We had dinner here yesterday. The waiters were running around aimlessly. Ordering our three burgers was quite easy, as we almost all had the same thing. We wanted a smash burger, which wasn't thin at all; quite the opposite: it looked like meatballs. We then had two triple burgers, one with jalapenos, and a double burger. The jalapenos were on the double burger. The cleanliness in the kitchen leaves a lot to be desired. None of the cooks are wearing proper clothing, and no one is wearing gloves. Everything is thrown together listlessly. The cook scratches his bottom and then moves on to the salad for the burgers. The cocktails on the menu are only filled with ice to reduce the amount of drink. And the €100 bill was the last straw. Absolutely not recommended. Once and never again.

Nice atmosphere and decent burgers. Only the wait time combined with a lukewarm burger isn't acceptable. We spent over an hour there for lunch.

I had an all-around successful visit to the restaurant. The staff was extremely friendly and attentive, which made my stay very pleasant. The food is particularly noteworthy – fresh, flavorful, and lovingly prepared. The restaurant is also highly recommended for vegetarians and vegans: the selection is diverse and creative, so everyone will find something they like. I'd love to come back!

Everything was delicious and we waited maybe 10 minutes to eat. Service also quick and very friendly

Absolutely disappointing! The burger only had the name of a “Smash” burger. A regular patty? What's smashed about it? When I asked, I was told that this was the correct patty. The cheese and the burger were cold and not melted at all! The Birkenwald burger only came with a dollop of sauce. Drinks came after the meal and that was on a Thursday at 5:00 p.m

Damn, the two waiters are rude. We ordered hamburger and fries and the drink was on offer: €22.90 per person, so a total of €45. I paid €49.90 – why €5 more? I think the waiter didn't show the menu or give me the bill. €49.90 is too expensive. I am blind impaired. Please not in the Cinedom at ‘Hans im Glück’. I hope these two waiters are fired.

Super tasty + nice and fast service

The food tastes very good, the service is a bit slow in terms of operation etc., and the atmosphere is cheaply decorated but doesn't matter. The main thing is that the burgers taste good. It's a shame that the other branches are gradually closing.

I'm not one to leave poor ratings, but here it goes. Got there at 8:45 and we ordered food and we were going to add an order later to take out to go. I originally order a coke. My daughter orders a coke zero. I changed my mind and ordered a Mojito. My daughter tells them but they already opened the coke so my daughter took the coke ans cancelled the coke zero. It is left on the bill. We then order burgers and eat. Food was very good. We then order the to go meal at 9:40 and then we are told the kitchen is closed but since they already have it on the bill it would be easier for them not to remove it it but we can have free drinks. There were only 2 of us for dinner and we didn't really want to drink, never mind $30 euro worth. Not sure why the customer did not come first in the situation. Not sure why they couldn't remove what was paid for and products clearly not tendered. Paid for a meal and a drink I never received. For this I gave them a 1 star. I do not recommend this restaurant.

Burgers are OK but service is super slow!

Due to a lack of alternatives, we visited the German chain restaurant the evening before going to the cinema. Despite being a Saturday evening, there was little activity in the entire restaurant. Without letting this bother us, we took a seat at one of the many tables. Unfortunately, the place was not cleaned or prepared for the next customer after the last visitor. For a long time we were ignored by the rather unprofessional staff. This was spent most of our visit smoking together in front of the door every 10 minutes. The food came quickly after ordering, but it also seemed carelessly slapped together and was rather tasteless. The drinks were warm because the glasses were placed straight from the dishwasher in front of the next thirsty guest. In addition, the music was so loud and tasteless that the person sitting next to us asked us to turn it down. Is that the operator's idea? Anyone who glorifies Hans in happiness as a culinary delight has not yet been to the American competition.

Broken glass, beef patty with a somewhat "old" taste. Price performance not given. Drinks with little taste but hefty prices, maybe add more syrup. One can only advise against... Service was OK, at least somewhat.

We weren't served for ages, even though the store wasn't very full. Only when asked did one of the waiters come out. The plates remained on the table for over an hour before we asked for further service a second time to order another drink.

Ate here after the cinema. First of all, the first impression was negative because cleanliness wasn't taken seriously at all. Benches and tables very dirty. In the entire time we were there, not one table was cleaned when people left. The food didn't arrive hot either, just warm. It's a shame, we could have gone to another fast food restaurant. It was most likely our last visit there. Too bad

I have rarely experienced such bad service in a restaurant that is so rarely visited! We sat outside and had to go in ourselves after half an hour and ask for service, even though the table practically next to us (separated by the glass) was served several times, so we could definitely have been noticed. Except that the table clearly hadn't been wiped down after the previous guests. Our food was just lukewarm when it arrived. While we were eating, the service staff left the restaurant several times to go smoke, but we were not asked once if everything was OK or if we could bring anything else. When we had finished eating and only had our drinks, it took a full hour for our plates to be cleared away. This also only happened after we were asked that we would like to order something else. The waiting times were excused by saying that he was currently alone, which was clearly not true, as several people could go and smoke. Then the order came wrong, also only lukewarm (coffee). All in all we were extremely disappointed. There were maybe 5-6 tables occupied in total. This can be done better even with a small number of staff.

The operator was really nice and even printed out our park ticket for a concert IN COLOR!! Great recommendation!!! Food was nice too.

We arrived at 9:30 PM. The side door was open and several people were still having drinks on the terrace. When we went inside to order food, we were abruptly told the place was closed. Meanwhile, two men walked from the bar upstairs with beers in hand, clearly showing that service was still ongoing for some. This is unacceptable, as both the website and the sign on the door clearly state that closing time on Saturdays is 11:00 PM. Please correct your listed hours or respect them.

Arrived at 21u.30 and denied service while opening hours are untill 23.00.

At first we weren't served for ages, not even the previous guests' plates were cleared away, let alone a table wiped down. After about 30 minutes I asked a waiter if we could order. Drinks arrived all wrong. Then when ordering the dishes the answer was twice: don't we have it right now? Finally, two ice-cold burgers and side dishes arrived. Not lukewarm but really cold. We let it go back, then the waiter brought back a side dish and said they were warm, so let's try them. The burgers came back warmed up after a minute and to my absolute horror they made me the same cold fries again. I'm not really asking for anything extraordinary but this was subpar!!

The waiter was nice, but didn't take a few things into account when ordering. To our surprise, the food was served very quickly but cold. Both the burgers and the side dishes. When we returned the fries, saying they were too cold or stale, they came back after a few minutes at the same temperature. All this unsavory fun cost us €130. Thanks for NOTHING!

We wanted to go out to eat, sat down and a mouse ran across the tables and benches: absolutely disgusting. We told the waiter (who just smiled as if he knew about the problem) and left straight away.. oh god... no thanks.

The service was excellent. Very attentive and friendly. The food was lukewarm and rather sticky. Unfortunately, the quality and taste of the food didn't impress us at all. It definitely used to be better.

Second time eating there. Second time, the burgers were half-warm. Cutlery arrived after repeated requests. We cleaned up the crumbs from the previous occupant's table ourselves. Two burgers, which were also lukewarm. Plus two small salads as a special, with two non-alcoholic cocktails and two espressos for €65, made me realize I wouldn't be visiting Hans im Glück again.

We were there in front of the cinema, I know the place and actually always liked it, although it was a bit hectic, but that's because it's in a cinema complex. Unfortunately, this time I got sick a few hours after eating and threw up. After that I felt fine again. I assume that it was an exception, but I would still like to draw the owner's attention to ensure compliance with the cold chain and hygiene. I like Hans im Glück and will come again, but this time after a longer break!

Solid food. Music way too loud. Places acceptable cleaned but not clean. Ordered food is sometimes not delivered, but is billed for. Unfortunately, it was only after departure that we noticed that a generous tip had been swindled.

Disappointing. Were there around 1 p.m. on Sunday. It was still completely empty and it was incredibly dirty. There were leftover food everywhere, on the seats, and the floor was full, even though the shop had just opened recently. Just disgusting. Definitely won't go there again. By the way the food wasn't great either.

Unfortunately the price/performance ratio is not right. The burgers aren't particularly special and if you have to pay 25 euros for a meal (including drinks), then the quality should be good. Unfortunately it doesn't. There are much better burger joints now.

We went to the cinema today and thought we could have a nice meal beforehand. After sitting at our table for 45 minutes and not being served, we left. The people behind us were served, late, but better than never, like us. However, the device used to take orders from the waiter was broken twice, so the order was delayed. .Good, that can happen. Unfortunately no rose for tonight. There was no system either. The man at reception was friendly. We don't know what to eat, otherwise we were always satisfied.

We had 2 cocktails for around 12 EUR each. Very briefly: An outrage, the cheapest of the cheap, tasted like artificial water. Simply disgusting, especially at this price.

The service was really great. The food came quickly and was hot. In the usual Hans im Glück quality. Not a star-rated kitchen, but you know that when you go there ;) The service was surprising and outstanding! We were asked several times if we would like something to drink and also asked if everything was ok and we were told that the kitchen and bar would be closed. Cocktails were good too. It's very drafty there and it's half a trip around the world to get to the toilets...but the service makes up for that.

It took over 25 minutes for the order to be taken. Guests who had just been seated for 2 minutes were brought forward. We were only noticed after we asked that we would like to place an order

Burger place, we had a salad bowl that was solid. Unfortunately it was very cold in the restaurant, service was understaffed and did a lot.

I had to wait 30 minutes to pay even though I asked 4 times. They always just said: the colleague is coming.

The idea was to eat a delicious burger before the cinema. Reserved the day before - everything was still good. Apparently there was still enough space on a Tuesday evening. Be assigned space at the counter. Seat cushions had brake strips. Table/place mats were full of stains. And the waitress wipes the table with an ultra-smelly rag. It doesn't work at all. How is hygiene supposed to be in the kitchen?!?!? So let's leave without eating.

It's small but nice. We wanted to go on vacation to Cologne over New Year's Eve and chose this restaurant. The food was ready very, very quickly and the fried mushrooms for a burger menu were cold, and the icy cold air from outside was blowing in next to us. After eating these fried cold mushrooms, the 2 people who ate the mushrooms started vomiting several times.

An absolute disaster... It was my first time in a Hans im Glück restaurant, and definitely the last time... The waitresses are all extremely overwhelmed. You got the impression that everyone was just unskilled workers and mini-jobbers who were serving people for the first time. You had to get everything out of them. The hamburger was totally bland and dry, the minced meat was just too full of pieces of gristle and of course it was completely overpriced. The atmosphere was far too open and far too loud for us. We reserved a table specifically and got the last table in the entire “restaurant”. Far too small for 2 people and it was dirty too. Cheap plastic furniture and disgusting felt sets that are covered in sauce stains, and forks with other people's leftovers still hanging on them, make the whole thing a disaster.

Despite the stress in the Cinedom because of the cinema premiere of Robbie Williams' film, everything went well and tasted great. Very friendly service.

Short burger stop before going to the cinema! 🍔➡️🎥 I was really surprised! I have rarely experienced such good, fast service. We ordered and less than 10 minutes later the burger was ready! It was tasty and the prices were reasonable. What more could you want?

The branch is located in the cinema building, so the acoustics are not optimal. The food and service were good, but the tables, benches and floor were not particularly clean. There was still half a menu under the table (nuggets, fries...).

It's crazy when you think about how many people have given positive reviews here over the last 12 months, for example, and how many people have eaten there and then the food inspectors come in February and even have to close an area because it was so disgusting. Strange that somehow no one notices this and doesn't notice anything with their sensory organs, even if the salad was rotten. Disgusting stuff like that and unfortunately there are enough of them all over Germany!

Great service, great atmosphere, good food

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Hans im Glück and was pleasantly surprised by my experience. The atmosphere was welcoming and modern, with friendly staff greeting me as I entered. I chose the classic Hans im Glück burger and was not disappointed. The burger was juicy and well prepared, the ingredients were fresh and tasty. The selection of sides and sauces was also impressive, offering a variety of flavors. What particularly impressed me was the variety of vegetarian and vegan options on the menu. It's great to see a burger joint making an effort to cater for all dietary needs. Overall, my visit to Hans im Glück was extremely satisfying and I will definitely be back to try more of their delicious offerings.

Mega good price, the drinking is huge. You'll definitely be full and you won't leave thirsty either. Staff is super nice, food is brought quickly too. I also think the selection of drinks is great. Even the homemade ones

The HiG in MediaPark is my favorite of the HiG restaurants I know - I really like the open ambience that is integrated into the cinema area. The spatial openness in combination with the birch trunks and the counter-like tables creates an atmosphere that invites you to linger. The variety of vegan, vegetarian and meat burgers is very pleasant and there are great side dishes. In addition, there is very little time between ordering and eating - so even those who get hungry quickly are well served. Compared to other HiG restaurants, you can actually sit much better here and lean on your back - something I've often missed in other restaurants. As far as the HiG in the MediaPark is concerned, I can only speak for myself, of course, but it's also more eye-catching: not only the food looks great here, but also (especially the male!!!) staff. Sorry, but you deserve the compliment.

The store is really great. The boss has the shop under control and you feel cared for and safe. The shift managers and service staff do a great job. The bar also entertains you. A very amusing visit to the MediaPark. The food and drinks came quickly. The food was still warm and very delicious. Our waiter Taylor served us great!! Always my pleasure!

Der Burger war sehr lecker, die Pommes aber nicht ganz durch. Die Cheddarsauce bei den Pommes war ein Witz, noch weniger hätte es nicht sein können. Preislich relativ hoch. Atmosphäre Hans im Glück typisch, aber sehr kalt im Gebäude. Alle Gäste hatten Jacken an. Das Essen kam sehr schnell, danach war das Servicepersonal nicht mehr zu sehen. Schade, wir hätten gerne noch ein paar Kölsch getrunken.

Bedienung maßlos überfordert...Essen? Na ja ...aber einen Burger für fast 15 Euro....überteuert und geschmacklich eher Floppy als toppy

Die Location ist sehr schön eingerichtet. Wir hatten reserviert und konnten damit die Schlange überspringen. Nach einem kurzen Anschauen der Karte wurden unsere Bestellungen bereits entgegen genommen. Die Bedienung war äußerst freundlich und das Essen war bereits nach wenigen Minuten schnell zubereitet und serviert. Der bestellte Burger war perfekt zubereitet und die Portion war genau passend. Die Pommes waren auch super, von außen leicht kross von innen sehr heiß aber luftig, nicht zu salzig, genau wie es sein soll. Der Cocktail war einer der besten die ich bisher hatte, vlt. etwas viel Eis aber dafür blieb der Drink auch länger kalt. Alles in allem ein super Restaurant mit super Service!

Waren mit unserer dreiköpfigen Gruppe zur Primetime vor Ort, hatten Glück einen Tisch zu bekommen. Im Mediapark herrscht am Samstag Nachmittag natürlich reges Treiben, sodass man nicht direkt von Ambiente sprechen kann. Sei's drum. Zum Essen...mir persönlich haben Salat "Wohltat" und Burger "Hochstapler" gut geschmeckt. Die Pommes waren gut, hätten aber heißer sein können. Der Latte Macchiato aus dem Vollautomaten hatte leider nicht das dreischichtige Muster-geschenkt, gibt schlimmeres. Mitarbeiterfreundlichkeit war ausgezeichnet und die Wartezeit auf's Essen war o.k.

Sechs Kellner auf sieben Tische und die Kellner haben es nicht geschafft innerhalb von 20 Minuten an den siebten Tisch zu kommen obwohl man sie darauf hingewiesen hat bestellen zu wollen. Die stehen lieber mit ihren Freunden von außerhalb an der Bar und trinken sich einen. In diesem Sinne an die Besitzer des Ladens, bitte überdenkt eure Personalplanung. Vielen Dank

Die besten Burger, die man käuflich erwerben kann ... dafür ist Hans im Glück ja auch bekannt. Das Personal ist freundlich und offen, die Preise absolut angemessen.

Nur noch 40min bis Filmstart?! - "Safe, machen wir!" Gute Burger, auch vegetarisch/vegan, schnell und sehr freundlich serviert, Preise im normalen Rahmen, dabei jeweils Auswahl verschiedener Buns und optional verbilligte Menüs. Vier Saucen - Tipp: Orange!!! - stehen am Tisch.

18€ für einen Burger und Pommes ist schon echt teuer. Und dass man davon nicht Mal satt wird ist dann schon echt unverschämt. Getränke, vor allem das Wasser, völlig überteuert. Nicht empfehlenswert außer man hat Geld zum rausschmeißen.

Nach 20 Minuten war leider immer noch niemand am Tisch, um die Bestellung aufzunehmen. Wir sind dann gegangen, da man sich ja eh nicht für seine Gäste interessiert.

Leider waren die Burger und Pommes lauwarm und dafür, dass es eine Burger Kette ist, nicht sehr gut. Sie waren nicht schlecht aber eben auch nicht überragend. Da haben wir uns mehr erhofft. Das Ambiente war ok, ist halt mitten im Kino, daher konnte man jetzt nicht sehr viel erwarten. Ich würde dort jedoch nur noch kurz vor dem Kino eine Kleinigkeit Essen. Die Cocktails waren nicht schlecht und das Personal sehr nett.

Leider sehr entäuschend, bis die Bedienung an den Platz kommt dauert es mehr als 10min, die Sitzmöglichkeiten und Tische sind sehr dreckig. Im Außenbereich und dann auch im Innenbereich rennen Mäuse rum und bedienen sich an den Essensresten, ich habe daraufhin die Bedienungen mehrfach darauf hingewiesen, das Mäuse sich an den Essensresten zuschaffen machen und das die die Terrassentür offen steht, diese wurde daraufhin jedoch nicht verschlossen. Ich habe den Burger Hans im Glück im Menü mit Pommes und einem Mojito bestellt, der Burger war für den Preis von 24,00€ sehr klein und es war kaum Soße drauf, die Pommes und der Mojito waren aber von der Größe in Ordnung. Auf den Tischen hat das Besteck, sowie Salz und Pfeffer fast überall gefehlt und die Musik die im Restaurant lief war hauptsächlich Deutschrap und irgendeine Party Musik, die nicht zum Ambiente passen. Ich wollte eigentlich das Feedback direkt an das Restaurant Managment geben, jedoch war niemand vor Ort uns es gab auch keine direkte Kontaktmöglichkeit, daher nur eine 1-Sterne Bewertung.

Rohes Hühnchen im Salat + miese Qualität

Die Orangen Senf Soße ist der Knaller, das Konzept des Menüs ist cool. Das Personal hatte beim letzten Besuch weniger Ahnung als ich, musste mehrfach korrigieren, das fehlt noch einiges. Nachtrag: Bei aller Qualität, aber das Preis Leistings Verhältnis stimmt einfach nicht mehr... satt war ich nicht

Wir waren am 28.20.2023 dort essen, weil wir Karten für das daran angrenzende Kino hatten. Was gut funktioniert hat, war die Reservierung des Tisches. Danach hörte es aber auch auf. Es dauerte ewig bis eine Bedienung an den Tisch kam. Schon bei der Aufnahme der Bestellung war die Laune der Dame mehr als bescheiden. Ein Hallo, bitte oder danke gibt es heute anscheinend nicht mehr. Essen und Cocktail kamen dann verhältnismäßig schnell nach 15 Minuten. Eigentlich wollten wir noch etwas mehr trinken aber ohne Bedienung wird es schwer etwas zu bestellen. Alle Tische um uns herum hatten dauerhaft leere Getränke vor sich. Bis wir endlich bezahlen konnten, vergingen 35 Minuten. Das Essen war ok, nichts Überragendes. Man hat gemerkt, dass die Bedienungen offensichtlich nicht geschult wurden und ihren Job nicht mit Leidenschaft erledigen. Der Laden sieht uns definitiv nicht mehr wieder. Absolut keine Empfehlung!

Refreshing drinks and good burgers

Wir wollten da essen gehen, aber der unfreundliche Kellner ist uns gegen gelaufen und hat sich nicht entschuldigt und es schaut sehr unfreundlich und herablassend einen an.

Das Essen war sehr lecker. Einzig die Musik war etwas laut.

Es hat ewig drin gedauert bis war wahrgenommenen wurden ,obwohl es leer war drin,da die Bedingung lieber draußen rauchte. Aber so konnten wir die Show von einer echten Maus beobachten, die über den Tresen gelaufen ist.

Arrived at on October 15th, at 16:35, waited for a table for 5 minutes (actually sat down claiming the space as no one bothered to lead us there), then asked 3x people to take our order. They past by but just didn't seem to care and always had an excuse not to stop... The last one told us "gleich, wir haben Übergabe"... And so we left at 5 PM having wasted 25 minutes on people too busy to even ask for our drinks' order. I guess business is too good for Hans im Glück... This chain will never see us again...

Wir haben 20 min draußen gewartet aber keine ist zu uns gekommen. Dann sind wir reingegangen und hingesetzt und müssten noch 5 min warten bis jemand zu uns kam und wollte unsere Bestellung nehmen. Gleichzeitig kam eine und sagte ob wir hier hingesetzt wurden weil anscheinend der Tisch reserviert war. (Auf keine Tische stand irgendwas diesbezüglich). Das war der Tropfen der das Fass zum Überlaufen gebracht hat und danach sind wir abgehauen. Unorganisierte, inkompetente Personal.

Als wir ankamen wurden wir erstmal ignoriert, nach mehrmaliger Nachfrage wurde uns ein dreckiger Platz zugewiesen. Mit der Bestellung haben wir knapp eine halbe Stunde warten mussten, die Bedienung schaffte es trotz mehrmaliger Nachfrage Gerichte falsch zu bestellen. Die Getränke kamen erst nach dem Essen. Die Gerichte waren alle leider nur noch Lauwarm als hätten diese schon länger in der Küche gestanden. Nach dem Essen mussten wir ebenfalls trotz mehrfacher Nachfrage auf die Rechnung warten für fast 40 Minuten. Der allgemeiner Umgang war eher unfreundlich. Sehr schade, dass ein solcher Service für einen hohen Preis geboten wird. Nicht weiterzuempfehlen!!!! Statt Hans im Glück eher Hans im Pech

Sehr lange Wartezeit, es wurde nicht an den Tisch geliefert was bestellt wurde. Die Burger waren nicht mehr wirklich warm und standen anscheinend schon lange in der Küche. Auch nach mehrfacher Nachfrage kam keine Bedingung zum Tisch. Nie wieder!

Gutes Restaurant personal scheint planlos zu Arbeiten bei der Frage zu bezahlen haben wir 4 x nachgefragt & 45 min gewartet nicht nochmal dort ...

Der Service unvorstellbar unfreundlich schauen dich von oben bis unten an, es gab kaltes Essen hatten uns ganz nett beschwert, weil es wirklich nicht ging und dann war man so unfreundlich zu uns und das Essen sogar noch kälter. Würde ich keinem empfehlen vor allem für solchen Preis
