We went to this restaurant for the first time as a family and were very pleasantly surprised. As soon as we arrived we were greeted very nicely and hospitably. The menu had a nice and large selection. The food is excellent - even the children loved it and would like to come here more often. The ambience is very nice and the open oven definitely makes it really cozy and homely in winter. We'll definitely be back, thank you.

Unfortunately we choose this restaurant for dinner. Staff wasn’t friendly, or helpful and acted unprofessional (hygiene of staff/ yelling from the kitchen can be heard in the dining area). The worst part: Quality of the food was insufficient. The lack of cleanliness (outside area) only confirmed the overall impression. Tasteless furnishings and dried flowers are just as much a part of this as the too high prices. Unimaginative card with spelling errors. From a culinary point of view, it's in the "would-be" section.

Very friendly, attentive boss, who also does the main service. The lunchtime meal was prepared and served quickly and attractively. We had Schäufele and sour liver. Price performance is fair. Tasteful, home-style German cuisine. A very good and welcome addition to the existing restaurant offering in Schopfheim.

What can I say, eating was a no go, there was no chef, no taste, no love and too expensive. You should pay attention to the cleanliness of the restaurant, that's where it starts. Once and never again.

Ordered excellent veal cordon bleu. We were able to receive our food extremely punctually. With the starter of mixed salad and chanterelle cream soup we experienced a little gourmet journey through Schopfheim. The service was very polite and attentive. Always my pleasure.

Nice place. Nice service. The food wasn't enough for our taste. Vegetables cold, not seasoned. Breading of the schnitzel is partly black. Sauerbraten was tough. There is still a lot of room for improvement.
