I got it for the first time today. Great kebab! The bread is crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. The meat is really flavorful and juicy. The sauce isn't standard - it's really good. The vegetables are fresh. Could have been a bit fuller for €8.00. It has the potential to be my favorite in the Weingarten/Grötzingen area.

Good quality is convincing. We'll be back soon.

One of the best kebab shops in Karlsruhe! The meat is warm, fresh, and crispy, you're served at your table, and they even offer long drinks. Seating is available both inside and outside on Grötzingen's market square. It almost has a beer garden feel! During Carnival or other events in Grötzingen, they offer street sales to accommodate the large crowds. If you're looking for a good kebab, you've come to the right place!

Abu's shop is very centrally located on Rathausplatz. We love coming here because we always get friendly and quick service, not just when we want to take something home. Hopefully it stays that way for a long time.

Totally surprising: one of the best pizzas in a long time! At first glance, the restaurant looks like a simple kebab shop, and the menu is actually far too extensive. But then the surprise: we were served very friendly outside at the town hall square - and the pizza was simply excellent, really fresh and made with a lot of love. You can immediately tell that the owners are proud of their small restaurant. The whole experience was pleasant and uncomplicated. If I'm in Grötzingen again, I'll definitely come back - especially because of the pizza!

Has improved a lot in the last few years! Bread is finally freshly baked. Salads are fresh and crunchy! For me, the decisive factor is the vegan sauce. I've avoided using sauce in kebabs for years because of lactose intolerance, and now finally eating kebabs with delicious sauce again is simply brilliant!

Very friendly staff and great pizza. It's always good there. Above all, there is always salad with the pizza calzone. This doesn't actually exist anywhere else. And putting sauce on the salad is no problem either. The salad dressing also tastes very good.

You feel at home here; the pizza is excellent. Even after reheating, everything is still fresh, with no hard crust! The staff is always very friendly and helpful. I've known the boss for many years; he's become a dear friend. So, off to Grötzingen.

Since we have been living in Grötzingen, we have regularly visited Abu and his family, who have now also become part of our family. The extraordinary friendliness and humor of the entire team make every visit special. In summer we often enjoy cozy evenings on the town hall square. Abu and his team are indispensable here, as you can always meet neighbors and have nice conversations, making this an indispensable meeting place for the Grötzingers. The pizza, the kebab variations, the yufka and also the pasta dishes are always delicious and freshly prepared. We can highly recommend everything and are already looking forward to our next visit.

Always freshly prepared, ingredients are also fresh, pide and kebab are good and tasty. A little more meat in the kebab would be good. Definitely a recommendation for quick hunger.

Very nice kebab shop in the middle of the beautiful Grotzingen market square. All the employees are always nice and, despite the large crowds, things usually go very quickly. You can also arrange something in advance for birthdays or larger occasions and then pick it up.

Unfortunately, my Yufka's bread wasn't that good at all. Very tough, unfortunately not homemade. The meat wasn't a hit either. Very good: there is a vegan kebab with vegan kebab sauce. This is really great!

Update: Massengeschäft mittlerweile und wird immer teurer - die Inflation ist hier vorgeschoben für Preiserhöhungen, die teilweise nicht mal auf der Karte stehen. Schade, früher war es persönlicher und fairer bepreist. Guter Döner mit echt tollem Sitzbereich im Sommer auf dem Rathausplatz. Gibt wohl kaum einen Dönerladen bei dem man so cool sitzen kann und dazu noch Blues gespielt wird! Location 5 Sterne, Döner 4 Sterne da (guter) Standard. Salat war allerdings echt klein und zu teuer.

Freundlicher Service, nette Sitzmöglichkeit, gutes Essen. Zu Empfehlen wenn man Yufka nicht nur als FastFood genießen möchte. Hier gibt es z.b. auch Hugo oder Aperol Sprizz.

A good combination of Imbiss and restaurant. The atmosphere and the service is like in a restaurant, the outside part is very nice. The prices and the food are like in an Imbiss. I would recommend it to anyone who gget hungry during a bike trip or after a good swim in the nearby lake.

Ganz toller Chef und Mitarbeiter dort. Immer freundlich und das Essen ist sehr lecker, frisch zubereitet und super schnell fertig. Selbst wenn es voll ist spürt man als Gast den "Stress" hinter der Theke nicht. Wir wohnen seit 3 Jahren nicht mehr in Grötzingen, aber finden den Weg trotzdem noch immer gerne dorthin, auch wenn es leider nicht mehr sooft ist.

Es gibt eine große Auswahl an Gerichten, z.B. Döner, Yufka, Pide, Pizza. Alles sehr lecker. Und das Beste: sogar sehr viele vegane Optionen!

Gemüse - Döner, Nummer 5 = mit gegrilltem Gemüse und Dönerfleisch?? WOW, da waren dann Karottenschnipsel, Erbsen, etc aus der TK-Tüte drin, dazu Weiß- und Rotkraut, Zwiebel wie bei normalen Döner. Leider also ganz OHNE Döner Fleisch und ganz ohne GEGRILLTES Gemüse. Als Veggie-Döner vielleicht nicht schlecht, aber nicht was ich wollte und nicht was ich bezahlt habe. Und als ich reklamierte hieß es, da steht "nur Gemüse". Abgesehen davon, dass es nicht so bestellt wurde - dann ist immer noch NICHTS gegrillt. Und warum kostet es dann genau so viel wie mit Fleisch? Nicht mehr wieder....

Bei dem Abu bekommst du alles gute von der türkischen Küche. Immer wieder kommen wir gerne hier zusammen mit Freunden oder auch als Paar. Auch am Rathausplatz wird hier serviert und verzerrt. Gute Stimmung und freundliches Personal macht dein Besuch tip top!

Die besten Döner und Yufka gibt es hier, immer mit freundlicher Bedienung. Alle Wünsche werden erfüllt, klein, groß, mit Fleisch, ohne Fleisch, mit Soße, ohne Soße... Das Fladenbrot wird immer frisch hergestellt, die Salate sind immer knackig frisch... Ansonsten gibt es ein großes Angebot an Pizzen, Falafel, ... und zur wärmeren Jahreszeit gibt es Außenbewirtung auf dem Rathausplatz, direkt vor Grötzingens schönem Fachwerkrathaus.

I tried something new here: Pizza. It was neither American nor Italian style. The think, fluffy rim resembled an American pizza; the thin, tasty middle resembled an Italian pizza, except that it was soft and easy to cut rather than crisp. Some would maybe call that indeterminate style a defect, but i will call it an original style because it was as delicious as unusual. The most important strength was the quality and abundance of toppings. I had various vegetables, but they also serve pizza with freshly prepared Döner meat. So if you opt for pizza here, you should probably go for one that includes various toppings and postpone getting a pizza like "Margherita" or "Quattro Formaggi" until you get to a real Italian restaurant.

Abu's Pizza- and Kebab-House is located in the centre of Grötzingen, a traditional medieval village on the eastern fringes of the city of Karlsruhe. As there are only a few very small shops nearby, and few sights except some ancient rustic houses and an annual Alemannic carnival festival, people not living in Grötzingen almost never come here, so Abu serves almost exclusively local customers. Many know him and his team, and they know many of the locals, but he's also very welcoming towards strangers who lose their way and err into Grötzingen. Of course, such a shop in such a place only works when it delivers consistent, good quality. And that's what Abu does. I have eaten there many times during the last several years and was never disappointed.
