It's too dark for me there. Friendly staff. The burger was cold, but tasted okay.

A really pleasant atmosphere, top-notch service, and incredibly delicious burgers! 🍔 There were four of us, each of us ordered a different burger, and they were all fantastic! 😍 And the drinks were simply amazing! 🍹 We'll definitely be back!

Cozy, inviting, delicious food—what more could you want?

Unfortunately, we had to wait a long time for drinks, and then some of them came wrong. Since I don't like burgers, I ordered a salad. The salad consisted of 98% oversized lettuce leaves that crunched, garnished with two tomato pieces, half a radish, and three grams of bell pepper... I won't be going there again. Sorry.

My friends and I eat there regularly. We always receive a warm welcome. The service has always been fantastic. You feel like you're in good hands! We're always thrilled with the delicious dishes and the friendly staff. Simply our number 1 in Coburg 🥰

Food and drinks were great. The service was friendly, but if you change something in the order after it's been entered into the phone, they react irritably. Unfortunately, we were kicked out after 2.5 hours because the table had been reserved again, but this wasn't communicated beforehand. A complete no-go! With online reservations, this would probably be stated in the confirmation email – according to the service, but we had reserved by phone and therefore had no idea about it. A real shame!

It's 2025, so the least we can do is offer a decent vegan burger, with Beyond Meat, for example—very disappointing....

First of all: This review is NOT about the kitchen or the service staff. Hanskaschber was my favorite restaurant in Coburg for a long time, and I was never disappointed by the people who work there. However, I can only shake my head at the strategic decisions behind the scenes. The prices have now reached astronomical levels; you pay more for burgers here than at most restaurants in Munich (!). A side of fries costs almost as much as a cocktail, and they have the audacity to charge extra for sauces, even ketchup. And while most other burger restaurants manage to offer homemade meat patty alternatives or at least Beyond Meat, vegetarians and vegans here are still fobbed off with protein- and flavorless vegetable patties, the kind we were used to 15 years ago. Simply disappointing, even though the place has enormous potential. I really wish they would improve this.

How awesome can a location be? A truly cool ambiance, and the food and drinks were super delicious. The meat was juicy, the buns had a faint taste of butter, the pickled onions, the crisp salad—all of it a real treat! Thanks to the kitchen and, of course, the service! <3

The burgers here are simply delicious—super juicy, freshly prepared, and full of flavor. The ingredients also seem high-quality and blend perfectly together. Highly recommended for all burger lovers!

Safe for people with celiac disease; the burger with the gluten-free bun was amazing, and the staff were super knowledgeable. The salad was amazing, both visually and tastefully. We were there on the Friday before the Andreas Gabalier concert because there was a burger buffet. They charged €25.90 per person for having to queue for half an hour and then put the burgers together yourself. That's an absolute disgrace! Next time I'd rather go to the golden M - same quality for 1/4 of the price.

This burger restaurant is highly recommended! 🍔 The burgers are freshly prepared, juicy, and simply delicious; you can immediately tell that they use high-quality ingredients. The sides, especially the fries, were also crispy and delicious. The staff were super friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere in the shop was very cozy. The value for money is also good. I'll definitely be back and can recommend this place to anyone who loves really good burgers!

I arrived as a single woman and left in love with Hanskaschber. I walked in unsuspectingly on a Friday night and was swept off my feet. Not super cheap, BUT if you don't get full, I'll eat a broom. The cutlery tastes a bit metallic, but hey, our uniqueness is what makes us special. Huge compliments to the relaxed staff, especially the spunky bartender with the nose piercing, she must have fallen from heaven. Drinks are definitely mixed with love here. The food was good. Unfortunately, the buns were a bit thin and tear easily. The taste was good, but nothing special. The service was excellent, with regular check-ins to make sure everything was okay. Unfortunately, the price-performance ratio wasn't quite right.

We were there a week ago with a reservation. We wanted a seat on the bench because we had a pregnant woman with us. Unfortunately, this didn't work out. We think it's nice to be able to cuddle, but this was cuddling on a high level. We could have eaten from the next table. The next thing we would like to say as a suggestion is that the lighting is unfortunately too dim, making the menu very difficult to read. You should choose a different font and make it a bit bigger. You should perhaps also write on the menu that some of the drinks contain a lot of alcohol. There may be people who don't like it so strong. The food was delicious and the service was top-notch. You have a great team. Don't take this as a criticism, but rather as a suggestion. We can certainly recommend it.

It was a completely successful evening. The food was great and the cocktails were delicious. The passion fruit caramel caipi has to be on the menu. That's awesome. The service was also great. Despite Full House, there was always someone there. Great team that was a joy to be part of. Keep it up 👍!

We love coming here regularly for burgers. The taste is very good and the quality is high. The service is very attentive, but overall it's sometimes hit and miss. What's really puzzling to me, though, is why a beer isn't served in a pitcher or glass? I've never experienced a beer bottle being brought to our table in a pitcher in any restaurant. The tables aren't very big anyway, and there are always bottles lying around. I think the service staff has other things to do than collect empty bottles from the tables. Or they offer one type on draft – even better ;) Just my feedback, and see you next time :)

Excellent service. The waitresses who served us were very friendly and the order arrived quickly. It was delicious. The potatoes and bread, for example, are made by themselves and it shows a lot 👌🏾 We will return 🌟

We were there on May 1st. We ate at Hanskaschber in Coburg and made reservations online in advance, which turned out to be absolutely uncomplicated. There is a good selection of burgers (also for vegetarians/vegans). The prices are of course higher than at the usual fast food chains, but I found that to be fair given the quality. The homemade iced teas were also very tasty and beautifully presented. The service staff was present at all times and asked whether everything was OK and whether anything else was needed. The restaurant itself is very modern and clean inside. There is also seating outside. We were satisfied and it certainly wasn't our last visit 👍

Good food, modern atmosphere, unfortunately only bottled beer - very high prices! The burgers were really tasty, as were the iced tea and sweet potato fries. The atmosphere is actually really nice and modern. However, we had a hanging lamp above the table for two, which gave off an incredibly bright and disturbing light when we sat there. That was very, very uncomfortable. I also thought it was a shame that although there was a good selection of beer, there was no draft beer at all. The prices are really quite high too. Burger, + 2 side dishes quickly comes to around €30. Homemade iced tea, relatively small glass: €5.90. You can quickly reach 30-40€ / person.

A really great and stylish shop... A bit of that industrial style with lots of bricks and a great play with the light... When the burgers arrive it's a wow factor... Great place to hang out with friends, have some food or just enjoy a cocktail... For us it was the best burger in a long time... Staff very helpful, friendly and quick... Always happy...

Service staff super friendly, a little thing got mixed up when ordering. It was too loud for me; in addition to the babble of voices, there was also music playing in the background, which I found to be just annoying noise. Very crowded, therefore bad air. Food very attractively decorated. Good meat patties, my Hansburger: unfortunately sauce with an obviously artificial flavor. Everyone else was thrilled. Very good space management, we had reserved for a larger group, our space was optimal.

It was my second visit to this restaurant. The ambience is relaxed, the lights are dimmed and, despite the tables being fully booked, the volume is sufficient for good conversations. The service is excellent. The girls were ultra friendly, attentive and very accommodating. There is a good selection of food, even vegetarian and vegan options. I had the Hulk. With avocado and spinach. The food was okay. Unfortunately a bit cold. Maybe due to the full house. My cocktail was non-alcoholic and consisted, among other things, of blueberries. Unfortunately, it was very sweet. But that's a matter of taste. The location is fine for a nice evening.

The meal was excellent. Of the 3 burgers we ordered, each tasted delicious. I also recommend the dessert, but not for one person 😛 A small minus for slightly high prices and a little uncomfortable chairs.

It's my first time in Coburg and I usually never write reviews but in this case I just have to. I've rarely eaten such good burgers but what blew me away the most were the sheep's fries (I think that's what they were called). Phenomenal.

The burgers are beautifully prepared, offer a good mix of tried and tested and unconventional and always taste excellent. I can understand why Hanskaschber is so popular. The service is also great and I have only had good experiences there so far. Always friendly and patient, no matter if it's packed. This makes you feel really comfortable and welcome and you can just switch off and enjoy drinks and food. All in all, you can always look forward to a special evening here and I'm always happy to come back!

Although we had reserved, we were given a seat at a “bar table” with very low chairs where it was not possible to eat properly. Despite asking if we could get a free normal table, we were rudely turned away.

Great restaurant, it's worth spending your money here, the quality of the food is very high and the taste shows it again. There is also something for vegans to find here, which makes me very happy, so you can also go out to eat with friends who don't eat meat.

We were on a short trip to Coburg. Of course not reserved and we still somehow managed to squeeze in on November 1st (!). First of all, thank you for that. The atmosphere is modern, functional and yet cozy. The service was very good and the restaurant has a positive atmosphere. I had an “Imperator” with “sheep fries”. Simply brilliant. The bun was spot on, the pulled pork and beef and the pattie were on point. The fries with the goat cheese are a brilliant combination. I can't say anything about the other dishes. There are definitely 5 stars for what I ate and everything around it.

We were very satisfied. The staff is very friendly and always tries to do their best. Definitely worth a visit. A reservation is recommended!

All in all a top shop. The best fries and sauce cream. The burgers are also great. The prices are a bit high, but still just about reasonable. It's very dark in places, so if you have bad eyesight you might have trouble reading the menu. Nevertheless, the ambience is very nice. The waiting times are reasonable. The only thing that's a shame is that the kitchen has a happy ending, considering that they're only open from 5 p.m. So you can't even eat fries after going to the cinema. But this is a general problem in Coburg. From 9/10 p.m. it's all over. You can't even get fries anymore. Except for Mc... You should make reservations when praying.
