Wir waren heute vor dem Kinobesuch noch etwas essen. Das Restaurant war sehr sauber und gepflegt, das Essen kam schnell und hat hervorragend geschmeckt. Ein besonderes Dankeschön geht an Alex für den freundlichen und aufmerksamen Service. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Sehr schlechte Organisation und ein respektloser Umgang mit Lieferfahrern. Man muss fast jedes Mal sehr lange warten und wird vom Personal häufig einfach ignoriert. Leider passiert das nicht nur gelegentlich, sondern fast täglich. Lieferfahrer haben ebenfalls Respekt verdient und sollten nicht ständig unnötig warten müssen. Das Management sollte dringend etwas an dieser Situation ändern!

Supernette, coole Bedienung, die trotz Pokémon Go Fest nicht die Nerven verloren hat. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und das Essen war superlecker.

Kurz nach Ende der Vorstellung, die Bude ist voll, aber das Personal im Wesentlichen auf Zack. Kleine Pannen werden rundheraus eingeräumt und Service funktioniert nicht nur, weil es die Dienstanweisung vorsieht.

Leckere Burger und sooo leckere hausgemachte Limonaden 😋 Trotz der heißen Temperaturen ein super freundlicher und aufmerksamer Service - ein großer Respekt an das gesamte Team in der Rekordhitze noch solche Leistung zu bringen und auch als Team Hand in Hand zu arbeiten 👍👍 Die Krönung war am Nebentisch, als die Rechnung kam und sich das Personal einer absolut unnötigen Diskussion ausgesetzt sah, weil die Gäste beim „Mittagsangebot“ (bestehend aus Burger, Beilage, Getränk, Kaffee) davon ausgegangen sind, dass das gesamte Paket 9,00€ kostet, wobei der Burger ja schon bei 13,00€ lag. Hut ab vor dieser Geduld und der fast schon pädagogischen Art (positiv!) den Gästen das sehr gut in der Karte ausgewiesene Angebot, nochmal zu erklären - ich wäre am liebsten hingegangen und hätte die Leute gefragt, ob die Sonne jetzt auch noch ihre restlichen zwei Gehirnzellen weggebrannt hat😅 Von daher ein großes Kompliment wie man auch mit solchen „speziellen“ Gästen umgeht. Wir hatten für uns definitiv nichts zu beanstanden 👍

Total überbewertet. Der SMASHburger war einfach 2 dünne TK patties, absolute Frechheit, vorallem für diese Preise

Das Hans im Glück im Cinedom ist für mich die perfekte Anlaufstelle vor oder nach dem Kino. Die Burger sind frisch und lecker, die Auswahl – auch für Vegetarier – ist groß und das Ambiente mit der typischen Birkenwald-Einrichtung sehr gemütlich. Der Service war freundlich und aufmerksam. Ich komme gerne wieder!

Perfekt als Warm Up den Kino Abend

Ich war ganz spontan bei Hans im Glück essen und bin sehr positiv überrascht worden. Das Essen war super frisch, sehr lecker und hervorragend zubereitet. Der Service war aufmerksam, freundlich und selbst bei etwas anstrengenden Gästen äußerst geduldig und professionell. Als Gastronom achte ich besonders auf guten Service und habe hohe Ansprüche. Umso mehr hat mich das Team beeindruckt. Trotz einer nicht ganz einfachen Situation am Nebentisch blieb das Personal stets ruhig, freundlich und souverän. Mein Fazit: Ein sehr sympathisches Team, tolles Essen und eine angenehme Atmosphäre. Wenn ich wieder in Köln bin, werde ich definitiv wieder bei Hans im Glück essen.

Very disappointing, unfortunately. The restaurant was practically empty at the time. Nevertheless, we sat at Hans im Glück in the CineDome for about 15 minutes without being served. The staff stood nearby chatting amongst themselves. One of the heavier servers looked at us several times but never came to our table. After this wait, we finally got up and went somewhere else. This kind of behavior is absolutely not customer-oriented.

I had two burgers today, neither of them were great – lukewarm, with a paper-thin slice of cheese on top. The fries were the best part. The apple cinnamon punch tasted neither like apple nor cinnamon. We won't be going there again anytime soon.

The service was absolutely first-class! Our waitress Selin, in particular, made our visit truly special. She was incredibly friendly, attentive, and professional – we felt welcome from the very first moment. Selin always had a smile on her face, was extremely knowledgeable about the menu, and addressed all our requests with great patience and warmth. Drinks and food arrived promptly, and even when the restaurant was busy, she kept everything running smoothly. Such attentive and dedicated service is truly rare. A huge thank you to Selin and the entire team – I will definitely be back!

Hans im Glück – CineDome Cologne I ordered a burger meal here, which included a cocktail. Instead of alcohol, I specifically chose a non-alcoholic cocktail – listed on the menu as 0.4 liters, the regular price being around €7–8. What I received, however, was a glass that was almost entirely ice. One sip – empty. In effect, it was just a few sips of liquid, the rest ice cubes. When I asked the waiter about it, I only got the curt reply: "Yeah, that's normal, everyone does it that way." Sorry, but no. If the menu says 0.4 liters, I expect 0.4 liters of drink with some ice – not 0.4 liters of ice with three drops of cocktail. Very disappointing, especially at these prices. This is not what transparency and fairness look like.

After years, I finally went there again with my wife for dinner before a movie. It was 6 pm, hardly anyone was there, and the staff were chatting at the counter. After 19 minutes, I went over to ask if we could order something. Of course, someone came to our table immediately. Very friendly, but noticeably a little distant. Did I perhaps interrupt a conversation? We ordered drinks, two Double Smash Burgers, and a large portion of sweet potato fries. The food arrived very quickly... the burgers were lukewarm... OK... the fries were too, and thanks to the Cinedom operator's cost-cutting measures regarding heating, they were cold in no time. We ate the burgers as they were, but asked for the fries to be replaced. We got new, hot fries. The burger tasted alright... But honestly, compare the picture of the burger advertised with reality. Nope, I didn't want to spoil the anticipation for the movie night. You won't see me again. Oh, and that's not even considering the cleanliness of the table and the seat... Nope... forget it.

The burgers are really very good. Great vegan and vegetarian options. The fries are too expensive and simply not good for the price: not crispy enough, not seasoned. The cocktail selection is extensive, but unfortunately, they try too hard and don't quite deliver. The benches/seating are too uncomfortable, even for a short visit. No napkins on the table...unacceptable! The service is very attentive, but disorganized and untrained.

Sorry, Hans im Glück, but your former charm is completely gone. We dined at your restaurant with the kids on the evening of December 26th. After looking at the menu, all four of us quickly decided on a smash burger. The first surprise came when we ordered: The waiter asked us, "Which bread would you like with your burgers? Multigrain or sourdough?" A little taken aback, we asked for the brioche bread, as that would have been our first choice. The only response was, "Multigrain or sourdough, otherwise I would have said so." No explanation as to why there was no brioche, no mention when we sat down or before we ordered that it wasn't available that day. It's understandable that they might run out of bread, but please be polite and let us know beforehand, perhaps even when handing out the menu, so we can plan accordingly when choosing our burgers. The waiter was already slightly annoyed because we apparently weren't cooperative enough and couldn't change our minds quickly enough, so we opted for the sourdough bread. The burgers were then prepared relatively quickly and arrived at our table. The next disappointment: the cheese was simply placed on the patties and wasn't melted at all, but rather sweating. The meat was also only warm, not hot. When we asked about it, we were told (quote): "That's how it is at Hans im Glück. We don't have time to melt the cheese." The burger was also only moderately topped. I think that speaks for itself. Just take a look at your own website... Well, at least the fries were tasty. And what's also incredibly annoying: the staff constantly running in and out through the side entrance to smoke.

We always enjoy coming back because we like the food and the service is always friendly, even if we haven't made a reservation.

The burger wasn't very good, and beware of the prices on the menu. It misleadingly lists the meal deal for €12.50, but the burger is charged separately at the end. In short, it's very expensive and not really worth it!

We recently ate here and it was delicious; we had a great time. Our server, Kim, provided excellent service and was very kind and friendly. She recommended some tasty drinks and burgers. Simply fantastic service and delicious food.

A long-planned evening with friends, for which I had to call ahead because we were a large group of eight. It wasn't mentioned on the phone that we couldn't sit together, and although we had a reservation, no table was prepared for eight guests. We were told to go upstairs and essentially find our own tables. However, since there were trees between the tables, we couldn't sit together, which is unacceptable, as this should have been communicated over the phone. We then squeezed a table close together in the corner, which was obviously too cramped, and the waitress even commented that we would have to move the table back when guests arrived, which we already knew and had communicated. But of course, an empty floor remained like that the whole time – it's ridiculous that she even mentioned it. Then, two of our dishes weren't brought to us initially, and two of our drinks were wrong. All in all, I was otherwise satisfied with the burger place, but this is unacceptable, and unfortunately, it's costing them a lot of customers. Poor customer service.

Lovely burger would recommend if your visiting the Media Park, was a quiet Monday afternoon the menu was a little confusing with the lunch time offer but was still worth the price.

The food itself is good. However, the tables could be wiped down more often, and the sometimes very dirty cloth placemats could be replaced with clean ones.

On December 4th, 2025, around 8:00 PM, four of us went to Hans im Glück in Cologne's MediaPark – and the experience was simply abysmal. Two out of four burgers were cold. There was no apology, just the response that this "couldn't be happening." We were then promised a replacement burger "in three minutes." This proved false: it took ten minutes. The "manager" even claimed it "could have been much faster" if we hadn't waited for him. And this was despite the fact that the tables weren't even completely full. If a restaurant offers so many seats, it should be able to serve them properly – with hot food and honest communication. The absolute low point came when we paid: The supposed "manager," extremely young and clearly without any training in customer service, seriously asked us, "What's my problem now? I got a replacement burger." When I explained that I had been promised three minutes, he simply said, "What do you think, how fast would that be?" To top it all off, he added a condescending "Do you want to enter your PIN or what?" Such unfriendly and disrespectful treatment is absolutely unacceptable for a restaurant in this mid-range price category. The service, communication, and professionalism are all lacking – and taking guests seriously doesn't seem to be a priority.

🍔 The service was excellent; Selin was very attentive and friendly. The smashed burgers with extra toppings were an 8/10. My only disappointment was the seating – very uncomfortable and cramped. Price-wise, I'd give it a 7/10 because of the lack of comfort and because I don't like leaning against strangers.

I don't think I need to add much when I say that I had to wait 15 minutes at my table as a single person. I ended up leaving… The restaurant wasn't even close to being full. The staff were just sitting idly in the entrance area. I wasn't the only one, as I overheard other guests receiving their food extremely late. Furthermore, some of the benches were so covered in graffiti that it was unpleasant to sit down. Hans im Glück is highly recommended at other locations.

The fries were forgotten. The fries were old, cold, and soggy. The burger was cold and far too dry. And then I realized, unfortunately only at home, that I'd been overcharged by €2. The server was friendly but very forgetful, and you have to go to great lengths to get forgotten items. Not very organized. I expected better for the price; I might as well go to McDonald's. Never again. Everyone was very forgetful, and when I mentioned it, they didn't inform a colleague; I had to take care of it myself.
