Hanskaschber - Cocktailbar & Burger in Coburg

It's my first time in Coburg and I usually never write reviews but in this case I just have to. I've rarely eaten such good burgers but what blew me away the most were the sheep's fries (I think that's what they were called). Phenomenal.

Great place with good food and great service that I like to go to and that I highly recommend. The burgers are beautifully prepared, offer a good mix of tried and tested and unconventional and always taste excellent. I can understand why Hanskaschber is so popular. The service is also great and I have only had good experiences there so far. Always friendly and patient, no matter if it's packed. This makes you feel really comfortable and welcome and you can just switch off and enjoy drinks and food. All in all, you can always look forward to a special evening here and I'm always happy to come back!

The best burgers in town. However, I have the feeling that the portions have become smaller. Nevertheless, the service was great and the ambience is very nice.

Although we had reserved, we were given a seat at a “bar table” with very low chairs where it was not possible to eat properly. Despite asking if we could get a free normal table, we were rudely turned away.

Great restaurant, it's worth spending your money here, the quality of the food is very high and the taste shows it again. There is also something for vegans to find here, which makes me very happy, so you can also go out to eat with friends who don't eat meat.

Everything was great, we were there for the first time and would love to come back :-) decoration of the food and drinks was also really great and everything was made with fresh ingredients and above all everything was very fresh :-) was really great.

Unfortunately I only have to give it 4 stars because my pullet pork nuggets were cold on the inside. But otherwise everything was fine.

We were on a short trip to Coburg. Of course not reserved and we still somehow managed to squeeze in on November 1st (!). First of all, thank you for that. The atmosphere is modern, functional and yet cozy. The service was very good and the restaurant has a positive atmosphere. I had an “Imperator” with “sheep fries”. Simply brilliant. The bun was spot on, the pulled pork and beef and the pattie were on point. The fries with the goat cheese are a brilliant combination. I can't say anything about the other dishes. There are definitely 5 stars for what I ate and everything around it.

We were very satisfied. The staff is very friendly and always tries to do their best. Definitely worth a visit. A reservation is recommended!

All in all a top shop. The best fries and sauce cream. The burgers are also great. The prices are a bit high, but still just about reasonable. It's very dark in places, so if you have bad eyesight you might have trouble reading the menu. Nevertheless, the ambience is very nice. The waiting times are reasonable. The only thing that's a shame is that the kitchen has a happy ending, considering that they're only open from 5 p.m. So you can't even eat fries after going to the cinema. But this is a general problem in Coburg. From 9/10 p.m. it's all over. You can't even get fries anymore. Except for Mc... You should make reservations when praying.

Delicious food at fair prices with friendly staff.

Total disappointment! Staff completely overwhelmed, food stands at the serving point for a long time and then arrives cold at the table. The food was faulty, when we asked about the remaining dip, the waitress (with the tattoos on her arms and the piercing in her nose) reacted with a big huff and rolled her eyes and ran away from our table in annoyance. Overall a big disappointment.

Great place for really good burgers! The service at Hanskaschber is friendly and attentive, especially the friendly waitress with an Asian appearance who looked after us very well and served everything with a smile. The burgers are creative and taste great - you can tell that they pay attention to fresh ingredients. The relaxed atmosphere completes the visit. I can only recommend it to every burger fan!

This is my absolute “go-to” shop when I want to spend a nice evening with friends. The service is extremely friendly and fast and the food always tastes great! The cocktails are also amazing, the pomegranate mojito cannot be beaten.

Super tasty burgers and cocktails.

The food was very tasty and beautifully presented. Despite the store being full, the waiters were very polite and didn't stress you out. Our table was at the edge, but if seated in the middle of the room it could be a bit noisy as the room is large.

I come from North Rhine-Westphalia, visited my friend in Dörfles-Esbach and we were with you last Friday. Extremely great service, lovingly prepared drinks and food, the meat was on point and the taste was far from the boring burger mash. In terms of price, I would put the card in the top third, but the price/performance ratio is much higher. You can't go wrong here. Our next visit next time I'm in your corner is definitely safe. The only criticism would be that we found it a bit dark in places. Not at our table, everything was good there, but when I looked around it was noticeable. Nevertheless, praise for the service and the kitchen.

Very tasty burgers, fries, bubble waffles. Service and ambience convey an all-round feel-good atmosphere. For us, Hanskaschber is and remains the first choice when it comes to burgers.

A cozy, rather dark but pleasantly lit atmosphere awaited us that evening. The restaurant was very busy with a large number of tables. Whether you have to name the signs to the toilets with "Pipi and Kaka" is a matter of taste, I found it rather infantile. After 20 minutes of waiting there was still no waitress at our table to take the drinks. So I told the bar and only then did someone come to the table. It's strange that you are served beer in a bottle and you pour it yourself and that the empties are not taken from the table by the service during the entire stay. Placing a soft drink in a bottle without a glass in front of a small child's nose also defies logic. Now to the food... We had different dishes and the following should be noted: if beef is ordered medium rare but is served medium rare, that is unprofessional. The promised goat cheese could not be found on the burger. The temperature of the meat was less than lukewarm. The advertised garlic mint dip tasted like vanilla but not like the expected main ingredients. Guacamole should never contain coconut, the taste was disgusting and the consistency would have made a sippy cup appropriate. It wasn't cleared away either, only after repeated notifications at the bar. On top of that, there was an unfriendly "snapping" from a slightly corpulent, dark-haired female service person for free. The test cocktails contained 80% ice, but tasted solid. For a first visit it was a miserable tragedy. Despite all this, the customers seem to like it and the success proves Hanskaschber right. Many of the service staff were also very pleasant. Conclusion: As a snapshot, this was unfortunately a very poor performance from the kitchen and service. I don't believe in a rematch.

We have been to this restaurant several times and were very satisfied. The staff is friendly and speaks English, which is important. The wait for the burgers was short. They are very large and tasty, and the selection is also large. The cocktails are simply great! They were presented very nicely. The atmosphere inside the place is pleasant, not disturbing, the lights are dimmed and you can relax. I also recommend that you reserve a table on weekends as it is usually busy. I recommend visiting this place.

Excellent place. The staff is friendly and helpful. The burgers and fries are delicious and there is a good balance between portion and price. The place is spacious, clean and tidy. Reservations are recommended.

I specifically stated please not in the entrance area and where did the lady want us to sit? Back to the table right in front of the door. A glass of iced tea costs 5.90 of the 350ml there are 300ml ice cubes, burgers used to be better, plus constant screaming of children for the price, no thanks never again. Don't understand the good reviews

We got a table on Friday evening, but the servers ignored to clean it after the previous guests, even after 2 reminders. We've been waiting 15 min, asked to be served again, but 5 min left...no one found a time to take ou r order. So we left without being seved...

The food on offer is of high quality and is attractively presented. The selection of burgers is varied and the French fries are also very tasty. The homemade lemonade is also highly recommended.

Table reserved outside at 7 p.m. today and upon arrival we were offered a table inside which was only cleared away. Never again.

There was a burger buffet during our visit. For dessert there were pancakes with various toppings. The selection was very large and there was something for everyone. The vegetarian and vegan selection was also great. The food was very tasty. The service was top and the waitresses were very friendly and nice.

There was a young lady in service with dark hair done in two braids. She was very nice, polite and served us very well! Big praise Of course the food was also great and the cocktails tasted great!

Ich hatte eine unkompetente und zudem unfreundliche Bedienung, ich habe wegen meiner Allergie noch nie ein Restaurant verlassen, ohne etwas zu essen. Diese Bedienung hat es heute geschafft. Leider eine sehr traurige Erfahrung.

The burger tasted ok, but nothing special. The sweet potato fries, on the other hand, were really very good. The non-alcoholic cocktail was good.

Burgers were good, service was nice. The white wedding cocktail was very tasty, but unfortunately the virgin strawberry wasn't my cup of tea. Barely tasted like strawberries. Would come again

A table for 8 people was ordered two weeks in advance. When we arrived, two tables were put together. However, the space was far too narrow. When asked about this, we were assigned a new place. After ordering, we received our first drinks after over 40 minutes. 15 minutes later the food and the last drinks were served. A nice evening looks different...We won't be coming back....200€ for such a service is a no go.....

The Halumi Burger was really tasty. Service was quick and friendly even though it was really busy. It was nice to sit outside and it looked pretty good inside.

This is actually about burgers, but we'll leave them out because the cocktails here are outstanding in taste and quality. Hanskaschber is definitely more than “the next burger joint”.

Today we were disappointed with the service and the food. After less than a minute of sitting at our place, we were asked about the drinks and we let the waitress leave. A short time later the drink order was taken, shortly afterwards a second waitress came and asked again what drinks we wanted, and we ordered the food from her. It took about 15 minutes for the drinks to come to the table, but the food came really quickly. The meat of the patties was very dry and we were not asked about the doneness. The plates were empty, the chip bowls weren't - they wanted to clear the plates as quickly as possible, we were looked at in disbelief when the plates were supposed to stay where they were. This gave us the feeling that they wanted to fill the seats again very quickly.

I went to Hanskaschber because of the many positive reviews, but my high expectations were disappointed. The service was disastrous, the table next to us wasn't occupied, but the dishes weren't cleared during our entire stay. We were also not asked what cooking level our burger should be. The burgers looked great, but tasted just average. The pizzazz was missing here for me. The drinks are also extremely expensive. That's why I only give it 3 stars.

Very modern atmosphere, unfortunately a bit loud but that's normal now. The burger came after about half an hour, was rock solid and met my expectations of a good burger.
