“The service in the restaurant was friendly and fast, and I was impressed by the quality of the food. Unfortunately, I experienced a very unpleasant incident with the owner in which I was spoken to disrespectfully because of my background. She made a comment that I found racist, saying: 'Typical Turk'. Despite this disrespectful statement, I remained calm and tried to clarify the situation in a matter-of-fact manner. I didn't insult anyone, never raised my voice and didn't use bad words. On the contrary: I even addressed the owner with honorific words like 'big sister' - which she firmly rejected. I found this reaction alone to be unprofessional. From the beginning, the aggression came from the owner, who acted completely unprofessionally in the situation. Even though I might have been able to avoid certain misunderstandings, I expect a restaurant owner to take a much more professional approach to dealing with guests. Instead of getting an objective clarification, I was banned from the house. Then when I tried to talk to the owner's son, I was ignored again. The situation escalated further when I was threatened with violence and several employees approached me to further aggravate the situation. Despite all these provocations, I remained calm and consciously avoided escalating the situation further. I try to be as honest as possible in my review - and I would be lying if I said the food wasn't tasty. But after this incident, none of that has any value to me anymore. That’s why this restaurant only gets one star from me.”

An absolutely wonderful restaurant! Very cozy, modern and clean. I would particularly like to highlight the fantastic staff - that's what we get the highest marks for! I'm really glad I discovered this place and I'll be back whenever I get the chance. The breakfast is excellent. From now on my absolute favorite restaurant!

I was fine until I ate here and got severe food poisoning afterwards. Not only me but also my wife & it doesn't work that way! I once understood that the employees said "Hey, the food is partly spoiled" & the other employee then said with a laugh: I don't care. Disgusting pact.

This place used to be the best for Turkish breakfast in this area, however we’ve realised their quality has been declining. The only good thing on these plates were the fries. Everything else simply did not live up to expectations, some lacking a lot of salt, some simply stale. The atmosphere however is very nice so is the service :)

I'm very disappointed. Absolute rip-off. I ordered a starter, main course and dessert and had to pay over 50 euros for 1 person. And I didn't even get full from it. The main course was fried thin fillet max. 150 g, with a little Gorgonzola sauce. It shouldn't have cost more than €25. And I didn't see anything like a buffet like the one in the pictures here. The service was very nice, but I can't live with it.

Hello🤒 Me and a colleague happened to be there and had a terrible stomach ache after eating. Too expensive and the food isn't even done (meat)

Unfortunately I was quite disappointed Hanem Resti The prices are way too high for what you get. My portion was so small that I was still hungry afterwards - and for a hefty price. The taste was okay, but nothing special. Overall, the price-performance ratio is simply not right. I definitely won't go there again.

We went out to eat as a family. Among other things, we had Külbasti, steak, burgers, lamb chops, and a chicken skewer. *Food*: Max. 1 star, very small quantity. The price-performance ratio is not in proportion. Details: The meat at Külbasti was still raw; they slapped a "Hanem sauce" on it; the amount of meat was substandard. At first, we couldn't really taste the rawness because of the sauce. We couldn't finish the Külbasti. Steak? More expensive than at steakhouses, but less, smaller. Lamb chops were almost entirely made of fat. A family member suffered from diarrhea during the night. *Service*: Max. 1 star. It was quiet, so we had to call the waitress several times to get us properly looked after. Hello? If there's nothing going on, then I can expect more proactive follow-up. When I mentioned the raw meat, it was noted because we were also nice. When you're out as a family, you don't want to complain in front of everyone, but it was truly disappointing. Save your time and money. It was expensive and not much.

Hello! 1. I had dinner there. And I have to be honest: the meat wasn't cooked properly and there was far (far) too little meat, most of it was just fat. 2. Service: they were nice and that's why 3 stars but too slow 1 hour ;) Feedback on the very last one: Too expensive and then was broke 28 euros for that? Lamb chop which doesn't even fill you up. Recommend: So I would recommend Ned unless I like spending money unnecessarily Best regards.

Personally I didn't like the breakfast, the selection was okay but... Dishes were cold & not tasty. E.g. sucuk, sosis didn't taste good at all! We paid around €30 for two people and we didn't eat anything because we didn't like anything.

Too expensive and the portion is small

We had a late evening meal with a large group. It took a very long time, which wouldn't have been so bad if you hadn't ordered the food in advance and your daughter hadn't moaned at you so much. An impossible tone that doesn't work at all. And the son then threw the food at you. Eat or Nice. A no-go. It's a shame actually, a nice atmosphere with parking spaces. But we won't go there anymore. The regular staff was nice. Too bad. Then apologizing doesn't help anymore.

Hanem Restaurant offers an all-round first-class experience! The quality of the food was impressive - the steak, beef fillet, lamb chops and chicken were perfectly prepared and tasted at the highest level. The dessert was also absolutely top class: Künefe, Kazandibi and the pumpkin dessert were a real treat and rounded off the menu perfectly. The service also deserves top marks - friendly, attentive and professional, a solid 10 out of 10. As a guest from Cologne, I can say that it's definitely not the last time I've been here. A restaurant that I can fully recommend!

Mega service especially because we don't speak Turkish. My children say it was the best hamburger they have ever eaten and I am also absolutely thrilled with my grill plate.

It's always very crowded and very loud but otherwise very tasty😋 the earlier you come the better it is. I was having breakfast towards the end and there was only the rest and when I asked there was nothing new unfortunately and it became very expensive for 2 people 32 euros is already steep! But otherwise very tasty and varied.

It's always disappointing when we have breakfast with my family I clean the high chair myself even if the staff sees it. Sometimes we go for breakfast with my friends and we are told that we don't have a seat until lunch even though the tables are empty. We gave up and the staff said that we would have a seat after 20 minutes. The business owner is having breakfast at the next table and doesn't care at all. Although breakfast time was over, the reserved tables were empty.

We went there for breakfast and were pleasantly surprised by the atmosphere. The food and service were good and something different than what you are used to. In our opinion, the only thing missing was a larger selection of sweets and the dishes that should have been warm were unfortunately cold. Communication wasn't entirely easy. Otherwise we felt completely comfortable and will definitely come back for dinner again

We had a wonderful breakfast experience at the "Hanem Cafe" restaurant, which we went to as a family last weekend. Providing service with an open buffet breakfast concept, the restaurant stands out with its wide range of food and quality service. A large buffet consisting of hot and cold appetizers welcomed us. The salads prepared with different types of cheese, fresh vegetables and delicious sauces were impressive. Especially the cream and Nutella crepe varieties delighted our palates. Unlimited orange juice and tea service further increased the pleasure of breakfast. Among the main courses, pasta salad, potato salad and creamy vegetables were very delicious. Menemen was also prepared wonderfully. Even though there are minor shortcomings, it is definitely a place to be recommended for breakfast lovers. Letztes Wochenende hatten wir mit der Familie ein großartiges Frühstückserlebnis im Restaurant "Hanem Cafe". Das Restaurant, das ein offenes Buffet-Konzept anbietet, zeichnet sich durch eine breite Auswahl an Speisen und eine hochwertige Servicephilosophie aus. Zuallererst begrüßte uns ein Buffet mit einer Vielzahl an warmen und kalten Vorspeisen. Verschiedene Käsesorten, frisches Gemüse und köstlich zubereitete Salate mit Saucen waren ein echter Hingucker. Besonders die Crêpes mit Sahne und Nutella waren ein wahrer Gaumenschmaus. Die unbegrenzte Orangensaft- und Teeanbieten machte das Frühstückserlebnis noch angenehmer. Die Hauptgerichte wie Nudelsalat, Kartoffelsalat und Gemüse mit Sahne waren sehr lecker. Auch das Menemen war hervorragend zubereitet. Trotz kleinerer Mängel ist es definitiv ein empfehlenswerter Ort für Frühstücksliebhaber.

Breakfast buffet fantastic and above average attendance. Lunch (during the week) is a little quieter. Taste excellent.

Unfortunately the quality has decreased significantly. Not only did it become extremely more expensive, but it also no longer tastes good at all. 90% of the breakfast buffet is the leftovers from the day before and that's a shame because you can taste it. I used to go there often but today was the last time.

There is a good selection of salads and dips, pancakes with kaymak and Nutella, too. Orange juice and tea are also unlimited. Unfortunately, the selection of bread is not possible. There is often too little bread or tiny rolls that don't taste very good. And sometimes, when the fruit is there cut and peeled, I love it. But today it wasn't like that. Today there were only grapes and peaches, whole, instead of something like melon or watermelon. However, you can find something for every taste. Pasta salad, potato salad, creamed vegetables, eggs, menemen etc. Unfortunately, the Sosis in sauce doesn't taste good and it would be nice to have an alternative to it, something like Sucuk or Sosis without any sauce. €14.90 price for adults is okay. But paying €9 for children, i.e. 3-year-olds, if they only take two or three bites, that's not possible. That would have to be changed.

Can't complain, it's delicious and the service is great. I'll be back

Went there for the first time today. The breakfast buffet is very rich, clean and appealing. I would just recommend putting small signs on the counter so that you know what it is. The staff were friendly and accommodating. There is plenty of space and the ambience was very pleasant. You can also eat well there with children, we have found something for everyone. The price/performance ratio is unbeatable. We will be back definitely. Keep it up!

I would be served meat that was not okay at all. The smell and taste was just disgusting.

Berbat!!! Pathetic!!! Simply bad and unfriendly!!! A burger is delivered with missing ingredients but the full price is charged. When asked “why are you eating it” you cheekily replied!!! Nothing to recommend!!! Sorry not even worth 1 star!

I've been to Hanem several times now and have been very satisfied every time. I like the breakfast best because there is a very large selection and you can serve yourself unlimitedly. Whether warm, cold, salads or sweets, there is really something for everyone and for the price you definitely can't complain. During Ramadan we were there for the evening buffet and we left the restaurant just as happy as the previous times. Both the staff and the food were good. We have now seen on Instagram that an evening buffet is now also offered on Saturdays. We were really happy about that. A really high quality restaurant in Ludwigshafen and the surrounding area, which is really a rarity these days.

The first time we were here with friends was to break the fast in the month of Ramadan. Recently also at the breakfast buffet with wife and child. The buffet is plentiful, varied and always full. The service is very courteous and the prices are more than fair. There are more than enough parking spaces. We will definitely come by more often.

It's a place to go as a family, it's clean, quiet, tidy, a pleasant and delicious environment, away from the traffic and human noise and stress of the city. I have a different personal approach to meat and meat products, so I can't say you can eat them, but other than that, it's great...

We ordered Kazandibi for dessert and were extremely disappointed with what was brought to our table. That was everything but Kazandibi. You can probably speak of a thin piece of tavuk göğsü, which was extremely small for a price of €6.90 and was served on a large plate with raspberry sauce and a few pieces of pistachios. They also didn't stick to the promised delivery time of less than 20 minutes. Very unprofessional.

We love having breakfast at Hanem, especially during the week. The buffet offers a variety of Turkish dishes. There is unlimited Turkish black tea and orange juice. It is clean and very hygienic. Free parking is available. The staff, especially Neslihan, are very attentive and friendly. We always enjoy going there. There are high chairs for babies/toddlers.

We reserved online and couldn't get a table!! Not possible and very unfriendly!

Sehr lecker und Preise fair. Waren sonntags beim Frühstücksbuffet für 13,90 Euro pro Person. Türkischen Tee gab es kostenlos. Wenn sucuk also Knoblauchwurst auch ohne Soße serviert worden wäre wäre es perfekt gewesen... Vielleicht in Zukunft. Aber freuen uns auch so aufs nächste Mal:-)

Positiv war für mich: der Service, die vorhandenen Parkplätze und die Aussicht wenn man draußen sitzt. Nicht gefallen hat mir: der Eistee war mindestens haltbar bis 06/2023, der Salat war lieblos angerichtet, es gab leider kein leckeres Fladenbrot, obwohl es eine top Bäckerei vor Ort gibt, Speisen meiner Meinung nach zu teuer für das, was auf dem Teller ist. Da gibt es bessere türkische Grills. Ich werde das Café nicht mehr besuchen.

Frühstück ist top, das negative daran ist das für Kinder welche unter 4 Jahren sind dennoch eine Gebühr verlangt wird d.h. Ich zahlte für meine 3 Kinder jeweils die hälfte der Frühstücksgebühr also 3 x 6,99 € Plus natürlich die 12,99 pro Person. Danke dafür aber das geht garnicht. Meine Kinder sind 1 Jahr, 2 Jahre und 3 Jahre alt.

Salat mit Hähnchen und Champignons nicht zu empfehlen,hatte weder ne Soße noch Geschmack. Die Linsensuppe war nicht frisch, wahrscheinlich vom vorherigen Tag oder davor kein plan,man hat es abgeschmeckt. Service war total nett und top aber nie wieder werde ich diesen Ort besuchen. 👎

Leckeres türkisches Essen 😋 Im Sommer kann man schön auf der Terrasse sitzen und dem bunten Rein und Raus des darunterliegenden türkischen Dogan-Supermarktes zuschauen, während man auf das Essen wartet. Danach haben wir uns daraufhin bei Dogan mit superleckerem Obst und Gemüse eingedeckt. Die besten Nektarinen, die wir je gegessen haben 🍑🥰

Kein guter Aussicht aber dafür schöne Ambiente. Möglichkeiten draußen zu sitzen. Gutes Frühstück mit offene Buffet. Essen könnte besser sein.

Schönes gemütliches Restaurant, wenn man Hunger hat, dauert es lange bis man bedient wird. Aber dafür sind die Bedienungen sehr freundlich. Preis Leistung stimmt auch.

Ich esse hin und wieder mal hier, das Essen ist in Ordnung, da ist meiner Meinung aber noch Luft nach oben. Ein Vorteil ist auf jeden Fall, die gute Parkmöglichkeit. Hygienetechnisch war alles top!

Durch Zufall heute dort gewesen. Noch das Frühstücksbüffet erwischt. Was soll ich sagen…. 1000 leckere Gerichte und Zutaten zum selbst zusammenstellen. Extrem freundliche Bedienung Melissa echt zu loben. Freundlicher zugewandter Chef. Konnten draußen sitzen herrlich mit Wind um die Nase und Platz genug. Jederzeit wieder.

Essen ok, Portionen zu klein für den Preis.

Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis passt. Bei den heutigen Preisen finde ich diese mehr als fair, zumal ich für gutes Essen auch gerne mal mehr zahlen würde. Auch wenn es im ersten Moment nicht den Eindruck macht, wird man von den Portionen satt. Ambiente und Bedienung hat uns auch gefallen. Ich lasse einen Daumen nach oben da!

Ich hatte heute erneut ( schon das 4. mal) das Vergnügen, Hanem zu besuchen und kann nur schwärmen! Von Anfang bis Ende war es ein absoluter Genuss für alle Sinne. Das Ambiente des Restaurants ist einfach zauberhaft. Die stilvolle Einrichtung und die angenehme Beleuchtung schaffen eine gemütliche Atmosphäre, in der man sich sofort wohl fühlt. Der Service war herausragend. Das Personal war äußerst freundlich, aufmerksam und zuvorkommend. Man fühlte sich wirklich als Gast willkommen und wurde jederzeit bestens umsorgt. Die Kellner hatten stets ein Lächeln auf den Lippen und waren jederzeit bereit, uns bei Fragen oder Wünschen behilflich zu sein. Nun zum Highlight des Abends: das Essen! Die Speisekarte bietet eine vielfältige Auswahl an Gerichten, die alle mit frischen und hochwertigen Zutaten zubereitet werden. Ich entschied mich diesmal für das Cökertme Kebab mit leckerem Rinderfilet und dünnen Pommes oben drauf, und war schlichtweg begeistert. Das Filet war perfekt gegrillt, zart und saftig. Die Kruste der Pommes verlieh dem Gericht eine angenehme Knusprigkeit und die Joghurt-Tomatensoße rundete den Geschmack wunderbar ab. Dazu wurde mir ein köstlicher Beilagensalat serviert, die perfekt mit dem Hauptgericht harmonierte. Auch die Dessertauswahl ließ keine Wünsche offen. Ich entschied mich für den hausgemachten Künefe und wurde nicht enttäuscht. Das Künefe war unglaublich knusprig und innen super zart, das Käse ließ sich förmlich bis zur Decke ziehen, ein wahrer Gaumenschmaus! Zusammenfassend kann ich das Restaurant Hanem uneingeschränkt empfehlen. Hier erwartet einen ein kulinarisches Erlebnis der Extraklasse, begleitet von einem erstklassigen Service und einer angenehmen Atmosphäre. Immer wieder erste Auswahl in der Region!

Sehr schönes Lokal. Ich war jetzt schon öfters dort und sowohl Frühstück, als auch das Abendessen war bis jetzt immer top. Das Ambiente ist auch sehr angenehm, sodass Hanem zum Essen immer meine erste Wahl ist. Ich würde es jedem empfehlen, definitiv einen Besuch wert!
