Restaurant Bistro in Aachen

Last night at a business dinner at the Élysée. I haven't been to the restaurant area for a while, but I've been to the bar area regularly. Choosing a starter and main course, the food was excellent, everything was handcrafted and prepared without shishi, great taste thanks to intense reduction (Iberico cheeks, great). It's nice and informal to sit there, the wine list is of a good standard and balanced, there's something for everyone, all good wines. A recommendation for me and I will definitely eat there more often, even privately with friends. The price-performance ratio is reasonable and quality is offered for the prices. The service is attentive, the host came to our table to get feedback. Perfect.

It seems to be a nice place as there are a lot of celebrations going on there. However, for the residents in the area it is an imposition that, despite multiple reports of noise pollution in the past, people continue to celebrate with their windows open until the early hours of the morning. This is a particularly stressful situation for parents when their children cannot fall asleep all night long and unfortunately this situation occurs frequently. Since several comments and complaints have now been received, this will in future be clarified with the public order office rather than with Pipin.

I've known the Santa Claus grill for years. The service is always very friendly, but the food has been very poor. The gyro plate is not worth almost €13.
