GWG Wehringhauser Hof in Hagen

We've been a happy guest there for several years. The conservatory and the "Gaststube" are renovated and beautifully furnished, and the beer garden is cozy and rustic. The food and service are always good. We held our class reunion there last year, with a spit roast to turn yourself, along with salads, dips, and bread. All at a great price. We love coming to Annette and her team 👌

The food was really good, but the air quality in the room was so bad that our daughter had to leave the restaurant repeatedly. New review Today, October 19th, we wanted to try eating there again. We had made a reservation in advance and wanted to redeem our Radio Sparbox voucher. When we arrived, we were told they were no longer accepting vouchers. Aside from that, I find this extremely strange and it has a rather unpleasant aftertaste. There was nothing about this on the website when making the reservation. It's like luring people there first, and they'll stay. That's not how it works; after all, we paid money for the voucher. All in all, it was our last visit; we left immediately.

The food here is excellent. Friendly staff. Highly recommended.

"Old but Gold" is a thing here. Above the bar is a sign reading "The Best of 1954"—anyone who loves old, rustic classics will find what they're looking for here. I don't go there often, but I always go back, and when I do, I enjoy it. A "barn with HEART" gives me a pleasant atmosphere and brings back memories of my childhood. I wouldn't want to miss the Stadtschreiber!

We went there for potato pancakes. We wisely reserved a table. It was great. Homemade applesauce!! We'll definitely be back.
