sehr gutes Essen, schneller Service, gute Preise, gute Speisen- und Getränkeauswahl: uns gefällt es hier prima!

Was für eine angenehme Überraschung! Das Essen ist köstlich und die Bedienung sehr aufmerksam und freundlich. Zwar muss man sein Essen selbst abholen, sobald es fertig ist, aber das gehört eben zum Konzept des Restaurants. Ich habe den frischen Cappuccino, die absolut überraschend leckere Margherita-Pizza und das sehr gute Tiramisu sehr genossen. Der Roséwein in der Flasche ist gut, aber mit 16 € etwas teuer für einen Rosé.

Das Äußere: eher unauffällig bzw. wenig gemütlich, doch die Qualität des Essens überzeugt den geneigten Gast! Typische Speisen, die man von einem italienischen Restaurant erwartet, und die kommen in Frische und ansprechend angerichtet auf den Teller. - Der Service ist das, was man selbst leisten will; Getränke kommen z.B. in den Flaschen ohne Strohhalm oder Glas zum Verzehr. Bei den angemessenen Preisen im Grunde kein Problem und die Damen u. Herren hinter dem Tresen sind freundlich. -Die Toiletten sind über eine Wendeltreppe nach unten erreichbar und insgesamt ist das Lokal nicht für Bewegungseingeschränkte gut geeignet. Jüngeres Publikum und auch Gruppen kommen hier sicher gut zurecht und denen wünsche ich guten Appetit!

Kleine, überschaubare Karte, aber das sind meistens die besseren Restaurants, was sich auch hier wieder einmal bestätigte. Wir haben hier eine sehr gute Pizza zusammen mit einem sehr freundlichen Servicepersonal genießen dürfen. Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis war auch absolut gerechtfertigt und keineswegs überteuert. Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen. Danke!

Es handelt sich um ein Selbstbedienungsrestaurant, das liebevoll von sehr freundlichem und hilfsbereitem Personal geführt wird. Nach wenigen Besuchen gehört man bereits quasi zur Familie. Sehr nett, sehr lecker, sehr empfehlenswert.

Ein toller Fund bei einem Spaziergang mit anschließendem Abendessen. Meine Begleitung und ich teilten uns zwei Pastagerichte, Salate und Getränke. Die Pastagerichte waren einfach und schmackhaft, ebenso wie die Salate. Der Service war super schnell und das Ambiente so schön, dass wir draußen an Tischen essen konnten. Es gab Cola in Flaschen und eine große Auswahl an anderen Getränken, darunter Bier und Wein. Ich kann das Restaurant aufgrund des Services und des Geschmacks wirklich empfehlen. Ein rundum gelungenes Erlebnis für einen Erstbesucher. Ich komme gerne wieder! Ein großes Lob an Gusto und das gesamte Team!

Essen war super, das Konzept überzeugt mich aber nicht.

Wir haben hier schon mehrmals gegessen. Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist fantastisch. Das Essen frisch und super lecker. Es gibt auch eine kleine und feine Weinauswahl. Die Leute sind super freundlich und das Lokal ist klein und kuschelig. Sehr authentisch italienisch!. Dass man 5 Minuten nach der Bestellung drei Meter bis zu Tresen gehen, muss um sich sein Essen zu holen, weiß man und das macht sogar Spaß. Wir sind super froh, dass es sowas feines in Kassel gibt. Und dann auch noch fast gegenüber der Stadthalle- Wer hierüber meckert hat vermutlich andere Probleme im Leben.

Ich habe verschiedene Pizzen probiert und sie waren wirklich alle sehr lecker. Frisch zubereitet und das Essen kam auch sehr schnell. Die Atmosphäre ist angenehm und einladend. Besonders hervorheben möchte ich die Pizza mit Räucherlachs und die mit Rucola – die sind nochmal eine ganz andere Geschichte 😋

Was für ein tolles Konzept! Die Geschwindigkeit von Fastfood mit Qualität! Die Zutaten sind frisch und der Service absolut freundlich! Bruscetta, Pizza und der Espresso danach waren wirklich gelungen!

Wir gehen sehr gern hin, da lecker und nicht teuer. Die Muscheln sind besonders gut, allerdings viel zu klein. Man hat kaum was im Magen, das ist nicht ok. Man sollte seinen Gästen Muscheln mind in Größe M anbieten.

Toller Ort, ich hatte Carbonara und Pizza, sehr lecker, die Angestellten sind höflich und aufrichtig.

Das Gusto Tavola Calda bietet eine sehr schöne Location. Dazu noch leckere italienische Küche. Meine Familie und ich fühlte uns rundum gut. Der Pizzaboden ist zart und der Geschmack sehr schmackhaft. Der Gäste Service ist sehr bemüht und der Gast liegt Ihnen am Herzen. Das merkt man.

Immer wenn der kleine Hunger kommt und immer wieder gerne kommen und essen wir hier.

There were two of us. The service and ordering system is unusual at first, but easy to understand 🙂 We each ordered pizza...both were very tasty. The highlight, however, was the tiramisu. Handmade and also very delicious. We give it a very good 4.5 out of 5 stars.

Everything is in bistro style...rustic...find a seat...order...pick up at the kitchen counter...everyone is super friendly...prices are great...pizza is top-notch...they'll even bring it to your table if it suits you...waiting time is normal...it's worth coming back.

Pizza was great, but the pasta was a flop. I was there on Saturday, November 15, 2025, and had the pasta with Bolognese sauce. A friend of mine had the Carbonara. Both dishes were offered at a fair price, but they were very bland (you could add salt and pepper yourself, but other seasonings, such as Italian herbs, were missing). The Bolognese was rather watery, and I would have appreciated it if the menu had mentioned the parsley (which was scattered over the dish in small pieces). I think it would have been less of a problem as a garnish, since you could simply remove it. :) The atmosphere, however, was very pleasant, the staff were friendly, and the prices were generally very fair.

The pasta is always cooked to perfection! They also master the art of making a crema coffee, and they can also combine dishes differently than the original recipe. The perfect setting for a pleasant lunch break!

We've eaten here several times, or ordered and picked up something, and we've always been satisfied. We've recommended Gusto several times. :) You'll be taken at the counter in a friendly manner, then you'll receive a buzzer that vibrates as soon as your food is ready, and you can pick it up yourself. In addition to the delicious dishes on the regular menu, it's also worth checking out the current specials.

Conclusion: Like a cafeteria. + It was very fast. 5-7 minutes from ordering to serving. - No service. You order at the counter and pick up your food at the counter. - Poorly presented - Poor taste I had the Bruschetta & Spaghetti Carbonara. Bruschetta = 2⭐ Fresh ingredients. Bread was soggy and hard. Apparently pre-toasted that morning. Too few onions. Not enough flavor. Tomato pieces too large. Asparagus Carbonara: 0⭐ Watery cream sauce with no flavor. Definitely not carbonara! Couldn't get a bite down. All this with a 0.33 liter Coke for €20. Not recommended!

Very friendly and very good food

It was actually good, but unfortunately the outside area was noisy on the main street. The inside was nice, with high tables but also some regular ones. The food isn't brought to the table; it's more like a self-service affair. The food was good, which is what matters. Very reasonably priced, highly recommended!

The food was fantastic! Their Pizza Quattro Formaggi was hands-down the best I've ever had. The Bolognese and Carbonara pasta dishes were also delicious, though one dish was just okay. The staff were super friendly, but the atmosphere didn't quite live up to the exceptional food quality. For sure try their Pizza quattro formaggi

It may seem unassuming at first glance, but anyone who eats here, whether without or, as in our case, with children, will definitely not go wrong. Gusto in Kassel is a fantastic self-service Italian spot! The food quality was good, especially the Carbonara, which was great and highly recommended. It's easy to order, the environment is comfortable, and you can sit outside in summer. Prices are very reasonable. We wish we'd known about the extra menu, but we were too hungry to notice! Definitely a top choice for a delicious and affordable Italian meal.

The pasta is sensational. I had penne arrabbiata. The sauce was perfect!!! The service crew is friendly and helpful. Gusto's concept is "self-service." You have to like that. There are tables and chairs/benches outside. I would come back whenever I'm in Kassel.

Beautifully located in the western front of the city, between Bebelplatz and Stadthalle, with plenty of street parking. The restaurant has an authentic interior and outdoor seating in the summer. The food is freshly prepared in the open kitchen. The food is truly delicious. The friendly and competent staff deserves special mention.

We visited this Italian restaurant on recommendation – and we didn't regret it! The atmosphere is very cozy, with pleasant music and a warm, inviting interior. The pasta was simply outstanding – fresh, full of flavor, just like in Italy itself. The pizza, with its crispy dough and aromatic toppings, also left a great impression. The prices are absolutely reasonable for the quality of the food. I can definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants to enjoy authentic Italian cuisine!

This wonderful tavern, which is located near the Congresshalle, has a cozy atmosphere and home-style delicious food! I especially liked the pizza! I can happily recommend it!

Simple pizzeria, you could also go to Piccolo Mini Pizza. Order food at the checkout, pick it up at the counter and put away the dishes, all self-service.

Gusto Tavola Calda - for me is always associated with a nice walk through the front western, the city garden and finally a stop at my favorite restaurant for Italian dishes. Here it is right in terms of taste and also humanely. All the employees are extremely friendly, the dishes are ready quickly - fully prepared and ready to eat - because it simply tastes too good! 😄 The shop owner, a very nice gentleman, is present almost every time and is funny and accommodating. Clear recommendation here if you are still thinking about it!

It's actually a self-service restaurant. You order the pizza or something similar and when it's ready, a timer vibrates on the table. You can then pick them up and eat them there or take them with you. The AMBIENCE IS below average, but the staff is very nice and accommodating. The pizzas were really tasty. The price-performance ratio is ok.

I actually wanted to spend a really cozy evening after a long day at the trade fair. Here you order at the counter and then pick it up... Longer stays are not desired... I had spaghetti with tomato sauce, which was good and tasty.

We discovered this restaurant because of an event at the Kongress Palais. It was very well attended. However, we were able to find a table quickly so we could tell the counter our table number when ordering. Despite the restaurant being very busy, we were able to pick up our food quickly. The entire team was extremely friendly despite the high level of stress. The food was very hot, fresh and delicious. We will definitely eat here again at the next event nearby.

Früher ( vor Corona ) war er besser. Wir waren dreimal da, es kann ja mal sein, dass es nicht so gut, kein Problem. Werden nicht wieder kommen. Schade waren immer gerne da.
