I had a vegetarian döner kebab, which unfortunately was extremely lacking in filling. (See photo; nothing had been eaten yet.) Compared to other places, the price is ridiculous. The cabbage was too bitter for my taste, but that's a matter of opinion.

I had a doner kebab for €7 that felt like it was just salad. On top of that, the meat wasn't even good. Honestly, not a good doner kebab.

Super friendly team. We've been eating there regularly for a while now and are always greeted warmly, with a free tea included! We feel at home there.

I often stop by this place when I'm downtown for a cup of aromatic coffee; it's delicious. My kids and I also ordered pizza and meat dishes, and we loved them too, thank you ❤️

Seitan (vegan) meal option. Meal in a bread or on a plate. Assortment of fesh vegetables, sauce, and protein choice. Nice portion size. On quiet side street. Everyone was very nice and helpful. Seating inside and out.

Extremely unhygienic! It was dirty everywhere. Birds were sitting right on the food – absolutely unacceptable. The staff wears gloves, but they use them for everything: preparing food, handling money, scratching their heads... This is completely unacceptable. I'm definitely not coming back.

The meat wasn't fresh; it had been sitting around for a while and was dry, hard pieces. They didn't even warm up the bread when I ordered it! That was the last time yesterday, and I'm sure I'm not the only one who's had this happen! Disgusting!

Very nice service, we were very warmly welcomed. My husband and I got a small tea for free, and our daughters got candy. The only downside was the rather dirty toilet. The food was very good and we got it very quickly.

Nice staff, but unfortunately, I can't recommend the food. It wasn't very tasty, and the bowl barely contained any of the actual ingredients, instead containing other ingredients that weren't even listed on the menu. And even though you order the food to eat in, you get disposable packaging.

This used to be one of my favorite kebab shops, but now I can only advise against it. Got old meat even though the wish was expressed to get fresh from the spit.

Very nice staff. There is a really big selection. There's also a large vegan selection - even baklava! The price is fair. The vegetables are very fresh. If you eat it on site you will also receive a chai. Very nice.

Were here at lunchtime on Easter Monday, which is probably why the shop was empty. Large selection of different dishes. Had two normal chub plates, one with fries. The other didn't even have bread, which I don't know. Portions were decent and tasted completely fine. There was also free tea, which was always refilled. In the end, two plates with fries were charged. (It was 1 euro more). Assume that the service and preparation depends on the number of customers. Conclusion here too...just try it yourself.

The bread I received for my kebab was torn on all sides and not even crispy. The meat wasn't freshly cut either, but had been sitting for quite a while. I also had to pay an extra €1 just because I wanted mixed meat. Unfortunately, the sauces didn't taste good either, and the salad was full of water - that was clearly noticeable while eating. All in all, unfriendly and dishonest employees. The taste of the kebab was really disappointing. I wouldn't even have given it one star!

I haven't experienced such disappointment in a long time. At €7 for a very small kebab you would at least expect it to taste like kebab. Both the meat and the sauce had a taste that was not comparable to kebab.

I've just come from the shop and the service made me very upset - they only spoke in Arabic and the meat felt raw even though we mentioned several times that they should please make it crispier and increase the heat. When we paid, we paid more than we were supposed to, but we didn't find out until later when we were on our way home

Great shop in a good inner-city location. The selection of food is displayed on screens, which I really liked. Inspired by the pictures of the food, I ordered a kebab plate with fries. The taste of the dish was below average. The fries were very soft. The kebab meat is barely cooked through. Unfortunately, the black olives and hot peppers shown on the screen were not part of the meal, although they were available on display. In general, the dish differed visually from the image on offer. The shop used to be a safe haven for a delicious kebab. This time he didn't convince me.

Didn't expect anything, but still disappointed

Why does a small kebab box cost more than a normal kebab? I ordered a kebab box with seitan. Sides tasted good, but there were only 2 small pieces in the box?? The salad tasted like it was 79% onions and something about the sauces reminded me of the smell of a nail salon...

The Dürüm bread was way too sweet and there wasn't enough sauce, so the whole thing was pretty dry. The meat was also extremely dry – almost like a chip. In addition, the man behind the counter was unfriendly, not just for a short time, but for a long period of time while we were sitting in the store. Unfortunately not a good experience.

Got a kebab today, shortly after opening and got diarrhea again

There was an additional surcharge to the cost of the order. Either for the service or for the “free” tea. Instead of 15 euros we paid 20.

Service great. You will be served tea when you are there. Children received a small portion of fries. However, the price-performance ratio is no longer given. 7€ for a kebab which is quite small.

I got a kebab here. Not exactly cheap at €7. But in terms of taste, it was really in the bottom league. Somehow it tasted almost like nothing. It went very quickly and I hardly had to wait at all.

Super tasty kebab! I can especially recommend the kebab box – juicy meat, crispy fries. The restaurant is clean, offers enough space for groups, and the service is fast. Hardly any waiting time, and as a bonus there was a delicious chai at the end. 10/10, gladly again!😼🙏

Friendly staff Large selection of food Fresh, crisp salad, pita, pizza and much more. Lots of screens offered. Plenty of toppings with around 8 different sauces to choose from. Quick preparation. Free tea, which is also refilled. Very hospitable.

The kebab plate was disappointing and carelessly presented - just the standard ingredients such as cabbage, cucumbers and tomatoes, without olives, feta or anything that corresponded to the picture on the menu. The delicious falafel and the tea on the house should be positively highlighted. However, there are now much better alternatives in the city. A maximum of two stars from me.

December 31, 2024 7 euros doner kebab. So a kebab in an upscale price range. Average taste. Portion small. Choice of sauces very good. Standard flatbread, thin layer of meat then lots of salad. Price performance is not right here, compared to other kebab shops.

Was here because of my previous positive experiences. I'm really impressed with the food this time too. Great quality, pleasant portions, great value for money and super friendly staff. Thanks. I will definitely come here again on my next visit to Leipzig.

Fast service, nice staff, top kebab plate.

Unfortunately one of the worst kebabs I've ever eaten. Bread wasn't baked well and the salad was already old... And despite the fact that we ate the kebab on site, it was immediately cold :(

The House of Aladin offers fresh Turkish food and a great selection. I immediately felt at home and was warmly served. "Yum, yummy!" (Will you hear :-) )

We spontaneously decided to eat here. Rarely have we been welcomed so warmly. The boss first gave us some tea. 🤗 This is no longer a given... clear menu and vegan kebab is also offered for vegans. The food is hot and fresh. Delicious sauces and a good portion of meat on the kebab. Highly recommended in terms of food, which is also reflected in the constant flow of visitors. 👍 as a little tip... the seating furniture could be replaced and it is very tight in the store.

The food tasted really good. Everything is fresh, portions are really big. The boys served at a wedding. All guests were enthusiastic and satisfied.

Had four days, dunno. fever and cramps. There is also an advertisement outside that doesn't make kebab more beautiful, it just makes you green in the face. Somehow a lot of strange people in the store. Very unpleasant. Never again.

Ordered sweet potato fries and when I was already outside I realized that I had been given normal fries, unfortunately I forgot to check first. Went back and said this - it said that the fries were given because the sweet potato fries were empty... so I would have liked to have received information about that beforehand! Also, for €5.50, it's a pretty small portion, and mushy at that

Relatively small plate of kebab for my habits (10 euros) and not a great taste either. The fries weren't crispy, just a bit too greasy and the meat dried out quickly. Nice staff, but one expectation wasn't quite met. Certainly ok for a quick lunch break.

I paid by card, card payment apparently didn't work because it was overloaded, whatever! I finally paid in cash and two days later I saw by chance that the debit had been made with a card. AUDIENCE and RIP-OFF!!!!

In my opinion, the shop is relatively unclean (tables often not wiped down, dirty sugar shakers with wasps in them, smelly ashtrays on the tables everywhere). Doner kebab is quite small and also dry because there is usually not enough sauce on it. Apart from that, people also like to put the wrong sauces on them. Overall, unfortunately, there is a lot of room for improvement.

It was my favorite years ago but then I only see a lot less meat in the kebab where prices have risen. Never again.

Aladin was always a fixed address before going to the cinema - until now. The seitan in the seitan-dürüm had maybe 20 seconds. Seen fat, he was correspondingly cold and limp. The sauce was tasteless (very thin hummus) and the guys there threw the dürüm together so carelessly that it fell apart when first unpacked. OK, not much fell out, there was hardly anything in it. and the kebab with grilled vegetables? the vegetables are fried… 😝 meal.

Unfortunately our expectations were not met. Vegan kebab to choose from, but unfortunately only very little seitan. Unfortunately he was just ok. The ambience was just ok, the toilet wasn't clean, rather unpleasant. But the employees were friendly.

What they now offer here is absolutely disgusting :( I was a big fan of the shop for years, even though it used to be better not to order shortly before closing time (the meat and salad from the kebab was very bad). The chilli cheese kebab used to always be a guaranteed stomach ache but still my absolute standard order, simply because it was something unusual, which was simply delicious with the cheese sauce and the jalapeños 😋. My last order here will remain my LAST FOREVER. The prices have been increased (now 8€ ) which in itself isn't even the problem. The size of the kebab has shrunk by half 😡 and the new cheese sauce has nothing to do with cheese and is simply disgusting tries to completely scam customers who have few other options for eating kebab in the city center. The shop has now developed into a "once and never again" shop.

Instead of kebab, salad bag would be a more appropriate name. For 7€ a disgrace

I came back after 13 years and the döner was still as delicious as when I first tried. It’s worth 100% the visit. The staff is super friendly and they gave us hot tea after the meal, just perfect.

We ordered for a company party (approx. 250MA), for the quality and service it's just a shame to ask for so much money. There was more salad than meat in the kebab. And this kebab is not tasty either.

Doner itself was great, unfortunately the meat was cold. 1 star because my colleague thought the kebab was so tasty that he ate it all and I couldn't eat the rest. Otherwise 5 stars

Compared to other kebabs, the taste is significantly worse, but the price is higher. The sauce used here is very fatty and has a consistency similar to water. The meat was slightly burnt. The service was rather unfriendly, at least very unmotivated. The use of cutting robots seems unnecessary and is a time waster.
