The food is great, but unfortunately, he's very unfriendly. I wanted to show him what kind of salad I'd like, I didn't touch anything, and suddenly he started yelling at me. That's not okay, unfortunately.

Yesterday I was visiting Karlsruhe and, based on a recommendation, I got a doner kebab. It was the best I've ever eaten. There was so much choice in terms of how you wanted to customize your kebab, and it was a pure taste experience. The owners of the shop were relaxed and friendly despite the large number of customers. You couldn't tell they were stressed. In the future, I'll know where to get my doner kebab when I'm in Karlsruhe. Thank you so much!

We had a döner experience that really impressed us with its flavor! The consistency of the meat, the spice ratio and the cooking skill were just right. Both the portions were filling and the presentation was very meticulous. The service team was also very friendly and attentive. We had not eaten such quality döner for a long time. I wouldn't come again. The kebab is overpriced. You don't even get a world-class kebab or a large kebab for that. The portions are smaller than usual, and the taste is only average. The staff is also unfriendly. They pulled a face because I asked for extra napkins. One of the thin restaurant napkins is far too little for a kebab, because you have to wipe your mouth several times.

I submitted a query about allergens via the contact form. It went completely unanswered. In my opinion, that's a no-go these days. What a shame.

I was visiting Karlsruhe and happened to see KEBABI - there was a huge queue in front of it. Since I was looking for lunch, I thought it might be worth checking out. After waiting for about 30 minutes, I finally got my turn. Unfortunately the lady at the counter was very unfriendly - I understand that there is a lot going on there and you can be stressed, but with so many customers and the prices you should still be treated with a certain amount of respect. She only packed the absolute minimum of salad and extras into the kebab. When I asked for a little more sauce at the end it was refused - which I honestly found disappointing. I thought to myself, maybe the kebab tastes great anyway. Yes, the bread was indeed tasty, but without sauce and almost only meat, the whole thing was pretty dry. So the taste is just slightly above average. My conclusion: For new customers – please don’t wait 30 minutes in line. There are many other good options to eat in Karlsruhe. Unfortunately, KEBABI did not meet my expectations.

But for this one kebab, it makes your day better. The bread? Freshly baked, fluffy, soft – simply perfect. The meat? 100% veal, juicy, full of flavor, grilled to perfection. Plus crunchy fresh vegetables, grilled vegetables and sauces that tie everything together. This is not a normal kebab - this is love in bread. I've tried many - but this was by far the best kebab in all of Germany.

After waiting in line for half an hour, I went in and placed my order. When I wanted to pay, I was told that card payment was not possible. When I said I didn't have any cash, I was very rudely told to go to the bank and withdraw the money there. Very rude and pushy people. I became very angry. Nowhere in the store was there any indication that card payment was not possible. Or I didn't see it. It was a complete disappointment.

Unfortunately, I drove from about 40 km and the shop was closed, even though it said on the internet that it was open. Drove for free and ended up stuck in a traffic jam with an empty stomach!!! Would be nice to see an update on the website as to when the Landen is not open!!

I can understand that you want to make as much money as possible in as small an area as possible, but here it seems excessive. Even in a mini Burger King I feel more comfortable. Chef, relaxed, in a good mood, super friendly. In the international queue I asked whether you can pay by card here, apparently yes. No at the checkout, cash only. Zero clues while standing in the queue: 3 minus points. Ambiance: only a few standing rooms in the restaurant, very narrow, volume is still ok. At the back exit there are tables and chairs outside, a bit of a bazaar feeling. Bread: freshly baked, but no aroma & taste, like industrial cotton bread. No comparison to delicious fresh, crispy flatbread. Meat: I looked at it a few times later and there was still red calf blood running along it when I cut it down, so medium rare, not Ützelbrütz frozen goods, freshly handcrafted. Outstanding. But it doesn't really taste seasoned, marinated, or classic like Istanbul Kebap. Strange. Sauces are hardly seasoned. And it is only applied very sparingly to the bread, far too little. Tips: Order chickpeas & bulgur & mushrooms = extra proteins. The other salads also help to fill you up. You should bring sauce and hot Pul Biber spice with you if you want it to taste halfway. So open the burger at the table and season it...
