Hacienda Rodizio in Lübeck

I'd especially like to highlight the excellent service. My needs were addressed immediately, without batting an eyelid. Absolutely fantastic. And the food was authentic, too. 👍

During my visit, I mentioned right at the beginning that I don't eat pork. Nevertheless, the waiter DELIBERATELY passed the pork skewer over my plate to the person sitting opposite me and cut it in such a way that pieces of meat landed on my plate. If something like that had happened accidentally, I would have completely understood, but such disrespectful behavior was completely unacceptable. This behavior was not only unprofessional, but also very disrespectful and discriminatory. I felt extremely uncomfortable and therefore cannot recommend this restaurant at all. In addition, the waiters were more concerned with sipping drinks at the other table during their working hours than focusing on serving. The service was equally poor and very slow.

If you like meat, this is the place for you. I've been here several times and it's always been delicious. This time, the side dishes were a bit slow, perhaps because it was outside by the lake.

A very nice restaurant. It's a bit on the expensive side, but absolutely worth it for what you get. Very tasty food, requests are catered for, and the waiters are friendly. If you want absolutely delicious food for €5-10 more than at other restaurants, this is the place for you. There were 12 of us, and everyone had something different, and everyone loved it, which should speak volumes about the quality of the menu and the dishes :)

The rodizio was very extensive and delicious. For over an hour and a half, there were constantly new vegetables and excellently grilled meats, and you could also choose your favorites from the salad buffet. Since everything comes one after the other, you sometimes have vegetables, sometimes meat, sometimes everything at once. It's a meal you should take your time with, and it's better if everyone takes the rodizio, as everyone else has to wait until the end. Speaking of the end - at the end, there was delicious grilled pineapple with cinnamon and grilled banana - it would have been even more perfect with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. Conclusion: definitely give it a try.

We chose this restaurant during our Lübeck vacation because of its great location right on the water. The food was delicious. We'll try the rodizio on our next visit.

Everything here is absolutely perfect! Friendly staff, meat is cut at your table, and cooked to perfection, just as ordered! The side dishes are also excellent. The location is truly fantastic, right on the Wakenitz River, and the interior is beautifully decorated! Definitely worth the price!

The staff were friendly and competent, until the man came with the bill. From his overly familiar attitude, I felt like I was buying illegal substances from a tough guy in the park. A bit more elegance would be appreciated. Maybe you would have gotten a tip.

In the late afternoon, the wait staff is more concerned with themselves. When ordering finger foot, a bowl of water with lemon to clean your fingers is a given. There, it wasn't, even when asked. The carpaccio was plastered with balsamic vinegar. What a waste of such good meat!!!

Stevig gekruide steaks met een krachtige saus, dat is wat je krijgt in haciënda. Samen met een lekker biertje heb je een lekkere maaltijd. Jammer van de abominabele stoelen. Het mooie uitzicht over het meer kan dat niet goed maken. Slecht zitcomfort met rugpijn als gevolg.

I've never had such a bad rodizio. I've been to rodizio a few times, and I definitely don't know it like that! The meat was warmed up dry, had already been on the grill for 100 revolutions, it was the worst crap, and the side dishes were just as bad, all unseasoned and muddy. Everything was completely unloved. Even the fries weren't even cooked through. The service was nice. The ambiance, okay, it's getting on in years, but a renovation would be good, wouldn't it? The wall at our table was completely dirty, covered in food scraps, which was, of course, very appetizing. There's a high table in front of the restaurant; the glass top is missing, it's lying in the corner, and the table is full of trash, but nobody cares. Unfortunately, this visit was a total flop! Once and never again.

I went to eat rodizio again yesterday, and it was simply fantastic! The meat was, as always, delicious, juicy, well-seasoned, and perfectly prepared. Refills were regularly served straight from the spit, so you could enjoy it in peace. The side dishes were also fresh and perfectly complemented. The atmosphere was relaxed, and the staff, as usual, were friendly and attentive. You just feel well looked after and welcome there. I honestly don't understand why some of the reviews are bad; I've only had good experiences so far and would definitely come back.

The food tasted good but unfortunately there wasn't much of a selection at Rodizio. They only came for one round and then we had to wait a long time until the waiter came back and asked which meat we wanted again. Drinks very small. In addition, I choked and fainted for a moment, thank God other guests came straight away and helped me. The staff didn't even ask if everything was OK. I didn't expect anything from them but when paying they could have asked if I was feeling better. It was really very empty and they would have had more than one opportunity. I wouldn't go there again, it has nothing to do with Bratilian Barbeque..

My husband and I were there for lunch today. The food was delicious and the service was extremely friendly and accommodating. A restaurant that you can definitely recommend and would be happy to visit again.

If you're craving meat again, you've come to the right place. However, I recommend individual dishes and not the all-you-can-eat skewer. That's too much for me.

I had been a guest many times. I'm really disappointed at how bad our last visit was. We were there on a Wednesday evening, There wasn't much going on. Two of us had ala carte and two had the rodizio. The ala cart dishes were brought 5 minutes before the start of the rodizio. It's great if two people have to wait when you meet at the regulars' table and want to eat together. The ala cart dishes were covered with ready-made sauces, absolutely a taste accident. The meat was also great at the rodizio. The service was really bad. Hardly any side dishes were served and we had to order the rösti twice because the waiter was at every table except ours. In addition, the side dishes were served once. We were in Hamburg in December for the rodizio at the harbor and it felt like every 5 minutes someone came with a side dish and several times. Mushrooms, for example, weren't there at all. So the price performance level is no longer given for 40€ I expect more.

Since we know Rondizio in Jesteburg, we actually expected something different for this proud prize. We were there at 4 p.m. on a Sunday and had to wait almost an hour for the Rondizio. Unfortunately not recommended at NON-peak times.

Parts - e.g. the barbecue sauce - were very clearly salted 😏 The service was good.

Nice restaurant with somewhat outdated furniture. The service and the food are impressive. You have to try the Rodizio once. For just under €40 you get your fill of meat and also have nice side dishes and an all-you-can salad buffet. The quality was mostly good to OK.

Unfortunately, rather mixed. Anyone who knows Rodizio in Hamburg knows how it should be. I wasn't happy with the skewers every minute. You couldn't enjoy the meat because it kept coming. I can also eat chicken thighs at home. I don't expect that given the price. There was no second run!! Dessert pineapple with cinnamon and baked banana was supposed to be included but was fully deducted. Proud price of 103 €, 3 cola and 2x Rodizo. Conclusion: Better go to Hamburg

We had dinner here. The service was fine. The food was absolutely brilliant. Both the steak and the rodizio. A specialty that you have to eat. Splendid! The cocktails at the end were beautifully prepared and tasted very good too!

The staff was hopelessly overwhelmed, it drafted terribly because the door to the hotel was open. Food came eventually, drinks didn't. As compensation there was a bottle of wine...

The pepper steak was very good. Tender, buttery and cooked to perfection. The Hungarian goulash soup was definitely too Italian for me and would certainly have made a useful minestrone. It had little to do with goulash soup, I can cook you one.

I overlooked this restaurant for a long time, it seems a bit inconspicuous and hidden. But I was pleasantly surprised. Inside there is a pleasant and almost family atmosphere. The facility is very clean and welcoming, there is a bar and a salad bar. At the latter you can put together a very tasty and crunchy salad with several sauces to go with the steaks. The quality was absolutely convincing. My turkey steak was very juicy and seasoned perfectly. There were also delicious sauces and a baked potato and toasted bread. I have never eaten so well in Lübeck and have only seen empty plates and happy faces. This restaurant is simply great. A tip for eating together at Christmas!

We recently visited Hacienda for the first time on the recommendation of friends. First of all, the service was great, very nice and quick. Unfortunately, the food wasn't our thing at all. We just didn't think it was good, especially for the price. The quality of the meat skewers varied greatly. The beef fillet that came right at the start was great - the rest was mixed. As someone else already wrote, some of the meat fell onto the plate from a height of 30 cm - the "blood" splashed onto the table (luckily not onto our clothes). The side dishes were okay (black beans, rice, potato rosti, fries, beans, mushrooms and peppers), some of them were just a bit bland - for the price it could have been a little nicer and more thoughtful. The second dish from the menu was the venison goulash and it was quite disappointing - again - especially for the price of just under €25. There were 5 or 6 pieces of meat in a kind of chunky pepper and tomato sauce, with spaetzle and red cabbage. The red cabbage was the highlight, super tasty and nice and cinnamony. The deer, on the other hand, was sinewy, dry, one piece consisted almost entirely of fat (which I don't know from deer meat) and one tasted and smelled extremely like lamb. So only a few pieces of deer goulash meat actually ended up in our stomachs. Despite the nice service, we can't give it more than 2 stars because the price-performance ratio just wasn't right.

Very child friendly and the food was great

Everything is great. Really great service. Employees always attentive. Everyone is well dressed. Food was great! Everything prepared fresh and delicious. You can taste that everything was prepared by yourself. Even the potato wedges tasted homemade. Meat first class! I haven't eaten so well in a long time!

We were hoping for more! Had reserved a table and when we arrived there was no table reserved 🤷🏻‍♀️ Luckily there wasn't much going on and we were still able to sit down. However, the place (right next to the bar) was very dirty/dusty! And the food? Well, it would be better if the chef knew what well-done means...! However, the ambience is very nice.

This was our first time at Hacienda Rodizio. Pre-booking space worked great. I can only recommend the service and the food, it was really great. The visit is not that cheap, but it is worth it. We will eat there again.

We were there in the evening with a large group. The food is overall tasty, but…and here it comes. For us it started 45 minutes after ordering... before that the salad buffet was available... but that's not worth mentioning! The food is then cut at the table and dropped onto the plate from about 30 cm. Here you have to be careful with your clothes. Replenishment was very slow...we had to wait another 30 minutes for the second round. Side dishes didn't come at all. Overall rather disappointing and way too expensive for the price!!!

The food was very good. What wasn't so good were all the flies at the salad bar, the stains on the wall and the service. The service was very friendly and when it was with us it was quick, but it was rarely with us even though there wasn't much going on. But I would still come back because the food is worth it.

We made a reservation at relatively short notice for lunchtime on a Sunday. And were pleasantly surprised. Great atmosphere, very friendly staff. Large selection of food. The salad buffet was fresh and the selection was good. 3 different dressings, many different oils and different types of balsamic vinegar. We were served very quickly after we were seated. The selection of food is great. There is something for everyone. You can change the side dishes. We had the Chika pan, the skirt steak and the Bonita pan and were all super happy with the food. The steak was on point and tender, just like the poultry. I can really only recommend it!👍🏼

RODIZIO super tasty, great ambience

The two of us arrived there by chance shortly before 6 p.m. because we were just walking along the crow pond and the terrace is right on the path. It wasn't crowded and looked super inviting. We ordered the salmon steak with baked potatoes and baguette bread and the "Safti" ground beef steak with mushrooms, onions, fried potatoes and baguette bread. There was also water and a Cola Zero. We were able to help ourselves at the salad bar beforehand. To do this we had to go up a few steps to the restaurant, but that's completely OK. The salad bar has a lot to offer and has a good share of the 5 stars for the food. The service was friendly and quick, thank you!

Unfortunately it was a mixed experience. We were recently there as part of a bachelor party. The reservation went very well and we had a nice place on the terrace. Unfortunately, the Rodizio itself was mixed. The meat skewers came at very long intervals and the taste ranged from very tasty to moderately edible. The prawns (€10 extra charge) only came once and unfortunately some didn't have them at all. However, they were not charged when the payment was made. Unfortunately we had to forgo the final round because it didn't come after a long time. I can't comment on the dessert either.
