Fui a Hatay y pedí un Adana y pregunté específicamente cuánto sería simplemente tener alitas de pollo sin arroz y ensalada. El camarero me dijo que serían 9 euros por solo las alitas de pollo. Las alitas de pollo no eran grandes y no tenían ningún sabor. Cuando me llegó la factura me cobraron más de 19 euros por las alitas de pollo. Le pregunté al camarero por qué el precio era alto por las alitas de pollo y me dijo que ese era su precio. El otro camarero que me dijo las alas por sí mismo sería 9 euros mintió y me dijo que no daba ese precio y el camarero que estaba con él estaba gritando haciendo una escena. Era mi primera vez y Berlín y una de mis peores experiencias. No voy a volver y no recomendaría

We are from Dresden, we have a small family trip to Berlin, by pure chance we ended up in Hatay restorant, the food tasted fantastic, especially Kaburga service in high class. Next time we go on a trip to Berlin, we'll eat again in Hatay.

We went to Hatay restaurant by chance, just looking for a Turkish restaurant in Berlin and we spent a wonderful evening : not only the food is delicious and fresh and the personnel very kind but the ambiance is very nice. Ismael served us very kindly ! By chance a singer with violon was there . I recommend warmly ! 🤩🤩🤩

The portions are large enough, the food is really good and the staff is above average and they work hard and do justice to the job they do. The prices are a little higher, but the taste is worth it. The food they served me was burnt. When I told them about the situation, they immediately replaced it with a new one and sent me an appetizer plate as an apology. Great restaurant we discovered on our last night in Berlin. It was one of the best meats I have eaten abroad or even at home. The menu is very rich, everything we ate was delicious. We ordered Lentil Soup, Adana Kebab, Beyti and Lamb Shish. Bread and salad were served as a service, a type of service we have never seen abroad. Prices are a little high but in line with the Berlin average. The place is so decent and high quality that it is quite acceptable to eat something at a higher price than the döner restaurants that do not even have seating. The employees were very attentive and friendly, I am very sorry for not asking the names of the service personnel because they all deserve separate thanks. I would like to thank Ms. Bahar and all the staff, with whom we had the opportunity to have a short chat.

It was three of us and none of us was pleased with our food. I had a yoghurt kebab. The bread underneath was stale, meat was bland and tomato sauce on top was too oily. We didn't enjoy it as expected from the reviews. I do not recommend this place.

Salata, breads, tea and chicken shish were perfect for me. Super nice turkish supermarket in front this nice restaurant. I felt no homesick feeling luckily. I visited this restaurant 2 times. 2nd visit, chicken was a bit burn, told waiter and he did not care much. Bread was not fresh in my 2nd visit. They may improve a bit.

I swear on everything, I have never met such unsympathetic kebab men!!!!!!! Sooooo nice to every Turk. I stand behind it and want to order and he denies me every wish I had! Just wanted freshly cut meat like the people before me! He kind of freaks out and tells me it can't be done! I will never go there again in my life! Each one of them should do a different job. As you know, kebab men should make your day better and not literally shout at you and insult you!

It is not a big place, but it is a spacious, clean and tidy place. Even though there is grilling inside, ventilation is good. You don't smell grilled food and you don't feel uncomfortable. The food is visually beautiful and delicious. Portions are filling. I recommend.

I come from Augsburg, have eaten in almost all restaurants in Berlin for the last three years, and I'm always drawn to Hatay Ocakbaşı. I think the service is perfect, the waiters are very friendly and accommodating, they keep an eye on all the guests, a quick eye contact is enough for you to be spoken to immediately, the waiter Veysel has everything in the customer area and the kitchen under control, any extra wishes are implemented immediately, the food is so good that my wife and I are always happy to eat here again, a big thank you to the kitchen, what I always recommend is the mixed meze, which tastes very good and since the bread is baked here everything tastes even better, it makes you very hungry with me, because I've tried almost everything here and everything is recommended. We really liked the Adana wrap and lentil soup. The dishes were not adaptations, but were based on the original tastes of our country. When we went to the restaurant, we encountered tourists from different countries. We are happy to see that Turkish flavors are well represented.

The only restaurant we could find that was open till 02:00. The waiter was extremely helpful and friendly, the food was delicious. Saved us from starving in the best way possible!

Nicest restaurant, with the greatest service. I just wanted to quickly charge my phone because my battery was dead. I was offered tea straight away and everyone was so incredibly friendly. I haven't met such friendly people in Berlin for a long time, it made my day better and made me smile.

There were four of us eating. My wife ordered lamb fillet, which was definitely not lamb. The meat was very tough and rubbery, cutting it was very laborious. Unfortunately, the quality of the food left a lot to be desired that evening. I found the evening program much worse. There is live music played with the meal, which sounds nice first and foremost. The guitarist tries to entertain by walking past the tables and animating the guests. However, he does this in a very intrusive way, of course also under the influence of alcohol. As a guest I felt very uncomfortable because he was too close to me and touched my head with his hand and shook it. I found that very disrespectful and indecent, not a recommendation from me and not worth a visit.

We enjoyed it very much! Although we didn't have a reservation on a very busy Sunday, a table was set up especially for us. We were always served in a friendly manner by lovely Izmael. Even with a small 2-year-old child, you were warmly welcomed and the child was always given toys/balloons to keep them entertained. Great! We'd love to come back

We ate Adana kebab, beyti wrap, chicken shish and iskender. We thought the food was quite delicious, we were satisfied. We also really liked the atmosphere. The staff works very fast and is friendly. I would especially like to thank Mr. Veysel for his interest.

Everyone's food, two colleagues came later, was really very good. The facility actually invites you to visit. What irritated me, because I know it differently from the catering industry, was that men were always served before the women. The main courses were all really very good. Price/performance is also absolutely top.

The food was good, but the restaurant is very cramped, the cash register section is not separated, the sounds of people talking in the kitchen can be heard from the adjacent tables, and we were exposed to the chaos that the boss (I'm not sure) caused to the employees, especially while eating.

We went to this restaurant with our two small children and absolutely loved it! The child-friendliness was exceptional. Staff was so warm and attentive. The food was an absolute highlight, super tasty and prepared with a lot of love. The ambience was also beautiful, cozy and inviting. We felt completely comfortable and will definitely come back. Absolute recommendation!

Solid Turkish restaurant near Checkpoint Charlie. The food is authentic and you can tell that locals go there as there tons of Turks drinking Raki there! Definitely get one of the kebabs and their cheese, paired lovely with Turkish wine! Also, book a reservation in advance as it gets crowded.

Simply perfect dinner with friends! We chose this restaurant based on the reviews and I must say that it really deserves a lot! If you want to try typical Turkish cuisine in a clean environment, with super friendly and professional staff, and top quality raw materials, Hatay is the place for you! DELICIOUS perfect value for money. As an entree they bring a mixed salad with various condiments combined with fantastic bread, I recommend the kofte, finally, offered by the house, they bring their typical tea, excellent as an accompaniment to meals.

Best Turkish grill I’ve had during my Europe trip. The lamb chops were so tender and juicy, while they smelled so good. Can’t believe there is such a good restaurant in the tourist area. The price is also affordable.

In the afternoon, when the restaurant wasn't quite full, the service dropped off very quickly. After the food was served we were no longer noticed. Among other things, they had the Iskender. The worst kebab I've ever eaten. Like damp, seasoned wrapping paper. While the chefs drank Cola from 0.33 liter bottles, we got a watery, almost transparent broth in a glass. Very disappointing.

Terrible. Served cold and very slow. A tourist trap and expensive.

When we went to Berlin, I called them to find a familiar cuisine because my skin is allergic and they said they could help. They didn't even mention reservations etc. When we went later, they said there was no room, no problem, we went back. They didn't even accept the wait. When I called later, they said they were full for a month. Since you are so full, I wish you hadn't said you could help. I think you should look at alternative restaurants before going.

Went there at noon and asked for mixed kebab plate to taste all kebabs at once. I can say that I am not impressed. The pirzola was ok but the rest was mediocre. Nothing special about the food and service. To be honest, pricy for the whole experience even.

As an Australian visiting Germany, trying the Turkish cuisine at Hatay was worth while. The food was excellent, the service was exceptional especially since it was Christmas Eve and we didn’t book. Highly recommend this restaurant.

I reserved a table for three people in good time on November 22nd, 2024 for December 28th, 2024. Unfortunately my reservation was canceled for no reason. It's unfortunate but maybe it's better this way, they don't deserve it. I wouldn't recommend anyone.

Quality food: Perfect grilled chicken skewer, I also ordered Esme and a Sprite. And there was also a large side salad with freshly toasted flatbread. Everything very tasty! This Christmas, my family and I have decided to visit friends in Berlin. After a long day of exploring the beautiful city, we were hungry, and stumbled upon this cozy Turkish restaurant. Immediately drawn in by the delicious smell of grilled kebabs, the staff greeted us with friendly smiles, and quickly showed us to a table. Once we were taken to our table, we were given their menu, which offered a great variety of authentic Turkish dishes. After ordering, the food arrived very quickly, and I must say we were blown away by the flavors. The grilled meats were perfectly seasoned and juicy, and everything tasted super fresh and authentic. The portions were generous, and the prices were very reasonable for the quality and quantity of our food. Overall, this restaurant was the perfect end to our outing in Berlin. The authentic food, and great service, along with the restaurant's atmosphere brought us an authentic experience that we will forever remember as a highlight of our trip.

I can't wait until I express my thanks to that beautiful lady whose name I don't know. A centrally located nice restaurant, with a good selection. The only points of criticism on my part are the furnishings, which sometimes looked a bit cheap, and the menu, which doesn't focus much on vegetarian dishes. Overall, it more than deserves 4/5 stars. For the full 5 stars I miss the last perfections.

Food is very fresh and delicious! A lot of greens and meat - fresh and tasty! Love this place to warm up - it has hot tea and various alcohol drinks.

Since we come from out of town, we made reservations online in good time. However, about 2 weeks before our visit, the reservation was canceled by the restaurant without giving any reason. When we asked by phone, we were told that online reservations for that evening had been canceled, but they took ours over the phone and confirmed that we could come. However, when we arrived at the reserved time, we found out that there was no reservation for us. This one unsuccessful attempt to visit the restaurant will remain that way.

If you want to sit in the stink, like cold food and don't use the toilet, I might not give it five stars, my order wasn't implemented and therefore the price/performance ratio is disproportionate.

As a Hatay native, I was very pleased with the food, desserts and service at Hatay Ocakbaşı in Berlin. It will definitely be a repeat and of course I will recommend it with pleasure.

The menu is average and the atmosphere is nice. You can feel like you are in Turkey. Orders are received quickly, but they arrive very slowly (late). The flavors are not bad. We asked for tea after the meal, the waiter left, came back 5 minutes later and said, "Your tea is just brewing, let's serve coffee." We said okay, and the coffees came 15 minutes later. We said let's ask for the bill and it would come late, but it came right away. Just when we thought their service was fast, he took the bill and left, and we waited another 5-10 minutes for the change...

As a customer, I would like to be informed about this in advance or to cover the menu with dishes/drinks that are not available. I'll be happy to come back for dinner with my friends, but when it comes to service staff, it's best to think for yourself and follow your lead.
