Great vibe but food itself so so. We have tried nachos - good 😊, rice with some vegetables was so so and quite small, the same with tacos.🌮 What I liked is the vibe of the place and service itself.

We were here with colleagues on August 28th for an after-work event and had a lot of fun and great drinks! The drinks were excellent, the atmosphere was very welcoming, and the staff, despite our somewhat confusing orders, were very relaxed :) We'll be back!

Guatemuc is one of the restaurants here in Munich with the best themed decoration. The entire restaurant gives the feeling of actually being in Guatemala - the details, the atmosphere - just cozy and pleasant. Not to mention the staff, who are very warm and friendly and always put you in a good mood. The food is simply delicious! I'm glad to have found a small Latin American restaurant near me. 💯🤩🇬🇹

The service is also very friendly and accommodating, which is unfortunately rare these days. I can 100% recommend the restaurant. 🤩 See you again in September—every month, as always.

We visited this Guatemalan restaurant for the first time last Saturday – and certainly not our last. Upon arrival, we received a warm welcome and immediately felt at home. The atmosphere was lively yet relaxed – perfect for an evening with friends. Our server took plenty of time to guide us through the menu in a friendly and relaxed manner. His recommendations: Paloma and Margarita – both signature drinks of the house. Freshly mixed, perfectly balanced, and just the right thing to start. For our appetizer, we opted for the loaded nachos with pollo – crispy, with a delicious topping, and just the right thing to share. For our main courses, we chose a variety of dishes. On our server's recommendation, we ordered, among others, the pulled beef tacos – a real highlight! Tender, juicy meat, creamy guacamole, and a spicy pico de gallo – perfectly matched and full of flavor. The quesadilla and the traditional pepián were also impressive across the board. You can tell that high-quality, fresh ingredients are used here, and a lot of heart and soul are put into the kitchen. We were particularly impressed by the menu: It's clearly structured, allergens are clearly labeled, and there's a really good selection for vegetarians and vegans too. Since the restaurant was busy, we definitely recommend making a reservation in advance. Our server was attentive and well-informed, making our visit even more enjoyable—a real bonus to a successful evening. We'll save dessert for next time—we're already looking forward to seeing you again.

Super delicious South American food and attentive and funny waiters. I can only recommend it to anyone looking for a cool bar with a great atmosphere. The only downside is that some of the chairs are uncomfortable. Otherwise, it's great.

I love this place! Service was fast and our waiter was truly friendly and took time to have a chat with us. That is something that makes a difference and makes you feel welcomed. Nicely furnished and beautifully decorated with plants. The food is good. It costs about €12-16. Portions could be a bit larger. There was very little meat. Drinks start at €5. Service wasn't great. The waitress and bar manager misplaced orders several times and were rather stressed and therefore not very polite.

Guatemala is the perfect spot if you're craving authentic Latin American cuisine! The homemade salsas are super fresh and really spicy – ​​simply a pleasure. The guacamole? So creamy and delicious, it goes well with everything. We had the recommendation of the evening: Argentinian beef rump in tacos, which was incredibly tender and intensely flavored. There was also a golden brown quesadilla - crispy on the outside, perfectly filled on the inside and simply delicious! The margaritas, which were really refreshing and perfectly mixed - exactly what you want in a delicious meal. I found the small menu at the table particularly cool, which showed changing business lunch dishes - a great idea for variety and certainly a good choice at lunchtime too. The ambience is simply great! Inside, the jungle feeling with lots of plants creates a relaxed atmosphere, and outside you can enjoy the sun. The perfect place to take a break from everyday life. All in all, a really successful visit!

We found GUATEMUC by chance, an INCREDIBLE and highly recommended place, both for the food they offer and for the treatment received by the workers there. Enrique, the manager, was super attentive to us the entire time and the bartender, Christian, was very kind, friendly and always served us with a smile. Everything was EXCEPTIONAL! Without a doubt we will repeat.

Great shop, you sit in the sun on the terrace and feel like you're on holiday. There is a small but very nice menu with authentic dishes (although not all from Guatemala, but the typical dishes like pepian & tacos are there). My visit from Guatemala really liked the drinks, the food, the interior and especially the service team - everyone was very warm and interested. You notice that you are welcome. Went last winter with my brother, his family and their friend. As a Guatemalan, I loved the place, the service and the food. Loved how they have a space with things that I even have in my guatemalan house (pillows, decorations, etc), which makes it feel like home. Also liked the food, they had great choices that anyone can like. The server (I don’t remember his name) was amazing, he received us in Spanish (he didn’t talk Spanish ) and had such a great attitude, just like Guatemalans would receive you :). I would go back to support this amazing place that has a little Guatemala so far away, not only for the vibe but for the food and drinks.

The staff were incredibly attentive, warm, Juan Pablo , Chris (canchito), David, full of great energy—every interaction felt genuine and welcoming. They gave excellent suggestions, and their vibrant personalities made the experience even more memorable. The food? Truly traditional and delicious. Every bite reminded me of home—it’s not easy to find that kind of authenticity when you’re thousands of miles away, but they absolutely nailed it. I left with a full heart and a happy stomach. We loved it. We went as a group of 10 people to celebrate a birthday and Guatemuc was the ideal place. The place is very nice, with a very good atmosphere. The food is delicious, with good portions. The service was excellent, everyone was super friendly and very nice.

Very friendly and accommodating staff,the place is packed during weekends.I have been there often and Chris and Juan have accommodated all my wishes.Chris made a cocktail tailormade for me and I chose the ingredients.That was a first time.The place is always clean ,vibrant and filled with the younger crowd.Their Tres Leches is something to die for and a must try.I haven't had the main menu yet since it's always my place for quick eats and amazing drinks.

Sehr kleiner Laden am Werksviertel unweit zum Ostbahnhof. Ich bin mit großer Spannung auf guatemaltekische Küche hingegangen und wurde von der Auswahl enttäuscht. Auf der karte findet man nut generell Mittel- oder Südamerikanisches. Dazu mussten wir an einem Hochtisch sitzen, das heißt, gemütlich geht auch anders. Ich kann den Laden nicht empfehlen.
