Best Mexican restaurant! Authentic cuisine, friendly staff, we've been here many times and always love coming back! The wings are a must-try!

Great food! Tasty stuff and nice atmosphere. Great options but especially if you like cheese on your food. Try the the Tacitos Mixtos. A dream! The flags on the table are a really great idea. If you need waiter, just raise it. This way you don't need to lookout nad wave for someone to come. Update: They even switched their noisy smoothie maker. Thanks for listening to feedback!

Hacienda is simply amazing! The burritos were incredibly delicious – perfectly seasoned, nice and juicy, and with a fantastic sauce. The side dishes were also fresh and plentiful; you'll definitely leave completely full. The service was friendly and fast, even though the restaurant was packed. We hadn't even made a reservation and were shown to a table immediately. However, I would recommend making a reservation beforehand, especially for larger groups. Definitely one of the best Mexican restaurants in the area; we'll definitely be back! 🌮🌯

Very friendly service staff. But that's about it. The burrito definitely needs more practice. The nachos were tasteless. The cheese sticks were made with incredibly hard cheese. We won't be back, thank you.

I don't understand how this place can have such good ratings. The prices are ridiculously expensive: €14 for cocktails, no dessert under €10, etc. And the food isn't particularly good either. Definitely not a second visit.

The food really wasn't anything special. The quesedilla appetizer was also a ridiculous portion for the price (and taste). Unfortunately, I can't recommend this place.

Menu card was quite impressive design with wooden boards. Taste is really good for what we ordered and nice ambience also but I would say it’s not fair enough to make such billing for customers. We asking small chips of extra some quantities for baby for that also they charged 4,5€ something ok fine nothing is free for kids also even 2 r 3 quantity of chips I understood. But what ever we ordered main dish we asked for spicy for that they bought some extra sauces which we didn’t requested but for that also they charged some 4.5€ which is quite stupid I would say. If you can’t make spicy need to tel customer we can’t make spicy but we give extra sauce which is extra cost. Better not cheat customers like this next time. It reduces your rating because you had a nice food taste. I can leave it without notice but it’s not fair for customer. Don’t cheat anyone’s more. Of course I felt food is expensive

The food is okay. We've been to better Mexican restaurants. The service is very friendly and helpful. The location between two main roads isn't that great. We keep coming back because of the exhaust fumes from the beer garden.

Delicious authentic Mexican food, a wide selection, excellent service, and a pleasant atmosphere. We've eaten here several times and will definitely return the next time we're in the area! Also nice: there's a baby changing station not only in the ladies' restroom but also in the men's.

Only partially... One positive thing was that we didn't have to pay for a meal. We were at Hacienda on July 12th with five people (the bill was €150). We were very disappointed with the food. Since I have Mexican colleagues at work, I know what authentic Mexican food tastes like. My son said the cheese in his food had a strange aftertaste (I didn't try the cheese myself, though). As for my meal and my husband's meal, it lacks a kick... My second son said the same. The ground beef and cheese filling was only seasoned with salt and pepper... The guacamole lacked sour cream... Mexican cuisine thrives on spices and a certain heat, which was absolutely not present here. I spoke to the waitress about it, and she said they could have added spices and cilantro to the filling. Die Bedienung meinte das nicht jeder Koriander vertägt... seltsamerweise war aber Koriander in anderen Gerichten. I'm afraid that my feedback has unfortunately not arrived ... Es ist wirklich schade denn das Restaurant und der Service sind sehr gut... Unfortunately, this uses nothing if the food leaves something to be desired ...

Good Mexican restaurant with good value for money and friendly, attentive service

Very friendly and courteous service as well as a very tasty meal that was prepared quickly. There are also a few vegetarian and I think vegan dishes for customers who don't want to eat meat. The ambience is pleasant, not overly decorated but not boring either.

Yesterday, May 23, 2025, I was there with friends. The service was friendly and quick as always. The menu has obviously been reduced, which is fine. Unfortunately, some drinks aren't listed on the menu, such as coffee and schnapps. The drinks are massively overpriced, which makes me feel like I've been ripped off. My conclusion is that I'll avoid the place in the future.

I've rarely experienced such an attentive waiter and such brilliant service staff! The food was truly excellent! Gluten-free options worked without a hitch! The decor could be improved a tiny bit, but with such good food, I don't really care.

The food was okay, the nachos are great, unfortunately the quality of the meat wasn't great for the main course. I thought the concept with the flag (see picture) was great, so you can choose in peace and you're not constantly asked if you want to order.

I haven't been here in a long time, but it's as good as ever. The burrito may be a little smaller than before and the drink prices are at the limit for my personal taste (Cola 0.4 l 4.60 euros or so, a beer over 5, why? The bottle costs almost nothing to buy, so please add it to the meal), but from the welcome to the very nice service, pretty decoration, the beautifully presented food and the delicious taste, it was right for me. The homemade iced tea with fresh fruit was also delicious. The price is OK too, so you can't complain. There is only one point deducted for the ambience because it is unfortunately always quite loud. Important: make a reservation at least on Fridays!

Best margarita ever! Burrito, nachos and fajita was also very tasty. Prices are average. Highly recommended. Even if you dont have a reservation, you can just go and try your chance like we did.

Ordered on Uber eats. The burrito had a lot of broccoli carrot and cauliflower. Barely any beans or other typical burrito ingredients. The guacamole was unfortunately badly mixed- sometimes very very spicy, sometimes salty and sometimes completely bland. Could just be a bad day because the other comments seem good but I was confused by the recipe of the burrito.

I would say simple Tex-Mex in an outdated restaurant. Relatively cheap and the taste is okay, i.e. the price/performance ratio is somehow right. We tested the menu with friends and found the enchiladas the best.

A really, really good Mexican restaurant where the guest is treated like royalty and is served excellent food such as nachos, burritos or tacos. Be sure to reserve in advance.

The service was quick and friendly. Unfortunately, the food didn't convince us. The quality was okay, but they chose some strange recipes. So my vegetarian burrito only consisted of large pieces of cauliflower, chickpeas and cheese. Ingredients that aren't exactly what I would expect in a burrito. The burrito was presented next to an equally large mountain of lettuce, without any form of oil or salad dressing. Unfortunately I didn't like it. The waiter recommended homemade tiramisu for dessert. That also surprised us a bit, since we actually wanted to eat Mexican. However, there were alternatives. The cocktails we had were tasty, if a bit weak. The ambience of Hacienda is friendly, but a bit old. All in all, we were unfortunately not impressed by the visit. Fortunately, there are enough alternatives in Darmstadt.

2017: Great Mexican, great atmosphere. Has tons of tequila in the range, top advice and incredibly good food. 2024: We ended up in Darmstadt again and wanted to go to the Hacienda again. Because it was so delicious back then and we just wanted to know if it was still the same. It's actually still as tasty, the service is still great :) we will come again

I went to Germany over 10 years ago and just thought of this quaint little restaurant. I was just a kid but I still remember it like it was yesterday. This place was so good and I loved it so dearly. Thanks for all the fond memories! I hope this restaurant is still thriving - you all deserve it!
