Anyone who imagines this place as a Brothers Grimm fairy tale is completely wrong. A young chain with great burger creations can be found in Fulda. A wide selection of variations offers something for everyone – as long as you're hungry for burgers. Whether vegan, vegetarian, or meat lover – everyone can eat very well here. The service is very friendly, fast, and courteous. The food is served hot, the drinks cold – that's how it should be. A small downside are the benches without backrests, which can make your spine hurt if you sit there for too long. Therefore, one star deducted for the ambiance. Otherwise, we were very satisfied.

The food was delivered quickly and with a friendly service. The taste was really great, and there was something for everyone (even vegans). It's great that there's also something special for children.

We waited forever for the food, and we only ordered fries. Disastrous service. On a Saturday afternoon, there was only one waiter.

My salad was flavorful, but the bread roll was completely hard. I had ordered a portion of fries, but they didn't arrive until we were almost finished. The restaurant wasn't full, but we waited a long time for our food. The waitress couldn't keep up with cleaning the table. I noticed that when you wanted to pay, it took a while for someone to come. If you have a lot of time, this is exactly the right place 😂

We were here for the first time today and definitely won't be the last. The food is incredibly delicious, and the portions are truly satisfying and filling. We had a salad with vegan schnitzel strips and avocado fries, as well as a vegan burger with fries. The selection of vegan dishes is extensive and immediately recognizable on the menu. The staff are attentive and super friendly. We felt very comfortable here. We'd love to come back 👍

Nice burger joint with a familiar atmosphere. The burgers were delicious and arrived quickly. I wouldn't recommend the coleslaw, however; it didn't come with any dressing and was therefore a bit tasteless. Justin's service was particularly great, though!!! That's not something you can take for granted these days, so thank you very much for that.

We really enjoyed the food. It was served warm, and the onion rings were particularly delicious. We also loved the free ketchup and dips. I'd also like to highlight Justin's friendly service.

Absolute NO GO!!! Price and performance completely off. Poorly trained staff. The chef wasn't able to top the burger I ordered correctly. The cheese was placed under the meat 🤦 and was cold. The fries were also cold and floury. I sent everything back. The burger wasn't any better afterwards (see pictures). Not all of the employees speak German. Instead of apologizing, they even lectured me about how I should express my criticism. In conclusion, almost €50.00 for two bad burgers with fries, including drinks. Decide for yourself!!!

I'm simply stunned. I had a written reservation for 13 people to celebrate my birthday at Hans im Glück Fulda – and my entire group found themselves standing in front of a locked door. A note was stuck to the door: "Closed for spring cleaning." HOW can you accept reservations and then simply close – without any advance notice? No call, no email, nothing. And no one was available by phone for days. That's not only unprofessional, but absolutely disrespectful. We literally stood in front of a dark restaurant with gifts and a good mood. Thank you for the embarrassment. With such "service," I'm honestly not at all surprised that you're experiencing a lot of bankruptcies. Never again.

A while ago, I wanted to go there with my partner for dinner. A waitress at the door told us, "Sorry, but if there are only two of you, we can't give you a table. Three of you would be fine, but two won't be able to." I understand that you make more money with more people at the table, but I would have explained it differently to my guests. I also come from the restaurant industry and would never speak to guests like that, no matter how long or tiring the day had been. The "Alte Schule" was clearly the better choice. We didn't recommend this restaurant and pointed them to the "Alte Schule," where you can eat as a couple, because who has a date with three people anyway...

The food was actually good, but the kitchen staff were absolutely terrible. You think you're getting your food, then you're told the brioche rolls are out. Then you finally get your food, but it's not even lukewarm, and the other rolls you ordered had been swapped. The waiter tried his best, but what could he do with such terrible kitchen staff? And the worst part was, the brioche rolls that were out got some after us. Not again 👎

I wouldn't recommend it. There were three of us there today and we had to wait a long time to order. After waiting again, the drinks arrived. Another 50 minutes later, the food finally arrived, and it was only lukewarm to cold. The seats were far too hard.

I wanted to try the burger chain, but I'll steer clear of it in the future. Service is really slow here. And the hamburger is a joke for the price. Unfortunately, the fries aren't exactly tasty either... too bad, it was a flop. I'd rather go back to the yellow M in the future.

The food tastes pretty good, but you'll have to wait a while just to get lukewarm food. The restrooms aren't ventilated, so it smells bad. Be sure to renew your parking ticket before visiting :)

I wouldn't recommend this restaurant. The food was mediocre and cold, as we had to wait over an hour. I then heard from one of the employees that it took longer because the food had been forgotten. So if you decide to go, plan on giving yourself plenty of time and generally don't expect anything.✌️

I'd like to start with the good things: - I can't complain about the food. It was good and freshly made. - The ambiance is very nice and modern. - The service is also okay. BUT - The food is WAY too expensive for what you get. - You often don't get what you order, or you don't get it at all. - You have to wait an unusually long time for food AND drinks. Unfortunately, I can't really recommend the restaurant at this point.

Food was ok. My bowl was not very flavorful, the chicken was tasty, the billy goat burger was delicious. Unfortunately, a lot of things were sold out or empty. There was no burger cheese, there was no coleslaw, some drinks were no longer there... Service was nice, a bit messy when handing over the shift. One wanted to clear away our glasses because he thought they were from guests in front of us. I found the toilet hygiene very bad.

I was in Hans Im Glück yesterday and we were disappointed about the service. When we arrived we were shown where we could sit, but after sitting at the table we waited for over tens minutes before a waiter came and took our order. The order was taken and 15 minutes later the food came and we had to ask for our drinks that we ordered.

Had a bowl that was more of a poorly made salad with micro traces of the promised ingredients. The breadsticks were hard as rocks. The chef probably didn't feel like delivering that day (April 13, 2025). Waste of money and time.

First of all, the two stars ONLY for the friendly staff. We've been here a few times but only because the grandchildren wanted to go to Hans im Glück. However, today was the last time for us. Far too expensive for the price, bowl tasteless, bread too hard and not edible, children's plate carelessly prepared, soda watered down by the many ice cubes. The cutlery dirty.

From what I've heard, I'm disappointed. After my 3rd visit I decided this was the last attempt. The first time, after ages, the wrong food came because the kitchen was closed and there was no way to return the food. I thought it could only happen. The second time with the children only coffee and 2 scoops of ice cream. After 25 minutes my cold coffee and 2 melted scoops of vanilla ice cream arrived. I just think, oh come on, it's good to do. The third time with my friend I ordered 2 burgers, according to her statement they were ok, mine was ordered with an extra patty. One patty was cold, the second warm roll, the bun was dry and the fries had little taste. And no, there was no stress that I would come up with an excuse.

Nice weather, completely empty, service ignored for 20 minutes - obviously they didn't need it. Never again 🤷

The bottles of sauces, ketchup/mayonnaise, etc. that are on the table are actually meant to be nice, but I don't know whether it's safe to leave them out in the sun at 28 degrees. Hygiene at the outlet of the bottle leaves a lot to be desired and you don't know who has already been playing around with their dirty fingers. Absolutely no go. Salmonella doesn't take long to appear. All in all, it can be improved. This was my second time in the store. The waiters don't notice you when you want to order. Everything takes an extremely long time, the ice in the glasses has almost melted so long they have been standing... both of my burgers were still raw on the inside in some places. If the waiters weren't on their cell phones so often or had a leisurely meal at the bar, there would definitely be an improvement I will do anything not to set foot in this store again

Good bye. We were there on August 20th. Google says the kitchen is open until 8:30 p.m. and the restaurant is open until 10:00 p.m. Unfortunately, we were informed that we would no longer be able to eat at 8:08 p.m., even though the kitchen would have been open for another 22 minutes. Instead we went to the Pizzeria San Remo, which gave us a warm welcome at this time. This is also how you can drive away your customers.

We were here for the first and last time. You wait forever to take your order. The waitress didn't even know there was strawberry lemonade. We had to wait 55 minutes for the food, and it was still cold and not what we ordered. I was asked if it should be exchanged, but I didn't want to wait another 55 minutes. I have the impression that the food is ready but not brought to the table. There was zero demand as to whether it tasted good or whether you would like to drink something else.

We had lunch at Hans im Glück... I can't understand some of the posts, the food was very tasty...the waiting time was also reasonable. I also find the restaurant very visually appealing. However, we sat outside because the weather permitted it that day. I was very positively surprised. That's why I give it 5 stars.

Nice restaurant, very friendly staff, who calmly explained the dishes to us and recommended them. The wait was definitely reasonable. The only minor drawback was that they were unfortunately out of cauliflower. But that can happen sometimes. No reason to deduct any stars.

If you wait over half an hour for your hamburger and sweet potato fries... you can get a latte macchiato without a spoon and without sugar. You have to follow every step.

You can also pay easily online using this QR code without waiting. On top of that, the food is super delicious, and the drinks and food didn't take long to arrive. ...

Unfortunately, our visit to this restaurant was disappointing. Despite making a reservation online, we had to wait a few minutes in the entrance area because the staff ignored the waiting guests for a long time. Our table was right next to the door, which not only was regularly triggered by staff walking past, but also always brought an unpleasant draft and squeaked loudly - clearly a maintenance issue. The order was taken quickly, but we waited almost 50 minutes for the drinks after we asked. The food took over an hour to arrive, and then the side dishes were missing and we had to ask for them again. The taste of the food was okay, but nothing special. Unfortunately, the service also left a lot to be desired: no one asked for any additional drinks, nor did anyone inquire whether everything was OK. In addition, the noise level in the restaurant was unpleasantly loud due to the high ceilings. A little music could have created a more pleasant atmosphere here. Although there were enough staff, the process seemed chaotic and disorganized. For just under €90, this visit wasn't worth the hassle - next time we'll opt for a quicker and less stressful alternative.

Worst dinner in a long time... not only did the three of us, each with a burger, fries and a drink, have two things wrong. In addition, the food was not tasty and tasted significantly worse than Hans im Glück Hamburg and Bochum… The service wasn't nice (not even rude) but if you failed completely with your orders you could at least apologize... Unfortunately a disappointment for just under €23

I was here today and it was very crowded (2 p.m.). After 35 minutes we still didn't have our drinks. Everything was very delayed. Nevertheless, the food was quite good.

The drinks and the desserts are really good, the real big problem is the waiters, today we waited 20 minutes only to order a drink and a cake, then waited 40 minutes for the cake to arrive. We gave this place multiple chances but it never changes. I think we will not go back.

If you want a different sauce on the burger instead of the one listed in the menu because you can't tolerate it, you have to pay an extra €1.90. The fig sauce is not a sauce, but a jelly/gooey, sweet stuff. The chicken was relatively dry, not fresh, only lukewarm, and unfortunately not seasoned well enough. The fries are good, generally everything is a bit expensive, especially for this quality... Sauces not at every table.

This was the second time I've eaten here and unfortunately I was totally disappointed again. The first time we had to wait over 1 hour for our burger, the second time around 45 minutes, even though it wasn't busy. In addition, the hot drinks we ordered for the lunch menu did not arrive. Which is why we decided to forego the drink we had already paid for after waiting 45 minutes. Unfortunately we can't go here anymore. Waiting time and service leave a lot to be desired.

We were simply forgotten last time, and after 20 minutes we asked if we could order something too. Then someone was there immediately, then service was also good, food used to be better, last time the burgers were just average. The practical thing is that in theory you can order online or pay online. But if you don't get served as a result, it's difficult...

We wanted to eat burgers on a Sunday evening, but unfortunately the kitchen in the restaurant we chose was closed relatively early. As a result, we ended up in luck with Hans, which saved our evening! It was relatively empty in the restaurant, which made the atmosphere very pleasant and you weren't sitting close to strangers. The waiter was polite and accommodating. The food was super delicious! The vegan falafel burger with beetroot does not require any cheese alternative and is simply delicious. As a side dish we had sweet potato fries and a side salad, which complemented the dish perfectly. We opted for a homemade lemonade and were not disappointed here either. Overall, you pay a little more here than at the usual fast food restaurants, but the food tastes much better and you can enjoy your meal in a much more pleasant atmosphere. I was particularly excited that the side salad also contained sprouts and that the dressing was made with nut oil, which was simply delicious. This was our second visit here and we have always been completely satisfied!
