Gyros King original griechischer Grill-Imbiss in Oldenburg (Oldb)

We have to say the food was great. We had 3 x Lindo plates. The meat was beautifully tender and juicy. The tzatziki was nice and creamy. The fries are lightly seasoned and nicely seasoned on the outside, and deliciously potato-y on the inside. Our son got a can of Coke for free which he was really surprised about. Dad staff was super friendly. Another visit will follow.

Unfortunately, the portion of champions is RIDICULOUS. When I asked on the phone they said that was normal... I found the price very outrageous at €4.50. The rest of the food tasted good.

We just ordered via Ubereats and what can I say... From the outside you have no idea how incredibly delicious the food is. We had a grill plate for 2 40 euros is a lot at first. But you also get a hell of a lot! We'll have dinner again tomorrow. Everything was super fresh, super tasty, perfectly grilled and seasoned. I'm thrilled!! We will definitely order again!!

After my text was deleted at Lieferando, I will report my experiences with Gyros King here. Unfortunately you have to give one star. That was the first and last time we ordered there. At around 7:30 p.m. we ordered 59 euros, of which 4 euros were actually delivery costs. 1x grilled lamb with fries and 2x gyros, with 1 souvlaki and fries and 1x feta. It should be delivered around 8:15 p.m. and 8:25 p.m. It was a perfect fit because we wanted to watch the European Championships. Shortly before 8.30 p.m. I got the message that the food had been delivered and they wished us bon appetit. Only there wasn't anything there yet. At 8:39 p.m. I called there and nothing had arrived. The answer I got was that it was still in delivery but should be there soon. So I called again at 9 p.m., now really a little pissed, my people were hungry and still nothing, same answer..... Driver has to be there any moment. I just said that I hope the food is still warm. Shortly afterwards the driver was there and we were happy. You probably noticed that we were happy. All the dishes were ice cold, the lamb was tough and had rice on it, there was really little tzatziki and the feta wasn't baked, generally the portions weren't worth the money. Called again at 9:10 p.m. that the food was cold and we would like our money back. So he said he would come and pick it up. By now I was really pissed and was able to go into the kitchen and whip up something to eat because everyone was hungry. I don't know exactly but about 30 minutes later he came to pick up the food. Now I have to say a souvlakis was taken off the skewer and placed on the gyros. Everyone tried minimally otherwise we wouldn't know that the lamb was tough. He also looked in each pack to see if anything was missing, as if he were counting. Then he just said that the entire money wouldn't be returned because it no longer looked the same as it was delivered and at least one souvlaki was missing. Yes, it was on the gyro. 24 euros were transferred back... really now... 24 euros was a huge impudence. I mean, the food can't be sold anyway...it was just not placed there as carelessly as before. After the waiting time, it is purely the fault of the supplier and not of us consumers. Waited for over 1.5 hours, reported delivery after about 45 minutes... I'm seriously wondering... WHAT happened to the food during that time? Definitely never again and not recommended.

I ordered there for the first time today and had it delivered. I'm from Oldenburg and currently in rehab here in Kreyenbrück. Unfortunately I was disappointed 😞!! The food was delicious, no question!! But the portion for almost 15 euros (gyros with bifteki, salad and rice was very puny. For 2-3 euros more, I get more in Thassos or other Greek restaurants and get full. I could have become a regular customer, but that's how it was Unfortunately it's a unique story. For me it's clear once and never again. It's really a shame because it was really delicious!!!! Therefore only stars for the food and the fast delivery!!!

More to take away, not to eat there. But: very tasty!

The food arrived much too late, but it wasn't finished either. The food wasn't even cooked in the time it took. Funny. So the food wasn't edible because it wasn't cooked through and the taste was also a disaster. Do you need to know...

Extremely delicious gyros! Finally not dry, but juicy meat. The tzatziki here is also really impressive, very creamy and easy to enjoy as a dip. The owner is very nice and easy to talk to. The ambience of the snack bar is of course mixed, but I see it that way and everything is clean.

Gyros King is a snack bar. And you shouldn't expect restaurant quality, even if the prices for plated meals are just as high. The gyro is sometimes a bit dry. Tzatziki is always too little. And the Bifteki is already very small for the price. Nevertheless, it is something different than kebab or pizza or rollo. We have ordered more often in the last few months. And it wasn't all bad. Now there is a new minimum order value at Lieferando: 50 (!!!) EURO + 4 (!!) EURO delivery costs. With average prices of 14 euros per plate, you would have to have at least three people to get to this minimum order value. As a single, couple or family with one child, it is almost impossible to reach this minimum order value. And whether a flat rate delivery fee of 4 euros is appropriate, even though the prices for gasoline are no longer as high as they were months ago, is rather questionable. That's why we can't and won't order here anymore.

I ordered gyros plates twice over the phone today and they were absolutely delicious 😋 I can really recommend them. And I always order because I have no problem with it. And it's not expensive either. Even if it's a bit more expensive, it is again. Because everything is like that, in my opinion. Gyros King 'is number. 1 in Oldenburg. And keep it up 👍

Auch für neue Kunden am Silvesterabend auf kurzfristige Bestellung prompte Lieferung in bester Qualität. Große Portionen. Sehr zufrieden, da bestellen wir gerne noch einmal.

Ich weiß nicht, was für eine Erwartungshaltung manch Leute mittlerweile haben. Du magst Restaurant-Essen? Geh in ein Restaurant. Selbstgemachtes? Dann Koch selber. Billig? Dann geh zu diversen Fast-Food Ketten. Es handelt sich hier um ein Schnell-Imbiss griechischer Art. Und für das, ist das Essen echt in Ordnung. Preis / Leistung ist echt in Ordnung. Das Personal ist echt freundlich. Wir würden dort wieder bestellen.

Haben heute eine Athena Platte + extra Tzatziki bestellt welche für 2 Personen gedacht ist. Wir haben sie mit 3 Erwachsenen und einem Kleinkind nicht aufgeschafft. Für das Geld ist es definitiv wert, solche Portionen sind eine Seltenheit geworden. Geschmacklich absolut top, Gyros ist richtig gut gewürzt und knusprig. Das restliche Fleisch ist auf den Punkt durch, nicht zuviel nicht Zuwenig, großes Lob an die Küche. Hier Bestellen wir definitiv wieder.

Ich hab Gyros in Knoblauch mit Käse überbacken und in metaxa auch mit Käse und beides war unfassbar lecker. Danke für die schnelle Lieferung und den freundlichen Fahrer 👍🏼

Wir haben das Essen abgeholt. Dabei wurde das Tzatziki für den Gyros nicht mitgegeben. Das haben wir leider erst zu Hause festgestellt. Gyros war trocken. Pommes waren auch kein Highlight. Vegetarisches Gemüse … als für EUR 11,00 sowas anzubieten ist Mutig. Kein Geschmack, viel Flüssigkeit und vom überbacken kann hier keine Rede sein.

Ein kleiner süßer Laden. Sehr nett. Essen wird so vorbereitet, dass es zum gewünschten Zeitpunkt fertig ist und warm ist. Essen war eine super Portion und war wirklich lecker, man schmeckt dass, das Fleisch selbstgemacht gemacht ist und nicht iwas gekauftes oder so. Ich kann den Laden einfach nur empfehlen :)

Leckeres essen und sehr freundliches personal Essen verlief ohne magenprobleme oder sonnstiges. bisschen rummeliges interior das einen ein wenig unwohlsein erzeugt beim essen. War aber echt okay deshalb 4/5 sternen würde da wieder essen.

Ein kleiner Imbiss an der Straße. Hygiene sowie Sauberkeit lässt zu wünschen übrig. Essen war auch nicht berauschend .

Ein Interessent kleiner laden der von außen ein Richtiges Imbiss Feeling abgibt Leider wahr weder der Service noch das Essen eine wirklich Überraschung das Gyros wahr durchschnittlich das Tzatziki und der Krautsalat leider relativ Neutral das Highlight ist Das super flufige Brot was wunderbare Grill Aromen hatte generell ist man für die 7€ Gyrospita gut SAT geworden aber ich habe definitiv schönn bessere gegessen wie zum Beispiel bei secco um die Ecke oder bei Kontakt

Es scheinen neue Besitzer den Laden übernommen zu haben. Dadurch hat meiner Meinung nach auch die Qualität stark nachgelassen. Aussen und innen pfui mittlerweile. Kann mich da manchen Vorrednern nur anschließen. Schade, dass ich als sonstiger Stammgast nun keiner mehr sein werde!

Man bestellt besser und geht nicht in den Laden. Es schmeckt besser, wenn man nicht gesehen hat, wo es herkommt. Eigentlich ein Fall fürs Gesundheitsamt und den Lebensmittelkontrolleur. Absolute Katastrophe drinnen: dreckig, klebrig und viel Schrott. Klebrige, kaputte Stühle etc., angeklebter Staub überall, Aufkleberreste am Interieur...geht hin und schaut es euch an.

Gyros Pita wie immer bestellt. Nur diesmal wurde ich maßlos enttäuscht . Nach der Preiserhöhung war zwar der alte Geschmack da aber die Portion kleiner. Sage und schreibe 9 Stücke Gyrosfleisch in der Pita gefunden. Der Rest war Salat und ein paar Pommes. Jungs….. das kenne ich anders von euch. Ändert das oder ich bin kein Kunde mehr….

Vor Ort waren wir nicht, aber bestellen läuft😁. Schnelle Lieferung, der Fahrer hat extra angerufen um sich eher anzukündigen. Klasse Essen, Toller Service. Hier bestelle ich gerne wieder. 5 Sterne.

Gyros war super, Salat auch. Selbst die Pommes haben den langen Weg nach Donnerschwee überstanden. Einen Stern Abzug gibt es für das Bifteki, es war nicht durch .

Heute erstmals dort bestellt und abgeholt. Haben sehr lecker und reichhaltig gegessen. Leckeres Gyros, frischer Krautsalat und wirklich guter Zaziki. Wirklich empfehlenswert!

Nicht so sauber aber es erinnert mich immer wieder an so kleine Läden in Griechenland! Und das ist genauso lecker wie in Griechenland!

Prawdziwy Gyros ręcznie robiony, a nie jakiś pasztet. Naprawdę warto tu zaglądać. Bardzo miły właściel który jest bardzo Przyjaznym człowiekiem. Kieliszek Ouzo za Przyjaźń między narodami. Zweimal Standard 😀

Absolut top! Hier kann sich das ein oder andere griechische Restaurant eine Scheibe abschneiden! Super Gyros, toll gewürzt und saftig. Auch die anderen Sachen der Speisekarte sind sehr zu empfehlen👍

Wenn ich 10 Sterne geben dürfte,würde ich es machen.Bin jetzt zweimal zum bestellen da gewesen,und bin mit dem Essen mehr als zufrieden.Möchte meinen dort die beste Thunfisch Pizza zu bekommen,die es gibt.Auch was ich sonst bestellt habe,hat fantastisch geschmeckt.Ich weiß nicht wie man diesem Mann 1 Stern geben kann.Ich zumindest bin mega zufrieden.Sehr kundenfreundlich.Es ist mein Stammrestaurant geworden.

Germanized... Nicht authentisch... Nicht zum empfehlen. Wenn man will echt authentische Griechische Street food dann muss man Innenstadt bei "Zum Griechen" probieren.

Irgendwie nicht so mein Ding..unordentlich...unübersichtlich..sieht eher unappetitlich aus. Essen war nicht herausragend aber in Ordnung. Fand es aber recht teuer. Eine Gyros Pita und einem Gyrosteller mit Suvlaki 20 Euro War trotzdem erstaunt, wieviel Kundschaft da war
