I love the pinsa here at Guglhupf. There's a huge selection (including vegetarian options). I usually order pinsa, but the pasta dishes are also delicious. I find it very pleasant to eat in, but the website makes it super easy to order delivery.

Fantastic restaurant! The service was extremely friendly and attentive. Our order arrived freshly prepared in under 15 minutes. The restaurant was packed at first, but since we arrived towards the end of lunchtime, we were lucky enough to enjoy it later without any other guests. Our meal was a culinary delight. When we were leaving, we got into a conversation with the server and another employee. I really enjoy hearing the sound of the Baden dialect. During our chat, we discovered an autographed card of Giovanni Zarrella in the restaurant. What a coincidence! We were in Offenburg specifically for the TV recording of his show. Many thanks to the Guglhupf team. We felt very welcome.

Unfortunately, we were made to wait half an hour during our restaurant visit, even though we had reserved a table with a specific time. Then, after an hour and a half, we had to leave because they only hold tables for two hours and the next guests were already waiting. This wasn't mentioned when we made the reservation. This was particularly annoying since it was actually a company Christmas party for 12 people, which we had also stated when making the reservation. The food quality also left much to be desired. For example, the spaghetti with chicken consisted of just two small strips of chicken and a few slices of zucchini, which was rather disappointing for almost €16. Therefore, I cannot recommend this restaurant to anyone and will probably not be visiting again.

It wasn't bad. The service was very slow. You had to wait quite a while before the waitress paid attention. The food tasted good, but it was too expensive for the portion size and quality. Rigatoni with broccoli and chicken, 3-4 pieces of chicken... Price €16!!

The Pinsa Romana is especially amazing – crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside! The salads in the bread basket are also super original and absolutely delicious. We spontaneously decided to have dinner at the Italian restaurant Guglhupf in Offenburg during the week – and we were absolutely delighted! Even though we hadn't made a reservation and it was quite busy, the friendly team found us a table. We sat outside, but thanks to the heated tents, warm blankets, and cushions, it was really cozy – a wonderful, atmospheric setting with background music. The service was attentive, warm, and quick. We especially appreciated that our little one (3 years old) was immediately given crayons to keep her occupied during the (short!) wait. Our order was taken promptly, and the food arrived quickly – fresh, perfectly seasoned, and cooked to perfection. Special requests were also accommodated without hesitation, such as a child-friendly meal. The pasta dishes were not only delicious but also beautifully presented – a real feast for the eyes. The portion sizes were perfect: not too small, not too large. You could really tell that they put their heart and soul into what they do. The staff regularly checked in to see if everything was alright without being intrusive. The prices are absolutely fair for the quality you get. A thoroughly enjoyable evening – we will definitely be back. Thank you so much for the excellent service and the delicious food! Keep it up!

I wanted to eat there with my husband today. We sat down at an empty table, but there were no reservation signs on the table. The waitress came and said the table was reserved because guests she knew well had arrived. They wanted that table because they always sit there. I figured we shouldn't spend our money there, so we left. NOT THE FINE WAY

The spaghetti is perfectly prepared, and the tomato sauce is always fresh, aromatic, and seasoned with just the right spices. You can feel the quality and care put into the preparation. Great if you want a quick bite to eat! Unfortunately, it takes quite a while to get your food in the evenings. The waiters and waitresses often seem a bit overwhelmed when they're busy, but they're also usually very young.

The pasta dishes are also highly recommended: top-notch in taste and beautifully presented. The staff was super friendly, attentive, and welcoming – you can tell that they serve with genuine hospitality. The value for money is also good: you pay a really fair price for the quality of the food and the great service. All in all, a very successful first visit – I'll definitely be back! We ate here as a family on Friday evening. A very friendly waitress greeted us with a smile and showed us to our seats. The children were given a menu with coloring pages. The food was brought quickly. The portions were beautifully presented, and the food was delicious. This certainly won't be our last visit. I would definitely recommend it for families with children. There's lovely music playing in the background.

An all-around successful visit! The menu impresses with creative Italian dishes and high-quality ingredients. I was particularly impressed by the Linguine Burrata – perfectly seasoned, with a fruity tomato sauce and wonderfully creamy burrata on top. For starters, I had the Caprese con Burrata salad – fresh, beautifully presented, and served with delicious bread. Anyone who loves burrata is in paradise here! The pinsa selection is also top-notch. My companion had the Pinsa Piccante with spicy salami – just the right amount of spice, without being overly spicy. The atmosphere in the restaurant is relaxed, the service attentive and friendly. The prices are absolutely fair for what you get. I'm already looking forward to the next time!

I haven't had such good pasta (with basil) in a long time. The pasta is al dente and the sauce is super creamy and aromatic. Simply perfect. The pizza was also super tasty. A thin dough with a delicious, fluffy and crispy edge and fresh ingredients. The restaurant is on a side street with a nice area to sit outside. The service was very friendly and attentive. We'll definitely be back.

As a group of friends, we went to the Guglhupf in Offenburg - a really nice and cozy restaurant with a pleasant atmosphere. I had water and the Funghi pizza, which can also be served here as pinsa. The alternative dough with a reduced flour content makes the Pinsa pleasantly light and digestible - the taste is solid and absolutely fine. The service was very nice, the service overall was friendly. In addition to the pinsa, the salad in the bread basket is particularly recommended - a great idea and beautifully presented. The prices are fair, the quality is good, and the overall experience is right (Pizza Funghi + 0.5l water €16.90). If you're looking for modern, light pizza alternatives such as Pinsa Chicken Caesar or fresh pasta, you're in good hands here.

Food was very good. We had a starter of antipasti and a chicken schnitzel. Nothing to complain about at all and good portions. Only it was served way too quickly in succession. As compensation they wanted to give a dessert for free, but if you have to process it within 45 minutes, this is really no longer possible. Worthless solution for such a nice restaurant

The menu is clear, and despite our large group, the drinks came super quickly. The starter, bruschetta with tomato and mozzarella, was very tasty — especially the pizza bread was simply amazing! The main courses also impressed everyone in our group: generous portions and great taste. The price-performance ratio is definitely right here. A big compliment also to the waitresses, who were very courteous and attentive. We felt really welcome. We would definitely like to come back!

The food was excellent, the Pinza Parma, Pinza Romana, Pizza Offenburg and the pasta were a delight 😋😘 The food for the children from the children's menu was also the best. The restaurant is beautifully, brightly and comfortably furnished. The room temperature was very pleasant. The food and drinks were served very quickly and of the best quality. The staff was very friendly and helpful with the children too. It was by far the best Italian food there is in the region. Thank you for that. What you also have to give the Guglhupf restaurant credit for is that everyone in need can get something warm to eat at any time. That is not a given either. This restaurant is definitely one of the best and we look forward to eating with you again soon and enjoying the evening.

It was nice there! Have eaten there several times but mostly the delicious salad in the bread basket. But today I had an appetite for more and ordered the rump steak...what can I say: it was tender, perfectly medium and tasted really good too! I was pleasantly surprised! I was worried that you could eat pizza, pasta and salad there but didn't think you'd get a good steak. So I can only give this 5 stars. The service was also very friendly and accommodating, the ambience inside was very pleasant (I only knew it from the outside before). I can recommend it!

We visited this restaurant for lunch and were pleasantly surprised. We chose the bruschetta as a starter - and we have rarely been served such a successful version in Germany. The bread was perfectly toasted: crispy but not too dry. The tomatoes were aromatic, excellently seasoned, and a hint of balsamic rounded the whole thing off harmoniously. For the main course we decided on a classic schnitzel with French fries and a side salad as well as a vegetarian pizza. Both dishes were convincing across the board. The schnitzel was juicy, the fries were crispy, and the salad brought a fresh note. The pizza was lavishly topped and almost too big for our company – a rare but welcome “problem”. At the end we treated ourselves to a tiramisu and a cappuccino. The tiramisu was wonderfully creamy and tasted to the point. The cappuccino was a bit too strong for my taste, but that's a matter of taste. The only minor drawback was the appearance of the menu. It looked very worn and deserved a refresh - a new print or at least more careful care would be desirable. Apart from that, this restaurant is one of the best we have visited in Offenburg so far. A clear recommendation for everyone who values ​​quality and authentic preparation.

Great Italian restaurant in an old town house, they serve high quality food for great prices. Additionally, the meals are quite big, especially the salads which they serve in a bowl made of (handmade) bread, is a lot. If you don't want to spend too much but still eat tasty italian food, you found the right spot. We're definitely going there again.

Zwischen Weihnachten und Neujahr wurde ich von Freunden in Offenburg leckerer Pizza eingeladen. „Guglhupf“ ist jetzt nicht gerade ein typischer Name für ein italienisches Ristorante, umso mehr überzeugte die ausgezeichnet zubereitete Pizza. Auf der Karte finden sich neben einer Auswahl an Pizzen auch Pasta, Salate und Fleischgerichte. Einzig ein Risotto fehlt (soweit ich gesehen habe). Mein gemischter Salat und die Pizza Parma mundeten mir sehr. Der Pizzateig war zart und der Belag frisch. Die Bedienung war freundlich und angenehm aufmerksam und die Toiletten sauber und gepflegt. Das Lokal liegt im Zentrum des Städtchens und hat einen Wintergarten. Parkplätze finden sich in den umliegenden Parkhäusern. Gerne empfehle ich den „Gegnhupf“ weiter.
