Hanoi Deli in Hamburg

A true disaster. The summer rolls as an appetizer tasted like chewing gum, and the main course came with wilted lettuce. The waitresses were unfriendly and disinterested. You felt like an unwelcome guest. Nobody needs that. Don't go there!

For me, the best Pho in Hamburg! And I've tried a lot. But for me, this one is perfect: you get this rich broth where you can taste the individual spices, very tender round meat, and lots of onions and herbs as a topping. Sometimes the Pho I've had elsewhere is too watery and plain.

After several failed attempts to order, a rather inattentive server appeared. Even the AirPods in the server's ear didn't give me the feeling of being the center of attention. After a long wait, the chef wasn't above serving a surprise. Their unusual, individual tastes will remain in my memory for a long time. Fortunately, when designing the toilet outlet, a little expansion foam was applied to a particularly deep edge, thus sparing me the consequences of a head injury. It's also worth mentioning that the aggressively flashing electrical wires in the urinal make choosing the right restroom easier. I recommend this restaurant to anyone open to exciting experiences.

Sticky, chewy spring rolls meet dry tofu. Seldom eaten so badly. Portions very small. All plates broken (corners chipped)

I have rarely eaten so badly. The appetizer was like bubble gum and the fried tofu was chewy. The service tried hard, but was helpless. The plates were broken in almost every corner. Really run down. The restaurant was better a few years ago. I don't know why the restaurant got so bad.

Unfortunately, we had a mediocre visit to the restaurant. The service was very friendly, the food came quickly, and the place itself is perfectly fine. My friend, however, has celiac disease and specifically asked when ordering whether the appetizer she wanted was gluten-free. The waitress seemed a bit unsure at first, but then assured us that it was. Gluten was also not listed in the allergens. Unfortunately, my friend had to go to the bathroom immediately after eating because she had a terrible stomach ache and cramps and was completely intolerant to the food – so there was probably gluten in the food, which I find really dangerous if you have an intolerance and specifically ask beforehand. On top of that, it was extremely cold in the restaurant, and we were somewhat indirectly asked to leave at the end because the waitresses suddenly had their jackets on. So, as I said, the restaurant is absolutely fine, the food was too, for the price, and the service was friendly. But we didn't really feel comfortable, especially with the wrong food recommendation...

The service is friendly and attentive, but unfortunately the food is absolutely terrible. Zero flavor, soft vegetables, and lukewarm. We had two different dishes, both of which were extremely bland, and unfortunately, we both had stomachaches afterward. Not recommended.

Well, there was hardly any chicken in the soup. What was in it was completely flavorless. Service at the checkout was very "sparse"—not overly unfriendly, but unpleasant. My request for more cilantro was declined: it was already in there. Well, well, well.

The fried noodles were really not good. Hardly seasoned, few vegetables and all for 10 euros. I've gotten much better fried noodles for less money.

We went there spontaneously for dinner and I have to say it was quite OK 👌🏾 Maybe I'm a little spoiled because I eat Vietnamese 3 times a week and it's very good 😋 It lacked a bit of kick or taste. As you can see, the sauce in the second course is the soup, but it tasted quite good hehe and the beef was quite salty. I think it was just a daytime performance ;-) If we come back again I'll be a little more critical. The staff was very friendly, the restaurant was very clean and had a nice atmosphere. It's rather difficult to reach by car, but a seat at the window is important so that you can follow the hustle and bustle at the large intersection.

You can absolutely recommend this restaurant without hesitation, totally great! This is one of the few restaurants that I can really recommend and I visit this restaurant again and again! We also recommend the teas there, with ice cubes and various ingredients, in a class of their own!!! There are no long waiting times, the food is Oberkassel, the staff is very friendly and nice, the prices are not overpriced! The ambience is great because it is quiet there and you don't hear any shouting or noise, here you can really enjoy the great food in peace! An extremely big compliment to this restaurant!!! Always very happy!!!

In short: good food, friendly service, pleasant atmosphere and overall good location, but the toilets are dirty/broken. Recommendation: difficult, probably not.

Food so-so and too expensive. The service is grumpy and you are greeted with an annoyed "Yes, yes, yes". And when you complain about the unfriendly treatment, the barman comes running afterwards and wants to continue the discussion. Friendly is different! A pity. For me: never again!

Unhygienic (!) Unfortunately very disappointed and not recommended! :((( 1. the food was there and we still didn't get any cutlery and had to go to reception ourselves and get it. 2. the cutlery had a HAIR on it and the plates weren't clean either. 3. we got the wrong order, Sparkling water instead of still water, and didn't get any glasses and had to go back to reception and get it yourself. 4. the food was expensive and not fresh at all, overly salty and the summer roll had blonde curly HAIR in it again and the only answer was from the restaurant was: no one in the kitchen has blonde hair (??) and that's it. But that's not a solution...5. Aperol mixed incorrectly and the glass was maybe only 40% full...😑😑 Never again.

I really enjoyed eating there. However, the last few times I've been there, the service was neither good nor was the food tasty. My vegetables were 90% large carrot pieces and they were so salty that they were truly inedible. Also, when I ordered I asked for a children's portion - they said "no problem". I was still allowed to pay for the adult portion despite questions. No recommendation - I've always enjoyed being there.

Good morning. Unfortunately, the restaurant is visually outdated. A fresh change of scenery would be desirable. The competition in Eppendorf is fierce - and never sleeps... The food is tasty and good. There's always better. But price/performance is right.

Had a pho with beef for 12.50 (vegetable only, tofu or chicken also cost 12.50). It was tasty pho, but nothing special. My companion had beat noodles, she also liked it. I think Hanoi is a good choice for lunch and I would come back. The only reason I don't give it five stars is because this soup doesn't come close to my favorite. The service was nice and quick.

You should go to Hanoi Deli not just once, not twice, but several times. The food is a 5/5. I really enjoy eating salmon in curry with vegetables and rice. It is highly recommended. The service is really great and so is the location.

Unfortunately, price-performance doesn't match. Food very greasy and poor quality. You can also see this in the equipment, which is pretty rocky.

Single unfriendly. Wanted to eat my lunch, but couldn’t take a seat on sofa, because it’s reserved for groups! Even the table for two persons. Never again.

We visited this place for a quick and light lunch. I ordered the Bun Bo Nam Bo which is a typical viatnamese rice noodle dish (salad style) with fried beef stripes. My accompany decided to have Ga Chien Ca Ri Vang - crispy fried chicken breast served with a variety of veggies, light yellow curry-coconut sauce and rice from the special lunch menu. The taste of both dishes was very authentic and flavourful. Service was fast, helpful and friendly. At the time of our visit @ 1pm it was very quiet and not too many other customers present. The snowy weather might be a reason for that. The interior is bistro style and clean and cosy. There is no dedicated parking lot and finding a parking space around this busy living and business area is difficult. Coming by bus or subway (yellow line U3 to Eppendorfer Baum) is recommended. We'll back for more of this awesome taste.

Very nice and, above all, cheap restaurant with a great Vietnamese menu with excursions into Thai cuisine and Chinese. Tasty, very fresh and generous portions. Ambiance okay and nice, quick staff. Not quite as chic as at Rsthausplatz, but not overcrowded either.

Ich war gestern zum ersten Mal im Hanoi und es war wirklich sehr sehr lecker ! Die Getränke und das Essen kamen schnell und alle waren sehr freundlich. Lediglich das Restaurant empfand ich als nicht so gemütlich. Dennoch würde ich wiederkommen und kann es empfehlen. Die Preise waren auch völlig in Ordnung.

Leider hat die Fleischqualität die letzten Monate nachgelassen. Bitte Qualität&Preise erhöhen

Chef mega unfreundlich, Essen ok. Vertauschen gerne mal die Saußen, deshalb immer lieber checken. War das letzte mal da.

Mediocre, not super authentic but service is quick and reliable.

Ich habe hier vor ein paar Jahren häufiger eine Pho mit Rindfleisch gegessen, die Qualität und der Geschmack waren inmer gut. Heute war ich sehr enttäuscht: das Fleisch z T. knorpelig, statt feiner glatter Scheiben, die Nudeln noch hart, die Kräuter spärlich, die Suppe schmeckte ohne nachwürzen fade. Und das alles zum stolzen Preis von 12,50 €. Auch der Tisch sah lieblos aus, die Menage mit dem eingelegten Knoblauch war fast leer, meiner Bitte nach etwas Limone wurde mit einem winzigen Stückchen entsprochen. Obwohl nichts zu tun war, guckte niemand, ob ich mit dem Essen fertig war, so dass ich an der Bar bezahlen musste. Schade!

Zwar unfreundlich, aber da ich eh nur zum Mitnehmen bestelle und das Essen toll ist, kann ich das ignorieren

Das Essen ist frisch und lecker. Ich war aber sehr enttäuscht vom Service - jeder hat Mal einen schlechten Tag, aber das war nicht akzeptabel. Ich habe mich lange nicht so unwohl gefühlt. Angefangen von dem Empfang, zur Bestellung, zum Servieren, bis hin zum bezahlen... Super schade

Leckere vietnamesische Gerichte und freundliches Personal. Vor allem die Bun sind super. Ein Kritikpunkt sind aber die mangelnden vegetarischen Reisgerichte - unter diesem Punkt gab es (zumindest bei meinem Besuch) nur Fleischgerichte.

Sehr gutes essen, freundliche Bedienung, keine langen Wartezeiten. Fazit : empfehlenswert 😉

Mmmmmm! Top! Das Fleisch war zart, das Gemüse knackig und frisch.

Widerlich!!!!! Kurz nachdem meine bestelle Phó kam, entdeckte ich ein Stück eines Taschentuches darin, woraufhin ich den Kellner freundlich darauf aufmerksam machte. Dieser nahm die Suppe direkt mit in die Küche. Man verlangte von mir allen Ernstes, dass ich die Suppe bezahle und bat mir einen Rabatt von 1€ an. Ich hatte kaum etwas von der Suppe gegessen und sie wurde mir weggenommen nach dem Fund!!! Es wurde 10 min lang diskutiert und mir vorgeworfen, dass ich fast alles aufgegessen hatte und ich die Suppe zahlen muss. Dann wurde mir auch noch vorgeworfen, dass ich das Tuch selbst in die Suppe platziert hätte. Unverschämtheit!!! Ich habe am Ende nach laaaaanger Diskussion die Suppe nicht bezahlt, da es dafür keinen Grund gab!! Einfach unverschämt, widerlich und abartig!!!! Nieeee wieder in diesem Leben!!! Erspart es euch lieber!!!!!

Essen ok, aber nicht sehr besonders. Die Tom Kha Suppe mit Gemüse hatte dann gratis Hühnchen & Garnelen dabei - nicht so cool, wäre ich Vegetarier. Service sehr distanziert und wir haben uns eher als störend, als Willkommen empfunden.

Super lecker dort immer. Ich kann mit meiner Zöliakie fast alles bedenkenlos dort essen, das ist schon eine Erleichterung. Es schmeckt uns immer sehr gut dort, frische leckerer Zutaten. Essen kommt immer ziemlich schnell an den Tisch. Sehr nette Bedienungen. Einfach top !!

É apenas um restaurante prático por sua localização bem numa movimentada esquina de Eppendorf. Os preços subiram bastante, mais de 20%, o atendimento é robótico e frio, a comida é insossa - e já disse isso seis anos atrás, ou seja, nada melhorou ou mudou! Se estiver com fome e somente ele estiver aberto, tudo bem, mas há dezenas de outras opções bem melhores na vizinhança.

Das Essen war wirklich wirklich lecker! Ich durfte kein Kindergericht bestellen und auch eine halbe Portion war nicht möglich. Leider haben wir das falsche Essen bekommen, das dann ohne Entschuldigung und eher pampig gegen das bestellte ausgetauscht wurde. Der Service daher eher schwach. Hier würde ich höchstens noch einmal etwas zum Mitnehmen bestellen.

Köstliches Essen zu fairen Preisen. Hanoi Deli ist ein kleiner aber feiner Laden. Sowohl vor Ort, als auch beim Abholen – super leckeres, authentisches Essen!

Думал, что во всех заведениях Hanoi Deli меню одинаковое, но оказалось это не так. Меню полностью отличается от ресторана в центре города. Интерьер нормальный, обслуживание так же хорошее, заказанные блюда понравились не все.

Its a nice place to stop by and grab/eat some food. I wouldnt necessarily aim and plan to eat here, but its always a place to eat if nearby

Unfreundliche Bedingung, salzig und voller Glutamat. Meist seltsame Leute in der Küche. Es kochen hier keine Vietnamesen! Es sind günstige, schlecht gelaunte Arbeiter aus anderen Ländern. Das Essen schmeckt auch so.

Éramos tres adultos y un niño con carro. Tenía suficiente espacio para colocar el carrito y además tenía un menú para niños. Elegí Beef Park Choi y quedé muy satisfecho. Se mencionó picante en el menú, pero no fue suave para mí y no caliente. La otra comida era salmón a la parrilla, que también era bueno pero con menos especias. El restaurante estaba casi lleno y lleno de gente durante el tiempo que estuvimos sentados allí.
