Hatay Grill in Schopfheim

I bought coffee and it turned out to be the tastiest I drank in Germany.

Good service, good selection but not enough for the partion.. Otherwise nice atmosphere... And friendly service

This Hatay Grill has been here in Schopfheim for several decades. It started out as a kiosk size and has continued to evolve over the years. Today, as then, there are still the same totally friendly and hard-working people behind the counter. From Monday to Sunday, Schopfheim is served high-quality Turkish cuisine. The restaurant and the view into the kitchen convey a clean and very pleasant atmosphere.

The food has never been really excellent or particularly good, but what I had to experience today was hard to beat in terms of audacity. I had to throw away 3/4 of my €8 yufka because the “bread” (which they (probably) don't even make themselves, let alone fresh) was excessively dry and bland. I used to think that because there were so many walk-in customers, the things must be relatively fresh, but from now on I will only go to this store to buy tobacco or drinks (if necessary, of course) It's a shame, you used to be good!

I had a very good time with friends for dinner at Hatay Grill. The range of dishes is very well selected, but the menu is not unnecessarily overcrowded so that you have to think long and hard about what you want to eat. The food was excellent, the portions were more than sufficient and extremely tasty. The service is very friendly and accommodating and the location is also very pleasant and relaxing, so you can sit down at the table in peace with friends and family. The owner is also very warm. I would definitely like to come back.

Underground food. Döner plate with almost raw meat and raw fries, as well as dry and sandy salad. It's questionable how a shop like this can survive. It's better to walk a few meters further and go to the City Grill. It's better to spend your money in a real restaurant than in such an overpriced place.

Delicious döner served in a cozy, unpretentious setting with super friendly service. The meat is super tender and flavourful, the veggies are fresh and tasty, and the sauces are absolutely delicious. Always a good experience at Hatay!

First of all, the food is good. Unfortunately we wanted to eat outside. There were a lot of wasps, but when we asked if we could sit in with the children, we unfortunately said no. So it was not possible to enjoy the food. We then had it packed up and ate it half-cold at home. In addition, we paid 60 euros for two adults and two children. I think that's pretty tough for kebabs at the stall

I was there again last Wednesday, despite the relatively late time (9.30 p.m.) I was in the mood for kebab, I was asked if I had a bit of time and extra fresh flatbreads were baked. A very good, tasty kebab without any big faxes, well-seasoned meat, delicious sauce and crispy warm flatbread. This makes eating kebab even more fun! And thank you for the service!

Unfortunately, success has probably gone to their heads. Consistently good, consistently nice and personable for over 20 years. Since the “restaurant” was finished, both the quality and the family atmosphere have continued to decline. It's a real shame, I want the old Hatay snack bar back 😢

Unfortunately, on the boards where the food is shown, the veggie or vegan symbol is shown next to fries, halloumi and fallafel. Unfortunately, some of these products are made in the same deep fryer as the chicken chips. Unfortunately, the vegan or veggie symbols are incorrect.

The taste of the Köfte plate was okay, but the kebab disappointed me. The meat was an unusual color and didn't seem like real meat. When I asked for extra sauce, we were forced to have tzatziki instead. The salad seemed to come from a can and the salad dressing from a ready-made tube. The restaurant tries to present itself as classy, ​​but in my opinion it lacks authenticity in every way, starting with the construction. However, the service was great, very friendly. For me personally there is no reason to go there.

Really surprised at the cleanliness and quality of the food… Prices almost the same as in Switzerland near the border but as I said, the price is right.

A huge compliment to the waiter, super friendly and accommodating. The best I've had so far. The food was super tasty and beautifully prepared. I come from the catering industry myself and was impressed. My picky son (8 years old) was also super happy and was throwing compliments the whole time. You don't really expect much from a kebab shop, but Hatay is not an unknown quantity among the Schopfheim people. For years they have been entertaining passers-by, train arrivals and hungry people in and around Schopfheim at a really hot location. But they are friendly, have a great selection and the prices are absolutely right. Whether to take away or eat there. It is surprising to make yourself comfortable there and find a very friendly and attentive waiter. I followed Keller's recommendation and was not disappointed.

A la card with the house recommendation “Hatay Grill Teller” - was very good. Large portion, very tasty. Service friendly. There are enough parking spaces in the area (location is opposite the train station). The ambience is inviting at Gas, as everything was renovated a few years ago, including the menu.

It's really annoying that they're going to Schopfheim especially because of you and you're not there, you could at least announce it on the homepage or on Facebook!

To be honest, 5 years ago there wasn't a better kebab for me, but unfortunately it's no longer what it used to be. The kebab around the corner at Tahir is worlds better Update March 2024, now everything is fine again, very good, keep it up.

Wirklich der beste Döner weit und breit! Kostet vielleicht einen Euro mehr, ist seinen Preis aber definitiv wert. Alle sind super freundlich und bemüht. Komme gerne (und sitze auch gerne im „Garten“ oder im Gastraum)

Waren schon öfters dort. Diesmal wollten wir bei schönem Wetter draußen essen. Dort war aber alles zu. Wir hätten ja das Essen selbst an der Theke geholt. Besitzer war hierfür aber zu unflexibel. Sind also gegangen.

Absolut zu empfehlen, 6 Sterne! Ob Döner, der klassische Grillteller oder frittiertes Eis als Nachtisch, immer einen Besuch (aus der Schweiz) wert. Moderner Neubau mit einem großen Außenbereich. Perfekt am Bahnhof und an der Innenstadt gelegen. Man ist nicht nur Gast, sondern Teil der Familie. Guten Appetit - Afiyet olsun!

Sehr nette Bedienung. Super leckeres Essen. Pide riesengroß und lecker. Falafelteller auch sehr gut. Kann auch schön draussen sitzen.

Wer in Coronazeiten draußen und auch noch in der Nachsaison essen will, muss im Kleinen Wiesental leider lange und oft vergeblich suchen. Hier wurden wir fündig und fühlten uns rundum wohl: frisch zubereitet, sehr freundlich serviert, direkt am Park gelegen jetzt auch das neu eröffnete Restaurant, wo vor kurzem "nur" ein Imbiss stand. Sonderwünsche wurden superfreundlich verwirklicht. Das Essen erscheint für einen ehemaligen Imbiss hochpreisig, ist aber sein Geld wert. Und so freundlich, wie alle hier waren, sind wir im ganzen Wiesental nicht bedient worden. Allererste Empfehlung, wo Handwerker in der Mittagspause neben fröhlichen Senioren und neben japanischen Touristen gleichermaßen genießen.

Ob Döner, Yufka, Lahmacun oder Pizzen, man kann alles als gut bezeichnen. Bereits seit 20 Jahren komme ich immer wiedermal um mir was zu gönnen. Alle Mitarbeiter sind immer freundlich und die Wartezeiten sind nicht allzu lange.

Toller Imbiss, sauber und fast "immer" geöffnet. Das Angebot ist umfassend und qualitativ auf gutem Niveau. Preis- Leistungsverhältnis ist gut. Sehr freundlich und aufmerksam das ganze Team. Klare Empfehlung!

They are the only kebap in Schwarzwald area which knows what "spicy" means. I'm coming back every now and then, they have a lot in their menu, also vegan dishes. Would recommend to everyone.
