which made the visit even more enjoyable. You received a warm welcome and immediately felt like you were in good hands. The atmosphere in the shop was very pleasant – everything was clean and well-maintained, and you felt completely at home. You can tell that love goes into making things here – both in the kitchen and in the way they treat their guests. All in all, a truly fantastic visit – I'll definitely be back and can highly recommend Haus des Döners!

Food cold, fries soggy, kebab very little for the money so in Essen Haus des Döner is a disaster in contrast to Duisburg & Oberhausen, should take a leaf out of their hat. Customers in Essen also make themselves wait longer, even though you are more likely to be there when colleagues come from there. 1 time never again!!

This place is just right for a snack while shopping. It is located diagonally opposite v. Extra sheet. Unfortunately it doesn't have a toilet/sink. But there are plenty of wet wipes. The kebab comes from the Efsane company. Tasty good! Friendly employees!

Absolute garbage "food". I generally wouldn't tackle veal. It only contains adhesive and grease. The store is new and already has a shabby impression. The employees are very nice, but they don't understand more than three words

All I can say is unnecessary hype! Went there today to eat the kebab and the kebab plate didn't taste good! Meat was way too fatty and tasted artificial. The garlic sauce tasted like old cream cheese. The only thing that was okay was the salad. For this price and taste, you'd rather eat somewhere else.

There's a lot going on here in the evenings. Respect, consideration and tolerance - that's what I associate with the Haus des Döner, whether in Essen, Oberhausen, Duisburg or Düsseldorf. 🙏🤲♥️ The kebab tastes great, the staff is relaxed and the other guests are very polite. Especially in summer, we recommend enjoying the kebab 🥙 outside here in Essen, preferably with a cool Uludag.

We can only recommend the kebab shop with its products that are always freshly prepared, it was a taste explosion for us. Thank you for that. When we are in Essen again we will be happy to visit you again. Unfortunately, 450 km separate us from you.

Initially 5 stars kebab now simply not worth more than 1 star Bread hard as stone Meat in the kebab only visible with a magnifying glass just typical they try hard for the first few months and after that it doesn't matter anymore!!! Oh yes and a NORMAL portion of meat in a kebab costs €1 extra!!!! And the meat is now full of FAT, it's just disgusting, why do you have to raise the prices and still drive the quality down!!!

The kebab was very tasty. At €7 the price was okay. You could only sit outside, there were a lot of pigeons there, which sometimes sat on the tables, which was annoying, otherwise everything was fine.

I gave the store two chances: the first time, an acquaintance of the staff was happily brought forward, even though I had been waiting for a while, then I left again. The second time, the employee alternately reached with his bare hands for the knife, the cash register and his hand in the salad because there was a lemon in it, which he must have squeezed over the meat from time to time. In terms of hygiene, it’s a no-go. I went to the famous competition around the corner both times and was thrilled.

I've gotten takeaway from there a few times so far. Every time I ask that it should be dark and that I'm happy to wait. They always do it well. Meat is always tasty and kebab is like kebab. I recently had it delivered from somewhere else (also in Essen). That was disgusting. I have to drive there because you don't deliver. But it's worth it. + the staff are very friendly and they pay attention to the special instructions.

We were there yesterday and wanted to try the kebab. We thought it must be good when it's so crowded, but it was the worst kebab we've eaten so far. The bread and salad were okay but the meat made us so sick it didn't taste good at all the taste was so artificial and greasy. Never save money again.

Around the corner, if there are defects, it is more expensive and not so thickly filled In my opinion, the meat is ready-made rotisserie but tastes better than many others and everyone in the area has minced kebab but this one is of higher quality The guys are super correct and like to call you boss, which is a must for me at a kebab shop With the competition around the corner you are not called boss The ambience outside is relaxed and chilled, better than the competition so don't get hyped about Podolski because you get more and better for the money here

I visited the branch and was disappointed. Unfortunately, the ambience and cleanliness were far below the chain's usual standards. The atmosphere was uninviting and there were deficiencies in cleanliness. Unfortunately, for a chain usually known for its well-maintained establishments, this location wasn't up to par.

The kebab was delicious as always in the kebab house, Meat top bread top salad top sauces top you can't say otherwise, always happy when you're hungry. Service is ok so far, could be better. Great kebab. Influencer kebabs are usually a bit overrated, but this one is very tasty! A wide selection of different sauces, good salad and juicy meat are crucial for the kebab! The staff were also very friendly! The only disadvantage is the long queue in front of the counter! Otherwise great!🙌

Wir sind oft vorbeigegangen und haben die Menschenschlangen vor dem Eingang gesehen. Dieses Mal beschlossen wir, nicht vorbeizugehen und etwas Leckeres zu kaufen, da so viele Leute in der Schlange standen. Es war schwierig, drinnen zu sein, weil es so stickig war. Wir bestellten einen Wrap-doner mit Huhn (€7.50). Wir fragten nach allen Soßen und Gemüse. Überraschenderweise war der Döner trocken und geschmacklos. Wahrscheinlich eine der größten Enttäuschungen im Essener Schnellimbiss. Würde ich nicht empfehlen. We often passed by and saw lines of people in front of the entrance. This time we decided not to pass by and buy something tasty, since there were so many people in line. It's difficult to be inside because of the stuffiness. We took Wrap-doner with chicken (7.50€). Asked for all the sauces and vegetables. Surprisingly, the doner turned out to be dry and tasteless. Probably one of the worst disappointments in Essen fast food. I don't recommend it.

Very tasty kebab in the middle of Essen city center. Quality and taste is above average, but nothing special either. Prices are (as is unfortunately usual at the moment) relatively high. (7€) The large kebab isn't really worth it, as it only contains a little more meat, but is not a "bigger" kebab. Still recommended. The design is stolen, but something different.

Vallah best donner I have ever eaten

It's a bit hectic because it's a crowded place, but the food is really delicious! I ate a menu called Done Teller, which came all on one plate.

Price/performance unfortunately poor. There is significantly more for the price in the immediate vicinity. Additionally there is a bird plague in front of the store. Therefore only 2 stars possible, although the service staff was nice.

The store was completely full and it was really warm inside. So you went to a sauna to eat a kebab that didn't even taste good. It tasted as if someone had let this kebab drag on the asphalt three times and then handed it to me. Otherwise everything was a bad review, only negative. The employees at the branch in Essen-Altendorf are unfriendly. They want extra money for every little thing, for example if you want a little salad (€1.50) on your kebab. Or recently the bread was a bit dark and when I wanted new bread I was insulted. I don't feel the service was friendly, so I'll never go there again.

Because the waiting time was so long, I was asked 8 times what I wanted on my chicken kebab. I said spicy 8 times, with lemon and without corn. I ended up with a mediocre, spicy veal kebab with corn and no lemon. And €7 for that. Great.
