We were there for the first time on Saturday evening. We had pre-booked a table. The food is very good! Everything is freshly prepared and attractively served. Very nice hospitality! We were very satisfied and will definitely go back.

Yesterday the four of us ate at the Haryana Tandoori Restaurant for the first time and we were very happy with everything! The food was excellent and so was the service. We'll be back!

We spontaneously chose this restaurant based on the reviews and were not disappointed. The service was attentive but not intrusive. The quality and taste of the food was very good, in no way overly seasoned or just spicy. Here you really know how to use spices, because you can actually taste many of the components. The ambience of the restaurant still has room for improvement, as I didn't really feel comfortable here. There is enough parking space in front of the door (don't forget the parking disc). It was definitely not our last visit, we would love to come back.

The naan was not done. The meal wasn't bad per see but I can't say it was really good. And quite expensive for a medium taste food I would say. Not gonna order from here again. Its shame.

We order there regularly and are very satisfied every time! Food is not only delivered warm, but very hot! We have never experienced this anywhere else and we are thrilled every time. The drivers are also always very friendly. The food is always very tasty, but varies in spiciness from time to time. We often recommend the food and look forward to the next meal!

We ordered here two weeks ago and had mixed experiences. The very friendly delivery driver, who was punctual and courteous, should be positively highlighted. Unfortunately, the taste of the dishes didn't impress us. The seasoning was too reserved for our taste and lacked the typical intensity and complexity you expect from Indian curries. The flavors seemed pale and undefined rather than conveying the characteristic depth and spiciness of Indian cuisine.

Absolutely catastrophic. Dyes in the sauce to make it look radioactive - strange sweetness in the other sauce and the naan is just store bought Arabic flatbread that has been warmed up. I definitely won't order again. Frankly, it's a disgrace when you look at the prices. I would have been so happy to eat authentic Indian food again.... I'm pretty sure that it's pre-cooked and just warmed up.

Food ordered via delivery app, received in 15 minutes. How is that possible? Is the food pre-cooked in large quantities and then just warmed up when ordered? The “freshly baked” naan bread too?? (To be fair, I have to mention that the store is a 3-minute drive from us.) - Contrary to expectations, the butter chicken tasted sweet and coconutty, as if it contained ingredients that didn't belong in the dish - the very watery Chicken Tikka had a bright red dye added to it to make the sauce more "presentable" (??) (the chicken was completely colored neon red on the outside and a spot of sauce smeared on the white kitchen counter left a pink trace after 2 minutes, which will probably stay for a while...) - the naan bread was clearly a warmed, thin flatbread bought at the Oriental Market (You can get this in the store for a maximum of €2, a quarter of it was delivered to us warmed up for €3.50) I didn't even get halfway through my chicken tikka, it was horrible. My co-orderer ate half of her butter chicken because she was hungry. All in all, it is the most inauthentic, disgusting "Indian" food we have ever experienced. Absolutely not worth it given the overpriced prices. 👎👎👎

Absolutely delicious, despite the delay! I ordered from Haryana in Essen via Uber Eats, and although the food unfortunately arrived almost 4 hours late (due to the Uber Eats promotion), I would still like to give a very clear recommendation! The taste of the food made up for it all – simply incredibly delicious! The quality of the ingredients and the attention to detail in the preparation were convincing. The flavors were perfectly balanced and I could really taste that the heart was being cooked here. Even if the delivery didn't go completely smoothly this time, I will definitely order again. It's worth having a little patience when you end up with such a great meal on your plate! Many thanks to the Haryana team, you saved my evening despite everything!

The food was really okay... BUT... we ordered two weeks ago and the delivery time was said to be 35 minutes... after 1 1/2 hours I called and asked where the food was, and they said only half an hour left hour, then I called after ANOTHER hour and asked again and was told it was coming out now.. total waiting time almost 3 hours. I've never experienced anything like that, it was at night that we were able to eat. Today we thought we'd give them another chance and have been waiting for food again for almost 2 hours. It's still not there... Sorry but never again, you can order from others and save yourself the long waiting time. And sorry, but it's no excuse to say there's a lot going on, because you can simply close the online shop if you can't keep up with the orders, but there are people who only see the money.

We went there for the first time on a recommendation. Picked up our food. There was even a 10% discount. We had number 5+6 from the menu. The sauce was very tasty and the meat was tender. The food was well packaged and still hot when we got home. While we had to wait, we got a mango lassi. Delicious. The rooms are very simple but clean. I think the service during the stay was just as friendly as we were received. We'll be back.

I recently tried some food in Oldenburg, and it was absolutely delicious. As a latino, I eat a lot of rice, so the food here was quite similar to what I'm used to, except for the spice level. The best part was that I could request the food without any spice, which was a major issue for my family and me when trying Indian food (since we don't eat anything spicy).

This Indian restaurant corresponds exactly to the experiences of Indian cuisine in Germany, as described to us by our Indian acquaintances! All the classics are on the menu, but apparently each one has its own individual take: For example, the hair wasn't in the proverbial soup, but we found it in the rice here! The mango chutney is simply replaced with ketchup. On the one hand, we could completely understand that from a cost point of view and on the other hand, we found such a snack variant somehow cheeky! Visually, we had to admit, the color combination of the dark red and the light green of the mint paste was actually quite bold. By the way, mint paste is clearly a ready-made mix; you can really experience the business acumen here with all your senses! It was then certainly simply pressed casually into the lassi. As we learned from another comment, the Indian methi spice is said to look very similar to real hair after cooking. So we can only express our respect for the culinary craftsmanship of the kitchen, because our hair (in the rice) was black and curly - we have never experienced Methi like this!!! We think it's a real innovation. But as I sat there and my eyes wandered to the Body Worlds poster in the Aldi parking lot while mindfully chewing the tough onion peel in my food, I thought that even touching a chest hair (intimate? Hihi!) needed a certain amount of momentum in the wrist, and in this case it would ultimately take nothing away from a compliment to the dexterity of the hand. We also now know that the food stays hot in the bowl long enough even without the classic warmer - this saves waste AND CO2 consumption! Hats off, that's really climate action - in action! Yes, and then the little icing on the cake - I have now definitely memorized the opening times of Aldi Oldenburg thanks to the window view. Who knows, this could become really useful at some point. So education is not in short supply, and all in just one visit to a restaurant. And as philosophical food for thought, the advertising board at Aldi always gives something new to take with you on the way home. It's worth going to the restaurant every four weeks! Yes, and then some. A lingering aftertaste won't be a problem either, because you can't actually taste much in the food anyway. Maybe a good approach, because after all, tastes can be argued. And who knows, if you like it and are lucky enough, you can remember the good times for a while afterwards with every smile with a black ringlet between your teeth.

Definitely the better Indian in Oldenburg. The atmosphere is very simple, the staff is very nice and the vegetarian food is super delicious! We've been there twice so far, once alone and once with friends. Both times we were very enthusiastic about the delicious food. Don't be afraid, even if the visual impression of the restaurant seems very simple!

The food was prepared well, quickly and tasty. We had Butter Chicken & Chicken Saag. Both very tasty, portion a bit too small for me personally. Service very nice and friendly! The location and restaurant were also clean and nice.

Beautiful winter garden, very nice atmosphere, suitable background music, subtle lighting, friendly, courteous service, fast service. Always something small in advance for the waiting time and a mango liqueur on the house after the meal. The food tastes very, very good, is always served fresh and hot, and you never have to wait long. Have been there several times and always like to come back!

We ate on site. The restaurant was very well maintained and lovingly furnished. We enjoyed the food (butter chicken and aloo paneer). The Mango Lassi was also convincing.

Das Essen war super lecker 😋 Die Bedienung war freundlich und zuvorkommend. Das gesamte Restaurant machte einen guten Eindruck. Wenn ich mal wieder in der Nähe bin komme ich bestimmt mal wieder.

Wir haben heute zum ersten Mal bestellt und sind sehr zufrieden! Die Lieferung war pünktlich und der Mitarbeiter sehr freundlich. Das Essen war sehr heiß und gut verpackt. Und nun das Wichtigste: das Essen war unglaublich lecker und das Naan Brot warm und frisch. Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist ebenfalls sehr gut! Wir werden definitiv jetzt öfter bestellen und bestimmt auch demnächst mal im Restaurant vor Ort essen

Wir wurden sehr nett empfangen, der Kellner war freundlich, auf das Essen mussten wir nicht lange warten & es schmeckte sehr gut. Veganes Essen gibt es ebenso. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Service war ja sehr freundlich und das Meissels Weiße hat super geschmeckt, aber das Essen ist wirklich nicht sehr gut. Das Hähnchen mag noch iO sein aber das Lamm schmeckt iwie komisch und die Curry Sauce erinnerte stark an Curry Gewürzketchup. Klares Nein leider. Gibt wohl keinen guten Inder in OL…

I worked at this restaurant for 5 months, and I want to share how amazing my experience was. I can vouch for the incredible food since I've tried almost everything on the menu. Not only that, but the environment and both of the owners are incredibly welcoming. The cleanliness is always top-notch, and the chef takes care of everything, even making changes to suit personal preferences. It genuinely felt like a home away from home, so if anyone is looking to satisfy their Indian/Pakistani cravings, I highly recommend trying their food. It's truly amazing!

Das Essen ist sehr lecker und der Preis mehr als fair. Auch die Bedienung ist sehr nett und zuvorkommend. Alles in allem ist das Restaurant mehr als zu empfehlen. Wir kommen sehr gern wieder.

Das Restaurant ist sehr gut! Das Essen schmeckt dort immer sehr gut. Wir haben schon sehr viel probiert und sind immer zufrieden. Man muss nicht lange auf das Essen warten. Trotzdem ist immer alles frisch zubereitet. Außerdem haben die einen sehr aufmerksamen jungen Kellner, welcher immer freundlich ist. Wenn wir in Oldenburg sind, dann gehen wir dort immer gerne essen.

Leider war unser letzter Besuch nicht so angenehm wie erhofft. Als wir mit unserer etwas größeren Gruppe ankamen, wurde schnell deutlich, dass die Bedienung überfordert war und Schwierigkeiten hatte, mit der Größe unseres Tisches umzugehen. Leider kam es dann auch zu einer unerfreulichen Überraschung bei der Rechnung. Wir wurden nämlich nicht nur einmal, sondern gleich viermal (je 50 ct) für das Einpacken unserer Reste zur Kasse gebeten. Die beiden Currygerichte wurden in einfachen Boxen verstaut, während das Naan-Brot zweimal in Alufolie eingewickelt wurde - leider nicht sehr sorgfältig, so dass Ecken herausragten. Was uns jedoch am meisten gestört hat, war, dass uns diesbezüglich keinerlei Information gegeben wurde. Angesichts dieser Umstände hätten wir es uns lieber nochmal überlegen sollen ein Trinkgeld zu geben.

Mal wieder ein super schöner Abend im Haryana!! Hatten den Haryana Salat als Vorspeise, das Tandoori Chicken als Hauptspeise und dazu Garlic und Cheese Naan,.. Wie immer super geschmackvoll. Kleiner Tipp: unbedingt den Mango Lassi probieren, mein Highlight bei jedem Besuch:) Die Bedienung super freundlich und sehr zuvorkommend. Es war uns ein Fest! Und kommen ganz bald wieder.

Wir haben uns das Essen liefern lassen: Chicken Malai Tikka (5/5) Mutton Saag (4/5) Seekh Kebab (4/5) Mix Pakora (5/5) Samosas (5/5) Es war sehr schnell da (40 Minuten), schön warm und sehr schmackhaft. Nicht ganz billig, aber lecker. Einziger Wermutstropfen: der übliche Verpackungswahnsinn. Aber dafür gibt's (noch) keinen Punktabzug.

Esse super Bedienung sehr freundlich alles mit alles sehr zufrieden . Wir kommen sicher wieder.

Ambiente zweckmäßig. Essen war super! Wir waren zu viert und hatten alle verschiedene, scharfe Gerichte. Es hat uns sehr gut gefallen, dass der lockere, sehr schmackhafte Reis auf einer großen Platze für uns alle auf dem Tisch kam. Jeder von uns sein Gericht aber in einer Schale serviert bekam - und nicht nur jeder auf seinen Teller. Dadurch konnten wir alle voneinander probieren! Top!

Wir waren mit vier Personen vor Ort, und einstimmiges Urteil: ja - mega lecker. Was scharf sein sollte, war auch scharf, alles geschmacklich sehr, sehr gut. Service sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Das war jeden Euro wert, kommen wir auch gerne wieder!

Das erste Mal bestellt und nach knapp 80min kam das beste indische Essen, was ich bisher hier in Oldenburg gegessen habe ✌️👍.

Wir waren in der Woche hier zum Abendessen. Das indische Essen war sehr lecker und die Bedienung freundlich. Nur 4 Sterne gibt es für die Lage und das eher einfache Ambiente. In Summe ist es vermutlich das beste indische Restaurant in Oldenburg.

Na een dag kerstmarkt hier gegeten. Bediening was heel vriendelijk, attent en snel. Voldoende afwisseling op de menukaart, zodat er voor ieder wel iets is voor zijn smaak. Ruime porties en een salade van het huis vooraf. Restaurant is netjes en eenvoudig ingericht.

Wir waren heute spontan im Haryana essen. Es war unser zweiter Besuch hier und wir hatten es noch in guter Erinnerung. Heute wurden wir aber mehr als überrascht. Wir hatten sowohl eine Vorspeise gewählt, bekamen zeitgleich noch Papadam gratis und nach der Vorspeise Salat. Alles sehr schmackhaft und zeitlich perfekt abgepasst. Auch das Hauptgericht war sehr lecker, total frisch und vor allem reichhaltig und heiß. Hervorzuheben sind auch die vorgewärmten Teller. Zum Schluss gab es noch einen Mangoschnaps aufs Haus! Außergewöhnlich war die Bedienung! Sehr freundlich, aufmerksam und professionell. Wir haben uns von Anfang an sehr willkommen gefühlt! Also: Sehr zu empfehlen und wir kommen wieder!
