Very tasty, very friendly staff, nice atmosphere. Highly recommended. Both the homemade lemonades and the food are all well-thought-out and taste very good.

Amazing flavors. The side salad was a good portion with delicious dressing. I had the chicken filet sandwich with hash brown and mushrooms and it was cooked perfectly. Service was friendly and prompt. They have menus in English if needed. So glad we found this restaurant!

Always enjoyed staying at Hans im Glück. This time I was very disappointed. The food wasn't really warm. I complained but didn't get anything. Then I had a gourmet block and only got the fries deducted. Although you don't actually have to pay for one meal.

Nice ambience, food good and varied

I've ordered there several times, and this week I ate there. As always, the food was very good, the staff was friendly. We didn't have to wait long for our order. You also sit comfortably. All in all, highly recommended.

Burgers were fine. Personally, it bothers me that you have to buy the side dish of fries etc. in addition... I think that should always be included with a burger that costs €15.90. Volume was uncomfortably loud. Service very nice.

I come to you often... but the last few times I was there... The hamburger was good, but not as good as always, but the fries were inedible, they were dried out and looked like the leftovers from several fried foods. Maybe the store owner should take a closer look...

The service on 3/29/25 was subpar. The service staff were more concerned with themselves than with us. The food took forever and was still cold. To top off the disappointment, the prices on the menu were out of date. We're not coming anymore. There are good burgers elsewhere too.

Unfortunately my visit there yesterday was a failure... We waited over 20 minutes before we could place our order. The waitress noticed several times that we were waiting but didn't come to our table. The cocktails were an absolute disappointment, no taste, no carbonation. The fries were cold and the sauces had already formed a skin on top when they were served to us. The burger was okay, but definitely didn't justify the price. When we told the waitress, she apologized for the inconvenience and gave us 2 gold coins for each hot drink. I wasn't completely satisfied with my last visits, but now I won't visit the restaurant again.

The food was really delicious, especially the burgers - just fantastic! A big thank you for the vegetarian menu. My friend is a vegetarian and he loved the veggie burger and patty. Everything was at the highest level! The service was excellent - the waiters were very friendly and brought our order quickly. The restaurant is nicely decorated and the toilets were also very well maintained. A small negative point: the glasses were old and scratched, and one was even slightly damaged - which was not pleasant to drink. In addition, the soap in the toilet area was diluted with water, which was not so pleasant. Nevertheless, we had a great evening and would love to come back!

A nice experience, cool ordering system, great service, delicious food & cocktails

I would like to say something about the food, but after we were completely ignored for a quarter of an hour after being seated (they didn't even notice that we had left), we decided to look for another place where we could leave our money. No wonder the store is bankrupt.

The restaurant has a great atmosphere and my burger was delicious. I was very satisfied and will come back.

Food is like always super delicious and the service was perfect. They asked from time to time if everything was okay. One thing: too much noise because of music can be disturbant.

Overall okay. However, the service is underground. If one service person is responsible for the entire restaurant and the outdoor area, it may not work despite your best efforts. We waited what felt like an eternity until we could place our order. After drinks and food were served, no one came to ask if we would like to drink anything else. The young man couldn't keep up with serving, taking the order and clearing away. But it wasn't his fault, it was simply impossible to do everything alone. There won't be a repeat for us.

Anyone who expects service here is in the wrong place... The employees prefer to play with their cell phones instead of taking care of the guests. After the first visit was a failure (extra ingredients were left on the burger but not on the bill), we wanted to give them a second chance. What can I say? After we stood in the pick-up area for a long time and the service staff wasn't able to greet us (a good evening doesn't cost anything), we decided to go to another location... CONCLUSION: The burgers taste OK, but the prices are absolutely not right. There are competitors who offer better burgers cheaper... and I don't mean our fast food shops...

This is the second time I've eaten here, the food is very good except that the waiter is totally incompetent, service 0, deplorable, 15 minutes since the person in front of me is served and I'm still waiting to flee

The first thing I noticed was the friendly waitress who accompanied us to the table. A large selection of different citizens and side dishes, which you can add additional ingredients to for an additional charge. We were told that the salad dressing had changed (different from what it says on the menu), but we wouldn't have noticed since it was our first time there. The food came super quickly and was very tasty. We had a non-alcoholic cocktail which was also very good. There are also four different sauces on the table that you can use at no extra charge. The restaurant filled up very quickly and despite the high number of people, the two service staff were very friendly. We found value for money absolutely fair and would be happy to come back.

We liked it very much. Service was great, the interior is modern and you can take your dog with you. The burgers and especially the bowl were amazing!! We'll definitely be back

Hans im Glück in Saarlouis offers a great atmosphere with a modern, cozy ambience. The burgers are freshly prepared and the selection of sides is great. The staff is friendly and the service is quick. Definitely a recommendation for burger lovers!

Located somewhat on the edge of the old town, “Hans im Glück” was worth a visit in the evening on our second visit to Saarland. All in all a good recommendation for anyone who wants to enjoy a delicious meal in a feel-good atmosphere. With Berlin, the second restaurant in this “restaurant chain” has left a good impression on us. Just keep going, it's fine! Thanks!

We came with the gourmet block, which wasn't very well received. We didn't get two menus for the price of one, only one burger (without side dish) could be paid for with the voucher. The waitresses were friendly, but everyone seemed quite stressed and the atmosphere was a bit strange. Overall okay.

The food was very good, I had to wait half an hour for the coffee, the waitress told me it was on the house because of the waiting time, when I did the math later I realized that I had paid over 10 euros too much, I was talking to the cashier and I didn't pay attention to it...it doesn't happen to me anymore😉

Personally, I would have liked it if we had been told what the difference was between a menu and a single burger instead of asking multiple times. For me a meal is a main course, a side dish and a drink. Here it just depends on whether you want a cocktail, then it's a menu. Yes is right at the beginning of the menu, in the part that if you're hungry you'll probably often skip it and go straight to the real food. - From my point of view, everything was missing salt, but I like to eat salty and there was salt on the table for seasoning, so that's fine - Toilets are fine. However, paper towels would be desirable instead of just the air dryer for your hands. Our son was afraid of it, so the only way to dry his hands was on dad's pants. Toilet paper was also stuck. - Ambience nice All in all okay, but the price is a bit high for the quality and taste

Das Mittagsmenü war total lecker, sodass ich es nach dem Verzehr gleich nochmals bestellt habe. Der Service ist Sachen Freundlichkeit, kurze Wartezeiten für Bestellung & Essens-Getränkelieferung war völlig ok. Ambiente in diesem Restaurante ist bekanntermaßen schick. Die Chefin & Inhaberin war selbst hinter der Theke & es entstand eine nette Unterhaltung. Jedenfalls ist mein Eindruck, selbst Unternehmer, dass die Rechteinhaber-Familie ihre Baby voll im Griff hat. Werde künftig wieder häufiger die Location besuchen. PS: Preis- Leistung für das Mittagsmenü mit Beilage, großen Kaltgetränke & im Nachgang Heißgetränk mehr als ok.😎🙏

Unfortunately, the food was only lukewarm...and not everything that was ordered came. The order took quite a long time and the benches are totally uncomfortable...without cushions, backrests... Too expensive for what is offered.

Coming out of the Saarlouis Stadt Museum, we noticed how nice the food looked here so we stopped for lunch. Really good quality salads and burgers. Lovely interior and exterior setting. Dog-friendly. I had the Gluten free GF walnut burger without a bun and it was incredible. Lightly fried, crunchy texture with a tiny bit of goat cheese and slightly sweet chutney on a generous bed of fresh greens made this an amazing meal with side slaw. Others in my party had chicken breast salad, breakfast burger and the Golden Schmeze. All great. They have a deal where they add 8,40 to the cost of a burger for a side, a cool drink (I had the mango mint spritzer) and a coffee or tee to top it off. This is a franchise based on a German fairytale about a boy Hans who learns the key to happiness is not in material things. We have not been to others in this chain but I would go back in a heartbeat.

No offense intended, but you ask too often whether something can be cleared away. Not good if you're just eating your fries, which are on the same plate. It's uncomfortable to be asked 6 times in 3/4 hour of eating if you can eat something. It's more likely to ask if you can still have something to drink. :-)

Actually a normal HiG. But very friendly staff. The location is nice. Food is typically HiG. Homemade sodas are very good and the large fries are very large.

Nice atmosphere, well furnished and clean. Waiters are very friendly, but things could be a little quicker at one point or another. The burgers are highly recommended, extremely tasty. The bowls lack a bit of spice. Grandma's Secret is particularly recommended as a dessert. Overall, definitely worth a visit.

The service was extremely friendly. I found the drinks ("thirst quencher") very tasty. The burger menus are quite okay; I also found the price/performance ratio to be quite acceptable. However, I know of both cheaper and better alternatives. The “birch forest ambience” is not for me. What is unfortunately not possible is the narrowness and the extremely poor quality of the seating. Ich persönlich finde das Ambiente in Kombination mit der Serviceleistung nicht übereinstimmend mit den Preisen. Ich bezahle in einem Restaurant nicht nur das Essen. Ich bezahle das gesamte Erlebnis.

The burgers were great, nice and juicy and a great combination of all the ingredients. We had the “full-bodied burger”. The fries definitely should have been crispier, hence the deduction of one star. We once had the truffle fries and the garlic fries. Cocktails were also great and the service, super nice, attentive and fast, top! The ambience of Hans im Glück is nice, but because it is relatively large, it is also quite loud, which is why it only gets 4 stars. But it gets my full recommendation👍🏼

The quality of the food is good. The ambience is functional and modern for Saarlouis. The service is attentive, eloquent and friendly. With a bit of luck you can still eat here for less than €20. I would go again.

Unfortunately a bit disappointing. The fries weren't cooked through inside yet. Burger was okay, but nothing more. Service took a long time. Waited about 30 minutes for the dessert, then we canceled it.

Friendly service and short waiting times despite the restaurant being full on a Saturday evening. Our group was surprised by the selection of vegetarian and vegan products. Both the meat burgers and the vegan and vegetarian ones were convincing. Your salad bowl with chicken strips was also very tasty. Repeat announced. The interior is beautifully designed with lots of wood. Service repeated all orders after they were taken so that we could double-check any extra requests. Excellent.
