Die Preise sind enorm gestiegen, leider kleine Portionen und geschmacklich normale Gerichte. Das Resto sollte auf jeden Fall an der Preis-Leistung arbeiten, denn wir Kunden zahlen nicht gerade wenig ...

Das Essen war gut, der Service jedoch furchtbar. Ich werde nie wieder hingehen.

Hot Pot ist klasse. Gute Auswahl bei Zutaten und Dips. Habe jetzt auch mal Ma Po Tofu von der Karte bestellt: sehr lecker. Take Away daher auch empfehlenswert.

Für mich als Sichuaner ist dies der authentischste Hotpot in München.

Wir waren das erste Mal dort und sind total begeistert! Das Fleisch war sehr zart und das Gemüse sehr frisch. Wir haben zum ersten Mal Kronenwucherblume probiert und es hat uns sehr gut geschmeckt. Die Auswahl der Zutaten ist wirklich riesig und es ist für jeden etwas dabei. Wir haben 3 Brühen probiert. Die chinesische Brühe Stufe 2 war für uns schon sehr scharf, aber sehr lecker. Auch die Dips sind toll gewesen. Als Nachtisch hatten wir Schneeeis und Klebreiskuchen. Eine völlig neue Erfahrung, interessant und lecker. Besonders die Sauce zu dem Kuchen. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder und können das Gushu nur empfehlen, wer mal richtig gut Hotpot essen möchte.

Sehr authentisches Hotpot-Restaurant mit sehr freundlichem Personal.

Die Nudelsuppe war fantastisch! Ich freue mich schon darauf, den Hotpot zu probieren!

Mit 2 Kindern da gewesen. Die Pots sind in die Rische eingelassen. Und man bestellt über die Handyapp. Sehr freundlicher Service (vermutlich Inhaberfamilie) hilft beim Bestellprinzip und berät bei der Auswahl. Man sollte nicht mehr wie 2 Suppen nehmen. Super Getränkeauswahl. Das Essen ist so viel Aktion, daß wir kaum zum Trinken kamen. Es gibt auch so eine Buffet für Saucen und Dips. Sehr empfehlenswert. Um 18Uhr waren wir noch alleine. Plötzlich war der Laden voll bis auf einen Tisch. Eine Reservierung ist glaub ich empfehlenswert. Wir waren gute 2Std. da hatten einen schönen Mittwoch Abend. Die Kinder fanden es eine tolle Erfahrung. Parkplatzsituation war auch gut.

Wir haben den Valentinstag als Paar in diesem Restaurant verbracht und uns vom ersten Moment an sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Atmosphäre war außergewöhnlich herzlich, das Servicepersonal aufmerksam, professionell und zugleich angenehm unaufdringlich. Besonders hervorheben möchten wir die Tomatensuppe: hervorragend im Geschmack, intensiv aromatisch und wunderbar ausgewogen die milde, „deutsche“ Schärfe ist hier vollkommen ausreichend und rundet das Gericht perfekt ab. Auch die übrigen Speisen waren frisch, ansprechend angerichtet und kulinarisch auf hohem Niveau, sodass sich die längere Anfahrt in jeder Hinsicht gelohnt hat. Als liebevolle Geste gab es zum Schluss sogar noch eine Rose, was den Abend besonders romantisch abgerundet hat wir kommen sehr gerne wieder und können dieses Restaurant uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen.

Das Essen war originell, frisch und gut. Die Getränke kamen leider sehr schleppend, teilweise erst, als der erste sein Getränk schon ausgetrieben hat, bekamen die Anderen etwas, manche wurden garnicht gefragt, bzw übersehen. Es wurde auch nicht nachgefragt, ob man etwas trinken möchte, bzw noch etwas. Das fand ich ausgesprochen unaufmerksamkeit. Der Umsatz an unserem Tisch hätte um einiges höher sein können! Ansonsten war es ein netter Abend.

Wir hatten insgesamt eine gute Erfahrung. Das Essen war sehr lecker und die Auswahl gut. Die Speisekarte ist nur über einen QR-Code zugänglich und nicht sehr benutzerfreundlich. Selbst nach der Übersetzung bleibt der Großteil des Textes auf Mandarin/Kantonesisch. Man muss außerdem endlos an den Getränkekategorien vorbeiscrollen, um zu den Speisen zu gelangen, was die Navigation sehr mühsam machte. Das Personal ist sehr aufmerksam und hilfsbereit, die Preise sind angemessen und Kartenzahlung ist möglich.

Das Essen ist an sich lecker aber für den Preis sind die Portionen viel zu klein. Unter €50 pro Person wird man nicht satt. Wir haben die scharfe Brühe und es schmeckt genau so wie die Brühe aus dem Asiamarkt.

Hervorragende Qualität und erstklassiger Service! Super.

Wir bestellten einen halb-halb Hot Pot, einmal scharf und einmal mit Tomatenbrühe. Die Tomatenbrühe war okay, aber die scharfe Brühe war absolut ungenießbar. Sie schmeckte süßlich-scharf. Wir fragten die Bedienung, ob es eine Butterbrühe sei, und sie bejahten dies, aber sie schmeckte überhaupt nicht nach Butter. Wir gaben zweimal Chili hinzu, aber sie blieb süßlich-scharf. Ehrlich gesagt, sprachlos. Die Zutaten waren in Ordnung, und die Portionen waren klein, was akzeptabel war. Aber selbst die besten Zutaten nützen nichts, wenn die Brühe schlecht ist. Kurz gesagt, 100 Euro für so einen Hot Pot für zwei Personen auszugeben, war reine Geldverschwendung. Wer süßlich-scharfe Brühe mag, nur zu!

Guter Service und insgesamt leckeres Essen. Die thailändische Brühe war unglaublich und sehr aromatisch. Die Gemüseportionen erschienen mir für den Preis etwas klein, die Fleischportionen hingegen waren angemessen. Ein absolut empfehlenswertes Restaurant für Hotpot-Liebhaber.

Die 1½h Anreise um hier essen zu können waren es auf jeden Fall wert. Unglaublich gute Brühen, die Spicy Varianten packen auch eine ordentliche Schärfe, worauf hier auch extra hingewiesen wird. Das Personal ist sehr schnell und bemüht. Die Stimmung ist super, locker und lustig und das Essen scheint für uns als Deutsche/ Österreicher auch um einiges authentischer zu sein, als man es sonst in der Umgebung gewohnt ist. Werden gerne wieder hier essen!

I didn't expect to encounter technology and hard work in Germany. In order to make the meat "look fresh", industrial meat rolls will add nitrites or other color preservatives to keep the meat pink after heating. Normal meat will turn gray-brown or light brown when cooked; this kind of "fake meat" will remain red after long cooking. Sometimes "edible coloring" such as red yeast rice, carmine, and allura red are added. The myoglobin in normal meat will not turn red after being denatured by heat; only additives can make the meat "fake tender". You can't taste the texture of the meat at all, you just feel tender, so tender that it looks fake.

I loved everything about this restaurant, good food and reasonable prices. My only problem was that the staff even though they seemed very kind and nice, didnt speak a word of english and the menu is only through a QR code also with no english option (yet) so i took us more than half an hour to find out through google translate what to order

There is a wide selection of meats, such as: E.g. tongue or offal, and the sauce bar is a real highlight with a wide selection of spices and sauces that you can put together yourself to dip things from the hotpot into. That's why the store is very popular with the Chinese community and enjoys a solid reputation. The only disadvantage: the first time we had difficulty finding the entrance because the shop is in the back yard. Even if the price-performance ratio isn't quite as convincing (you pay around €40-50 per person here and it's not an all-you-can-eat), overall it's a very good choice for a hotpot.

If you crave for hotpot, then this is the place to go to. Delicious broth with vegetarian and spice-level options. Lots of options available to add to the meal. And we loved the sweet potato noodles. The hosts are helpful and offered us aprons too.

Compared to the Munich hotpot institution that is Choi‘s, this place offers up a few key differentiators: (1) a different though not wider variety of meats like beef tongue and marinated cuts, (2) properly spicey soup base that’s not toned down for German palates and (3) the real winner: a proper DIY sauce bar with a wide range of condiments. Value for money isn’t quite as good though given you still end up paying €40-50 per person and it’s not an all you can eat like Choi‘s

The service attitude is so bad. It took more than 45 minutes after I ordered the ice powder. During this period, I was reminded at least three times without explaining the preparations. The ice powder served to other tables later than ours was served, but what we ordered was not served. Be unapologetic at checkout.

An interesting experience in a positive sense: It was a bit unusual for us at first, as ordering is done online via QR code. But everything is very clear and easy to choose. Good quality ingredients and fast service. We'd be happy to go again!

Nice hotpot Restaurant. Unfortunately the spiciness of the dishes was a bit confusing and the "little spicy" option we ordered was quite spicy. Otherwise the prices and service was good. Ordering requires quite a bit of teamwork to coordinate everything.

We are regular guests and are very enthusiastic about Gushu Hotpot: the ingredients are fresh and high quality, the broths are very good and the service is also incredibly fast and courteous. We enjoy coming and recommend the restaurant at every opportunity. :)

From June 2022 to now, I eat Gu Shu once every two weeks on average, and three times a week during the peak period. As far as personal taste is concerned, I think this is the best hot pot restaurant in Munich, the whole of Bavaria, and even the whole of Germany. Very authentic and in line with Chinese taste!

Tip top! The ingredients are super fresh, the staff is very friendly, the price is high, but it's totally worth it!

Authentic HotPot restaurant with very tasty food

This place is very popular, and warm, so don't wear too much when you come to eat. The food is really nice, as a Chinese myself I like to see that they offer tons of variations in organs parts. Also the dessert is not bad. Location is a bit far away from city the but price on the other hand is way cheaper than city centre. 10 people we spend less than 40 euros per person including everything already. You can not get this price in the centre. 5 stars!

Both my wife and I got food poisoning. Both threw up and had diarrhea directly in the next morning after eating dinner.

This should be the most authentic Sichuan hotpot in Munich. Anyway, as an authentic Sichuanese, I can strongly recommend it. The bottom of the red oil pot is butter, and the dishes are also rich (in fact, it would be better if you can order half portions like Haidilao). You can also sit in the courtyard in the summer without worrying about the smell. Although it is a little far from the city, free parking on the roadside is very convenient, and the U-bahn is also directly accessible. so it's really great

The closest you can get in Munich for an authentic Chinese hotpot experience. The only hotpot restaurant that I would go to, whether to meet colleagues, friends or just feeling peckish.

Coming from America, finding good hotpot with all the options i'm used to is difficult. Gushu comes soooo close. They have great soup bases and veggie options, but I'd love for more meat options like chicken and pork that are thin sliced. Sadly the only options for those are thicker pieces that become rubbery when cooked. But thats honestly the only complaint. Outdoor and indoor seating is very nice, the sauce bar is great. Resturant is consistently clean and the service has always been kind.

This was my first time at the hot pot, so I was very ignorant. Unfortunately, none of the employees could help us because no one spoke German or English. We then simply ordered something and tried it out. The food was delicious. We were seated in the main area. This was very nicely decorated, but the more crowded the restaurant became, the more difficult it was to get to the sauces directly at the other end of the main area.

I often come to the store to eat on weekends and holidays. The taste is very authentic and the food is generally served very quickly. The boss is also enthusiastic and honest, and the experience is great!

Authentic food and friendly staff. But it’s really over priced and tiny portion. For example 5.5eur for 9 small slices of Celtuce. Fish slices are frozen (it was fresh when the restaurant just opened). Ventilation doesn’t exist. After a meal indoor you need to wash from hair to socks.

Meine Familie und ich hatten einen fantastischen Besuch im Gushu Hotpod Restaurant! Das Personal war unglaublich freundlich und zuvorkommend, was unseren Aufenthalt besonders angenehm machte. Die Atmosphäre war einladend und entspannt, perfekt für ein gemeinsames Essen. Das Essen war einfach köstlich! Jeder Bissen war ein Genuss, und die Vielfalt auf der Speisekarte ließ keine Wünsche offen. Besonders beeindruckt hat uns, wie kinderfreundlich das Restaurant war. Unsere Kleinen fühlten sich sofort wohl und genossen ihre Mahlzeiten genauso wie wir Erwachsenen. Wir werden definitiv wiederkommen und dieses charmante Restaurant allen unseren Freunden und Familie weiterempfehlen!

Food 9/10 but messy and the back room doesn't fit. Best hotpot in terms of taste in Munich, fairly priced. Sauce ingredients are good but there is no real chilli oil. Meat and vegetables fit. We were placed in the back room that looked like a classroom. We also had to wait a very long time for the ingredients. Almost 45 minutes, despite two requests. Since it's just raw stuff, I don't understand the wait.

Absolutely loved the hotpots there. Also have 3 soup options for vegetarians.

Probably the tastiest hotpot that I have eaten in Munich. It's not in the center but it's worth the trip. The cook is from Sechuan, preparing the broths in an authentic way, and I find that the ingredients are also fresh and good quality. I especially recommend the marinated spicy beef (mala niu), it's a must try if you don't shy away from spicier experiences. All in all, don't miss it if you like hotpot!

Very good lunch at reasonable prices. The aubergines were particularly delicious. You can also sit outside, a quiet sunny spot. Definitely the better Asian in the area!

Just really authentic hotpot! The more people sharing the soup base, the more economical it will be! The three flavor pot offers the most variety :D Ingredients are fresh and diverse - I got friends to try out the exotic tripe and duck blood - only possible cuz they have all the authentic ingredients! Avg cost for 5 people ended up 38-40€, with dessert and drinks included - even cheaper than Chois.

The food was very good, but the boss was very interesting. The two of us ordered a glass of beer at the beginning. We wanted to order water and were charged separately. He told us that we could only pay for water if we ordered enough drinks per head. We thought it was a bit spicy. Ordered a glass of water. After that, we ordered another beer, just thinking that we could get free water, but we didn’t expect that we still had to pay when checking out. The reason was that the water was ordered first and the beer was added later. It’s outrageous. It’s not about the money. I feel very speechless and impersonal, so please be careful. I have diarrhea today after eating yesterday. It’s really unlucky. Please don’t come.

Hot pot is very authentic in Munich but it is really too expensive. The two of us ate for 120 euros and the portion was very small. The goose intestines are very hard and difficult to chew.

Recommend the short crispy pork, Tuotuo beef, tender beef, egg fried rice, and shrimp paste It’s a great place for 3-4 people to gather for a meal, and the wine is delicious too

Very authentic hot pot! The selection of ingredients was great and fresh. The food itself was delicious. The hot pot was seasoned perfectly and the broths had just the right balance of spicy and aromatic. Warning: The spicy broth is really very spicy! The ingredients were high quality and everything was served quickly. It's definitely worth a visit if you're looking for an authentic Asian food experience.

The hot pot itself is OK, but there is nothing delicious in Munich anyway. But I was so disgusted with the boss lady’s (not sure) attitude towards drinks that she loudly asked my colleagues in front of the customers if they had ordered drinks (???), and once took the initiative to take the order, she hurriedly asked what to drink. It's understandable that there are unruly customers who don't order drinks and it's hard to make money, but it's also very rude to eat in an ugly way. I really don’t like the atmosphere of the service, to the extent that even a hot pot lover who has no choice would not want to go there again.

We went to Gushu for the first time on Valentine's Day and were positively impressed. The quality of the food is very good and we like the hotpot concept. However, you have to be careful which broth you use, because spicy here means really spicy :)

Authentic Chinese Hotpot. Quite a selection of soup base and also a lot of choice of real Chinese ingredients. The drinks are good too, really love the plum and basil spritz.

Most authentic hot pot in Munich. We’re from San Francisco and good hot pot was everywhere there, but that’s not been the case in Munich. This is the first truly authentic hot pot we’ve been able to find in the city. (The price is really reasonable based on portion size as well.) We can only recommend! Don’t waste your time or money going to Chois if you want really good hotpot with high quality ingredients. Gushu is the best!

A to go place to eat authentic Chinese hotpot! A large selection of meat and vegetables and fish. You can mix the sauce for dipping yourself. The service is quick. Prices fair.

If you're in the mood for authentic HotPot, this is definitely the right place for you. Danger! Even the normally spicy foods are still very spicy for European palates. Better to order milder. ;) We recommend.

Schlechter Service. Lange Wartezeit

Wir waren heute zur Mittagszeit in diesem Restaurant. Es wurde bewusst diese Uhrzeit von uns gewählt, da es an Silvester höchstwahrscheinlich am Abend sehr voll sein würde. Es war wenig los, sodass wir hinsichtlich Wartezeiten (Getränke und Essen) uns nicht beklagen konnten. Anstelle des Hotpots haben wir Essen von der Karte bestellt. Dies war in unserem Fall der vegane Salat, vegane Dumplings und das Entengericht. Wir beide waren vollstens zufrieden bzgl. Geschmack, Menge und Anrichtung. Wir wurden auch gefragt, ob wir klassisches Besteck haben wollen, da an den Tischen nur Essstäbchen lagen. Fazit: erneuerter Besuch steht auf dem Plan, dann vielleicht auch diesmal der Hotpot.

Great and authentic hotpot place! The staff is so nice (no English menus though...). There are spiciness level - it can get very spicy, be careful! We spent a couple of hours there, it was tasty, fresh and pleasant!

The best hotpot style restaurant in Munich city.

Ich war zum ersten Mal in einem Hotpot Restaurant. Das Essen war wirklich sehr lecker. Allerdings braucht man beim ersten Mal Hilfe von den Kellnern. Aber die sind wirklich alle sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Achtung , die Rinderbrühe ist sehr scharf, auch wenn man sie nur leicht scharf bestellt. Eine wirklich interessante und tolle Erfahrung. Etwas gestört hat die Lautstärke, daher hier nur 4 Sterne.

Excellent hot pot. A lot of food, good drink and good environment. But it is expensive, 25 euros per person. Ausgezeichneter Hot Pot. Viel Essen, gutes Getränk und gute Umgebung. Aber es ist teuer, 25 Euro pro Person. Excelente panela quente. Muita comida, boa bebida e bom ambiente. Mas é caro, 25 euros por pessoa.
