We were at Hans im Glück today in 30-degree heat. Fortunately, the establishment was pleasantly cool, and the atmosphere was calm and relaxed. My colleague and I both chose the lunch menu. The food was prepared in a flash, and the burgers tasted first-class – just as I've come to expect from Hans im Glück. Our service was very attentive and friendly. The walk to the restrooms was also a little highlight – the design was very modern and stylish. The restrooms themselves were clean, well-maintained, and had their own unique charm.

Excellent service, super friendly staff, especially those at the bar! The food and drinks were excellent. I would come back again!

We had reserved a table for six at 6 p.m. One person was already in the restaurant ahead of us, so the staff greeted us with the words, "You have to look where you're sitting." It was very busy, so we were only asked what we wanted after about 40 minutes. The raspberries for the cocktails we had ordered had already run out by then. As we had theater tickets at 8 p.m., we asked about another 40 minutes where the food was. We were about to cancel, but the food arrived at 7:30 a.m. But a salad we had ordered was missing. The complaints handling was acceptable, but it couldn't make up for the stress we had during dinner. The restrooms were also abysmal in terms of cleanliness. The soap was empty, and there was a large roll of towels on the sink. It's a shame, really, because the location and setting are great.

We were impressed by the decor. The atmosphere was pleasant, and the tree decorations looked great. However, the benches were unfortunately very uncomfortable, which somewhat spoiled the overall impression. The wait for the food was unfortunately quite long. We were all there at 5:45 p.m. and ordered at 6:00 p.m. The food didn't arrive until 6:50 p.m., which is a bit long for a burger joint. The burgers themselves tasted good, though, although the portion size can vary depending on your appetite. Overall, the visit wasn't bad, but there's definitely room for improvement, especially when it comes to convenience and the wait time. Perhaps the team can improve a bit here to make the visit even more pleasant. Addendum!!! A disappointment – ​​and then a fool to boot. These flimsy excuses really could have been avoided. When the plates finally arrived – far too hot to have been freshly prepared – the server declared seriously: "Good things take time." Seriously? Who are you trying to fool? You don't have to be a restaurateur to realize that the food had obviously been sitting around somewhere for quite some time and was then simply reheated. Probably forgotten – there's no other explanation for the temperature of the plates. As soon as the food was on the table, a second server came by and added: "Since we always prepare our burgers fresh, there can be a wait." Sure. And there's probably half a cow hanging from the ceiling in the back, from which a fresh piece is cut each time before the burger goes on the grill? Let's be honest: The salad is ready, the sauces are prepared, the patties are probably lined up in a row – there's no need for any elaborate preparation. Fresh grilling – yes. But that doesn't take half an hour, unless you forget to do it in the meantime. The only scenario that would justify such a wait would be a packed store. But that wasn't the case either. It was maybe 70% full – far from overcrowded. There's definitely no excuse for this kind of behavior, combined with evasive and unbelievable statements. Never again!

I was there two evenings during a trade fair – very friendly, welcoming, and attentive staff. The menu has expanded significantly since my first visit a few years ago. The vegan walnut-based burger and salad are very tasty – the ingredients work well together. The fries here are always good and delicious. They're happy to accommodate special requests. I'll be happy to come back.

Making a reservation, which I highly recommend in advance, was quite easy and was made the same day via the website. Upon arrival, we were immediately greeted by a lady of the house and shown to our seats. The ambiance is beautifully decorated in the classic Hans um Glück design. Lots of birch wood and a nice, modern feel. You could order and pay either via a QR code on the respective table or, as usual, with a member of staff. The staff was exceptionally friendly, and the drinks and food were brought quickly and exactly as ordered, despite the restaurant's large crowd. To drink, I had a beer, choosing between a local beer or a Paulaner. I followed it with a Spezi, which comes with a glass and ice cubes. For dinner, I ordered loaded fries with jalapenos (fries with an "extra sauce") and a rösti burger with an extra burger patty. Everything was cooked (or deep-fried) to perfection and arrived at the table fairly quickly. All in all, a lovely restaurant with a great atmosphere and delicious food. I can only recommend it!

Unfortunately, the employees have no desire to work or to earn money... the bachelor party was completely torn apart... you couldn't sit at the same table... so you couldn't take care of your guests... no one was really full... never again here... sorry... giving notice a day in advance that not everyone would be sitting at the same table... is completely unacceptable

The food is okay, nothing particularly great, but that's fine for system catering. However, it is now just overpriced. 8 euros for a handful of breaded cauliflower, 16 euros for a salad with a vegan meat alternative. Selling that with a drink for 31.80 is pretty steep. Even if, of course, everything becomes more expensive, which is understandable. But for just under 32 euros you can get much better food and better service elsewhere.

An incredible atmosphere and a very friendly, attentive team. The food is delicious and beautifully presented. The service was also particularly pleasant – charming, professional and with a smile that will stay in your memory. The drinks also really surprised me, because the menu says thirst quencher, I thought you would get a packet of thirst quencher on the table, but no! It was a really well made drink in a 500ml glass. Will definitely come back, highly recommended!

The waiter once again had no change and had to pay €35.50 and when he saw the €100 bill there was no change. He came across as very upset. Food was otherwise good. And standing at the door until someone comes to take you to the table is also a little silly.

The inside of the shop is typically decorated with birch trunks. The staff is very friendly and quick and, as always with Hans im Glück, they are on a first-name basis. I ordered this evening from Hans im Glück via Lieferando and was prepared for a longer delivery time. After waiting for an hour, my order was simply canceled by the restaurant. I've always had good experiences there, but this is really outrageous. If it had been canceled immediately upon receipt of the order, I would at least have been able to look for an alternative.

Three hours to get two cold burgers delivered via Lieferando is a very poor achievement, even if today is a holiday. For the price and the waiting time I would like to give zero stars!!!

The dining experience at Hans im Glück was initially very positive. When we arrived, the atmosphere of the restaurant seemed very nice. When it came to service, however, it was exactly the opposite: two out of six people wanted to order tap water. This request turned out to be a very big problem: after hesitating, the waiter finally allowed the order, but only brought the two drinks after half an hour. However, this was just the beginning of our frightening visit. The food wasn't bad, but the value for money could be debated. Even when paying, the service, which initially seemed friendly, turned out to be extremely rude. He left us no choice but to tip and, when it wasn't enough for him, he literally said: "Now that's a bit poor." What a disgrace! We thought we weren't hearing right. The waiter also didn't have his change, but that was a small thing compared to the rest of his behavior. It's up to you whether you visit this restaurant, but I don't recommend it.

I tried the Hans im Glück Burger with garlic fries. 🍔🍟 The burger patty was juicy, but they didn’t ask about the cooking preference. The garlic flavor in the fries was noticeable, but the other spices were a bit too overpowering. For my drink, I had Wild Berry, which tasted mostly like soda rather than red forest berries. The atmosphere was nice, and the staff was friendly and welcoming. However, I found the prices quite high compared to the burger quality and flavors. Those planning to have dinner here should expect to spend around 25 euros.

We were a small school group at the restaurant. Our order was taken after a while, but the waiter became a bit irritated when we ordered regular tap water. It then took about half an hour (!) for the tap water to arrive. The burgers arrived a while later. They were quite tasty, but nothing spectacular. But the real scandal came just now: When it came to paying, I wanted to pay normally, giving the waiter €20 in cash. Suddenly, he asked with a mischievous smile: "How much?" At first, I didn't know what he meant, since he had told me the price to pay and I had simply given him the money. Then I realized the man was looking for a tip. I find that very rude. When my friend paid, he rounded up the price he had to pay, which would have given the waiter a tip of 30 cents. Then the waiter started laughing and said, "That's pretty lame." EXCUSE ME? I thought I misheard. Now it's up to you how you handle this review, but I definitely don't recommend this restaurant.

The seating is more suited to a short stay; unless you're young and in your 20s, you'll probably find yourself sliding from one seat to the next 😅🙈 I can't recommend the high tables. The selection is good, and the food is delicious. I think the service could be improved, and the wait times can sometimes be quite long (reception & table assignment, taking orders).

Wir wurden herzlich von einer Dame begrüßt die uns platziert hat. Der Kellner kam relativ schnell und war von Beginn genervt von unserem Besuch. Wir brauchten noch etwas Zeit zum aussuchen, als wir uns sicher waren haben wir längere Zeit gewartet wofür wir auch Verständnis hatten weil der Laden relativ gut besucht war. Als der Kellner wieder kam wirkte er immer noch sehr genervt von uns, die Getränke kamen schnell doch das Essen brauchte sehr lange. Als es endlich kam war es kalt. Wir verzichteten jedoch darauf es anzusprechen was also unsere eigene Schuld war. Während des Essens kam niemand um nach uns zu sehen und auch danach warteten wir 30/40 Minuten bis er zum abräumen kam und wir endlich zahlen konnten. Aufgrund der vielen genervten Bemerkungen und des kalten Essens rundete ich nur auf beim Trinkgeld was wirklich frech war denn es waren nur 20 Cent. Jedoch war es genau das richtige da ich dafür dann auch noch angemault wurde und mir gesagt wurde ich solle doch mehr Geld verdienen um Trinkgeld zu geben. Es ging mir nicht ums Geld sondern darum das dieser Kellner es geschafft hat ein zwar kaltes aber doch leckeres Essen unschön zu machen mit seinen unverschämten Bemerkungen und sein unangenehmes Verhalten. Nach diesem Aufenthalt hatten ich und meine Freunde keine Lust mehr das Restaurant noch einmal zu besuchen. Der Kellner zeigte auch keine Einsicht über sein Verhalten sondern machte sich weiter über uns lächerlich.

We were warned that they would only serve slowly... In short... they did everything so that we wouldn't be left. When we left, the administrator was pleased. It was racial discrimination. Because we are Ukrainians. Audacity, insolence, racist discrimination. I have not yet encountered ruder treatment than here in Bremen. If you like to choose your own table and not get spit on your face, then you are out of place here. This place is terrible. No wonder there are hardly any visitors. The interior is great, but the treatment is terrible.

I have never encountered more rude behavior from service personnel. Perhaps this is the waitress's attitude towards Auslanders (probably it looks like discrimination) So an unfriendly attitude of service personnel I have never heard of. I would rather not let the customers know that they are Auslanders (they would discriminate against them).

An insider tip if you want something quick and still taste really good. In addition to the exceptional and very beautiful ambience, what stands out is the special service. A young lady with curly hair looked after us and it couldn't have been more pleasant and attentive. Very cordial. Highlight: I had forgotten something and she saw us walking past later, jumped out and handed it to me. Are thrilled. By the way, the food was, as always, wonderful, fresh and very tasty. Absolutely recommended.

The burgers are delicious, there's nothing wrong with that. Were there quickly too, so everything was fine. However, as soon as we ordered, we were informed - in a confidential first-name relationship - that Neo Taste - the one we used - was the very last one and would soon be history in this restaurant. Other guests were also cheerfully mocked and when paying in the almost empty restaurant it suddenly became doubtful that we had redeemed the voucher. We were able to prove that, but honestly: no matter how good the burgers are, as a guest I wouldn't want to have a service person with such a lack of manners.

Apart from the fact that the store is massively expensive, it actually tastes really good. Only when you order online and after waiting almost 1 1/2 hours you get the message that the order has been canceled does I get a little fucked up. Eating there is definitely great, I'll never order again.

We had dinner there last night and it was a disaster. The service was overwhelmed, we waited 1 1/2 hours for our food. When it finally came, some things were wrong and every meal was cold. No thanks Never again

I ordered two burgers home. The burgers we ordered came with the wrong bun. Burger itself was halfway ok, but since it was completely surrounded by a sticky bun with sesame seeds, it only got two stars.

The fries were off (!), as was the smash burger. The burger was good, but not great either. It is rather cramped for groups.

Hello, We went to “Hans im Glück” on a Friday evening before visiting the stadium. We reserved a table for 7 people at the window at 5:30 p.m. Unfortunately the table wasn't by the window but inside. The service seemed completely overwhelmed. We waited 20 minutes for our drinks and even 1 hour 45 minutes for the requested castles and side dishes. The wait for drinks lasted the entire stay The beer we ordered came in 3 different types of glass, which we also found to be very unprofessional. We asked/complained about all of this to the waiter several times. But he seemed powerless. Unfortunately, the 7 meals we ordered didn't come together and some of the side dishes and toppings we ordered on the burgers were missing. We pointed this out again, but because we wanted to be on time for the Werder game, we saved ourselves the repairs in the kitchen that were offered. We are then after 2 hours and 20 minutes. out of this shop...and probably won't come back there again. All in all, it was very disappointing there.

Leider wieder enttäuscht Ich war zum zweiten Mal in diesem Restaurant, um ihm eine zweite Chance zu geben – leider ohne Erfolg. Das Essen hat 50 Minuten gedauert, die Portion war sehr klein und dafür viel zu teuer. Außerdem wurde das falsche Brot zum Burger gebracht, obwohl ich ein anderes bestellt hatte. Der Service war unfreundlich und langsam. Nach dieser Erfahrung werde ich nicht noch einmal wiederkommen.

The ambience itself was very pleasant and beautiful, especially because of the lighting. We had the Smashburgers (Triple & Double), which were really tasty and filled you up well. Unfortunately, the space that was assigned to us wasn't that comfortable because we were sitting on small benches and if someone was already sitting behind you, it could get tight. The size of the table also bothered me personally, as the sauces were presented on a very thick wooden tray on the side. Regarding the service: It may be that the shop was understaffed at the time, but we had to wait for some time before we were allowed to order + the reception, i.e. being assigned to a table, was also a bit long and there were others in front of us who have been waiting. Not bad in itself, but the entrance isn't very wide and it was a bit annoying when customers wanted to get out of there. But the food didn't take that long and, as I said, it was delicious. Would I say breathtaking? No, but definitely good and ok for the price. However, the portion for €7.50 chili cheese fries (btw the sauce kicks well so it's really spicy) was really small. We wanted to share one because of the price but it was really little. And €15 for two portions is really steep. I have no idea if all portions are that big, but you can definitely make it bigger. Overall good but there are equally good alternatives.

We have 1 hour 40!!! Waited minutes for our food. When we wanted to cancel it, it happened. That's definitely too long. We were told they were chronically understaffed in the kitchen, but the place was full. Something doesn't fit.

I already knew Hans im Glück from Kiel and decided when I was in Bremen to eat there again. Bremen was completely overcrowded this WE because of the musical and Tattoo Bremen plus football on Sunday and that's what it looked like in the restaurants too. Nevertheless, I received a wonderfully warm welcome and was only offered a remaining place, but with a level of friendliness that I have rarely experienced! I then ordered using the QR code at the table and while I was waiting, Vanessa (?) kept asking me if everything was okay and also the chef, who kept putting the ordered food for the delivery services in the warming bag that was on mine He stood at the table, brought it, and always had a very nice chat with me. The Alsatian burger was very tasty, but unfortunately I didn't taste much of the camembert and cranberries. When I said this, I was immediately offered to serve some more, which I politely declined because it was still tasty, I was almost finished and I wanted to save the waiters the hassle about it. Instead, I was given a hot chocolate by Vanessa, who handed it over to the barrista with the words “Extra for you, my pretty one!” 😊 It was such a successful evening that I will definitely come back on my next visit to Bremen!

I had dinner there with a few friends on Saturday. Everyone was thrilled by the cozy atmosphere, even though it was very full, our drinks came very quickly. The burgers followed and were simply incredibly tasty…and special! 👌

At first glance it seems like an elegant and expensive place... But the truth is that it has very affordable prices and the burgers are from another world... We tried the classic one and another that had mushrooms and bacon... Uffff, the best ones we have ever eaten in Bremen. You must try the orange sauce!!!

We had dinner there after the Mama Mia musical and had planned enough time to catch our train at around 7:00 p.m. When we wanted to pay, about 45 minutes before the train left, no one felt responsible. Paying by code wasn't possible either because we had zero reception in the restaurant! We asked the waitress several times if we could pay, saying that our train was about to leave, and her answer was just . Others want to pay too! Very unfriendly, anti-social and incompetent……. Never again!!!

Despite a reservation, there was a waiting time of about an hour and a half. Delivery services such as Lieferando etc. were served in the meantime. Drinks came relatively spontaneously and the food took over an hour and a half. The sweet potato fries were cold so we had to return them. There was no soap in the toilets and no towels to clean your hands. The men's toilet in Saar looks like a mess. We won't be coming back.

Very unfortunate... Actually a great restaurant, but: We originally reserved a table there 1.5 hours before the musical. When we were there it was so busy that according to the staff it would have taken an hour+ to eat. Since we wouldn't have made it to the musical in time, the staff kindly gave us a reservation for 8:15 p.m. after the musical (they decided that way, we didn't know exactly when it would be over). When we got there at 8:45 p.m. because the musical apparently lasted a little longer than the (very friendly) staff had estimated, we were told that the kitchen was already closed and that we could only drink something. When you consider that the restaurant is actually open until 10 p.m. and we've been there before and there's no food due to the volume of customers, it's a bit sad! The staff certainly can't help it, but we weren't the only ones who were so disappointed. It's a shame, nice restaurant but little plan!

Super disappointed. Today after the fair I was really looking forward to a delicious burger and fries with truffle mayo. Maybe it's different in your restaurant, I was very negatively surprised by the delivery. The delivery was late, the food was at most lukewarm and then unfortunately I found two black, medium-length hairs in my food that I couldn't miss. In my opinion, this unfortunately shouldn't happen and is very unsavory. Sorry, I would have liked to give you a better rating.
