Hello Hanskaschber Team Bayreuth, It was a wonderful evening with you 🤩🥳! We were there yesterday with a group; I was there once earlier this week to "test it out" 😀. What can I say? I can't get any better than this - I'd gladly give you 6 stars. Jörg, in particular, who is very customer-oriented and with whom I was able to arrange a few things for the group in advance, impressed us with his enthusiasm, great service, and super delicious food. I would also like to highlight the waitress assigned to us that evening, who anticipated our every wish, was super attentive, and also had a great sense of humor 👌🏻! The food and drinks rounded off the whole experience wonderfully. The pictures say more about the ambiance than I can write 👍🏻. Jörg, thank you and the entire Hanskaschber team, also on behalf of the entire group. We will definitely be back. I'll be back in two weeks, at least, with family and friends. Keep it up 👏🏼!!!

Very disappointing! We booked a table for two on the balcony for Mother's Day. When we arrived they said the tables outside were only for 4 people. So they moved our reservation inside without telling us. The restaurant still had a lot of free tables both inside and outside and yet we had to wait 1:45 hours for our two burgers! No apology, just a “others have to wait too” came from the waitress. The lukewarm vegetable burger, which was described as having "freshly grilled vegetables", was also disappointing - there were four small slices of zucchini and two mini slices of carrots, none of which were grilled, just lightly steamed! The waitress said that the vegetables are never grilled. Then why is it written like that on the map? And especially for 13 euros??My homemade lemonade tasted like water! I then got a new one, apparently the siurp was empty. I felt absolutely ripped off considering the high prices. A soda 6 euros, a vegetarian burger 13 euros, fries another 6 euros, where are we here? Absolutely no recommendation! For me it's a complete rip off. Never again!

Reservation with the desire to sit on the terrace didn't work out because whoever comes first is only allowed to sit there (information on request) and there are only tables for 4 (two of us). Then took a seat at a table for two inside, colder than outside, so I put on my jacket first. Ordered 2 x homemade lemonade with watermelon, tasted like nothing and was three quarters full of ice cubes. Then ordered 2 x burgers with side dishes (these were delicious) at 5.40 p.m. (only a few tables were occupied at this point), waiting time 1 hour 30 minutes. At the neighboring table we got dessert on the house, but we got nothing, no apology or anything like that. Once again, no thanks.

Unfortunately I have to adjust my rating. Unfortunately, the amount for a burger with a side dish is really at the lowest limit. You just get so full here and for the rather higher price. The fried pulled pork "nuggets" for just under 8 euros as a side dish and then only 3 of them on the plate are simply not possible in my opinion and should have been increased to at least 6. Furthermore, all dishes were only lukewarm.

Overall we were satisfied, but remembered it better. It was very loud inside as there was a lot going on. Somehow it just wasn't comfortable due to the hustle and bustle and the noise. The homemade iced tea was very tasty - can be recommended. The burgers were okay, but not very special or outstanding. Our food was just warm, almost cold, which is a shame for burgers and fries - and especially for the price. Overall, it's actually a great restaurant, but the price-performance ratio isn't quite right anymore.

I was actually always so enthusiastic and enjoyed eating there, but in the last few months everything in the restaurant has been dismantled. Last night was the highlight... First of all - the waitress from southern Spain was super competent, friendly and open-minded - she really wasn't to blame for anything that happened - no doubt about it. Unfortunately, the white burger buns were far too greasy and tasted more like a sponge soaked in liquid butter. The boss's "new creation" - "chocolate pralines with fresh pineapple and pineapple ice cream" - tasted unbearably bad. Anyone who expected sweet chocolate pralines here was in for a treat, as sour "chocolate cakes" (probably pure baking cocoa) arrived in the form of balls, breaded in breadcrumbs, which were really obnoxious... For me, the absolute disappointment was just the shard of glass in my glass, which was now empty at the time of finding it... As compensation, I got a whole cocktail on the house, although of course I was also worried about having to make another bad discovery. But I didn't want to look anymore... In summary: AVOID! None of us are feeling well today, the day after, in terms of our stomachs and for the price it was an absolute disaster and of course a disgrace. Never again!!

One of the best stays in a long time, everyone was relaxed, friendly and fun

Great shop. Great service. Unfortunately, you are discriminated against as a smoker here. It is not welcome on the terrace. I would have liked to continue to support this beautiful catering company. But it doesn't make me feel welcome. Too bad. Thank God there are enough alternatives in the city where I can spend my money... Kind regards and good luck.

The atmosphere is very dark and rather uncomfortable. In the evening you feel like you are in a dark cave. In addition, the service is extremely unfriendly! The menu had ice cream with children's chocolate. But then there was cheap chocolate on the ice cream. When we were told that we didn't get what was on the menu, we were really scolded. Only after some discussion with the waitress did we get a bar of children's chocolate. The plate of children's chocolate was thrown onto the table with gusto. Absolute disgrace! That was the first and last time I was there!!!

An absolute recommendation for anyone who likes to eat burgers. The location has a clocky and modern flair - the terrace is a real dream. Friendly and courteous staff round off the visit.

The burger was okay overall, but the meat and cheese were of poor quality. It also took a very long time until the drinks were served.

As a pediatrician's office, we celebrated our New Year's party at Hanskaschber. They showed great commitment even in advance, and we received an absolutely delicious and extensive menu. The service was very friendly and accommodating, and we even had a private room for ourselves. We were completely satisfied and can only recommend the venue!

Four people were there in the evening. Unfortunately the food didn't come at the same time. We also waited longer for the drinks.

It was a lovely stay at the Bayreuth Hanskaschber. The service is great, the staff are really nice and attentive. The burgers are very creatively created and taste good. The side dishes and dressing as well. Very well attended (noisy) location with successful decoration. In the warm season, the beer garden at Rohrensee is certainly a highlight.

Our visit yesterday was a complete failure, it took 15 minutes until we were even seated, and our drinks were only taken 20 minutes later. Service was extremely overwhelmed, the food is nice to look at but unfortunately nothing more. We won't come anymore.

We were there for the first time. The ambience of the restaurant is nice, but it is quite loud due to the atmosphere in the hall. The service was good, our waitress always got to us quickly, but it wasn't that busy. We had to wait almost an hour for our food, which was quite long. But it was very tasty!!!

The food wasn't anything special at all... It was decorated quite nicely, but we were all cold. The waitresses weren't on point at all, I had to wait 20 minutes for my drink every time. In terms of price, it's not exactly the best either. Would go somewhere else next time we are in Bayreuth.

Nice burger restaurant with good service.

Tables are placed very closely, privacy is difficult. Staff are friendly and accommodating. Since the front door doesn't close properly, we move to the first table.

It was our first time here and we immediately liked the lovely atmosphere, very nice facilities and very nice staff. We got a table even though we didn't make a reservation. The drinks were delicious and the people were excellent. The pickled onions that I ordered were super tasty. We're not from Bayreuth, but we'll definitely be back. Great concept keep it up 🤗

Been there for the first time. Very nice location, service was on point and very friendly. What surprised us when we entered was that there were a few people sitting at the table in winter jackets. But then we realized very quickly that it was just as cold as hell. Lt. Staff “it’s just an old building and the heating is on full”. However, the heater next to our table was also cold. The waitress then said that there had been problems with the heating since New Year's Eve. I think something like that should be communicated. My choice of burger (vegetarian) had been out since the day before. I didn't like the alternative. So I quickly ate a portion of sweet potato fries because we were just super cold. And we went to another location Conclusion: Maybe we'll give it a second chance in the summer. But in the cold and with a thick winter jacket, I can also eat at the snack bar.

It was a very successful evening. However, the room temperature was too cold and you had to partially put on the jacket.

The young lady in service was very friendly and committed, but she naturally reached her limits for the entire restaurant The restaurant is attractively furnished, but unfortunately it was so cold when we visited that we didn't want to stay longer than absolutely necessary. We were there today (December 30, 2024) to eat, it was ice cold and we had to sit in the room with jackets on and we waited over an hour for the food... not to mention the prices, this was definitely our last visit

Didn't get a seat despite a reservation

We reserved online and were then told on site that the reservation didn't work because we didn't receive an email confirmation. However, we received the information online: “Thank you for your reservation” and a reservation number. But we were still sent home.

We spent another wonderful evening at Hanskaschber Bayreuth. We went there for my husband's birthday and it was perfect. The table was decorated with birthday decorations, the food was excellent, the service staff was absolutely attentive and great and at the end there was a drink on the house for the birthday child. A really nice, successful evening. We'd love to come back - also because the burgers are simply amazing.

Reserved for 5, got a table for 4 people with an extra chair in the aisle! On request no other option according to 'management'... Children run in the hallway, tables with more space become free but are reserved for the same duration! That's not right, it ruined the whole evening atmosphere... At least the food was good...

I'm just shocked. In my opinion the quality has deteriorated extremely. You already pay just under €16 for a burger and then another €6 for the side dishes. I'm a vegetarian and asked if you could leave out the beef and bacon. In return I was offered halloumi cheese. When I saw the bill, it really hit me. Instead of removing the meat, which is the expensive part of a burger, I was charged an extra €1 for the cheese. The service was also extremely cold and unfriendly and when I asked her which drink of the two she could recommend to me, the answer was “I don’t know”. For this outrageously high bill for two people amounting to almost €60! you should really expect more. We won't come back again.

We've been here twice already, the first time was a few years ago - I wasn't that impressed here. But the second time was phenomenally delicious! The burger was great, even with the sauces and the loaded fries a dream. The staff is very attentive. Only the cocktails took a while. I'd love to come back.

If you are looking for the perfect burger experience, there is no way past the Hanskaschber - cocktail bar, burger restaurant. As soon as you enter the store you can feel the relaxed atmosphere. Rustic and modern accents and the smell of freshly grilled meat immediately put you in anticipation. Optimal selection of burgers, side dishes and salads. The staff very friendly and attentive. Hanskaschber is much more than just a place to grab a quick burger. Nestled in nature, it is also a place to enjoy an enchanting evening with friends.

Waited over an hour for (cold) food...you don't really get full either. Unfortunately not recommended.

The food itself was very good, but unfortunately cold. Uncomfortable because it was very cold in the guest room.

Disappointment across the board – stay away from this restaurant! I have rarely had such a miserable experience in a restaurant as I did here. We had to wait a whole hour for our order, and when the burger finally came, the meat was raw! Not just slightly pink, but really raw and inedible. An absolute no-go for a restaurant that claims to be a burger specialist. In addition, the prices are completely excessive for what you get. Long waiting times and poor quality – that is absolutely unacceptable! I can only advise anyone not to set foot in here. There are so many better options in the city that are worth your money and time. This restaurant is definitely not it. Save yourself the hassle and find a place that knows how to serve guests and prepare food. Here you will only be disappointed.

We were guests 4 weeks ago. A nice idea in itself, but you can tell it's a chain... charging extra for ketchup and mayo is cheeky, especially when it's marked on the menu that it's included with the meal! Unfortunately it doesn't taste the best either, unless you like over-salted fries. Even more overpriced when you consider that you pay extra for the side dishes with the burger... once and never again

Therapy group met here again and felt completely comfortable. Marcel was again extremely attentive and the Christmas party was already reserved as a WEIB (VIP) table. Simply TOP!!!!!!

Food was awesome. Unfortunately, the service was far too slow and noticeably overwhelmed by the number of guests. Would have liked to consume more, but if no one takes orders

At first I was happy to be a customer of yours, but over the last year things have taken a turn for the worse. The last time we ate on-site for two people, the waiting times were absolutely horrible; it took just under 30 minutes (28 minutes to be exact) from the time we were assigned a table to the time the order was taken. Drinks came after about 20 minutes, the food came 1 1/4 hours (!) after ordering. The burgers left a lot to be desired, the fries were in the deep fryer for so long that you could have cut your teeth on them, but they were replaced after notice and it was fine. It should also be noted that there wasn't much going on (five tables were occupied), one waitress was constantly running around trying to serve all the customers, while her colleague sat at the bar, stood up briefly every ten minutes and was otherwise constantly on her smartphone. Today's visit (food to be picked up) was enough for me that I won't eat anything there anymore. When we ordered it over the phone we were told that it would take around 20 minutes to prepare, but that turned out to be almost exactly an hour. It has to be said that there was quite a lot going on, so it was a bit annoying, but I can ignore that. My friend's burger and the side dishes were okay, but the patty of my burger was slightly burnt on the outside and still completely raw on the inside. Unfortunately I have to say that you can definitely expect better for this price. Over the last two years the price has increased, but at the same time the quality has decreased. At least the ambience on site is nicely done. Conclusion: You can get better food for less money in almost every pub.

A little bit expensive, but totally worth it.

Generally not recommended for me. Reservation didn't work properly. We waited quite a long time for food and drinks. For a burger shop, the selection of burgers is not enough and there are no classics on the menu. Burgers were a bit bland but OK. The best thing about the plate was the coleslaw, which only came with a forkful. Price performance wasn't right at all. Normal drinks selection small for high prices. The staff was very friendly but unfortunately not on their toes. Ambiance was good. Parking spaces with wheelchair spaces right in front of the door.

Had dinner here today. The portions were large and the taste was okay too. But waiting an hour for a burger isn't possible. We also waited 15 minutes for a beer. The service didn't ask whether everything was okay or whether we were getting anything else. Only when asked was it mentioned that there was only one person in the bar. It's actually a shame for the location but I think that's it for me. Nevertheless, good luck

My wife and I were on our way and spontaneously decided to stop at Hanskoschbers for dinner. The reservation was easy and we liked the ambience straight away - the design is really appealing. Upon entering we were greeted by very friendly staff and quickly shown to our seat. The service was attentive and to the point, we didn't have to wait long to place our order. However, the wait for the food was a bit long - it took almost an hour for our burgers to be served, which is quite a lot for a burger restaurant. Luckily, the taste totally made up for it. The burgers were excellent, and that's exactly why it gets the 5 stars. It was clear that the staff were a bit overwhelmed, but despite the hectic pace they did their best, even the bar staff helped with the service. I hope that the team will get reinforcements soon to shorten waiting times. Then this place would definitely be a 10 out of 10!

Hans spoils the food and sleeps in the kitchen. The waiting time is like a total impudence. At reception you are left standing for 10 minutes without comment. The drinks were available after half an hour. In order to eat, Kaschber probably first had to kill and slaughter the animal. 1.5 wait for a burger and some overpriced frozen fries. Price performance expensive, especially the side dishes. Service is bottomless, chef is asleep, waiting time for fast food is incomprehensibly long. Once and never again! Hans screwed up.

Great service! Mega delicious burgers… we even spontaneously got a table on the terrace… it was a great evening! And then a delicious cocktail on the city beach 🥰

It's a shame that you can't give 0 stars... it's a total disgrace how long you have to wait for the food. Over an hour, something like that doesn't work!

Exceptional, very tasty burgers and side dishes. Staff is friendly and on the ball. There was a long wait to receive our order, but we arrived without a reservation on a Saturday at peak time, so that's understandable.

We were there for the second time yesterday. The nice ambience and the terrace with a view of the lake are positive! Unfortunately we weren't satisfied this time. The place was maybe half full and we still waited 45 minutes for our drinks and 1.5 hours for our food! Like all the other guests! So we weren't forgotten. That's just way too long! I also think the prices are a bit high - especially for the side dishes! 5 or 5.50 euros (I'm not sure anymore) for not even a handful of fries is hard! 10.90 for a salad that consists almost entirely of green lettuce is also too expensive! Unfortunately my burger wasn't medium rare either but rather well done. But going back wasn't an option because my stomach was already hanging in the back of my knees! In general, unfortunately a disappointing experience.

If you want to sit outside, you should make a reservation. Nice view of the Rohrensee. Unusual delicious burgers and desserts. Service unfortunately inattentive. Price level slightly overpriced for the portion size.

We've been here a few times. Our service is always top notch. Very friendly and hardworking. Unfortunately, the food this time was a complete disappointment. The fries were several minutes too long fried. They were totally dark and were really extremely hard and not salted. That's why they always had a burnt taste. It's a shame, because the fries were always delicious. The meat today was also not good at all. Medium wasn't a burger, even though it had the nice wooden stick in it. But unfortunately the patties were so extremely hard and dry that the whole burger just tasted really bad. It tasted like a frozen patty that had been fried for far too long. Unfortunately, we all had the tough meat. There was far too little sauce on the burger, so the whole burger was unfortunately even drier. When we got our food, maybe 8 tables were occupied, so unfortunately it couldn't have been due to too much stress in the kitchen. We met another friend who came after us. Unfortunately, they had a similar experience that evening.

Very nice location right on Lake Rohrensee. Friendly staff. Delicious burger. The fries were somewhat reminiscent of chips and were slightly crispy. I had never experienced it in this form and was pleasantly surprised. Absolute recommendation from me. Will definitely come back.

The food was super tasty, I had the pink chicken with Hans fries and a fruit bubble waffle. Unfortunately we had to wait 25 minutes before we could even order. We didn't have to wait too long for the burgers, but another 25 minutes for the dessert. It's actually very nice on the terrace with a view of the animals and the lake, but the chairs without seat cushions are very hard and uncomfortable.
