Went there for dinner with 10 people. After 20 minutes of waiting and actively looking for a waitress, we were finally able to order something. 40 minutes waiting for drinks, over an hour for food. That doesn't work at all! Apparently there was only one server for the entire restaurant. We would have liked to order drinks or dessert, but reordering was hopeless because the waitress was always busy. Even the new guests had to sit at tables where the dishes from their predecessors were still there...but they had long since left the restaurant. Every chip shop can do that better! In any case, it was our first and last time in the store.

The Doppelsmaschburger is simply awesome. I took it with caramelized onions, avocado and jalapenos. Plus gold fries with chilli mayo... simply a poem. Staff is very friendly and quick. My wife tried the bowl which was really tasty. We were there yesterday and there was a draft on the terrace. Schmubdiwub we had a place in the restaurant and felt completely comfortable. I'm doing everything right. Thank you for the great time. Tony

We were here today with a small group to celebrate a birthday. First I would like to praise the service staff, very friendly and helpful. That would be five stars for me. But why only give two stars? One service person for the entire restaurant is simply not enough! This led to a rather unsuccessful evening. Order was slow, burgers and fries were cold. Reordering was hopeless because the waitress was always busy. So we left much earlier than planned and treated ourselves to dessert around the corner. Too bad.

Been here a few times, but often hear the owner literally shouting at his service employees. I find it absolutely inhumane what's going on there, you just want to enjoy your food in peace and have to see how someone is being humiliated. Food is ok, but the drinks were always very good.

We had reserved and were even able to take our place a little earlier. The atmosphere is modern and at the same time very cozy - you immediately feel at home. The menu is extensive but not overloaded and looks very professionally put together. Particularly positive: Despite the full house, the staff were super attentive, friendly and pleasantly relaxed. I ordered the Double Smash Burger - and it was just perfect: great taste, cooked to perfection and just the right size. The prices are absolutely fair. At the end there was a very delicious dessert - and as a little extra, a free hot drink. Overall, a really nice evening – we’ll definitely be back!

Large selection of vegan burgers, all sauces are also vegan. Very tasty burgers, good location within walking distance of the main train station and still pretty quiet, you can also sit outside. What's also great is that the thirst quenchers can really quench your thirst (0.5l) and the lunch deal is also recommended.

Had dinner here yesterday and what can I say? The burger was very disappointing! Cheese not melted and the meat very dry and hard because they are ready-made patties from the freezer. Smash Burgers were sold out?? Probably also frozen patties Portion of fries was very small. For us the last time we eat here.

It's a bit of a stroke of luck, but we still got a table without a reservation on Wednesday evening. We received a very friendly welcome and were assigned a table. But then the waiting began. The staff generally seemed a bit overwhelmed with the few tables that were occupied. This was also reflected when the food came before the drinks. The burgers tasted delicious, but the fries were only lukewarm when they arrived at the table. The selection of burgers, wraps, side dishes and drinks is very large and offers a selection of vegetarian alternatives in addition to meat ones. Price-wise it's okay.

Nice shop, a bit winding inside, a nice terrace outside, if you call it that. Service was a bit poor for us... we had to wait a while before we could order. When asked if you could have the drinks without ice, they said “you have to look”….no. Just leave out the ice cream?! :D The drinks were boring. The melon iced tea didn't taste like anything. Non-alcoholic Wildberry was very bitter, Limoncello Spritz was not tangy… The corn on the cob was good, but the cauliflower wings were really just a bunch of breading and minimal cauliflower. The fries (sweet potato and regular) had little to no seasoning, and the onion rings were soggy. I can't understand how there can be so many stores like this. Every time you visit you are disappointed.

The service is very friendly, and the atmosphere is typical of a chain restaurant. The food was excellent, but unfortunately, the meat in the burgers was very well cooked, which affected the quality. The drinks "Sunrise," "Hans Mule," and "Jester" are highly recommended.

A cozy, inviting atmosphere that makes you want to linger. A warm welcome from the staff. They cared about our well-being, which we noticed through their frequent questions to see if everything was okay. Our food selection was delicious. They made sure we all got our food together, and we received our drinks immediately after ordering. I've never experienced anything like that in any other restaurant. My takeaway dessert was quickly prepared and beautifully packaged after we finished eating. The entire staff was very friendly. I'd love to come back.

Very cool place with very delicious burgers. If you are tired of German food, it is a very good option for lunch or dinner and very well priced. It is true that the quality of the meat is not crazy but the burger as a whole is very good. The burgers come without fries. We ordered some truffles to share between 4 and the truth is that the portion is very small for the price. Regarding drinks, as in any bar or restaurant in Germany, it is better to order a beer or something else before water. Good and fast service although the staff is not the most pleasant.

I felt extremely uncomfortable when paying. I was basically made to feel like I was forced to leave a tip even though I didn't want to give one in the first place. The whole system seems set up in such a way that you can't help but pay more than you actually want. Overall a very unpleasant experience - I definitely won't be returning.

Burger was somehow a bit soggy (meat could have stayed on the grill a little longer) - but it arrived pretty quickly and was a bit bland in taste. Service was great, prices were generally slightly higher.

All in all a good evening. The burger was delicious, the fries were on point as always, the limoncello was very tangy. I can't say much about the service, except that it was quick and you were served quickly. The food was also served at a normal pace and payment was also possible immediately. The ambience is in the standard HiG design and that's all you can do and not complain about.

Hans-im-Glück in Stuttgart, that is a broad political issue! Former owner Hirschberger had previously built up the Sausalitos cocktail bar event restaurant chain and sold it to a corporation at a huge profit, and with Hans-im-Glück he followed the same pattern. It is unknown who advised him to choose the name. The timing of the sale wasn't wise either, because immediately after the takeover the new owners made a name for themselves by adding an "insect burger" to their range. For a short time it was the topic par excellence. It's just a shame that the patties consisted mainly of egg and tofu and only a small amount of insects, but it was a great stunt for publicity! As if that wasn't political enough, here comes the second act. One of the new owners was slandered. Insiders already know how it works: A group that calls itself investigative reporters invents a lie that fits into the spirit of the times, gets celebrated for the story, then loses the court case because lies - especially if they are damaging to their reputation are not so welcome. Nevertheless, the victim, co-owner Limmer, had to sell off his shares in order to get the shop out of the line of fire. He doesn't deserve that, but some vile subjects in the country will stop at nothing... Let's talk about the food: I tried the gold melt burger (photo), which is refined with a cheddar cheese cream and a special, slightly spicy burger sauce. Really tasty, the patties were well cooked but still juicy. The fries were ok, but for the price they were so small that it was almost a disgrace. Anyway, you order a burger that's pretty well priced, only to find out that the sides are charged extra. What was pleasantly noticeable was the Erdinger Helle from the barrel (photo), which I would have liked to have filled a dozen of - but time didn't allow this. Regarding service: Almost all orders were delivered incorrectly. Those who ordered wedges got fries, those who ordered fries got sweet potatoes, and those who actually ordered fries got truffle mayonnaise. Stop! Not everyone, because the person who actually ordered truffle mayonnaise only got dry fries. However, the waitress covered this up so charmingly that no one was really annoyed. So if I ever have a food stall myself, I'll buy it out of there. I just didn't remember the name, but it was really fantastic. All in all, the decor is a bit noisy and the prices are too high, but people in the Benztown European district probably have enough gravel in their pockets.

Super cozy restaurant, burger was big enough and tasty, you could choose between different types of rolls. As a side dish we had the mixed fries for two, which was more than enough as it also had onion rings, bread, corn on the cob, etc. All in all recommended 🍔❤️

Wow! We were there today around 8 p.m. (my girlfriend and I) and we sat right at the bar. The shop was well stocked. Many thanks to the service, one service determines almost the entire atmosphere of the evening. We had a very nice and funny service. Very warm and you took great care of yourself, something you rarely see. Our changes to the burger weren't a problem either :) We asked which fries she would recommend. At the waiter's recommendation, we tried the truffle fries and they were great! Thanks to the kitchen Once we were there we got the drinks directly from the bar but that wasn't the case today, she didn't speak any German either. The food was delicious and we left the store full and will come back hungry. Hopefully the same great chef and service My girlfriend also really likes all the plants

We have 2 experiences: Sunday was TOP: great service, warm welcome. Interacting with each other, the boss personally came to all the tables and said something, the food came quickly and was delicious. The waitress even came to our table twice to ask if everything was ok: 5 deserved 💫!! BUT: On MONDAY: the restaurant stank of sh..., it was freezing cold everywhere, the service was listless, unfriendly and unmotivated. The food came late (even though there was VERY VERY little going on compared to Sunday). The waiter just served the lukewarm food and later - instead of coming to the table - just called over from the counter "is everything ok"? and was When paying, it's just as unfriendly as it is listless. This Monday was terrible and UNFORTUNATELY it completely ruined the great experience from Sunday... Too bad. Kind regards and warm regards. Thanks to the boss and the great service on Sunday!! We were looking forward to a revival on Monday...

We were guests there in the evening with friends. The service was friendly. The price-performance ratio of the burgers is inadequate. The burger itself was ok, but unfortunately nothing special. But extremely expensive. Would we eat burgers there again? Most likely not.

Wir waren mit Freunden abends dort zu Gast. Die Bedienung war freundlich. Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis der Burger ist unzureichend. Der Burger an sich war zwar ok, aber leider nichts Besonderes. Dafür extrem teuer. Würden wir wieder dort Burger essen? Höchstwahrscheinlich nicht.

We were there in the afternoon, there was a super relaxed atmosphere, good food and Isa was a great waiter. Best waiter we've ever had, we demand a raise for him.

On the first night in this city, we were looking for a restaurant that we couldn't find, and we ended up here by chance. The truth is that from the outside it already surprised us, but once inside we loved it. The place is decorated with a lot of style and love. Very friendly and attentive staff, and quality food. It was almost as if they had known us all their lives. Very good place to eat! Mandatory stop!

Upon arriving at the restaurant, we were greeted unexpectedly coldly by the employee. Before even greeting us or saying “good evening,” the first thing she said was that “there were no tables available.” The initial service gave us a very bad impression, showing little hospitality and a lack of interest in welcoming new customers. While it is understandable that the restaurant may be full, there are much better ways to communicate this, especially in an establishment that should value the customer experience. A good restaurant stands out for its attention and friendliness from the very first moment — something that was clearly lacking here. For this reason, I consider this restaurant a place to avoid. Service is a fundamental part of the gastronomic experience, and what we experienced here did not even reach the minimum expected.

My parents and I would like to express our special thanks to Calvin who has offered us fantastic service over three consecutive evenings that we've been to this restaurant. Calvin has made us feel very welcome and has shown careful consideration to make sure everything is right with our meals. He has done a brilliant job and meeting him has been a highlight of our visit to Stuttgart. Thank you very much.

Classic like every Hans im Glück, everything looks the same. The waiter was courteous, but at times you felt ignored or forgotten. The food was good, but for me personally there was way too much sauce on the burger. Sure, always a matter of opinion. Luckily you can pay at the table via QR code, otherwise we would probably still be sitting there 😅
