I had a truly lovely evening. The atmosphere was fantastic, and the service was very pleasant and friendly. Our waiter was Miro, and I haven't had such pleasant service in a long time. We'll definitely come again!

We were looking forward to a delicious meal and were not disappointed. Our waitress, Miro, was very attentive and friendly and made our evening even more enjoyable.

An incredibly, outrageously good Hans im Glück!!! You can tell that the employees here aren't just a shift, but a family. Everything runs like a well-oiled machine! Great food, a great atmosphere, great bar staff, and a very competent shift manager! We're always happy to come back.

I've always been very satisfied, and actually still am. Unfortunately, my friend, with whom I was here yesterday, had a bad experience with the service. It's completely understandable if you forget an order or the receipt system doesn't work properly, but when my friend's waitress just slams the bowl of sweet potato fries onto the table and simply says please, without any kindness, it's not very professional. My friend only said what was right, namely that the order was wrong and came late. Instead of sweet potato fries, they gave her regular fries, which were then replaced. Perhaps they should rethink which service staff they let customers spend. Money is certainly not as easy to come by as it used to be, and a certain amount of friendliness is not too much to ask.

There's nothing good about this place. My best friend's burger had a completely rotten, brown lettuce leaf. Of course, we had it replaced. It wasn't a problem, but they could have noticed earlier that the lettuce was no longer good. We also had to wait almost 40 minutes for our food, and the drinks were completely forgotten, only to be brought at the end after we'd finished eating. Extremely incompetent employees.

The service was unfriendly, and the food seemed carelessly prepared, more run-of-the-mill than fresh and appetizing. Unfortunately, the taste didn't impress us at all, and we weren't satisfied overall. It's a shame; we had really hoped for more and wouldn't go back.

Yesterday we were there again and the food was good when it arrives properly... unfortunately our child's food was forgotten and when the food finally arrived our burgers were cold and we're talking nuggets with fries for the child. I then said I would like the burger without tomatoes and the waiter said he would let the kitchen know... what happened of course? The burger took with tomatoes, okay, it may be just a small thing for some people but it was a no-go for me... the last time we were there there was a lot wrong with the order which I thought can happen sometimes but every time we visit? Well and finally the worst thing in my opinion, the waiter came because we wanted to pay, the first thing he said was we have to pay the exact amount and he didn't have any change... despite everything we rounded it up a bit and then gave it away, he couldn't do arithmetic at all, ran off three times with the money to change it and tried to rip us off twice which in my opinion is completely unacceptable... and unfortunately that was the last time we saw the place. I hope I could help some people with my experience.

The food arrived before the drinks. Unfortunately, the fries were completely cold, and one of the burgers was also cold and had to be reheated. Unfortunately, sharing a meal with the family was not possible.

Unfortunately, it's now an absolute disaster. Annoyed waiters without change, who go out to exchange money and come back without the right change. Our child's meal was given to another table, so we had to wait a very long time for the child's meal. I'm incredibly disappointed. It's a shame that you get such a bad feeling here and no longer feel comfortable.

The place was good. The food was ready quickly and was very tasty. We had the regular beef hamburger and a side of fries. The meat was very tasty and the topping with the bun was absolutely delicious, but the fries sauce was absolutely over-salted and inedible. The service was very negative but friendly due to the wait times. We told them where we were sitting, but unfortunately, no one came to us until very late (we waited about 20 minutes just for drinks and the first server, but the staff were nice). However, we were about to leave. My best friend was there and said exactly the same thing (waiting times, food). Conclusion: Service: Could be improved. Food: Delicious, fries sauce was over-salted, good burgers. Price/performance: was acceptable (normal and justified), I would still come back.

The food itself is good. However, the tables could be wiped down more often and the sometimes very dirty cloth eating mats could be replaced with washed ones.

Four of us were there last night and wanted to go to the movies afterwards. Unfortunately, the visit was a disappointment. Two people's food arrived cold after about 30 minutes, and a portion of fries was forgotten. The other two had to wait another 10 minutes for their food – after the first two had already finished. Despite reminding them twice, the fries didn't arrive for over an hour – also cold. The ambiance also left a lot to be desired: cobwebs hung everywhere from the ceiling, which didn't give a clean impression. Conclusion: Disorganized service, long wait times, and a lack of cleanliness. We certainly won't be back.

We received a very friendly welcome and were assigned a table. The tables for two are very small, and you sit extremely close (sometimes back to back) to the table next to you. At first, I thought, "How awkward... everyone will hear our conversation." However, this wasn't the case thanks to the music (which was too loud for my taste, although good). Our order was taken in a friendly manner, and we were quickly brought to our table. The food was delicious and looked appealing. On the downside, our menu was sticky and smudged (on the outside), the Kölsch already looked tarnished upon arrival, and our empty glasses weren't cleared away when our new order was brought. I would particularly like to emphasize that the service was exceptionally friendly, and we never heard someone say, "It's not my table, I'll send a colleague over."

Generally, I wish Hans im Glück had a decent ambiance. This time, however, I was shocked by the service. I wouldn't go back. It wasn't even moderately busy at the time, and after more than an hour, we still hadn't gotten our drinks. The same scenario unfolded at other tables. We had to return one burger because the waiter was distracted and didn't respect our requests. The same scenario unfolded with the second burger, but we were embarrassed by the scenario, so we ended up eating half of it. The taste wasn't that great, and the service was the worst I've experienced this year. Unfortunately, one star is still too much 👎 I don't need a justification for the response from some trainee who was assigned to this. I think paying almost €50 for this is simply cheeky, and it has put me off eating at Hans im Glück again.

We visited "Hans im Glück" in Cologne's Mediapark on a late Sunday afternoon and were absolutely satisfied. The service staff were very attentive, and our order was delivered promptly and tasted delicious. The humorous gentlemen behind the bar provided us with excellent drinks and ensured a great time. We will definitely be back and are already looking forward to our next visit.

Unfortunately, I can't say much good about this particular restaurant today. I haven't eaten at a "Hans im Glück" in a long time and was very happy, as I always enjoy eating at these restaurants. Today at the Mediapark, it was a bitter disappointment. My companion and I ordered burgers. Unfortunately, they arrived only a hint of warmth. The Smash Burger bore no resemblance to the promising photo on the menu, and the cheese slices were cold and hard. We had to hunt for the salad, but a tiny bit was eventually found. The "Vollmundige" (full-bodied) was ordered with extra goat cheese. Unfortunately, this cheese was also far from melted, and the burger seemed to have only experienced the hot part of the kitchen as it passed by. Barely warm and quite dry, it didn't taste very good. Additionally, it was served with mushrooms, although this shouldn't be mentioned, as they were at best a decorative addition. There was one whole, small mushroom and one cut up, which at best could have made a second whole mushroom. Given the price, I was somewhat surprised by the clarity of the menu. Now, we could have complained, but we would have had to deal with a waitress who, unfortunately, rarely found her way near us. Since we wanted to go to the cinema afterwards and were therefore limited in time, and the waiters were obviously overworked, we decided against complaining. The drinks, however, were all satisfactory. The waiters we encountered were all friendly and polite.

The burgers at Hans im Glück are disappointing in terms of taste. While the sweet potato fries are quite good, overall the restaurant remains an overpriced burger chain with rather mediocre taste. The only positive aspect is its location in the cinema they're renting. If you're looking for a good burger, try Cheeseburger Eddy.

We are absolutely thrilled. The food was delicious. The staff were wonderful in escorting us to our table, and even our dog was there to join in. It was truly amazing, and we had a fantastic waiter named Loai. 👍🏿. Well, I don't think so.

The loaded fries with garlic and cheese tasted like rotten garlic, probably some kind of seasoning salt. The fries themselves were also only mediocre. The coleslaw was unambitious but okay, as were the burgers. The service was rather poor (it took 20 minutes for someone to come to the table, even though there were quite a lot of staff but only a few customers), and the prices were high and completely unreasonable. Even the kids were disappointed. Not a disaster, but really not recommended.

Today, three of us were there from 4:30 p.m. to 4:55 p.m. We would have liked to order something, but were unfortunately ignored by several employees. This is the second time this has happened here. The first time, however, it was full, so this can certainly happen. Today, there were a maximum of 10 tables occupied. With four employees, it should be possible to take an order within 25 minutes. This is a known problem, judging by some of the reviews here. Apparently, the idea of generating revenue isn't important. Otherwise, something would surely have changed by now. I won't be a guest again in the future.

Unfortunately, the quality has declined dramatically. Both the service and the food. We ordered three meat burgers, and they were all cold. One vegetarian burger was okay. We received our burgers BEFORE our drinks and only received half of four drinks. And that was only after asking twice. We won't be going to Hans im Glück again.

I'd love to say something about the food, but we simply weren't served. Several times, a waiter who was supposed to take our orders walked past us without even giving us a single glance. Guests who had arrived after us had already received their food, and we continued to be ignored. We then decided to leave and get something to eat somewhere else, somewhere where we would also be served. I've always wanted to eat at Hans im Glück, but this restaurant seems to have put that wish far in the future.

The burger was unfortunately only lukewarm, the sweet potato fries were quite greasy, and even the cappuccino didn't taste so good—too strong and bitter. But the Kölsch and Coke were tasty.

Food is cold, order is wrong, you wait forever, drinks arrive sometime after the meal. And by the time the cutlery arrives, you've already finished without any. But at least it's expensive.

In my opinion, the pricing policy needs to be improved. Paying €18 for a burger and €5.90 for a pair of fries, which wouldn't even feed a toddler, is outrageous. Unfortunately, they won't be regulars.

I recently visited Hans im Glück in the Cinedom and had a truly enjoyable visit. The atmosphere is modern and very cozy. You immediately feel at home, whether you're there before the cinema or just for dinner with friends. Special praise goes to Silvia, our waitress. She was extremely friendly, attentive, and welcoming. You can tell she genuinely enjoys her job. Service like this makes all the difference and made the evening particularly enjoyable for us. The food was, as usual, fresh and delicious, with a good selection for every taste. Overall, a successful visit with great service. I'll definitely be back.

Recently under new management, with a tried-and-tested crew. The menu has been expanded with new dishes. It was good before, and now it's even better. TOP service. Good food. Be sure to take advantage of the outdoor area when the weather is nice.

We were at the restaurant yesterday and were served by waiter Taylor – and what can we say? Simply fantastic! Taylor was not only super attentive and friendly, but also really enjoyed his job – you could tell right away. Our children were happy every time he came to the table because he always had a joke on his lips and provided lots of laughs. You rarely experience such personal and warm service! And the food was amazing too: The Smash Burger was simply sensational – juicy, perfectly seasoned, and cooked to perfection. The fries were nice and crispy, and the cocktails were super fruity and refreshing. Overall, a thoroughly enjoyable evening – thanks to Taylor and the amazing food. We'll definitely be back!

We're currently in Cologne for the film festival. I never expected a burger to surprise me so positively. The food, the ambiance, and, above all, the attentive staff are outstanding and leave nothing to be desired.

Pure disappointment – never again Hans im Glück at Media Park Cologne Our visit to Hans im Glück at Media Park Cologne was unfortunately a bitter disappointment. We had to wait over 80 minutes for two burgers and a bowl, and that on a Friday evening, right next to a movie theater, where it's clear that guests are also tied to time. It's completely incomprehensible that the restaurant staff, and especially the management, are unable to take this circumstance into account in their planning and service. The service was poor and obviously completely overwhelmed: No one knew where anything belonged, let alone when each order would be ready. Questions were met with only shrugs or rude excuses. The visit was anything but relaxing; we couldn't enjoy the food because the clock was constantly ticking. Ultimately, we even had to rush to even get to the movie on time. Additionally, the food is far from outstanding; it's mediocre. Sure, they're solid burgers, but not something you'd go to such lengths for. The store apparently thrives more on hype than on genuine quality, both culinary and organizational. What's particularly annoying: We weren't the only ones with this problem. Several guests had to repeatedly ask for their orders, some even aborted and canceled in frustration. The entire operation seemed chaotic and uncoordinated. And unfortunately, this doesn't seem to be an isolated incident. The same thing happened to friends of ours two weeks ago. This suggests a fundamental structural problem at this branch. Conclusion: Anyone looking forward to a pleasant evening and good food should steer clear of Hans im Glück at Media Park. Poor service, long wait times, and a lack of organization – we'll definitely never be back. 82 euros wasted.

The service is awful. I waited 20 minutes to get my order taken, then I'm served with no utensils and my drink is forgotten. It would have been another 20 min to get utensils and who knows how long more for the soda. I moved into another table to get utensils and had to literally chase the staff for my drink. And it took 2 waiters to get me the check. The food was not special enough for this hassle. Not only I'm not coming back but I'm also not bringing my team for lunch here.

After another 60 minutes and repeated inquiries, there was still no response... Many customers had already left the restaurant, completely annoyed. After another 30 minutes and repeated, friendly inquiries about how long it would take, as our child was hungry, the overwhelmed waitress told us in a completely rude tone that we should please just leave now... a slap in the face. Great service... great customer service... Thank you for a fantastic evening! We've had a different experience at other branches so far... this restaurant is on the "black list." A recommendation... find somewhere else!
