“There is a house by the lake at the end of the street” is 100% true here. Located at the end of a dead end, so absolutely quiet. Staff in a great mood, room with balcony really great, bathroom super clean, food in the restaurant really tasty, will definitely come back

Delightful hotel in a quiet location. With a small balcony, view of the lake. It's a shame that the breakfast buffet wasn't that appealing. Cold eggs and bacon, 10 different types of cheese for cheese lovers, but only sausage felt like black pudding and that at 7.30 in the morning.

Since the change of ownership, it's worth visiting again - small menu but great quality, portions great👍🏻

This lakeside hotel is simply wonderful! 😍 The owners are so nice and helpful, you immediately feel at home. The rooms are cozy and super clean, with a great view of the lake and the nature around. The braised ox cheek and beef roulade in this restaurant are really delicious! The atmosphere here is totally relaxed, the air is wonderfully fresh. Our stay here was simply unforgettable and we would love to come back any time!♥️♥️♥️

Unfortunately I can't give a single star, but apparently you have to in order to be able to rate it at all. Today I wanted to have lunch with my father, who is over 70 years old, after making a reservation in advance. We had to wait an hour and 15 minutes for the food. The food arrived and was not heated evenly, suggesting that the goulash was heated in the microwave. So sorry, this waiting time and then serving meat that is essentially ice cold...?! Seriously?? We left the restaurant hungry.

Despite the lack of staff, very friendly and competent service. The cake is particularly delicious... and compared to the price/performance ratio, you haven't paid so little for the quality in a long time.

I went for ice cream with my girlfriend. The weather was sunny, it had rained a bit beforehand. We wanted to sit on the terrace, but unfortunately it wasn't open. Actually incomprehensible. The ice cream and service were very good.

There are always delicious homemade cakes here 🥧. I can only recommend it. Many bakers and confectioners can learn a lesson here.

Quiet location, simple rooms, but clean. Our room was sea facing. Our friends had a room facing the mountain, which was unfortunately somehow located directly above the kitchen. There was a smell and a dull monotonous noise (cooling?), for the same price. A socket by the bed would be nice. WiFi not always available, not that bad. We had a very nice table in the restaurant one evening. Unfortunately, everything took a long time, but everyone was very friendly. I think a smaller menu is good, it shows the freshness of the dishes. Unfortunately, the Thuringian dumplings were only lukewarm and a bit bland. My meal was otherwise very tasty.

Nice little hotel located right on the water, from the restaurant you have a wonderful view of the small lake. There are plenty of parking spaces, rooms are clean and very quiet, there could be a few more sockets. The staff is consistently extremely friendly and very attentive. Breakfast buffet is plentiful and tasty, the restaurant is also highly recommended, the menu is a bit small but there is an additional dish of the day... everyone will be full. We would come here again at any time and can recommend it without hesitation.

I arrived at the hotel at night, had not been given a key code or anything similar in advance, was standing in front of locked doors and the number for late check-in could not be reached. Unfortunately I spent the night in the car. When asked, the night was not refunded. Unfortunately I was very disappointed and can absolutely not recommend this hotel; I expect a different service and treatment of customers from a hotel in such cases

Yesterday we were guests at Wagners Seehotel for our company party! The food was very tasty and the service was very friendly, as you would expect and unfortunately this is not a given! The quick illustrator Daniel Stieglitz provided the entertainment! All in all a successful evening! We would like to come again! Olaf Dobberkau

Very quiet location. The food is also highly recommended. The rooms are spacious and clean. Parking spaces are also plentiful. The breakfast is also completely sufficient for everyone. You can also quickly reach McDonald's on foot if you like fast food and Lidl is also nearby. Lovely again

I can't rate the room, it was only for lunch but the 2 dumplings and wild goullasch were very tasty and the service was quick and friendly

For me the last loading never again!!! Since Monday there has been no warm water coming out of the tap, only drops of white! Empty promises from staff still no hot water and other rooms

Für mich das letzte Laden nie wieder!!! Seit Montag keine warme Wasser aus Wasserhahn kommt nur Tropfen weiße! Leere versprechen von Personal immer noch keine warme Wasser und andere Zimmer ziehe jetzt aus

No lunch due to staff shortages. It's sad what happened to the hotel.

Wir waren zum Mittagessen dort, somit kann ich zu den Zimmern nichts sagen. Obwohl wir nicht reserviert hatten, konnten wir uns einen Platz aussuchen, da absolut nichts los war. Die Karte ist Recht klein und bietet nicht wirklich eine Auswahl, am besten vorher im Internet auf deren Seite nach der Speisekarte schauen. Das Essen war etwas fade, so das beide noch nachwürzen mussten, was selten vorkommt und die Portionen waren für den Preis etwas klein

Zu den Zimmern kann ich nichts schreiben, die kenne ich nicht auch zu den Speisen kann ich nichts beitragen, außer das es für Schleusingen recht teuer ist. Wir waren zum Kaffe dort. Eigener Konditor und wirklich gute Torten und Kuchenangebote. Auch der Kaffe ist hervorragend. Freundliche Bedienung. Ist empfehlenswert.

Zimmer kann ich nicht bewerten da wir nur Essen waren. Ausgewählte Deutsche Speisen, sehr lecker.

Idyllisch am See gelegenes Hotel mit 2 Etagen (ohne Aufzug-die Treppe ist Fitnessprogramm), freundliche Zimmer mit Balkonen zum See oder ins Grüne. Die Sauna war nicht verfügbar. Zimmerservice auf Anfrage. Sehr empfehlenswert ist hier die regionale Küche mit köstlichen Gerichten!

Leider können wir wenig Gutes über dieses Hotel berichten. Am Tag unserer Übernachtung fand eine Hochzeit statt, was bedeutete, dass das Restaurant für uns nicht zugängig war, und dass bis spät in die Nacht sehr laut gefeiert wurde. Trotz telefonischem Kontaktes vor Anreise zwecks Terminabsprache hat man uns leider nicht über diesen Umstand informiert. Etwas verwirrt hat uns auch die Tatsache, dass wir bereits bei Anreise bezahlen sollten, da angeblich am kommenden Morgen niemand für die Abrechnung da wäre. Die Zimmer waren nicht wirklich sauber, ebenso wie die "Terrasse". Die Lage des Hotel ist schön. Der angefragte Motorradstellplatz war leider nur ein Außenplatz unter Bäumen. Wir können dieses Hotel leider nicht empfehlen. Punkte gibt es nur für die Lage und das Frühstück.

Super freundlich, tolle ,leckere hausgemachte Kuchen

Wir waren dort zum Mittagessen und haben auch spontan noch einen Tisch mit Ausblick auf den kleinen See bekommen. Essen war sehr lecker und wir waren sehr zufrieden.

War mal das beste Haus weit und breit, hat aber nachgelassen, Daher gibt es auch reduzierte Öffnungszeiten, wobei ich nicht verstehe, weshalb die thüringer Gastronomen glauben, dass die Kunden generell am Wochenanfang fasten wollen. Im Sommer lädt auch der See zu einem Spaziergang ein.

Wir hatten das ganz große Pech , das gleichzeitig eine Hochzeitsfeier genau unter unserem Zimmer die ganze Nacht tobte , kein Verantwortlicher da war, der die Lautstärke hätte regulieren können und an einen erholsamen Schlaf absolut nicht zu denken war !!! Vielen Dank dafür . Desweiteren befindet sich kein Kühlschrank/ Minikühlschrank auf dem Zimmer , wo mein Mann hätte seine Medikamente kühl aufbewahren können.

Bei unserer Ankunft im Hotel am See wurden wir sehr kühl empfangen.Kein "herzlich willkommen oder angenehmen Aufenthalt". Wir vergeben 5 Sterne für das Personal im Restaurant.Das Frühstück war lecker,aber mit dem Auffüllen des Buffets lässt zu wünschen übrig. Nun ist es ein Jahr her das wir dieses Hotel besuchten. Der unfreundliche Herr an der Rezeption scheint nicht mehr da zu sein... Ich wünsche den neuen Herrn des Hotels alles Gute.

Nur zum Essen da, es gab klösse mit sauce, das war ok, aber der Salat..... welk, null Geschmack dafür viel zu einseitig und sehr ölig.Die Bedienung Topp.

Die Lage ist wunderschön ! Hier könnte mehr gemacht werden im Außenbereich ! Zimmer müssten überholt werden!

Tolle Lage, Zimmer war prima. Leider die Boote nicht zu benutzen. Essen, wenn es denn endlich ankam, gut. Koch kam etwas durcheinander. Frühstück war gut, lecker. Service, der arme Kerl hatte alleine eine Gruppe von 24 Personen zu bedienen.

Beautiful little hotel with great views. Room was clean and had a safe and locking cabinet, as well as a TV and plenty of windows. Next to a quaint little pond with trails and close to the town. Didn't have time to eat in the restaurant but the food looked and smelled delicious and there were quite a few people there enjoying the outdoor seating so it must be good. Easy to get in after dark when we came back from the fest/concert despite the front desk being closed... And still secure. Also a McDonald's nearby that is open until 11PM.

Das Essen war gut, aber der Kellner nervig mit seiner aufgesetzt freundlichen Art.

Quersumme aus quackenden Fröschen, Stechmücken und fehlender Klimatisierung. Das Essen ist auch nicht zu Empfehlen. Das Frühstück war gut.
