We often eat Indian food, but the food here was rather below average. I found it very European, lacking in Indian spices and flavor. It could have been a sauce for Gypsy schnitzel (to exaggerate a bit). The portion was an okay size, but there wasn't enough sauce, making the dish rather dry.

Cozy, authentic restaurant with freshly cooked Indian cuisine, delicious and affordable lunches - also available for takeaway!

Really good food, vegetarian without substitutes, because they have dishes that are generally prepared without meat. They do have pizza, but I recommend the Indian dishes! It was really good!

Very delicious food. There were four of us, and everyone was thrilled. Indian and also some really great pizzas. Definitely worth a visit. The ambiance could be improved a bit, but otherwise, it's top-notch.

We were there with a large group of 23 people on a Friday evening. The menu offers a dish for every taste; I chose the grilled scampi. It was a lovely and enjoyable evening. We'll be happy to return.

We spontaneously stopped by for lunch because the display of lunch specials was very interesting. The regular memory card also offers a sufficient selection. The lunch menu is very reasonably priced. The pizza and bacon chicken were delicious. The service was good, and I would happily recommend this small, cozy restaurant.

I don't understand the few negative reviews. The food tastes fantastic, is incredibly affordable, especially compared to other local restaurants, and I always enjoy coming here. The ambiance may be a bit dated, but I go to a restaurant for the food, and you really can't complain. The vegetarian/vegan selection is also great! It's a shame the restaurant has so few visitors these days; it's completely undeserved. Definitely my favorite in all of Trier in terms of value for money. Top!

A charming restaurant, more student-friendly and rustic than chic, where we enjoyed a good vegetarian meal while strolling through town. There are certainly more authentic Indian dishes out there, but we enjoyed it immensely, the prices were fair, and the service was exceptionally friendly.

I have to say i was a little bit dissapointed. Don’t get me wrong, the food is OK, but it’s not a genuine « indian » restaurant. Food is just served on a large plate, not like in other genuine « indian » restaurants. But the thing that annoyed me the most, is the restaurant itself inside looks old, it would need a renovation, and the toillets were a little bit dirty (this surprised me in a country known for it’s cleanliness).

Das Essen hat uns nicht besonders geschmeckt. Wie fanden es qualitativ weit weg von dem, was wir von anderen indischen Lokalen kennen. Das Ambiente ist positiv ausgedrückt rustikal. Bei berechtigter Kritik auf einem anderen Portal wurde der Wirt erst ausfällig und hat dann die Rezension unter dem vorgeschobenen Vorwand der Diffamierung löschen lassen. Absolut keine Empfehlung.

It's ok - you'll get full, but Indian food doesn't have much to do with authentic Indian food. For me it was more of a German-Indian adaptation. But okay for the price. The interior needs a renovation again, the ambience is more like a pub from the 70s. It's a shame, I expected more given the great reviews...

I had a fantastic gastronomic experience at Grüne Oase! The Chicken Masala was absolutely delicious, with rich, bold flavors perfectly balanced. The chicken biryani was also outstanding - so flavorful, with perfectly cooked rice and tender chicken that made every bite enjoyable. And let's not forget the Garlic Naan - it was soft, warm and full of flavor, making it the perfect accompaniment to the dishes. I highly recommend this place to anyone who is craving tasty, well-prepared Indian food!

Addition 2: Why did you change your answer from 160g to 180g after my 1st addition? Addendum: Nobody doubts your information. But I come to you to relax and enjoy, not to discuss - And here I am asked to simply describe my impressions - and that's exactly what I do - nothing more and nothing less. You have to live with that. We were there for dinner today and found it to be just about ok in an average sense. was. We couldn't really understand some of the outstanding reviews. We had chicken biryani and I think I would have made it at least the same myself. There was almost nothing to see or taste of the chicken. It was almost vegetarian and very dry. The flavor was simply dominated by the rice and raisins. Not my case. But maybe it's also because of my ignorance. Therefore a short neutral 3 stars.

We ate there because of the positive reviews. The chicken biryani was tasty, but rather vegetarian, with only a few olive-sized pieces of chicken hidden in the rice. Mango schnapps was advertised, but was all. There is still room for improvement when it comes to operation. Wouldn't go there again

Everything authentic and freshly prepared. Go there regularly. The pizzas are very well topped, thin and crispy. As it should be.

We ordered Biriyani here, but it came with a sweet pineapple sauce, which was really surprising. I usually know Biriyani differently from Indian restaurants - it shouldn't be sweet, and especially not with pineapple sauce. Price-performance was okay, and the staff was friendly. Although the restaurant is relatively close to the city, it is not immediately visible. They also have a nice beer garden, which is definitely nice in the summer

We were there for lunch at lunchtime. There is always a vegetarian and a meat lunch menu at a great price-performance ratio. We ordered vegetable potato curry with rice and the same dish with chicken plus garlic naan bread. We found the food really tasty!

Service was a bit difficult, but still friendly... Menus arrived after about 20 minutes even though there were hardly any tables occupied, drinks were forgotten, empty glasses cleared away without asking if you wanted anything else. In general everything seemed a bit haphazard and random... The dishes were all delicious!

I ordered a pizza with two ingredients (lunch €7.5), I was charged €10.5 for a pizza from the menu The pizza was ok, not good not bad. The service was very good except for this mistake. Would actually give it 2/5 stars because of this error. I hope the service thinks about it again and does it better in the future. However, I don't know if I'll give it a second chance. I haven't "paid for" something like that for a long time :s

Kreative Indische Menüs mit der Möglichkeit Pizza’s zu bestellen, Ein Spiegelei auf den Masala , gute idee. Der Reis kühlte leider etwas schnell ab , da er auf dem gleichen Teller ( vorgewärmt) serviert wurde. Gebäude und Sanitär bräuchten Renovierungsarbeiten. Insgesamt ok.

Das Ambiente ist innen jetzt nicht so besonders gemütlich, aber dafür das Essen sehr lecker und der Service freundlich. Etwas mehr Variation beim indischen Essen und etwas weniger Pizza/Pasta fände ich gut.

The menu is a combination between Italian Pasta, Pizzas and Indian food. The Indian food is a transfer of Indian dishes to European tast. Unfortunately, nothing that we have eaten were close to an authentic Indian tast. We did not have tested the Italian Menu.

Essen okay, Service sehr unfreundlich, Freitag abend 21.45 Uhr wollten die MA schließen obwohl die offizielle Öffnungszeit 23 Uhr lautet, anschließend unfreundlich bedient und man kam sich überhaupt nicht willkommen vor, der Inhaber sollte dringend die MA im zwischenmenschlichen Umgang schulen. Ich war sehr enttäuscht 🙁.

We hadden ons verheugd op een heerlijke Indiase maaltijd zoals we vaker hebben gedaan op de eerste avond dat we aankwamen in een nieuwe vakantieplaats. Hoewel het interieur niet echt uitnodigend was en als enige gasten aanwezig waren zag de menukaart er goed uit met voldoende keuze. De Indiase gerechten die we hadden gekozen hadden niets te maken met gelijkgenoemde gerechten die wij eerder bij andere Indiase restaurants kregen voorgeschoteld. Het had meer weg van een soort rijst-ratatouile welke overgens niet slecht smaakte maar was niet bepaald een diner hoogtepunt wat we hadden verwacht. Bij mijn vriendin was het gerecht niet warm genoeg wat door de serveerster in twijvel werd getrokken. Uiteindelijk werd de maaltijd met enige tegenzin weer teruggebracht en werd nu wel genoeg opgewarmt. Het bezoek aan het toilet was overigens ook een dieptepunt. Er lag viezigheid op een verwarming, direct zichtbaar en blijkbaar nooit schoongemaakt. Kortom was het voor ons een grote teleurstelling en eigenlijk onbegrijpelijk dat dit restaurant zo veel sterren heeft gekregen..

Ambiente gefällt mir - nicht so überladen indisch sondern guter alter Kneipencharakter - Toller Platz zum draußen sitzen. Das indische Essen war sehr lecker, wie bei indischen Freunden zu Hause. Alles frisch und reichlich. Preise völlig angemessen. Service ist auch super freundlich . Absolut zu empfehlen!

Das Essen war wirklich sehr lecker und die Bedienen sehr zuvorkommend und sehr freundlich. Das Ambiente war nicht mein Geschmack, aber dennoch sehr empfehlenswert dort zu essen.

Wir waren heute zum Abendessen das ersten Mal hier. Von außen wirkt der Laden etwas heruntergekommen und eher wie eine Kneipe aber es ist tatsächlich ein schickes und echt gutes Restaurant. Wir hatten Butter Chicken und Masala Chicken, zur Vorspeise Knoblauch Nan. Alles super lecker, gute Portionsgröße und humane Preise. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Wir ziehen einen Stern ab, weil die Toilette leider unsauber war, ich würde mich freuen wenn ich beim nächsten Besuch 5 Sterne geben kann :)

Service très long pour servir des plats simples à préparer et menu très limité et des recettes réinventée...le restaurant indien le moins indien dans lequel j'ai mangé et plutôt cher pour le niveau. Reponse: Bonjour, Je ne suis pas un spécialiste de la cuisine indienne mais j'ai comparé le service à toutes les autres innombrables expériences que j'ai eu dans un restaurant indien! J'ai mangé dans pleins d'endroits ou la cuisine ( touts pays confondus) se faisait sur le moment et jamais ça a pris plus d'une heure! De plus je ne suis pas une personne difficile mais qui s'adapte facilement... De plus je crois que vous vous confondez de client car je n'ai jamais demandé du gluten-free! Seul point positive, la sympathie et gentillesse des serveuses. Cordialement

Wir waren vor 1 Woche da. Portionen sind sehr klein aber schmackhaft. Gratis Brot oder kleine Vorspeise gibt es nicht. Preis- Leistung nicht besonders. Das war unser letzter Besuch

Hervorragendes, vor allem authentisches indisches Essen. Insbesondere auch für Vegetarier geeignet. Wenn dieses Restaurant in der Innenstadt wäre und ein moderneres Ambiente hätte, würde es wahrscheinlich überlaufen werden - meiner Meinung nach echt ein Geheimtipp. Das gute daran ist aber, dass man immer eine entspannte ruhige Atmosphäre hat. Nur die Klos sind echt zu sehr in die Jahre gekommen.

Waren vor einer Woche dort Essen. Meinem Freund hat die Pizza Picante sehr gut geschmeckt. Seiner Meinung einer der besten Pizzen die er gegessen hat. Ich hatte ein sehr leckes Butter Chicken. Man schmeckt einfach dass es frisch zubereitet worden ist. Man kann auch einen Schärfegrad angeben. Viel Auswahl an vegetarischem Essen. Und wenn nicht kann man auch fragen ob sie bestimmte Gerichte veggi machen , wirklich toll ! Ich komme aufjedenfall wieder. Auch das Personal ist aufmerksam und zuvorkommend.

Ich komme sehr gerne zum Mittagstisch. Bei einem Mittagessen von 8,50 kann wirklich nichts sagen ! Das indische Essen würde ich jedem weiter empfehlen. Wer es gerne scharf indisch mag , darf es erwähnen und wird auf den Wunsch zubereitet. Es wird auf jeden Wunsch, soweit möglich eingegangen, daran merkt man dass das Essen frisch zubereitet wird. Das Essen ist lecker, die Auswahl groß. Man wird sehr freundlich empfangen und auf die Kundenwünsche wird eingegangen. Das Ambiente bietet einen gemütlichen, begrünten Innenhof. Ich kann es empfehlen!

Ideaal voor als je eens wat anders wil dan de doorsnee Duitse kost. Veel groenten en veel keuze voor vegetariërs, naast gerechten met kip en vis. De chicken massale is heerlijk. Leuke binnentuin.

Das Essen ist immer lecker, sowohl die indischen als auch die italienischen Gerichte überzeugen geschmacklich sehr. Obwohl die beiden Köche auf indische Küche spezialisiert sind, schmeckt die Pizza besser als bei manchem Italiener. Das Restaurant hat einen der schönsten Biergärten der Stadt und bietet im Sommer die perfekt Gelegenheit für eine Abkühlung im Schatten. Der Service ist professionell und sehr freundlich.

Nach all den guten Bewertungen wollte ich mich selbst vergewissern ob diese gerechtfertigt sind und ich muss sagen: Ja! Schon beim Hereinkommen kamen mir die Düfte der indischen Küche entgegen und ich erhielt einen schönen Platz am Fenster. Das Lokal ist einfach und gemütlich eingerichtet und verfügt über (gezählte) 40 Plätze. Seht nette Bedienung und wer glaubt das Essen ist in 1-2 Minuten am Tisch der irrt. Ich durfte etwas über 15 Minuten auf mein Essen warten, das dann aber sehr heiß und frisch zubereitet an meinen Tisch kam – das findet man heutzutage, wo alles vorgekocht und Convenience ist kaum noch – ein klares Lob! Wenn man nichts anderes bestellt erhält man den mittleren Schärfegrad, der gut gewählt ist und nicht zu scharf ist, wer es heftiger möchte muss es nur sagen. Es gibt auch eine wechselnde Mittagskarte mit sehr günstigen Preisen, ob für inische Küche oder auch für Pizza. Einziger Kritikpunkt den ich habe, dass das überbackene Kartoffelgericht „Alur Dum“ zwar sehr köstlich, aber definitiv zu wenig war. Hier hätte ich mir ein paar Kartoffelstücke mehr im Essen gewünscht. PS.: Unbedingt für Wochenende Abends vorher reservieren!

Wir kannten das Lokal noch als Studentenkneipe "Schwach und Sinn", von daher waren wir gespannt, was sich mittlerweile daraus entwickelt hat. Vom Ambiente ist sich das Lokal treu geblieben, leicht alternativ, mit neuem, jungem Team. Auf der Speisekarte einige indische Gerichte und Pizza.....nun ja, die Mischung ist zunächst einmal gewöhnungsbedürftig. Und ein Chicken Curry Masala mit Spiegelei und Käse auf der Speisekarte noch viel mehr......... Wir entschieden uns für (vegetarische) indische Gerichte, die aber tatsächlich sehr lecker und mit wirklich frischen Zutaten zubereitet waren. Auch die Pizza am Nebentisch sah sehr lecker aus. Alles in allem ein Besuch wert.

The girl that was serving us was lovely and made an effort to ask questions to the kitchen for special amendments. However when the food arrived, the pakora was tasting quite blend and the chicken of our chicken dishes was extremely dry and tough.

Wir hatten reserviert und als wir das Restaurant betraten wurden wir erstmal ignoriert, obwohl die beiden anwesenden Mitarbeiterinnen gerade nichts zu tun hatten. Das Restaurant selbst ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen und nicht wirklich liebevoll oder ansprechend eingerichtet, gleiches gilt für den Innenhof, der durchaus absolutes Potenzial hätte, ein wunderschöner Platz zum Essen zu sein. Das Essen selbst ist ok, nicht mehr und nicht weniger. Wir waren uns einig, dass wir das qualitativ so auch selbst hinbekommen hätten. Der Service war freundlich aber weder sonderlich aufmerksam (Getränke nachbestellen war nur nach mehrmaligem auf uns aufmerksam machen möglich) noch schnell (wir fragten nach der Karte und warteten 10 Minuten darauf).

Sie bestellen Gericht Nr. 43, gegrillte Scampi, acht Stück, Größe 8/12 er. Echte Scampi in dieser Größe kosten im Grosshandel ca. 2,50 € das Stück. Kann sich jeder ausrechnen, ha ha.

Alle bisher gekostet Speisen lecker und für jeden etwas zu finden. Günstide Tagesmenüs in vegan oder mit Fleisch. Diese Portionen sind zwar etwas kleiner aber man wird gut satt und der günstige Preis ist super! Die Speisen der Speisekarte sind zwar nicht als super günstig zu betrachten; aber die Auswahl ist reichhaltig und ob indische Gerichte, Pasta oder Steak alles supertolle Geschmacksfreudenund zuletzt noch die leckeren Nachtisch. Ob to go oder im Lokal oder besonders in der wärmeren Jahreszeit im kleinen Biergarten. Kommt her,testet und genießt!!!!@⁸0

Food was great and we didnt have a long wait. They only accepted cash when we were there, had a sign on the door. it has more of a pub feel than an Indian restaurant and my boyfriend was disappointed there was no lamb on the menu but we both enjoyed the chicken masala and garlic naan.

Das Ambiente ist einfach gehalten aber nicht ungemütlich. Der Service war super freundlich und sehr zuvorkommend. Und auch das Essen hat gestimmt. Wir hatten das naan Brot vorweg, was uns völlig überzeugen konnte und sehr lecker war. Die Hauptgerichte (wir hatten uns für vegetarisches massala entschieden) waren jetzt keine kulinarische Höchstleistung aber durch und durch solide. Und preis Leistung ist wirklich mehr als angemessen.
