Gustaggio - Pizzathek - Pastaria & Bar in Leonberg

Unfortunately my starter was forgotten. I told the waitress because my main course was already in front of me. I just thought it would take longer. He would have brought it to me but when the main course is there I of course no longer need the starter. Unfortunately, a lot of things were brought to our table incorrectly. I had carbonara. Was fine. But nothing special unfortunately. I would still come back and try the pizzas.

Dear team. I was there yesterday and I have to say we were otherwise always happy with the food and service. I absolutely always eat the pasta from the parmesan loaf... yesterday the portion was so small there were 5 spoonfuls, which is probably a joke for that price... it's a shame I have to look for a new favorite restaurant. Then there's the fact that we weren't asked once if we wanted something more to drink...we had to call the cellar every time.

We have been regular customers for years. The food always tastes good to us. Unfortunately, the service and the noise in the restaurant are getting worse and worse. Our last visit had nothing to do with a relaxed visit to a restaurant. The music was turned up very loud. As a result, there was a loud babble of voices. It was almost impossible to have a conversation anymore. We asked that the music be turned down a little. This lasted about 5 minutes. Children were playing catch in the restaurant and almost knocked over other guests. The staff asked parents not to moderate their children. I am a mother myself and would never tolerate such behavior. The food came very late. When paying, the waitress just said it was Sunday and it would always be like that.

Everything is great. I would just like to have the gnocchi again. I always went there because I liked eating it so much.

Has improved a lot! Respect. Salad, pasta, pizza and even the espresso are really good. The staff is super friendly and there seems to be a very good working atmosphere. I've been there more often now... it's developed really well! Previous review: Location very nice, staff too, but my food was only average on both visits. Unfortunately, pizza doesn't come from a wood-fired oven, you can clearly taste that, and the ingredients and salad are also average. Grade 2-3. Addendum 09.2020: I tried again. The pasta was also really nothing. Sorry, really nothing. Doughy noodles, bland sauce. For me the worst "Italian" in town. The size of the pizza says nothing about its taste. And another postscript: The music really doesn't go well with Italian food, salsa should be played at Joe Penas. I'm really sorry. Somehow it all doesn't add up at all. Only the inner courtyard is an argument for a visit in good weather.

A wonderful location in the heart of Leonberg. I would consider the ambience to be upscale. The decor seems very warm and the music in the background is also tasteful. The food is very good and it is freshly made. You can also taste the high quality. The staff is also very courteous, attentive and consistently friendly. You meet a smile everywhere. The price-performance ratio is good. We will definitely come here again.

Pizza was super good as always. The ambience in the department store wasn't quite as nice as in Sifi and the music was too loud. Otherwise, always happy to go to Gustaggio.

Food tastes averagely good. Service is OK. The ambience is nice but it's a shame that there is no lactose-free milk, so I couldn't enjoy a cappuccino.

The food here was very tasty. However, the portion of spaghetti made from the Parmesan cheese was very small. The pizzas are huge. We were there with 15 people. Unfortunately the service wasn't good. Several times people were overlooked by us when they ordered for the first time, and then we literally had to fight for a second drink. I didn't even order a second one myself. We were never asked if we wanted something more to drink. The atmosphere is great for that. It's a shame that the service didn't have a good day that day

Good food, friendly staff. Were there at Christmas. Unfortunately they swapped our pasta dishes with another table. That's why we had food at the table three times and after waiting for 2 hours we were extremely hungry. That's why only 4* but should have been an exception.

Been here again for a long time and I have to say it's still good. The staff is on point, the food tastes very good and fresh. Location itself is beautifully furnished and has a cozy fler. Wasn't here for the last time.

We went out for dinner during the week and had made a reservation, although it appeared that this was not necessary during the week. The food was very good. The pizza is huge and the salads well made. There are deductions in the ambience due to the high level of noise in the restaurant.

The food was tasty, but you waited a little too long

Things are really going downhill now. Lunch is no longer possible for less than 70 minutes. But who has such a long lunch break? This time I skipped dessert and espresso so that I could pay after 60 minutes and repeated requests. Happened to me for the second time now. It used to be very good and the price was great. Unfortunately, the quality went down and the price went up significantly. Unfortunately, price and performance no longer match for me.

If my dish ( Manzo E Chili ) is supposed to contain beef strips, why are there cubes? What is a green pepper looking for in this dish? How can it be that I have to carry my drinks etc. in myself when I change seats without getting help from the service who was informed beforehand! Restaurant wasn't full

Food was good. At times we found the pizza dough to be a bit salty. The service was friendly. The prices are okay. The portions are huge. Thank you very much Delicious pasta with delicious tomato sauce. Excellent espresso. Very good non-alcoholic pilsner!

Gustaggio - Pizzathek - Pastaria & Bar really impressed me! I ordered pizza and pasta to pick up and was more than satisfied. The pizza was wonderfully crispy, well topped and tasted great. The pasta was al dente to the point, with a lovely sauce that was seasoned to perfection. I would particularly like to highlight the great service. Not only was the pickup quick and easy, but I also got extra parmesan at no extra charge - even though I didn't even ask for it! Small touches like this make the difference and show how much value is placed on customer satisfaction here. The food was still hot when I got home and every bite was delicious. It's rare to feel so much attention to detail in a pick-up service, but at Gustaggio you can tell straight away that there is a real passion for Italian cuisine at work here. If you appreciate good food and great service, this is the place for you. Clear recommendation!

Friendly service, fast, fresh, tasty

My husband and I had dinner on August 3rd Wedding day. We were very disappointed with the Aperol Spritz Then we continued with calzones raw inside I had fried calamari and shrimp •No words, I have never been served something so bad and dry in my life and the breading was miserable, let alone the bread that came with it. We definitely won't visit you again. There can be no excuse because there was no rush at 7:30 p.m

Es wäre eigentlich ein ganz nettes Restaurant. Mir ist auch bewußt, dass die Preise gestiegen sind. Hohe Preise zu verlangen und dann aber nur wenig Leistung zu bieten ist für mich nicht ok. Ein paar lieblos angerichtete Spaghetti mit Tomatensoße (siehe Bild) für 14 Euro halte ich jedoch für deutlich überteuert.

I hardly leave two stars but unfortunately this place deserves them. Ordered a plate of spaghetti with garlic and oil (and you'll say... you go looking for it) and a portion of overcooked spaghetti arrives with two semi-raw garlic cloves cut into small pieces, a purely decorative chilli pepper and a parsley leaf. Little oil, lots of pepper and little passion, a terrible dish. The focaccia was decent but the wait was interminable and as the icing on the cake a very hot draft beer... for the locals it will be a good restaurant but for the Italians I say NO!

We ordered the Popeye pizza and the Spaghetti Salmone, and both were really delicious. On top of that there was the dessert “Mascarpone Berry Crumble” – simply perfect. The service was very nice and attentive. Perfect for a nice evening with friends or family.

This restaurant is situated on a great location, easy to navigate. Ample spaces for sitting inside and outside. Service is great, food is good (prices surely have gone up for the last few years), however atmosphere is nice and you can have nice time whether with friends or family

Great atmosphere, unfortunately a bit noisy when there's a lot going on. Service is very good when the number of guests is low, but unfortunately not so good when the number of guests is high. But the food is a poem. I have never eaten the bruscetta better, the salads are very tasty, the pizzas are large, crispy and well topped. The dessert is okay, but it doesn't really fit after the starter and main course anyway 😉

What a treat. Homemade pasta, incredibly good. You definitely have to eat them. The staff is super friendly and competent. The location is very attractively decorated. All in all, I can only recommend Gustaccio. We will be back.

Chic restaurant with a good lunch menu. The food was very tasty and the prices were really reasonable. The portions of the daily meal are slightly smaller than the other dishes on the menu, but you also get a salad, a small dessert and an espresso.

Always check the invoice immediately!!! Since we wanted to pay for a friend, I quickly paid for everything and only checked it when I got home... 2 schnapps and 2 water were too much on the bill. That's very annoying.

One of the best Italians in the Stuttgart area! I'm happy to take on these 40km every time and I've never been disappointed so far.

Both lunch specials were great. However, on my last two visits I had to wait a long time for the condition. So it doesn't do me any good if I go there for my lunch break. The backdrop was so loud that you could hardly have a conversation or eat in peace. I suspect that it was due to the loud music, which probably caused all the visitors around to speak louder... a potential increasing effect is that the music becomes louder, if you want to hear music you turn it up louder and that's probably how it came about total volume on site. Please think about turning the music down. It will definitely be quieter overall in the backdrop.

The food was good but it could have been a little quicker. Business card looks ok A guy from Leonberg had ordered Pizza Diabolo but it came with a pizza without pepperoni!!!!!!!!!!!!😡😡 That's not possible! He then started crying and pooping his diarrhea

Great in itself, but the service isn't always on point, but it's always very friendly. When requested, an extra plate for the children was never a problem. Just like topping up with parmesan or something similar.

Long waiting time, service overwhelmed and when we wanted to leave there was a rude comment from the waiter. I will not recommend it. A cola wheat €5.20 is already a hefty price.

Very friendly staff. The pizza was very tasty. A crispy dough that is the perfect thickness. The pizza is actually very big. So even for good eaters the last few pieces are difficult. But that's not negative. Can definitely be recommended!

Update 4/10/24 Prices have increased massively since 2020, in comparison an increase of between 40 and 60%. This is significantly more than inflation including the VAT increase and, in my opinion, difficult to explain. The food is still good, you can sit outside and the pizza is large (but sometimes sparsely topped). Overall, for me, the price-performance ratio is unsuitable. ____ The staff is clearly trying to optimize the service, which they do quite well. The food is good, there is also a little something on the house and the prices are just about acceptable. Unfortunately extremely loud, even at lunchtime with few tables occupied.

The food here is delicious, normal like many Italians, but still good. The staff was also really friendly. There is an option to sit outside which is nice. What really shocked me, however, were the prices. We've eaten here many times before, but it's never been as expensive as this time! You pay between 18-25€ for a portion of pasta? In the end we spent €70 for 2 people (for 2 portions of pasta, 4 drinks and 1 dessert...) which wasn't expensive, but very expensive. That's why I unfortunately only have to give 3 stars... a shame ☹️

Die Pizza Margherita schmeckt mit dem billig Reibe-„Mozzarella“ oder sagt man dazu eher Käse aus der Tüte leider überhaupt nicht!!!! So eine fettige Pizza, kein Geschmack nur billiger Industriekäse. Für 13,50 € sehr enttäuschend!! -Da hilft der gute Teig, mit dem man dort auf der Karte wirbt auch nichts. Ich würde es annähernd nachvollziehen können wenn man bei dieser Qualität preislich bei vielleicht 7-8 € liegen würde. Schade, aber empfehlen werde ich die Pizza dort sicher nicht. Mitarbeiter-/innen sind nett!

One of the best pizza places! It might seem a bit pricey, but it is worth it I assure you! Both the Calzone and the pizzas I ate were delicious! A very nice place to go for a first date too. 😉

Very pleasant and above all pretty shop. We were only there for cocktails, so I can't rate the food. But it smelled delicious and looked appealing. If the food is only half as good as the cocktails, then that's fine. These are also very attractively priced at happy hour. And due to the lack of diverse alternatives, it's definitely worth a visit.

Food: Lukewarm soup. Very greasy pasta in a small portion. Very expensive drinks. All pasta dishes with cream sauce. Traditionally, most things in Italian cuisine are prepared without cream sauce. Service: friendly. Conclusion: Nothing special. Unfortunately no recommendation.

We have been to the Gustaggio in Leonberg several times and always enjoy coming there. The food is always very tasty and we feel very comfortable in the atmosphere. The waitress on our last visit (Ellen) was very committed and friendly despite the full house. Thumbs up.

Actually great, only when I was at lunch I had to wait forever for my food. Others who came later got their food even earlier than me. They also received the same thing as me and my companion. There was probably a mix-up, at least that's what they said when asked, but the staff were still friendly

We got a cocktail 50 minutes before the end, which was pretty good and reasonably priced. But they were thrown out very punctually. Nice atmosphere, I don't think you can go wrong here.

Basically really good. A tip for those picking up pizza > check whether you get the pizza you ordered. It could also be something another customer ordered. It feels like Italian roulette 🤭. But hey!☝🏻 ..everything’s cool. .. we liked that too. I consider it a kind of Italian specialty. 😁👍🏻 ... To surprise someone with it 😉

The store is still chic and the service is quick and friendly. The cocktails are usually well mixed and are well priced during happy hour. It could be that my taste has changed over the years, but the food seems to have decreased and the prices have increased considerably. Many things have become more expensive today, so I don't really deduct the stars here. But the last few times I've been there, the food just lacked flavor. Be it pizza, pasta dishes or seafood. It was simply weak in taste. And even if the consistency was right, there was too much missing to give full stars. I'm sorry dear Gustaggio team. Keep doing your good work and maybe you'll enjoy it again someday. Best regards
