When there was an address error (on our part) for our last order, they did everything they could to reach us, and despite the extra drive and extra effort on their part, the food arrived warm and delicious. We frequently order from this Indian restaurant via Lieferando and are always impressed. The food is delivered hot, tastes excellent, and the people on the phone are always extremely friendly (we forgot to order the free lassi, but it was added to the order over the phone). However, we've never eaten there in person. Still, we definitely recommend it!

Absolutely amazing food! But the delivery arrived two hours late, and I was rudely cut off on the phone. The first time I called, the food was supposed to be almost there, but the second time, it was just being prepared. That's a shame, otherwise, they're pretty reliable with their delivery times.

A truly authentic experience! The Haryana Restaurant completely won me over with its traditional North Indian cuisine. The spices were perfectly balanced, the dishes freshly prepared, and full of flavor – the butter chicken and dal makhani were especially delicious! The staff was very friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere was cozy and inviting. You can immediately tell that the food here is cooked with passion. We spontaneously chose this restaurant based on the reviews and were not disappointed. The service was attentive but not intrusive. The quality and taste of the food was very good, in no way overly seasoned or just spicy. Here you really know how to use spices, because you can actually taste many of the components. The ambience of the restaurant still has room for improvement, as I didn't really feel comfortable here. There is enough parking space in front of the door (don't forget the parking disc). It was definitely not our last visit, we would love to come back.

We order there regularly and are very satisfied every time! Food is not only delivered warm, but very hot! We have never experienced this anywhere else and we are thrilled every time. The drivers are also always very friendly. The food is always very tasty, but varies in spiciness from time to time. We often recommend the food and look forward to the next meal!

We ordered here two weeks ago and had mixed experiences. The very friendly delivery driver, who was punctual and courteous, should be positively highlighted. Unfortunately, the taste of the dishes didn't impress us. The seasoning was too reserved for our taste and lacked the typical intensity and complexity you expect from Indian curries. The flavors seemed pale and undefined rather than conveying the characteristic depth and spiciness of Indian cuisine.

Food ordered via delivery app, received in 15 minutes. How is that possible? Is the food pre-cooked in large quantities and then just warmed up when ordered? The “freshly baked” naan bread too?? (To be fair, I have to mention that the store is a 3-minute drive from us.) - Contrary to expectations, the butter chicken tasted sweet and coconutty, as if it contained ingredients that didn't belong in the dish - the very watery Chicken Tikka had a bright red dye added to it to make the sauce more "presentable" (??) (the chicken was completely colored neon red on the outside and a spot of sauce smeared on the white kitchen counter left a pink trace after 2 minutes, which will probably stay for a while...) - the naan bread was clearly a warmed, thin flatbread bought at the Oriental Market (You can get this in the store for a maximum of €2, a quarter of it was delivered to us warmed up for €3.50) I didn't even get halfway through my chicken tikka, it was horrible. My co-orderer ate half of her butter chicken because she was hungry. All in all, it is the most inauthentic, disgusting "Indian" food we have ever experienced. Absolutely not worth it given the overpriced prices. 👎👎👎

Absolutely catastrophic. Dyes in the sauce to make it look radioactive - strange sweetness in the other sauce and the naan is just store bought Arabic flatbread that has been warmed up. I definitely won't order again. Frankly, it's a disgrace when you look at the prices. I would have been so happy to eat authentic Indian food again.... I'm pretty sure that it's pre-cooked and just warmed up.

Absolutely delicious, despite the delay! I ordered from Haryana in Essen via Uber Eats, and although the food unfortunately arrived almost 4 hours late (due to the Uber Eats promotion), I would still like to give a very clear recommendation! The taste of the food made up for it all – simply incredibly delicious! The quality of the ingredients and the attention to detail in the preparation were convincing. The flavors were perfectly balanced and I could really taste that the heart was being cooked here. Even if the delivery didn't go completely smoothly this time, I will definitely order again. It's worth having a little patience when you end up with such a great meal on your plate! Many thanks to the Haryana team, you saved my evening despite everything!

The food was really okay... BUT... we ordered two weeks ago and the delivery time was said to be 35 minutes... after 1 1/2 hours I called and asked where the food was, and they said only half an hour left hour, then I called after ANOTHER hour and asked again and was told it was coming out now.. total waiting time almost 3 hours. I've never experienced anything like that, it was at night that we were able to eat. Today we thought we'd give them another chance and have been waiting for food again for almost 2 hours. It's still not there... Sorry but never again, you can order from others and save yourself the long waiting time. And sorry, but it's no excuse to say there's a lot going on, because you can simply close the online shop if you can't keep up with the orders, but there are people who only see the money.

We went there for the first time on a recommendation. Picked up our food. There was even a 10% discount. We had number 5+6 from the menu. The sauce was very tasty and the meat was tender. The food was well packaged and still hot when we got home. While we had to wait, we got a mango lassi. Delicious. The rooms are very simple but clean. I think the service during the stay was just as friendly as we were received. We'll be back.

I recently tried some food in Oldenburg, and it was absolutely delicious. As a latino, I eat a lot of rice, so the food here was quite similar to what I'm used to, except for the spice level. The best part was that I could request the food without any spice, which was a major issue for my family and me when trying Indian food (since we don't eat anything spicy).

This Indian restaurant corresponds exactly to the experiences of Indian cuisine in Germany, as described to us by our Indian acquaintances! All the classics are on the menu, but apparently each one has its own individual take: For example, the hair wasn't in the proverbial soup, but we found it in the rice here! The mango chutney is simply replaced with ketchup. On the one hand, we could completely understand that from a cost point of view and on the other hand, we found such a snack variant somehow cheeky! Visually, we had to admit, the color combination of the dark red and the light green of the mint paste was actually quite bold. By the way, mint paste is clearly a ready-made mix; you can really experience the business acumen here with all your senses! It was then certainly simply pressed casually into the lassi. As we learned from another comment, the Indian methi spice is said to look very similar to real hair after cooking. So we can only express our respect for the culinary craftsmanship of the kitchen, because our hair (in the rice) was black and curly - we have never experienced Methi like this!!! We think it's a real innovation. But as I sat there and my eyes wandered to the Body Worlds poster in the Aldi parking lot while mindfully chewing the tough onion peel in my food, I thought that even touching a chest hair (intimate? Hihi!) needed a certain amount of momentum in the wrist, and in this case it would ultimately take nothing away from a compliment to the dexterity of the hand. We also now know that the food stays hot in the bowl long enough even without the classic warmer - this saves waste AND CO2 consumption! Hats off, that's really climate action - in action! Yes, and then the little icing on the cake - I have now definitely memorized the opening times of Aldi Oldenburg thanks to the window view. Who knows, this could become really useful at some point. So education is not in short supply, and all in just one visit to a restaurant. And as philosophical food for thought, the advertising board at Aldi always gives something new to take with you on the way home. It's worth going to the restaurant every four weeks! Yes, and then some. A lingering aftertaste won't be a problem either, because you can't actually taste much in the food anyway. Maybe a good approach, because after all, tastes can be argued. And who knows, if you like it and are lucky enough, you can remember the good times for a while afterwards with every smile with a black ringlet between your teeth.

Definitely the better Indian in Oldenburg. The atmosphere is very simple, the staff is very nice and the vegetarian food is super delicious! We've been there twice so far, once alone and once with friends. Both times we were very enthusiastic about the delicious food. Don't be afraid, even if the visual impression of the restaurant seems very simple!

Und nun das Wichtigste: das Essen war unglaublich lecker und das Naan Brot warm und frisch. Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist ebenfalls sehr gut! Wir werden definitiv jetzt öfter bestellen und bestimmt auch demnächst mal im Restaurant vor Ort essen

Service war ja sehr freundlich und das Meissels Weiße hat super geschmeckt, aber das Essen ist wirklich nicht sehr gut. Das Hähnchen mag noch iO sein aber das Lamm schmeckt iwie komisch und die Curry Sauce erinnerte stark an Curry Gewürzketchup. Klares Nein leider. Gibt wohl keinen guten Inder in OL…

I worked at this restaurant for 5 months, and I want to share how amazing my experience was. I can vouch for the incredible food since I've tried almost everything on the menu. Not only that, but the environment and both of the owners are incredibly welcoming. The cleanliness is always top-notch, and the chef takes care of everything, even making changes to suit personal preferences. It genuinely felt like a home away from home, so if anyone is looking to satisfy their Indian/Pakistani cravings, I highly recommend trying their food. It's truly amazing!
