We celebrated our wedding anniversary at La Rustica in Chemnitz and were thrilled. Even the phone reservation was very friendly, the journey was straightforward, and there's parking directly across the street. The restaurant is lovingly decorated, and the outdoor area is also beautifully landscaped. The welcome was warm, and we were escorted to our table by an attentive waiter. For starters, we had bruschetta – fresh and delicious. My wife chose a prosciutto e funghi pizza, huge, freshly topped, and delicious. I had an Argentinian sirloin steak on pasta with Gorgonzola sauce: perfectly cooked, tender as butter, and a real highlight. The portions were so generous that we took the rest home with us. For dessert, we had a takeaway tiramisu, which was also very impressive. We paid around €85 for two people – the price, quantity, and quality were absolutely perfect. The service, ambiance, and food made the evening perfect. We would love to come back!

The food was delicious, the service was okay, and the prices were reasonable. We felt very comfortable and had a lovely evening together. I just found the music too loud, and we didn't like it, but that's a matter of taste. We'll definitely be back.

During a private celebration held at the wine bar, we had the opportunity to experience the hospitality and ambiance for the first time. The beautifully presented Italian dishes, including antipasti, main courses, and desserts, testified to the expertise of the entire team. The dishes, prepared according to authentic Italian recipes (the chef is Italian), were a true feast for the palate. Excellent Italian wines were also offered. The service was friendly, attentive, and courteous. The wine bar is highly recommended. We would gladly return.

We spontaneously reserved a table for Sunday evening today, which luckily went smoothly. When we made the reservation, we were asked whether we wanted to sit inside or outside. We chose outside, but on arrival we were told it wasn't possible, as we had only made the reservation at short notice. Everyone was there, fine, no end of the world. After about 15 minutes, our order was taken. At first, the waitress only wanted to take our drinks, but then reluctantly asked us to please take the entire order. Of course, we had already chosen everything in those 15 minutes. The starter, a simple pizza bread with garlic, took about an hour to arrive. The price-performance ratio was okay. The main courses took another 30 minutes to arrive. The pizzas were okay, but not what you'd expect from an Italian restaurant. Very dry, and the arugula wasn't washed properly, as it was still a bit sandy. The truffle gnocchi, on the other hand, was quite good. The atmosphere itself was very nice and cozy, but it was a bit drafty because the door was open the whole time. Otherwise, the service was friendly. Prices for regular starters are very steep, but all other prices are very good.

It was a fantastic evening in a fantastic restaurant. The wonderful atmosphere, fantastic staff, and, above all, the fun-loving owner made it a pleasure to linger. We'll definitely be back :-) The JYSK gang from the ACC

We had the great pleasure of eating at La Rustika, and what can we say? It was an absolute hit. The service was consistently friendly and attentive. The food was simply outstanding. We will definitely be back. Highly recommended for anyone who loves good Italian food. 5 ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We reserved a table there a while ago. We arrived 15 minutes early, which is pretty standard. However, when we asked about our table, they said it was still taken and that it was perfectly fine since we were way too early. The people at the table weren't even close to being ready. They just said we could wait in a room with others at the back or outside. Since the room was quite full and it was cold outside because it was winter, we decided to leave. You can't assign a table when you're so fully booked.

We reserved a table at short notice by phone and were fortunately seated quickly – given the high temperatures, we were very grateful to be seated indoors. Unfortunately, the evening didn't go quite as smoothly as we would have hoped. Right from the start, there was a mix-up with the drink order: The server interrupted the recording to make a phone call and overlooked the fact that we had requested a lemonade instead of a beer. Such misunderstandings can happen, but it would have been nice if they had listened attentively to us. The wait for the drinks was about 20 minutes. During this time, we were largely ignored while the server chatted animatedly with other guests. Our food orders, however, were taken in a friendly and correct manner. The appetizers arrived after about a quarter of an hour, but the selection didn't quite meet our expectations. The selection seemed a bit careless – unusual ingredients like melon peel with ham and grilled eggplant skin weren't very popular. The quantity on offer was also quite limited for the price. The main courses then took another 45 minutes to arrive. The plates looked good, but – despite the ambitious prices – fresh pasta was omitted. A dish with gnocchi, saffron sauce, and spinach was particularly disappointing. From the very first bite, we noticed that the spinach had clearly not been washed sufficiently – it crunched noticeably with every chew. Our polite warning was initially ignored, and only after repeated requests was the dish replaced. Unfortunately, the second version was not entirely satisfactory. Over the course of the evening, we also noticed the condition of the premises: many areas appeared unkempt. We pointed this out, but the response was friendly but superficial. In total, we paid around €150 for five adults and one child. The food tasted quite good, but the combination of long waits, lack of care in preparation, and a lack of cleanliness left us with a rather disappointing overall impression. With a little more attention and attention to detail, much more could have been achieved here. Edit: As the owner claims, the "house wasn't full." Three tables outside and two inside, including us. Thank you for acknowledging our criticism. At the very least, you'll surely have cleaned the dining room after our complaint, which will please other guests. 🫶🏻

This was our first time at La Rustica – and certainly not our last! The service was extremely friendly, attentive, and prompt, making us feel very welcome from the very beginning. The food was a real highlight: everything was freshly prepared, delicious, and lovingly presented. You can immediately tell that the food is cooked with quality and passion. We also really liked the ambiance – cozy, stylish, and with a pleasant atmosphere that makes you want to spend time. All in all, a thoroughly enjoyable visit, which we would happily recommend! We're already looking forward to our next visit.

I had hoped for more, as the restaurant seems to be very popular. The service was moderately friendly. My husband's empty beer glass was not even questioned when picking up the appetizer plate or when serving the main course. The appetizer (bruschetta) was excellent. The main course, lasagna, was too salty and otherwise rather mediocre, but edible. The spaghetti with grilled squid could have been a bit less al dente, and the squid was also rather tough. Unfortunately, there's no need to repeat this.

We were at La Rustica again yesterday and, as always, had a wonderful evening with fantastic hosts! The food is simply delicious: large portions, lovingly prepared, of the highest quality, and simply delicious! The service is courteous, attentive, and incredibly warm! We always feel truly comfortable and a little bit at home! The ambiance is cozy and lovingly decorated! ...the garden is also stunningly beautiful and invites you to feast on summer evenings! We are grateful that Chemnitz has such a wonderful and authentic Italian restaurant and are already looking forward to our next visit!

We returned to LaRustica today after almost two years (we moved). It was definitely the last time; we'll never be back. The manager's service quality has left a lot to be desired for some time. We remembered the good quality of the food – until today. We waited a reasonable amount of time for our orders and our drinks. The starters, bruschetta and carpaccio, took 60 minutes to arrive. When we politely asked, the manager replied that everything was served in a row and they only had one oven. The starters arrived about 10 minutes later. No apology, no regrets – nothing. Just a subtle accusation along the lines of, "You'll just have to be patient." The starters tasted okay, but not the world. After clearing our plates and waiting for the two Diavolo pizzas, we received a rude dig: "The pizzas are coming soon!" The pizzas arrived. The size was disappointing, and the dough consistency and thickness was more reminiscent of the kebab shop at the train station. The topping was a complete disaster. Both pizzas were completely oversalted—not spicy because of the spicy salami, but completely oversalted. The mushrooms were completely overseasoned. Unfortunately, we could only eat half a pizza each and complained about the quality. As you can imagine, the manager came back. They couldn't find anything, and that everything was fine. She didn't want to hear the argument that they used to be a very frequent customer and the quality of the dough and pizza size had deteriorated considerably. Everything was great, everything was chic, everything as usual. We asked for the bill and paid the full (!!!) price. I had at least hoped that, given the wait and the fact that they had to return two main courses because they were inedible, they would give us a discount on the price - but no such luck. Not a word of regret until we left. Apparently, due to the lack of competition, they no longer need it here. As I said - never again.

The waitress didn't arrive at the table for 10 minutes. When I ordered my drinks, the phone rang, and she was gone for 5 minutes. The greens in one meal weren't washed properly, and they crunched when chewed. The response to our complaint was rude. There was dirt everywhere, and dead flies on the windowsill. My first and last visit.

After making a reservation by phone, we were seated very quickly. Luckily, we were inside in 35 degrees Celsius in the shade. It got off to a bad start, as the waitress interrupted our drink order because someone was calling, but at the same time she hadn't even noticed that someone had ordered a Sprite and not a Pilsner. A bit of compartmentalized thinking: A man has to drink beer. So far, so good. After that, we waited 20 minutes for our drinks and almost suspected we'd been forgotten while the waitress chatted away with regulars. Ordering our food went smoothly. The starters arrived after 15 minutes. But that's where things started. The starter platter included the grilled skin of an eggplant and a melon skin wrapped in ham, and luckily also a proper piece of melon with ham, 2 peppers, 5 olives, 2 orange slices, 3 lettuce leaves, 1 pickled pepper, two slices of zucchini, three slices of tomato with a slice of mozzarella, and a few slices of sausage and cheese. The whole thing came to €17.50, well-priced with little use of goods, and even the peels were put to good use on the customer's plate. After that, we waited another 45 minutes for our main course. The first impression was good. However, there is no homemade pasta here, despite the very tasty prices. So, this is also very well-priced with low product value. With homemade pasta, even more savings could be made, but the quality would also be improved ;) The gnocchi in saffron sauce with spinach, however, crunched terribly with every bite. It's likely that the spinach wasn't washed properly. No sooner said than done, and they informed us up front. But unfortunately, there was no reaction. Then something else was said, until someone finally took pity and asked what the problem was. Great answer: It's baby spinach. Well, I've personally never heard that baby spinach that grows on the ground doesn't need to be washed before it's prepared. The three repeated requests that they were welcome to taste it were discreetly ignored. It was taken away. 20 minutes later, it came back, hotter and more liquid. Again, a good calculation: complaints are simply washed off, slightly diluted, seasoned, and given back to the customer. This saves further expenditure. The only problem is that it gets clean but still crunches slightly. Unfortunately, we noticed how dirty everything was afterwards. Pictures are pending, by the way. We naturally pointed this out to the waitress, who would be happy to clean everything. The total cost was about €150 for 5.5 people, but unfortunately, with all the dirt, rudeness, and stubbornness, it was too much. To be fair, the food tasted good, but could also have been prepared at home more cheaply with homemade pasta. Of course, with less dirt in the food and in the premises!

Last attempt at La Rustica. I'm missing the love... and maybe it would be helpful to follow the principle of "less is more." The oranges used for decoration looked like they did on my Advent wreath, the bread for the appetizer was stale and very scant, three pizzas were okay, but the dessert was weak. The panna cotta looked like it came from the refrigerated section, topped with chocolate sauce from a bottle... All the best for the future!

To cut a long story short, my mouth is watering just thinking about it. We always order takeout, especially the Pizza Chef, and it's always been a highlight. It can seem very stressful, so I haven't eaten in person yet. Still, I highly recommend it. Thank you for being there!

The food was good. Starter 5/5, main course (lasagna) 4/5 and dessert 2/5. The rooms are nicely decorated, but it was quite loud, which made it difficult to have a conversation at a normal volume. The staff was not good. They "ignored" us a lot and we had to wait a really long time (place the order), except for the bill, where they were very quick. ;) The waiters sometimes stood around in groups of three instead of serving the guests. I think there are better Italians in Chemnitz. Conclusion: You can do it, but you don't have to do it

The restaurant is well located, with a spacious parking lot opposite. The ambiance of the restaurant is fantastic. It's very lovingly decorated, and the staff is also very friendly and attentive. Customers are not only served, but they feel welcome as guests! The pizzas were very tasty; the crust was quite thick (if you like that), unusual for a real Italian restaurant, but very, very tasty. You could eat just the crust and be happy. The salads were good, the dressing was also well-balanced, but nothing special. You might consider switching to a different salad that doesn't tempt you to use up the tough leftovers. That was a bit of a shame. The pasta itself was cooked to perfection, and you could taste that it was really good pasta that seemed homemade. The mushrooms and meat in the sauce, however, were unfortunately a total disaster. The mushrooms looked as if they were either undercooked or had absorbed moisture from somewhere. This resulted in a "squeaky" texture and spoiled the taste even for mushroom lovers. Dish 226 included strips of beef fillet. What was supposed to be the highlight of the dish was so mistreated that it would have been better left out. They were sliced ​​as thinly as I've ever seen, and completely overcooked. They were as far removed from juicy, thick fillet strips as the sun is from the earth. My colleague's steak was also quite thin and not well cooked. Considering the price, you should definitely pay attention to the quality of the meat and the preparation. As a tip, take a look at the pasta with fillet strips at a LaOsteria chain and see what they're hiding underneath. The fillet strips left a strong suspicion that they were cutting up leftover meat so small that they could reuse it somewhere. However, if the chef took criticism as an opportunity to change something, he would have the opportunity to become an excellent and great restaurant. Unfortunately, for me, this is a reason not to come back. I wish the lovely team all the best. Perhaps things will change and the restaurant will become a showcase kitchen—the potential is there.

Admittedly, I was a bit confused at first by the size of the restaurant. However, you quickly feel at home thanks to the homely room concept (warm colors, lots of plants, suspended ceilings). The service was perfect and the food was prepared with a lot of love. Unfortunately I discovered the day ticket too late, otherwise I would have made a decision. The restaurant could definitely point this out. Overall conclusion: I definitely want to go here again!

We had expected a lot more, but carbonara with cream from an Italian restaurant would have made you listen up. The 2 hour wait for the food of medium quality spoiled our evening rather than making it an experience. For the daily special, we were served ready-made gnocchi with a touch of beef fillet. With the second dish, a T-Bone for €60 as a weekly offer upon request, we would have expected quality. Due to the different strengths, the mass-produced goods offered cooking levels from medium to well done, which is why this was certainly not available or asked for when ordering. All in all, I recommend looking for another Italian restaurant if you like it authentic. There is definitely one in Chemnitz. Otherwise, you can do it, provided your expectations are low and you're in the habit of killing time.

The food was actually always very good. But today everything was pretty salty. I'll blame it on today's big crowd. In addition, the waiter made a big mess when taking out the cash. He had swapped the tables and passed us the bill from the next table. They were already gone and had probably gotten our cheaper bill. The only bad thing is that he first charged us by card and only then showed the bill in detail. You don't expect something like that, you actually trust it. But he did it consciously. So always check the invoice first and then pay! ☝🏻 I hope it was an isolated case, otherwise we never had problems like this here!

Eating and bowling, both are possible here, of course only with prior reservation. The food was delicious, but not everyone was full. But the kicker is that you have to order and pay for the cheese, for example for pasta, separately! This is the first Italian where the cheese is extra. In Italy, cheese is part of the meal. The bowling alley, well, is not suitable for professionals because it is so uneven that the balls just bounce forward. Pushing balls is no fun. Summary: It was better here. Conditionally recommended.

This was our second time eating there and unfortunately we weren't impressed by the male staff again. As “foreign guests” you get the feeling that you are somehow not that welcome. The tone is not particularly friendly. Otherwise, the food is very tasty and the location is cozy. So it was actually quite nice, but we probably won't eat there again.

Had dinner there on Saturday evening as a large group. Unfortunately we waited quite a long time for our ordered food. A friend had pasta with salmon which was unfortunately cold. The pizza was OK, but nothing special in terms of taste and size. Ambiance was nice. Unfortunately, for the last hour no one came to ask for drinks. Compared to the last time I was there 7 years ago, I was a bit disappointed this time.

Overall good. Unfortunately it was way too loud in the large room and it didn't always work out well with the drinks. But eating well was okay too.

A great restaurant. We particularly recommend the bruschetta, which is perfectly prepared with fresh tomatoes and crusty bread. The Spaghetti Aglio e Olio al la Chef was also a highlight for me. We are always very satisfied and enjoy coming to visit.

We were a slightly larger group with probably more than 60 people. You can tell that the staff has a lot of practice - but there is a bit of chaos and sometimes you just have to wait longer. But that's all ok and I can definitely recommend the restaurant. It tastes really good, the house wine is okay, the people are friendly and helpful and accommodating until the end. Conclusion: suitable for repeated visits. Thank you!

Were disappointed with the visit. Even though the restaurant was very busy, I find a 45 minute wait for an appetizer unreasonable. Main courses arrived after 1 hour. Pizza was not edible because it was burnt. But I have to point out that we were compensated with a children's ice cream sundae and 2 espressos. You only saw the service when something was served. When we asked in between whether there was anything else we wanted, we waited in vain. In any case, we will not visit the restaurant again. There are certainly better “Italians”.

Top restaurant, deserves 5 stars in all respects, nothing more can be given. I'd love to come back.

Very tasty and everything fresh. The waitresses were very friendly and didn't get annoyed, even though everything was full, they didn't turn away any guest but rather found options. It is still advisable to make a reservation.

The food was great, the service was friendly and quick 😌 The ambience is very nice, but unfortunately the room at the back is very loud when there are a lot of guests. Nice outside area. I can recommend it.
