Great food, the beef burger, the pull beef and the chicken are cook to perfection, tender to the bite and juicy on each subsequent bite. Service was great and they do come and talk and ask for feedbacks. Only complain is the lighting can be better for reading the menus.

My daughter went on a trip organised by her school to this restaurant. They did not cater for her as a vegetarian. She was given a tortilla with just cheese in it. The same as the meat eaters without the meat (no replacement, no vegetables, no beans etc). The worst was that she had to stand up for herself even to get this as they initially told her they would give her the normal meal with meat and told her to scrape the meat off her plate!!!!!!!. She insisted to the waiter that she wanted a version not contaminated with meat but should not have had to!!. She is only 12 and shy. Shame on you! Do you have no idea at all of dietary requirements and how to cater for them? Very disappointing. She was really looking forward to this outing.

We visited this Guatemalan restaurant for the first time last Saturday – and certainly not our last. Upon arrival, we received a warm welcome and immediately felt at home. The atmosphere was lively yet relaxed – perfect for an evening with friends. Our server took plenty of time to guide us through the menu in a friendly and relaxed manner. His recommendations: Paloma and Margarita – both signature drinks of the house. Freshly mixed, perfectly balanced, and just the right thing to start. For our appetizer, we opted for the loaded nachos with pollo – crispy, with a delicious topping, and just the right thing to share. For our main courses, we chose a variety of dishes. On our server's recommendation, we ordered, among others, the pulled beef tacos – a real highlight! Tender, juicy meat, creamy guacamole, and a spicy pico de gallo – perfectly matched and full of flavor. The quesadilla and the traditional pepián were also impressive across the board. You can tell that high-quality, fresh ingredients are used here, and a lot of heart and soul are put into the kitchen. We were particularly impressed by the menu: It's clearly structured, allergens are clearly labeled, and there's a really good selection for vegetarians and vegans too. Since the restaurant was busy, we definitely recommend making a reservation in advance. Our server was attentive and well-informed, making our visit even more enjoyable—a real bonus to a successful evening. We'll save dessert for next time—we're already looking forward to seeing you again.

Guatemuc is one of the restaurants in Munich with the best themed decor. The entire restaurant makes you feel like you're actually in Guatemala – the details, the atmosphere – simply cozy and pleasant. Not to mention the staff, who are very warm and friendly and always in a good mood. The food is simply delicious! I'm so glad to have found a small Latin American restaurant near me. 💯🤩🇬🇹❤️

Delicious food! Everything is freshly prepared, high-quality, and full of flavor. The drink selection, especially the non-alcoholic options, is fantastic. Homemade lemonades and typical Guatemalan drinks are highly recommended. The very friendly and attentive service, along with the lovely, cozy atmosphere, made our visit perfect. Highly recommended!

A pub/bar-restaurant with a vibrant Latin American flair. The menu is reminiscent of Mexican restaurants found in Germany (tacos, quesadillas, burgers) with a few Guatemalan touches. I had the "Pepián Pollo," which looks like an Indian butter chicken curry but tastes distinctly Latin American. Overall, the restaurant and its menu aren't particularly impressive or exciting, more cozy and casual. Wheat beer and lager are only available in 0.33l bottles for €4.50, which I consider overpriced. The place was quite full, so reservations are recommended. However, we arrived without one, and they spontaneously cleared a table for us.

We arrived at the restaurant on short notice with a reservation. We were told that they were fully booked, but that we were welcome to eat at the bar. We gladly did so. The service was very friendly and attentive. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal. The price was very reasonable.

Nicely furnished and beautifully decorated with plants. The food is good. It costs about €12-16. Portions could be a bit larger. There was very little meat. Drinks start at €5. Service wasn't great. The waitress and bar manager misplaced orders several times and were rather stressed and therefore not very polite.

Guatemala is the perfect spot if you're craving authentic Latin American cuisine! The homemade salsas are super fresh and really spicy – ​​simply a pleasure. The guacamole? So creamy and delicious, it goes well with everything. We had the recommendation of the evening: Argentinian beef rump in tacos, which was incredibly tender and intensely flavored. There was also a golden brown quesadilla - crispy on the outside, perfectly filled on the inside and simply delicious! The margaritas, which were really refreshing and perfectly mixed - exactly what you want in a delicious meal. I found the small menu at the table particularly cool, which showed changing business lunch dishes - a great idea for variety and certainly a good choice at lunchtime too. The ambience is simply great! Inside, the jungle feeling with lots of plants creates a relaxed atmosphere, and outside you can enjoy the sun. The perfect place to take a break from everyday life. All in all, a really successful visit!
