Die Lage des Hotels ist top. Leider ist es sehr in die Jahre gekommen. Zimmer von der Größe ausreichend. Sauber 😀 Keine Klimaanlage. Sehr warm. 😞

Ruhig gelegenes Hotel mit sauberen Zimmern. Das Frühstücksbuffett ist reichlich und mit dem Service waren wir zufrieden. Es gab keinen Anlass für Beanstandungen.

Ruhig gelegenes Hotel am See. Zimmer sauber und Betten bequem. Frühstücksangebot war für uns ausreichend. Kaffee aus dem Automaten schmeckte.

Vorab, also die Mitarbeiter sind absolut Top. Das negative: Zimmer sind sehr in die Jahre gekommen aber sauber. Was aber gar nicht geht, sind Aufbackbrötchen zum Frühstück. Wenn ich schon in einem Hotel übernachten und dort relativ viel Geld für die Übernachtung mit Frühstück bezahle, möchte ich auch frische Brötchen vom Bäcker und keine Aufbackware vom Aldi. (So haben sie geschmeckt). Die paar Cent könnte man wirklich investieren. Die Lage ist schön, direkt an einem See mit Schwänen und Enten und in der Abenddämmerung war sogar ein Fuchs da. Das Zimmer war leider nach hinten, ohne Balkon oder so, aber war ja nur für eine Nacht.

Ich kann das Essen leider niemandem empfehlen. Schnitzel TK, Schweinelende hat niemals eine Pfanne gesehen. In der Pfeffersauce haben wir die Pfefferkörner gesucht. Dazu war die Sauce flüssig und geschmacksneutral. Der Salate Teller ist für das bisschen Rohkost und Eisbergsalat überteuert. Wir werden auf keinen Fall mehr zum Abendessen kommen, höchstens um an der schönen Location ein Getränk zu uns zu nehmen. Der Service war in Ordnung.

Waren zur Jugendweihe meiner Tochter zum Abendessen im Restaurant. Bedienung war freundlich, habe ein normales Bier bestellt bekommen habe ich Alkoholfreies. Essen war die absolute Katastrophe, habe Lende gegessen die total kalt war. Pommes waren latschig, und das für zwanzig Euro. Normalerweise müsste man sein Geld zurück bekommen.

Ich war dort Essen ...a la Carte um jemanden zu besuchen ... Bodenständig aber lecker ...man könnte ein wenig an der Qualität schrauben aber sonst mehr als okay ...der service war aufmerksam...und nett...die Getränke gut was will man mehr ...

Wir waren am Sonntag zum Mittagessen. Restaurant sauber und aufgeräumt. Bedienung komplett überfordert. Warten auf Getränke Bestellung 30 Minuten. Essen eine 0/10. Qualität war eine reine Katastrophe. Ich empfehle jeden der Hunger hat, fahrt lieber 100 Meter weiter zum McDonalds.

Habe das Hotel spontan und sehr kurzfristig auf der Durchreise gebucht. Erreichbar ist das Hotel innerhalb weniger Minuten von der Autobahn. Parkplätze sind ausreichend, kostenlos und direkt vor dem Haus verfügbar. Der Check-In funktioniert tadellos. Ich hatte ein Einzelzimmer gebucht, welches sich im ersten Stock zur Rückseite (nicht zum See) befand. Das Zimmer hatte einen kleinen Balkon, auf welchem man die Ruhe genießen konnte. Die Sauberkeit im Zimmer und im Bad war tadellos. Die Einrichtung und das Mobiliar ist sehr schlicht und einfach gehalten, für meine Zwecke aber ausreichend. Mein Bett war mehr aus ausreichend groß und für meine Verhältnis sehr sehr bequem. Steckdosen für Laptop und Handy sind nur hinterm TV oder untern Schreibtisch zu finden. Im Restaurant konnte ich zu Abend essen, welche aus einer kleinen aber feinen Karte gewählt werden konnte. Das Essen war tadellos und preislich sehr ok. Bedienung freundlich, schnell und sehr bemüht um das Wohl der Gäste. Essen mit Salat als Vorspeise plus zwei Getränke unter 30 Euro ist absolut in Ordnung. Ich war satt :-) Frühstück einfach, aber ausreichend. Kaffee und Cappuccino war lecker. Preislich hatte mein DZ mit Frühstück 75 Euro für eine Nacht gekostet, was für mich völlig in Ordnung ist. Ich würde wieder kommen, denn die Lage ist top.

Wir waren als Ehepaar im Februar für zwei Tage Freitag bis Sonntag dort zu Gast. Die Lage der Hotels ist traumhaft ruhig am See gelegen . Parkplätze sind ausreichend vorhanden. Die Begrüßung und der Checkin verliefen zügig und freundlich. Wir hatten ein Komfort Doppelzimmer mit Balkon gebucht. Das Zimmer und die Nasszelle waren einwandfrei sauber und ordentlich. Vom Balkon hat man einen schönen Blick auf den See. Aber , das Mobiliar ist recht schlicht und einfach gehalten. Die Matratze für meinen Geschmack zu weich . Es gibt tatsächlich im Badezimmer nur eine Steckdose und im Schlafzimmer muss man auf die Suche gehen um dann schlussendlich eine zu finden. Das entspricht dem heutigen Stand der Dinge nicht mehr. Ist aber zu gekraften. Die Möglichkeit das Zimmer zu verdunkeln ist wie bei den Möbel auf das einfachste reduziert. Allgemein kann man in diesem Zimmer ruhig schlafen, vor allem war es sauber. Aber ein Komfort Zimmer erkennt man nicht. Das Frühstück ist wie auch die Zimmer schlicht und einfach gehalten. Es gibt leider nur zwei Sorten Brötchen und eine Sorte Brot. Zusätzlich noch Knäckebrot. Wenn man Pech hat ist die zweite Sorte Brötchen vergriffen. Ansonsten gibt es die üblichen Beläge . Dort ist soweit alles gut, ohne erwas besondere .Es gibt allerdings auch Rührei und Speck. Wir haben an den beiden Tagen abends im Hotel zu Abend gegessen. Die Karte ist angemessen groß. Die Speisen waren immer sehr lecker und empfehlenswert. Satt wurde man auch. Die junge Dame vom Service ist wirklich sehr nett und freundlich. Obwohl am zweiten Abend eine grösse Geburtstags Gesellschaft dort zu Gast war und die Dame alleine zu bedienen hatte , erledigte Sie dieses sehr souverän und freundlich. Dafür ein großes Lob. Insgesamt kann man das Hotel durchaus empfehlen. Man kann sich dort wohlfühlen.

Ein sehr ruhig gelegenes Hotel, sehr gemütlich und einladend. Die Zimmer sind sauber, das Bad auch, leider etwas alt. Schöner kleiner Balkon mit Blick zum kleinen See auf dem man Enten und Gänse beobachten kann. Die Küche ist sehr gut bürgerlich, besonders die Rouladen sind empfehlenswert. Das Frühstück ist für diese Preisklasse 1A. Geht leider nicht für ältere, gehbehinderte Personen, da kein Aufzug.

Schade, hat sich zum negativen hin entwickelt. Keine ansprechende Eiskarte, Kellner kam zweimal am Tisch vorbei um zu sagen,, komme gleich. Beim dritten Mal hatten wir keine Karte. Nach der Bestellung kamen zwei Kugeln Eis mit Sahne Gefüllt mit anderen Sorten als wir bestellt hatten. Am Küchenbuffet waren nur Drei Sorten zur Auswahl. Es kam dann alles nacheinander in großen Abstand. Eis war zerlaufen als der Kaffe kam. Kaffee war kalt als der Kuchen kam Alles in allem KATASTROPHE. Schade, dass es so gelitten hat.

Als Hotel - super, als Restaurant - nicht empfehlenswert. Das Zimmer war sehr sauber und gemütlich, die Lage ist top, das Personal freundlich und nett. Aber das Abendessen war ein Fiasko. Ich habe Pasta mit Lachs bestellt, da war überhaupt keine Soße drin, einfach wässrige und übergekochte Nudeln, mit Lachsstücken, die nicht besonders vertrauenswürdig ausgeschaut haben und etwas Käse. Das Essen meines Mannes war etwas besser, aber auch nur okay. Für diese Qualität noch absolut überteuert! Das Frühstück war aber in Ordnung, da kann man zum Glück nicht viel falsch machen. Alles in allem gibt es in der Küche noch viel Luft nach oben, hoffentlich wird es geklärt und verbessert.

Wir waren zum Jahreswechsel 2025/2026 in Wagners Seehotel. Die Zimmer waren sauber und entsprechend ausgestattet. Betten bequem und nicht durchgelegen. Handtücher wurden jeden Tag gewechselt und wenn man trotz Feiertage eine Zimnerreinigung wünschte wurde sie durchgeführt. Personal sehr freundlich. Frühstück immer ausreichend und alles frisch angerichtet. Beim Silvester Menue gab es allerdings mit Vorspeise und Suppe ein Desaster, was keinesfalls mit dem Preis im Verhältnis stand. Konnte am Neujahrsmorgen geklärt werden, der Preis wurde zu gunsten des Gastes angepasst. Gute Wandermöglichkeiten und gute Ausflugsziele in der Nähe erreichbar. Für ein kurz Urlaub zu empfehlen.

It's a really lovely hotel where you can spend a pleasant time enjoying coffee and cake. It reminded me a bit of the book "Coffee at the Edge of the World." The rooms were very clean. The only drawback was the evening meal, which unfortunately was just reheated food.

A nice, small, clean hotel with beautiful rooms in a great location. Very friendly staff. The breakfast was excellent; otherwise, we ate out. We spent a lovely weekend there and can recommend it without reservation.

We visited the restaurant for lunch. The dishes were really nothing special. The tortellini served in butter with pine nuts tasted of nothing. My mother's chicken breast strips on her salad were tough. My daughter's pasta with tomato sauce simply tasted of ketchup...boring. I could have cooked it that way at home. We won't be coming here for lunch again. The service was polite. The house by the lake is also beautiful with the pond and animals. Unfortunately, very disappointed.

A few years ago, we enjoyed going to this restaurant, but today was our last visit. We had to wait forever for our order, and then just as long for the food and drinks. When the food finally arrived, the fries were way too salty and the schnitzel had no flavor at all.

We've been coming here for several years. It's always top-notch. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The rooms are very nice. The location is right on the lake. Highly recommended.

From the available parking to the rooms, everything was satisfactory. The breakfast selection was very good and varied. The menu was less extensive, although what was available was excellent. The star deduction for the room is due to the lack of toothbrush cups. But all in all, the hotel can be recommended with a clear conscience.

Not recommended. We had to wait three times for a waitress, even though it took 30 minutes to place our order. We waited over an hour for our ice cream cone. Far too few waitresses for a holiday! Absolute disaster :)

The location by the lake is a dream. Beautiful. The rooms are neat and clean, with everything you need. The breakfast buffet is plentiful, but the bacon was not great. Much too soft. It should have been crispier. Unfortunately, the dinner wasn't tasty. The selection is small, which is fine in principle, but it should have been fresh. The schnitzels were frozen, which is okay, but they weren't tasty. The cream sauce, unfortunately, wasn't either. The sauce for the kids wasn't that tasty either. Otherwise, though, I can definitely recommend the stay.

We reserved a table for our birthday. The food was a la carte. A small menu - green flag. The food came out in a good time, but it was cold. I had schnitzel with fries. The schnitzel was cold, and the fries weren't that great either. The service was good and quick. But I certainly won't be coming here for the food again. There's a McDonald's next door, so it might be better there.

Breakfast on Mondays isn't until 8 a.m.? Very inconvenient for business travelers! The hotel reception is half in the restaurant. My room was really big, though! I couldn't find a power outlet by the bed. Vending machine in the stairwell.

Unfortunately, since Christmas 2024, performance has gotten worse with every visit. Today we have been waiting for our food for over 1.5 hours and there is no end in sight. 3 waiters constantly rushing around. But no one clears the tables, so if you want to order something else you have to call for the waitress every time. That was the last visit!

Nice hotel with the wrong operator. We booked one night in a double room directly after making a telephone inquiry. The quiet location by the lake with a restaurant seemed ideal. On arrival: Everything is dark - no one on site. And then a sign: “Closed on Wednesday and Thursday”. Pressing the doorbell several times without any response. Then there is a phone number on a piece of paper that you should call if you arrive late (it wasn't even 6 p.m.). Then called there via cell phone, whereupon a lady from Oberhof (!!) answered and after the 3rd attempt released a key in a key box. Nice spacious and clean room with bathroom with shower. The windows can only be darkened slightly, so that the room was bright as day from 6 a.m. onwards. No bar, Not even a self-service refrigerator, just nothing!! The next morning there was actually a breakfast buffet, but there was still room for improvement in terms of selection and quality. But you get full. When booking there is no indication that Weds and Thurs are closed and the restaurant is not in operation. Can only be found on the homepage after a long search under the topic “restaurant”. When we later returned from an external restaurant visit, other guests were standing in front of the closed door, completely annoyed and perplexed or angry. Conclusion: It doesn't work that way - we won't be coming back anyway.

Hello. Was there for coffee on Sunday afternoon around 3 p.m. The restaurant is very cozy and you have a nice view of the lake. The coffee and cake were very tasty and cost a total of 6.80. I was disappointed with my chosen additional option “With cream 2.00 euros”. Not only was it made of spray cream but it was downright puny for the price. Diameter 6cm x 3cm high. I would have liked to have done without it. Otherwise everything was great. The prices for coffee and cake are reasonable, and I would say that the prices for ice cream sundaes are slightly above the market average.

Quiet hotel at the end of a dead end street. Located directly on a small lake at the edge of the forest. No luxury but clean, good accommodation! We felt comfortable. The breakfast was good, what you want! Small fresh raw vegetable salads as a highlight. We didn't eat dinner, we ate it outside. However, the prices on the small menu are fair.

I'm only reviewing the restaurant here. Unfortunately, that was one of the worst meals I've eaten in a long time. Ordered the chicken curry. Food came after 5 minutes. First red flag! This is a sign that everything has already been completely cooked and is just being heated up. Food basically floated in water. Nothing with curry or other spices. It just didn't taste like anything. Meat was completely dry (understandable when it has been simmering for hours). Not even the rice was freshly cooked. Is it asking too much? It's a shame that there is no emphasis on fresh preparation... it couldn't have been worse. Portion was also quite small for the price. We knew the location because we come from the neighboring town. However, the service was top! Nevertheless, we won't come back here unless a new chef comes to the kitchen.

Very nicely located hotel. Very friendly staff. Spacious clean rooms. Food in the restaurant recommended. Unfortunately, the sauna has not been available in the house for 2 years. To date, the homepage has not been renewed. The rowing boats are also lying on the edge of the bank and look unused. Too bad.

Delightful hotel in a quiet location. With a small balcony, view of the lake. It's a shame that the breakfast buffet wasn't that appealing. Cold eggs and bacon, 10 different types of cheese for cheese lovers, but only sausage felt like black pudding and that at 7.30 in the morning.

This lakeside hotel is simply wonderful! 😍 The owners are so nice and helpful, you immediately feel at home. The rooms are cozy and super clean, with a great view of the lake and the nature around. The braised ox cheek and beef roulade in this restaurant are really delicious! The atmosphere here is totally relaxed, the air is wonderfully fresh. Our stay here was simply unforgettable and we would love to come back any time!♥️♥️♥️

Unfortunately I can't give a single star, but apparently you have to in order to be able to rate it at all. Today I wanted to have lunch with my father, who is over 70 years old, after making a reservation in advance. We had to wait an hour and 15 minutes for the food. The food arrived and was not heated evenly, suggesting that the goulash was heated in the microwave. So sorry, this waiting time and then serving meat that is essentially ice cold...?! Seriously?? We left the restaurant hungry.

Despite the lack of staff, very friendly and competent service. The cake is particularly delicious... and compared to the price/performance ratio, you haven't paid so little for the quality in a long time.

I went for ice cream with my girlfriend. The weather was sunny, it had rained a bit beforehand. We wanted to sit on the terrace, but unfortunately it wasn't open. Actually incomprehensible. The ice cream and service were very good.

Quiet location, simple rooms, but clean. Our room was sea facing. Our friends had a room facing the mountain, which was unfortunately somehow located directly above the kitchen. There was a smell and a dull monotonous noise (cooling?), for the same price. A socket by the bed would be nice. WiFi not always available, not that bad. We had a very nice table in the restaurant one evening. Unfortunately, everything took a long time, but everyone was very friendly. I think a smaller menu is good, it shows the freshness of the dishes. Unfortunately, the Thuringian dumplings were only lukewarm and a bit bland. My meal was otherwise very tasty.

Nice little hotel located right on the water, from the restaurant you have a wonderful view of the small lake. There are plenty of parking spaces, rooms are clean and very quiet, there could be a few more sockets. The staff is consistently extremely friendly and very attentive. Breakfast buffet is plentiful and tasty, the restaurant is also highly recommended, the menu is a bit small but there is an additional dish of the day... everyone will be full. We would come here again at any time and can recommend it without hesitation.

I arrived at the hotel at night, had not been given a key code or anything similar in advance, was standing in front of locked doors and the number for late check-in could not be reached. Unfortunately I spent the night in the car. When asked, the night was not refunded. Unfortunately I was very disappointed and can absolutely not recommend this hotel; I expect a different service and treatment of customers from a hotel in such cases

Yesterday we were guests at Wagners Seehotel for our company party! The food was very tasty and the service was very friendly, as you would expect and unfortunately this is not a given! Wir waren zum Mittagessen dort, somit kann ich zu den Zimmern nichts sagen. Obwohl wir nicht reserviert hatten, konnten wir uns einen Platz aussuchen, da absolut nichts los war. Die Karte ist Recht klein und bietet nicht wirklich eine Auswahl, am besten vorher im Internet auf deren Seite nach der Speisekarte schauen. Das Essen war etwas fade, so das beide noch nachwürzen mussten, was selten vorkommt und die Portionen waren für den Preis etwas klein

Zu den Zimmern kann ich nichts schreiben, die kenne ich nicht auch zu den Speisen kann ich nichts beitragen, außer das es für Schleusingen recht teuer ist. Wir waren zum Kaffe dort. Eigener Konditor und wirklich gute Torten und Kuchenangebote. Auch der Kaffe ist hervorragend. Freundliche Bedienung. Ist empfehlenswert.

Zimmer kann ich nicht bewerten da wir nur Essen waren. Ausgewählte Deutsche Speisen, sehr lecker.

Idyllisch am See gelegenes Hotel mit 2 Etagen (ohne Aufzug-die Treppe ist Fitnessprogramm), freundliche Zimmer mit Balkonen zum See oder ins Grüne. Die Sauna war nicht verfügbar. Zimmerservice auf Anfrage. Sehr empfehlenswert ist hier die regionale Küche mit köstlichen Gerichten!
