Surprising experience in this restaurant in the countryside on the edge of a pond: refined flavors, careful presentation and attentive staff. Coming from France, a country of good restaurants, I was pleasantly surprised by the level and the welcome. THANKS !

When the weather is sunny it is just great to sit there, nice and relaxing. Nice service and delicious food; recommended.

Dinner with the family on Ash Wednesday. No asceticism, just a wonderful family evening. The atmosphere in the restaurant is modern, lounge-like, cozy and a place to linger. The service team is friendly, attentive, jokes, present and always respectful. The fact that the chef introduced himself and showed his passion for good cooking was another nice moment. Finally, the food was really good, we chose á la carte, starter and main course, and finally shared the dessert. Everything was excellently prepared, beautifully presented on the plate, good pre-products were excellently processed. Everything was fine. The wine list should also be mentioned, very good selection, also unusual wines and grape varieties, all price ranges available, it is much more varied and creative than so many wine lists with Pinot Gris and Lugana, well done! We'll be back and are looking forward to the summer season with the terrace by the lake, wonderful. Thanks to the service team and Julian, he was great :-)

Das Restaurant hat am 01.02.2025 unter neuer Leitung wiedereröffnet. Wir waren zu Mittag dort, eine klassische Speisenkarte gab es nicht, nur ein Überraschungsmenu mit 2 oder 3 Gängen. Es wurde nichts gesagt was es gab; außer Unverträglichkeiten konnte man angeben. Da kein a la care Essen möglich war, ein absolutes "No Go". Man kauft nicht die Katze im Sack. Die Speisen waren geschmacklich gut, aber für ein selbst ernanntes Fine Dinig Restaurant reichte es definitiv nicht. Ein weiteres "No Go" waren 2x Salatteller für 4x Personen; ein Hauch von Mittelalter kam auf. Nachdem dann 3 Gänge keine Sättigung brachte, wurde aus der Abendkarte noch ein Dessert besstellt. Für jeweils 14,50€ gab es ein Dame Blanche bzw Käsetartlet. Beide Preisleistungs-Koeffizienten schlugen ins unendliche aus, da die Quantität nur minimalst war. FAZIT: Für ein selbst ernanntes Fine Dining zu viel Preis für zu wenig Qualität und Quantität und somit keine Empfehlung.

As long-time regular guests, we had dinner at Haus am See for the first time since the operator changed. The premises have been renovated a bit, new paint, new lighting, new tables. Subtle changes that create a modern, clean ambience. Looks good and consistent. Apparently almost the entire service staff was replaced, so we must have missed some very nice people. Too bad. But luckily good Julian is still there, otherwise the house by the lake wouldn't be the same!! The new service staff seems to be nice so far. The menu has of course been completely redesigned. Our starters were very tasty and beautifully presented, as were the main courses. Unfortunately, the portions of the latter are too small. Unfortunately, you won't get full without starters. If this is part of the "concept", that's a shame. Before that there was a greeting from the kitchen and some bread with butter. Both nice and tasty. The desserts can still be improved, The base of the cheesecake tart was nothing, too hard. And Dame Blanche used to be “famous” according to the menu, and that’s what she really was. The new version cannot be compared at all, too little ice cream, unnecessary cream instead, chocolate sauce used to taste better, and the brittle breading used to be simply brilliant. In other words, the new version is nothing, I miss the old version a lot. Well, apart from these two desserts, there is only cheese. A bit of a shame. The wine list is quite extensive, but strangely there are only two German white wines. There should be more choice. For the first time after the "re-opening" we found it very nice and tasty. We also found it very positive that we were able to give some of our feedback personally because the staff took the time to do so. We'll definitely be happy to come back and are very excited to see how things develop and whether some things can be improved. We hope that it will be just as beautiful on the terrace from spring onwards. Addition: the new homepage is extremely slow, takes forever to load, not pleasant.

Wir waren im Rahmen einer kleinen Familienfeier im Haus am See. Die neue Küche hat uns positiv überrascht. Wir wussten, dass ein neues Team die Regie führt und wir sind begeistert. Die Bedienungen sind sehr nett und würzen die Gespräche mit einer guten Prise Humor und einer vollen Kelle Hilfsbereitschaft und Fachwissen. Zum Essen haben wir das Überraschungsmenü genommen (6 Gänge). Die Gänge waren sämtlich wundervoll und sehr appetitlich angerichtet. Das Essen war überraschend, interessant in Geschmack und Mundgefühl, gegensätzlich und doch harmonisch. Ohne telefonische Vorankündigung hatten wir auch vegetarische Menüs. Die vegetarischen Gänge waren teils interessanter als die mit Fisch bzw. Fleisch (ich habe beides probiert). Der Abend hat uns kulinarisch und auf persönlicher Ebene völlig überzeugt. Wir waren alle nicht zum letzten Mal hier und empfehlen das Haus am See absolut weiter! Der Zugang mit Rollstuhl ist über den Weg am See möglich. Das WC ist ebenfalls mit einem Rollstuhl erreichbar.

A new operator with a new kitchen has been at work here since February 1st, 2025. The menu and drink offerings have changed significantly. There is definitely still some work to be done at one point or another. I can recommend the 3 or 4 course surprise menu.

Very good environment and extremely friendly service. However, the food is not as good as expected. Considering the price, the food offered is quite average—no offense.

Last weekend we enjoyed a fantastic evening at the reopened Haus am See. With a new chef and a talented young team in the kitchen and service, this restaurant is an absolute asset. The dishes, prepared at a high level and with finesse, are a true taste sensation. The fine dining experience is completed by the magical atmosphere and beautiful surroundings. A culinary experience that we recommend to everyone!

Vandaag mochten we genieten van een bijzondere culinaire ervaring bij het nieuw heropende restaurant Haus am See in Aken. Het restaurant heeft alles wat je kunt wensen: een geweldige locatie, een prachtig interieur en een bediening die je helemaal in de watten legt. Vanaf het moment dat we binnen kwamen, voelden we ons welkom en thuis. Wat deze ervaring echt onvergetelijk maakt, is de keuken. Chefkok Milan Klein en zijn team weten precies hoe ze smaken in balans moeten brengen en een gerecht tot een ware beleving kunnen maken. Elk bord is met zorg opgemaakt, en de ingrediënten zijn vers, puur en met vakmanschap bereid. Van subtiele smaakcombinaties tot verrassende accenten, elke hap was een genot. Wij gaan zeker gauw weer genieten bij Haus am See @Aken.

A very nicely located restaurant. The food always tastes excellent. Only the greeting from the kitchen is poor. I would either leave it out or adapt it to the quality and appearance of the other dishes. The prices are high. Price-performance ratio is ok, except at Christmas. The prices for the food on offer are far too expensive. I wouldn't celebrate Christmas here anymore, there are definitely better restaurants with more suitable prices.

Great ambiance and helpful staff. We had a beautiful dinner. The food was nothing too special but in general just really well prepared. Loved our stay.

We have enjoyed eating at the Haus am See for years. It is beautifully located in nature by the lake and you can always find a parking space in front of the restaurant or at the lake. Yesterday we had grilled tuna with wasabi mayo as a starter and the Ultimate American fillet steak with homemade fries as our main course. The fillet steak was incredibly soft, you almost didn't need a knife - it couldn't be better. The kitchen is open and you can watch the owner and his team cooking. A great location with lots of tables outside and inside. Even more beautiful in summer with the large outdoor terrace and the view of the lake.

Nach vielen Jahren haben wir mal wieder einen Besuch gewagt und sind positiv überrascht worden. Gerichte sehr lecker. Preise für gehobene Küche angemessen, Service unaufdringlich. Über das Ambiente - insbesondere die Weihnachtsdeko - kann man sich streiten. Ist aber eher unwichtig. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder.

Seezunge 500g mit Spinat und Kartoffelpürree € 46,50 Was kommt ist ein wesentlich kleinerer Fisch mit max. 350g Rohgewicht auf der Plancha halb gegart auf Babyspinat durch die Abwärme des Fisches teilweise angegart mit Instantpürree. Die Aussicht auf den See ist wohl der Lebensretter für dieses Haus.

We celebrated my wife's birthday yesterday at the lake house. Nice food in a beautiful location! The dishes we tried gave the impression of high-quality, fresh ingredients and the combinations were harmonious. Unusual interpretation of the Cesar Salad, but absolutely delicious. Meat excellent, exactly to the point. If you like a dessert, you should definitely choose the Dame Blanche, which can also be served in a smaller portion upon request. The vanilla ice cream here has a brittle sprinkling, there is a jug of thick, smooth chocolate sauce - a dream. The coffee and especially the cappuccino were also great, definitely not a given even in higher-priced restaurants. We found the service friendly, attentive, but not intrusive. It was possible to influence the time between courses, a nice detail. Despite the restaurant being full, the waiting times weren't long, as the kitchen seems to be well organized. Well, we also found the prices a little too high despite the clearly good quality, but overall the visit and the food were so pleasant that we will definitely come back.

We were at Haue am See for the first time on Sunday evening and can only report positive things. The covered terrace by the water is an almost unique ambience. The staff was very friendly and accommodating, the food had a modern style and was outstandingly good. Absolute recommendation, we will definitely come back.

Ich war das zweite Mal beim „Haus am See“ und war an beiden Tagen sehr zufrieden. Das Essen war sehr lecker (beste Trüffel-Pasta) und mit 3 Gängen sind alle satt geworden. Auch für Vegetarier ist was passendes dabei. Es gab außerdem einen „Gruß aus der Küche“ und leckeres frisches Brot. Der Service ist sehr freundlich und aufmerksam, wirkt aber nicht aufgesetzt. Die Location ist gemütlich wenn man drinnen sitzt und auf der Terrasse kann man auch sehr schön sitzen (auch mit Hund). Die Preise sind gehoben, für einen besonderen Anlass lohnt sich ein Besuch aber auf jeden Fall! Ich werde gerne wieder kommen.

We celebrated our wedding here with around 60 guests and it was a dream! The planning was super easy and uncomplicated, the employees were always easy to reach and responded quickly and on the day itself the service was perfect, we didn't have to worry about anything. We were able to relax through the evening, which is not a given on a wedding day :) The price for the menu and the drinks package was reasonable, the food was exceptionally good and the restaurant responded very flexibly to our guests' requests (e.g. children's plates, etc.) and was able to fulfill most of them. There were no gluten-free options, but we were informed of this beforehand and we were able to plan accordingly. We were really super satisfied and would happily recommend it!

Zuvorkommende Bedienung, anständig eingedeckter Tisch, leckeres Amuse gueule als Aufmerksamkeit des Hauses. Schöner Blick auf den Teich, weil wir zu sechst im überdachten Anbau gesessen haben. Der wird von Heizstrahlern beheizt, deswegen ist ein gleichmäßiges Temperaturniveau kaum zu schaffen. Die Speisekarte war angenehm übersichtlich, die Gerichte selbst wurden optisch ansprechend serviert. Das Essen selbst war auch in Ordnung. Beim Wolfsbarsch enttäuschte allerdings die Sauce, die an Bratenjus erinnerte und nicht so recht zum Fisch passen wollte. Auch die Seezunge für 46,50 € (mit einem großen Klecks Püree garniert) erfüllte nicht ganz die Erwartungen. Das Hähnchengericht war schlicht mit geringem Fleischanteil und ist keine Empfehlung wert. Die sogenannten Giant-Burger schmeckten uns, wenn auch die dazu servierten Pommes frites den eigenen Anspruch des Restaurants ("super lecker") nicht ganz erfüllen konnten. So war ein Teil der Kartoffeln mit dunklen Stellen versehen, wurde aber trotzdem mitfritiert. Das alles wohlgemerkt zu Preisen, die sich für eher einfache Speisen etwa zwischen 30 und 45 Euro pro Gericht bewegen. Unterm Strich haben wir im Haus am See einen netten Abend verbracht. Ehrlicherweise wollen wir aber mit Blick auf die Speisen und die Preise beim nächsten Familienessen ein anderes Restaurant ausprobieren.

Wir haben vier Tage gerätselt, wie wir das Mittagessen im Haus am See vom 29.6.24 einordnen sollen. Sollen wir überhaupt eine Meinung abgeben? Sind wir geschmacksblind oder alle Anderen? Gegenüber dem Besuch im letzten Jahr erneut eine Verschlechterung. Hummersuppe wässrig. Der bei den Vorspeisen und beim sog. Ceasar Salad gereichte Thunfisch ist ein Fall für die Mülltonne. Das Risotto auf dem Teller meiner Mutter eine matschige Pampe. Ich weiß gar nicht, was ich sagen soll. Der Salat so latsch, als hätte er stundenlang in Wasser gelegen. Die Croutons wie aus der Tüte. Kein Dressing, das auch nur annähernd den Titel Ceasers nahekommt. Ein Witz. Ich habe schon die versteckte Kamera gesucht. Der Fairness halber muß ich sagen, daß uns vom freundlich-bemühten Service ein alternative Gericht oder eine Flasche Wein aufs Haus angeboten wurde. Nett, aber sinnlos; daher abgelehnt. Angesichts der deftigen Preise eine bodenlose Enttäuschung. Die ganze Darbietung war wie in einem Flughafen-"Restaurant" wo man nach dem Zoll gezwungen ist, zu essen, was es gibt. Eine Demütigung. Die Kokossuppe war OK. Fragt sich, wie lange das so bleibt. Wir werden nie mehr zurückkommen.

Went to the Haus am See restaurant last night. What can I say. Wonderful. The ambience is great. The staff was very friendly and attentive. Of course the prices for the dishes are a bit high. After the civil wedding, we invited our guests to dinner in a small circle at the Haus am See and were very satisfied. From the desire to prepare small presents for our guests in a seating arrangement at their place to the service and food, everything was perfect. We would choose it again at any time and only have one suggestion for improvement: for veal dishes, to ask in advance what texture the meat should have.

Great service and nice location. Friendly, relaxed, but still professional. For a broad, generally upscale clientele. Prices are quite high, so you have to have higher expectations. For vegetarians there were only 3 main courses, one of which was vegan (salad with chanterelles). But there are a dozen meat variations. Good timing and presentation of the food. No drinks menu, but the cocoa is highly recommended. With the coffee there is eggnog cream and a praline.

We went to the Haus am See with the whole family for a fish dinner on Good Friday. Starters were very good, fish & Co. Main courses were excellent and the desserts were opulent and delicious. Service was very accommodating and took care of the entire family plus dog 👍🏻 I can only recommend the restaurant, food and ambience.

Wir waren Weihnachten dort und hatten uns auf einen gemütlichen Abend gefreut. Im Vorfeld mussten wir uns für ein Menü entscheiden, wir wählten ein 4 Gänge Menü. Schon der Empfang draußen und die Abgabe der Garderobe gefiel uns nicht, wir mussten ohne Jacken draußen in der Kälte warten, bis wir hinein gebeten wurden. Wir hatten einen 4er Tisch, um uns herum große Tische mit 20 Personen, sehr laut und ungemütlich. Die Speisen waren lange warm gehalten, der Fisch dementsprechend trocken und mehr als durch. Alles in allem kein besinnliches Weihnachtsessen, eher eine Atmosphäre wie bei einer Massenveranstaltung. Nie wieder!

Ausgezeichnet, eines der besten Restaurants die ich kenne. Und ich habe einige genossen. Service, Ambiente, Essen & Getränke, wir waren mehr als nur zufrieden. Die Crew ist knorke. Wer hier als Gast hingeht, und über Preise „meckert“, hat erstklassige Gastronomie nicht verstanden.

Die Kellner waren sehr aufmerksam und nett. Ich persönlich empfinde den Gastraum als etwas "leer". Das Essen war sehr lecker. Ein kleines Problem mit einem unserer Desserts wurde schnell und professionell gelöst.

Prima restaurant om te eten, al zijn er een aantal dingen die volgens mij beter kunnen. We hebben er ‘s avonds gegeten en het is er vanbuiten erg donker (parkeren + omgeving). Eenmaal door de rokersplek kom je jij de ingang, dat moet ook anders kunnen! Het eten werd erg snel geserveerd, terwijl we net de helft van de amuse en dipjes op hadden. Het hoofdgerecht was super goed! Ik denk dat er weinig restaurants zijn die de Duitse kost zo goed kunnen overbrengen als dit restaurant. Terwijl het glas wijn nog vol zat, kwam de (vermoedelijke) eigenaresse de wijn zonder te vragen bijschenken, dat hoefde voor mij niet. Het voelde een beetje opdringerig, ook nadat we klaar waren met eten en ze snel het dessert wilden opnemen en brengen. Had liever gezien dat er tussendoor iemand kwam vragen of het smaakt en of we eventueel iets anders te drinken wilden hebben. Het nagerecht was overigens fantastisch! De crème brulee is by far de beste die ik ooit heb gehad! De jassen hebben we ook zelf uit de garderobe moeten vissen.

Ein Traumort zum Essen mit einer Aussicht auf den See, die man hier in der Region nicht oft findet. Das Essen war ein Genuss und der Service vorbildlich.

Wir hatten einen sehr schönen Abend. Der Service, das Essen (Gans und Reh) waren sehr gut. Schönes Ambiente. Guter Rotwein, vielleicht in Zukunft auch deutsche Rotweine.

Wir waren ausgesprochen angenehm überrascht, diese Qualität und den guten Service haben wir sehr genossen. Wir werden bald wieder kommen.

5 Sterne für das Haus am See !!! Hier erwartete uns auch bei unserem letzten Besuch ein sehr gepflegtes Ambiente und ein vorzügliches 3-Gänge Menü mit erlesener Weinbegleitung. Die Mitarbeiter sind sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Wir kommen immer wieder gerne hierher und genießen die Köstlichkeiten des Hauses.

Sauerbraten mal anders… so stand es auf der Karte und ich war komplett begeistert! So ein zartes Fleisch mit einer ganz besonderen Sauce, dazu knackiges schmackhaftes Gemüse und dieser unfassbar knackige karamellisierte Apfel dazu… ein Gedicht! Sehr freundliches Personal hat den Abend wunderbar abgerundet! Vielen Dank!

Fünf Sterne, top Essen, top Service top Ambiente, hier stimmt einfach alles und wir kommen hier immer wieder gerne hin. Die Inhaberin gestaltet hier alles mit viel Liebe zum Detail, die mitarbeitenden sind sehr aufmerksam und das Essen ist jedes Mal Spitzenklasse. Zahlreiche Parkplätze draußen erleichtern die an und Abfahrt, für die Kinder gibt es noch einen Spielplatz und im Sommer genießt man noch einen Spaziergang rund um den See. Klare Empfehlung.

Wir waren mit 12 Erwachsenen und zwei Kindern für eine Familienfeier dort. Einfach rundum klasse. Gute, unkomplizierte Vorabstimmung / tolle, harmonische Atmosphäre und Dekoration / sehr aufmerksamer aber nicht aufdringlicher Service / Essen und Getränke rundum lecker, wunderschön angerichtet, gut abgeschmeckt.. Ganz klare Empfehlung!

Ein wunderbarer Ort um mit Freunden zu entspannen und dabei noch die hervorragende Küche zu genießen. Das sehr freundliche Personal rundet den Aufenthalt ab. Immer wieder gerne!!!

Situé en périphérie de la ville et surplombant un lac, la salle à manger intérieure est spacieuse mais pas très chaleureuse. Notre repas : potage aux girolles ou au homard très goûteux suivis d’un saumon sans histoire ou d’un hamburger très ordinaire. Le serveur était particulièrement gentil.

Sehr leckeres Essen bei außerordentlich schönen Ambiente. Auch das Preis-/Leistungs Verhältnis ist in Ordnung. Die Karte könnte für unseren Geschmack ein wenig umfangreicher sein. Wir kommen wieder.

Hallo zusammen! Wir waren an einem Wochenende im SEPTEMBER 2023 mit fünf Personen, davon 2 Jugendliche 16 und 15 zum Geburtstagsessen des 15jährigen. Das Haus am See ist sehr einladend. Im Sommer ist es auf der Terrasse sehr schön,aber leider war das Essen nicht so gut. Wir hatten Vorspeisen die okay waren. Das Hauptgerich im Preis-Leistungsverhältnis war schlecht. Der Bürger ca 25€ ist auf einem warem Teller serviert wobei das Fleich kühl war. Vom Geschmack war das sogar gut aber kalt. Genau umgekehrt war es bei den Trtellinis. Teller war kalt und die super war zwar warm,aber da wo die Nudeln am Rand waren,waren die kalt. Sehr schade für das Geld. Zu teuer für so eine Leistung . Zudem ist es noch,das man im Restaurant nicht das essen ruhig genießen kann. Es war sehr laut. Die Reaktion vom Keller war,ist halt so..... A ja.....ich hatte da eine andere Reaktion des Kellners erwartet. Ich werde dieses Restaurant nicht mehr besuchen und werde auch keine Empfehlungen in meinem Umfelt geben. Sehr schade, Verbesserungswürdig!

Alles in allem ein schönes Restaurant mit gutem bis exzellentem Essen. Allerdings wirklich sehr überteuert. Ich lebe in München, und dort zahle ich teilweise weniger für besseres Essen. Würde nicht noch mal hingehen.

Wunderbar gelegene Location mit toller Atmosphäre. Wir waren zum ersten Mal dort- mit Sicherheit nicht zum letzten Mal. Das Essen war ausgezeichnet. Jeder am Tisch (5 Personen) hat ein unterschiedliches Gericht bestellt und alle waren sehr zufrieden mit Ihrem Essen. Die Bedienung war freundlich und das Ambiente gehoben und angenehm. Die Einrichtung ist sehr schön und man genießt eine herrliche Aussicht. Selbst unsere zwei Hunde haben sich wohl gefühlt. Vielen Dank!

Für den Service würde ich sogar 6 Sterne vergeben.

Waren zu einer Hochzeit geladen Tolles Haus

Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis stimmt hier leider gar nicht. Die hohen Preise sind nicht angemessen .Qualität durchschnittlich und langweilig präsentiert .Pasta mit Sahnesoße und Pfifferlingen für 27 Euro ist schon sehr hochpreisig.Bei nahezu 400 Euro für 5 Personen ziemlich enttäuschend.

Die Location am See ist wunderschön. Das kann ich vom Essen und von den Preisen leider nicht sagen. Mein Fisch war unfassbar teuer und überhaupt nicht gut. Zum Fisch gab es eine braune Soße, das für meinen Geschmack gar nicht passt. In dem Restaurant passt das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis überhaupt nicht. Der günstigste Flasche Weisswein kostet 39 €. Ein stolzer Preis. Service war gut. Bei den Preisen gehe ich lieber ins La Becasse und bekomme super Qualität für mein Geld.
