We were there for the second time today, the staff is very friendly, humorous and accommodating. There is a quiet and family atmosphere in the restaurant. The price-performance ratio is perfect. We had the rump steak and beef fillet and it really impressed us - very delicious. This restaurant is worth a visit and we will definitely come back :)

Eating out in a nice atmosphere with friendly service - we really liked it here. We were there for the first time - but definitely not the last time. The food was delicious, there was fresh bruschetta from the house and an amaretto for everyone after the meal.

The price-performance ratio is great. In addition, the rump steak tastes so fresh, as if the staff had just killed the beef and the dishes are extremely aesthetically presented. All in all, a clear recommendation for people who appreciate good food and a quiet, relaxed atmosphere.

Eigentlich wollten wir im Hotel essen, nach sechs Stunden Autofahrt.Aber unser Hotel hat, man höre und staune Sonntags weder Restaurant noch Bar auf. Also suchten wir eine Alternative und fanden das Restaurant Guttenbergterrassen. Sehr nette Inhaber.Super aufmerksam und freundlich. Das Essen sehr gut, das Filet ein Gedicht. Der Salat frisch und sehr schön bunt, einfach alles sehr lecker. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder.

The atmosphere is very nice. Noble and yet with a feel-good atmosphere. The staff was nice, but also a bit, I found, very talkative, which can be nice, but can also be annoying when eating. The food was good, but not special. The beef fillet for €39 was good in terms of meat, but overall the taste could be improved, and the side dishes were uncreative and standard. Prices but otherwise good

Went there for dinner with two children (3 and 8 years old) and even a little later, when the kitchen was actually already closed. But we were offered something else and everyone was happy and the food was delicious. Super friendly host and landlady!!!

Very nice terrace that protects from the rain. The food was very good and the service (although very busy and alone) handled it well.

Addendum: Been there again several times. We were always treated to fantastic fried potatoes with very good steak. Good portions, reasonable prices. Definitely again.

Great beer garden (for Bavaria: Wirtsgarten ;)) atmosphere with friendly owners who take care of the guests themselves. Food inexpensive, with fresh things, otherwise traditional (schnitzel etc.). The neighborhood restaurant in summer and winter.

Wir hatten uns ganz kurzfristig telefonisch angemeldet und wurden trotz vollem Haus und Stress der Gastwirte (ein Koch war ausgefallen) sehr freundlich empfangen. Das Ambiente ist schick und gemütlich und das Essen war sehr gut. Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis top und wie schon gesagt sehr offene und freundliche Gastwirte. Sehr zu empfehlen.

We were there spontaneously on Saturday, it was very full, but we still managed to get a seat. We were also honestly told how long it would take to get food (thanks for that). We had a very nice evening, with very tasty food, very, very great service and a nice ambience. The children even received ice cream as a gift from the boss himself. Can just be recommended.

When we are in Göttingen, we like to come here. The cherry matjes, pickled by the owner himself, are particularly recommended in summer.

We were there for the third time now. Table was reserved outside. Bruchetta, pasta, schnitzel and steak were all first class. The owners are very pleasant people. It was a beautiful summer evening with beer and wine. We don't have time to go away often, but we'll definitely come back here.

Discovered by chance while looking for a stopover. Super friendly, great ambience and the food was always great, unfortunately only far away. It's definitely worth getting off the highway and dining there. The food that went to the other tables also smelled great.

We were there on a Saturday evening and it was surprisingly empty. The owner was very warm and friendly. The ambience was really pleasant, modern and inviting. Overall, the food was very good, although in my opinion the schnitzel could have been a little thinner and the breading crispier - but that's a matter of taste. We'd love to come back when we're in the area again.

Super fresh food and top hospitality

Unfortunately I was disappointed with the service. The chef himself was very pushy towards my two toddlers and kept on touching them even though we were objecting as parents. Food was ok.

Drink (beer) ok. Fast, neutral, friendly service. The chicken burger was disastrous. Rarely let anything go back. Fries cold. Burger bread not warmed up on grill. Chicken not cooked through.

We always enjoy coming here; whether with the family or with our “men’s group”! The owners are absolutely great! The food tastes great and the service is perfect. I would give more stars, but there are only 5! So: ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️

One of the nicest restaurants in Göttingen. Extremely warm hosts, good cuisine, fair prices and a chef who knows what he is doing. Really nice terrace, but also great inside. Can be used for small groups or even for entire companies!! This is real gastronomy!!

Ein sehr nettes aufmerksames Inhaberpaar hat uns empfangen und die Tagesgerichte empfohlen. Haben prima gegessen und getrunken. Die Preise sind ja mittlerweile fast überall sehr gestiegen..... Deshalb geht man ja viel weniger essen. Hier hat es sich gelohnt. Freuen uns schon im Sommer mal draußen zu essen. Das Ambiente ist Geschmackssache

We received a very friendly welcome and luckily had a reservation. The food was excellent, everything was fresh and cooked and prepared with love. Für mich eines der besten Restaurants in Göttingen. Man fühlt sich einfach willkommen. Dazu noch das Essen was immer perfekt ist. Es ist für uns, das Stammlokal geworden .

Aufgrund der positiven Google Rezensionen sind wir hier zum Essen eingekehrt und die Entscheidung war goldrichtig. Tolle Inhaber, gemütliche Atmosphäre und sehr gutes Essen. Wir haben uns herzlich Willkommen gefühlt und man hat gleich gemerkt, dass das Inhaber-Ehepaar das Restaurant mit Herzblut führen. Bei unserem nächsten Besuch in Göttingen, werden wir definitiv hier wieder einkehren!

Very nice restaurant, close to the sports complex of Göttingen University. We had a large group of 10 dining in, notified the restaurant only hours before, but they still managed to accomodate us! The food was very good, and the service warm and welcoming. 20/20, would go again if I find myself in the neighbourhood.

Die Gutenbergterrassen sind ein absoluter Genuss! Die saisonalen Gerichte sind hervorragend und bieten eine geschmackliche Vielfalt, die beeindruckt. Die Gastgeber sind immer außerordentlich freundlich und aufmerksam, was den Besuch zu einem rundum angenehmen Erlebnis macht. Die schöne begrünte Terrasse schafft eine wunderbare Atmosphäre und lädt zum Verweilen ein. Ich kann die Gutenbergterrassen wärmstens empfehlen und freue mich bereits auf unseren nächsten Besuch!

Es ist leider wie bei der vorher von dem Paar betriebenen Hainbergschänke: TK Flammkuchen bekannter Marke mit etwas Grünzeug gepimpt... Fertig! Eine Dreistigkeit, wo frischer Flammkuchen einfach und schnell zu machen ist! Der Göttergatte der Wirtin nervt nach wie vor mit seinem peinlichen Auftreten.

Das Essen dort kann ich nur weiterempfehlen. Die Inhaber sind superfreundlich und sehr aufmerksam gegenüber den Gästen. Da werden wir wieder hingehen und einen weiteren schönen Abend verbringen.

Wir haben einen schönen Geburtstagsabend hier verbracht und dürften lecker schlemmen. Euer Panna Cotta mit Kirschen ist super lecker. Ambiente sehr geschmackvoll und sehr nette Bewirtung. Immer wieder ein Besuch wert!

Waren heute auf einen Aperolabsacker nach dem Feierabend dort. Kenne keinen Laden der auch nur ansatzweise von Service, Qualität und Location daran drankommt in Göttingen. Der Chef hat sich auch persönlich für uns Zeit genommen. Musik war auch ein Traum. Sehr zu empfehlen!!!!

es ist äußerst wohltuend für ein altes Ehepaar, trotz Hochbetrieb bei Regengüssen freundlich empfangen zu werden und einen Platz zugewiesen zu bekommen. Dem ersten, sehr gute Eindruck entsprach auch das Essen (Bruschetta mit Pfifferlingen, Lachs auf Penne mit Spinat) und das köstliche Kellerbier und auch der Riesling. Dazu der Wortwitz der Gastgeber zur Unterhaltung. Wir kommen wieder, wenn wir wieder in Göttingen sind!

Ich fand es hier total gut . Das Essen hat geschmeckt und die Bedienung war total freundlich. Die Gaststätte könnte vom Ambiente her auch irgendwo am Strand sein. Top !!!!

Volles Resto und Stimmung brav bis akzeptabel.

Schöne Gegend da oben um zu essen. Das Essen (wir hatten Schnitzel, Hähnchenfilet, Ofenkartoffel) war lecker und die Portionen machen satt, dazu nette Bewirtung. Einen Stern Abzug gibt es für die Wartezeit, die doch auch aufgrund zu dem Zeitpunkt noch überschaubarem Besuch, etwas geringer ausfallen dürfte.
