Very tasty Mexican food, friendly service. The kitchen is open late and also accommodates special requests.

Despite spontaneously booking with a large group, we received a very friendly welcome and were served quickly. The food was excellent and the cocktails were delicious

Very friendly and courteous service as well as a very tasty meal that was prepared quickly. There are also a few vegetarian and I think vegan dishes for customers who don't want to eat meat. The ambience is pleasant, not overly decorated but not boring either.

It's very tasty here. I can only recommend it.

2017: Great Mexican, great atmosphere. Has tons of tequila in the range, top advice and incredibly good food. 2024: We ended up in Darmstadt again and wanted to go to the Hacienda again. Because it was so delicious back then and we just wanted to know if it was still the same. It's actually still as tasty, the service is still great :) we will come again

I went to Germany over 10 years ago and just thought of this quaint little restaurant. I was just a kid but I still remember it like it was yesterday. This place was so good and I loved it so dearly. Thanks for all the fond memories! I hope this restaurant is still thriving - you all deserve it!

My fiancée and I recently moved to Darmstadt and invited my parents to dinner. We found the Hacienda online thanks to the very good reviews and our expectations of the restaurant were completely exceeded during our visit. The Hacienda impresses with an authentic and lovingly designed atmosphere. The staff are very attentive, polite and courteous and provided excellent service. The Mexican food was also very authentically prepared and tasted simply delicious. And all of this was offered to us at an excellent price-performance ratio. We are therefore looking forward to visiting the Hacienda again soon!

A lovingly designed terrace / beer garden to sit outside, you can surprisingly hear the streets little. The food (taco and enchilada in gluten free, burrito) was super tasty. Everything was rounded off by very friendly staff and top service.

Really very tasty food. The service was a bit overwhelmed and didn't know what food to bring to the table. Five of us were there to celebrate my birthday. Unfortunately we had to wait more than an hour for our food and sometimes ordered drinks twice. The boss was very nice and gave us a very tasty tequilla. All in all, we would still like to come back because it was simply delicious.

My first visit to the Hacienda was a while ago and back then it was still in the basement not far from where it is today. We recently visited here without a reservation and were warmly greeted and served. The food was delicious and the prices were reasonable for today's times. Small soft drinks at lower prices would be another item that was missing from the menu. For me one of the best Mexican restaurants in the Rhine-Main area.

I've been going to this restaurant for years and I absolutely love their dishes. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone who is visiting Darmstadt. The Sangrias are simply amazing.

Very well attended by the manager and his team, the food was tasty and abundant, many diners (It speaks well of its fame). You live, you feel the memory of home. We were very pleased.

The Hacienda Mexican Restaurant is located directly on a street and invites its guests to spend a few hours in the garden when the weather is good. Here, surrounded by trees, enjoy an extensive meal with an aperitif, starter and main course. If you want it a little spicier, feel free to order a few jalapenos and hot sauce. The starter and main course are tasty and rich, cheese is often included along with an excellent minced meat sauce that you should try. Don't be afraid to fly the flag, the attentive staff will immediately take care of your needs. Overall, a positive culinary experience.

One of the best Mexicans I know. Even in the garden it is beautiful, even though there is a main road running past. Nice personel. We keep coming back.

We loved the food at hacienda. It was very tasty. Also the waiters were very nice. We wanted to speak English because we are Dutch, which was a little bit difficult for some waiters. But they made it work because one of them did speak very good English:) the music was a bit loud, so keep that in mind but I can definitely recommend this food and place!

The food was really delicious! We were well served by the extremely friendly staff! We sat in the shady outdoor area. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit!

People are very friendly, but food is mediocre at best. Price is definitely too high for the quality. We had the mixed fajitas and La Hacienda combo platter. Taste was lacking and tortillas also didn't seem fresh. Athough food made us full we were left unsatisfied. Margaritas were good though.

Starter plate 267, Endchilada and Chimicanga are highly recommended. The salsa, sweet chili dip, guacamole and cheese sauce as well. The service was quick & very accommodating. Any time.

We hadn't made a reservation, but we were greeted very friendly and were given space. Everything was explained to us calmly and the order came quickly and at such a time interval that we were able to take a breather in between. We had to travel a little further to have Mexican food at the Hacienda. The rather inconspicuous restaurant on the corner turned out to be an interesting place. The decor is pleasant and the staff is really attentive and friendly. The menu offers a wide selection of different Mexican dishes. Overall, I can recommend the restaurant with a clear conscience. As described, the parking situation is rather difficult, but if you accept a few meters it works.

Had Mexican food on Friday May 24th after a long time. There was a vegetarian burrito and El Patron plus extra fries. That was a mistake. The portion of El Patron was huge and very tasty. The service was attentive and not intrusive and very quick. Gladly again

We really liked it here, especially the service was exceptionally good and attentive. But the food was also delicious and the waiting time was very short, great! We were there early in the evening on a Sunday and were lucky to get a table without a reservation. We will come back in any case.

We had been to the Hacienda for ages and were thrilled: Very courteous service with friendly waitresses who gave us great advice on the large selection of food and drinks! We ordered, among other things, chicken wings, nachos, fajita and a mixed plate of "Hacienda" and found everything very good: the portions are generous, but not too big, everything is nicely prepared. Fantastically seasoned but not spicy, that's how we imagined it. The additional sauces from the last page of the menu are highly recommended, so everyone can sharpen up their favorites if they want. We had children with us who thought the pieces of meat in the fajitas were too big - but Dad's knife could sort that out... Very fair prices, we can get along well with that and will definitely come back. Then we hope that the weather is better and you can sit in the beautiful outdoor area!

My partner and I came here for dinner without a reservation and the staff was incredibly nice and accommodating, offering us a seat immediately. The outside area is private and beautiful. We both were so impressed with the food! Delicious, highly recommend!

Arrivés sans réservation, nous avons néanmoins obtenu tout de suite une table près de l'entrée, mais nous avons dû ensuite attendre 45 min, après avoir passé commande, pour voir les plats arriver. Le serveur, très gentil, avait bien identifié le problème et nous avons eu droit, au bout de 40 min, à un bol de chips tortillas avec leur sauce pour patienter — sympa mais tardif. Côté nourriture, grosse déception avec les platos combinados, dont nous espérions qu'ils nous permettraient d'avoir un aperçu large de la cuisine maison. En fait, cela ressemblait à du réchauffé et la nourriture était entassée et noyée sous le fromage rapé (non fondu !), comme s'il fallait la masquer. J'ai personnellement été malade la nuit suivante… A oublier !

Good food, waiters professional and friendly. A bit more on the pricey side, compared to nearby restaurants. But still worth it. Crowded on Saturday evenings, otherwise you do not need to reserve a table in advance.

Very great family-run Mexican restaurant! We were greeted and served very nicely. Here you will receive personal advice and if you have any questions you will receive a detailed, professional answer. I chose a very delicious homemade Aperol Sprizz with pomegranate seeds, a starter (nacho with guacamole dip) vegetarian burritos and a chocolate cake with a soft center + vanilla ice cream. Everything arrived very quickly, service was consistently friendly and courteous. Since we had chosen the restaurant spontaneously, we were very happy that everything worked out so well. I've eaten here again for a long time. I had the meat and cheese nachos and a beef borito. My wife had the corn on the cob and fajitas with vegetables. It was excellent. For us there should be less coriander in the dishes, but that's a matter of taste. We'd love to come back.

we chose this place because of the good ratings (and because it was in close proximity to our hotel) - went for a birthday meal with 6 adults and 2 kids. It was great! Super authentic Mexican - more authentic actually than some places I've been to close to the actual Mexican border. The service was attentive and (mostly) friendly. The food was great. The drinks were tasty and the owner took us on a trip d'horizon on tequila and mescal. What a friendly chap! Not sure we'll be going back anytime soon - as it would be a 6 hour round-trip - but come to think of it, that might be worth it..

We had a voucher from BON BON and were able to redeem it at this Mexican restaurant. We came as a couple without a reservation, which wasn't a problem at all. We stood at the entrance as we were told and were greeted in a very friendly manner within a few moments. The restaurant was well attended and there was discreet Spanish music playing in the background. The ambience immediately gave us the feeling of sitting in Mexico. The menu offers a variety of delicacies. As you can see in the picture (unfortunately not very sharp because I copied it from a video) I had wings and the spare rips. My wife had a choice of boritos and a taco. There were also side dishes and sauces. All in all we ate and drank very well. The desert can also be shown! We were impressed by the idea of ​​how guests could make themselves attentive to the service. The man has a small flag that is hoisted at the square. Really a brilliant idea. The service also deserves praise. Very friendly and smiling staff with appropriate distance and empathy! Bravo... We can only warmly recommend this restaurant! We enjoyed our visit to La Hacienda restaurant. The waiter was great, kind and helpful. We liked the decoration and the Mexican vibe. The food was good but not great, I just did not like the cheese that is used at all. After a few minutes the cheese of the nachos got hard, so I do not think it is the right one to be used. From all the things we tried the one that I enjoyed the most was the hard shell taco. We ordered the Helado Fritado as a dessert, not special at all, actually, I did not enjoy it at all. We are not sure if will go back since the prices are quite high for what we got.

Wir sind hier hin da die Bewertungen so gut waren und wurden riesig enttäuscht Essen war fad absulut nicht zu empfehlen wir hatten die Nachos Teigoblade mit Hackfleich 3 wahl mit knorpel drin und gemichten teller Nacos mit Burita auch nur teig mit Hackfleich und 3 chalapenios drauf okay der Nschtisch war ganz gut aber wir gehen hier devinitiev nicht mehr hin da gibt es bessere in Darmstadt

We arrived around dinner time and without a reservation. The super friendly staff was able to seat us at a table. We were two adults and two children and we all had a fantastic meal! It's a shame we didn't have more time ourselves, because we would have liked to taste more of the extensive menu.
