We ate here on the way to the North Sea. It was fantastic with all 5 of us. Regardless of whether it was fish or meat, the recommendation really couldn't be better. Also the salad at the buffet. The salad dressing is super delicious. It's a shame we live so far away 🥹 But you always see each other twice 🤭

We took part in the barbecue buffet, the weather was great, so there was a lot going on. We were led table by table to the buffet, which was a good idea to limit the rush, but the buffet was still often empty. Either too many guests or too few staff. We were here from the VDK to have a barbecue, unfortunately the weather didn't cooperate again and it rained in the afternoon. That's why our event had to be held indoors. The food was 😋 delicious and the dessert was even more so. We were greeted very warmly and the staff were very friendly and helpful. It was my first time here, but I'd love to come back. But I had to deduct one star 🌟 because when we asked if you had any herbal schnapps, we got a no.

So the food was very, very good but the prices...... 4€ for 0.2l of cola, 4€ for 0.2l of water, beer 0.2l 2.50€😂😂😂 So it really couldn't be more outrageous. The waitresses forgot drinks but already took money. When I wanted to get my drinks myself I was initially told: actually you get your drinks first and then pay. I finally got my drinks. So service would have earned 0 stars.

The service was very good, the food was delicious. The sanitary facilities are very easy to reach for people with walking difficulties.

Eating asparagus was great. We had a small complaint that was addressed immediately. Super friendly service. Gladly again.

We went there to play swing golf. We were on site shortly after 11 a.m. We then set off again after a certain waiting time because no one who was there thought to pay attention to us or anything like that, and we couldn't ask because we weren't even asked because no one even stopped.

We were there on Whit Monday to eat spagel. Everything was perfect all round. The outside terrace is cozy, covered and has comfortable garden furniture. The entire team was friendly, quick and attentive. The food was very tasty, way too much and the price was absolutely right. We can give five ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ in good conscience.

We celebrated our wedding at the Gristeder Hof to Horn, were completely thrilled and can only recommend the location and the concept. We were always able to ask questions and all questions were always answered quickly, so that it was a wedding exactly as we wanted it. The service staff were very attentive, quick and friendly and the food was excellent. We received so much feedback from our guests about our celebration because everything was just right. Our little ones got tired, so the nice staff brought us blankets and a pillow so that the little ones could take a short rest. We would use the Gristeder Hof again at any time and would recommend it at any time. Many thanks to the entire team for helping to make May 18th an unforgettable evening for us! We would give out more stars if it were possible.

Delicious food! 👍 Opening times and kitchen times on the homepage, very exemplary! The photo on the homepage of the beer garden is very misleading. In our opinion, the former charm of the beer garden has been lost; A very darkening "sun sail" that completely surrounds the beer garden means you can no longer see the sky, what a shame!

Top tip for a restaurant in Ammerland. One of the few authentic restaurants in the region. For small and large groups. Very friendly staff and good regional food. Highly Recommended.

It wasn't our first time there and we were never disappointed. The price level is more than okay. Plus a good selection of food and drinks with very attentive and friendly service and a nice ambience.

Food is thrown away rather than given to the guest Today we had 3x the “all you can eat” spare rips and chicken wings. These were served at the table (platter), there weren't enough guests in the house for a buffet. So far okay. We couldn't finish the first plate and asked if we could take the rest of the food that was on our table with us. The first waiter told us that wasn't possible. After some “drilling” it was said that the team would get the food after work. The second waiter told us that the dog gets the chicken and the spare rips go in the trash. That's just the way it is. In times of sustainability and food waste, this is absurd for us. We didn't order anything that we didn't eat or wanted something from a buffet. We wanted to take food with us that would be thrown away and not withheld or allowed to be served to any other guest. Even if it is all you can eat, it is food that was served to us directly at the table and should not be given out to other guests. Otherwise, the two young waiters were very helpful and friendly. The table for four was a bit tight. The fourth person had their food returned, something else from the menu was served without any problem and the boss apologized for the quality of the goods. It can happen, no problem. But unfortunately the new food wasn't good either. We don't have to go there again so quickly, we spend a lot of money on food that's "okay" - there are better alternatives

Buffet at Christmas was very disappointing. There weren't even dumplings or schnitzel for the children. Food was good, not great, but too expensive. Not even card payment was possible. There was no alleged information about this. The lady in charge of supervision and cashiers tried very hard to remain friendly, but left a rather rude, cheeky and overwhelmed impression. That means: fobbing off a lot of people in a small space for a lot of money. 🙁

Good morning, At some point I reserved a table for 14 people in the restaurant for the Christmas buffet without knowing the exact number of people. At some point it was clarified within the family who was coming with me and the reservation was changed again to exactly 13 people plus a small child under the age of 3. About 3-4 weeks before, my mother-in-law called the restaurant again and canceled 3 people. She spoke to a woman, who exactly - I have no idea. When we arrived, my brother-in-law held the door open for our older family members. Since these people are a little slower, it took a while. The manager of the restaurant stood at the counter and shouted in a very unfriendly tone, “The door is closing”. Well, you could say that in a friendlier way, especially at Christmas. Then my sister-in-law followed with a small puppy. Immediately the boss hissed again in a very, very unfriendly manner: "Dogs are not allowed today - they have to stay outside". It was never a problem in the restaurant that dogs weren't allowed. There was nothing to the contrary on the website. We had a place on the corner of the wall - the dog would have stayed very quiet in the corner but ok, house rules and I can understand it at a big event, but the sound makes the music. My brother-in-law and sister-in-law went home with the dog and didn't come back either. The table was set for 13 people plus a small child. A waitress came the first time and asked if we were complete, which I replied in the affirmative and said that two people had gone home because dogs were not allowed. Drinks were included. Then at some point the starter soup came. Then a while later the waiter came back and asked again whether there were all of us and how many people were reserved. I said for 13 people and a small child and that my mother-in-law deregistered three people 3-4 weeks ago. The waiter left and came back and said I should please come to the front of the counter. As soon as we got there, the manager of the house hissed at me in a tone that we hadn't signed off and it couldn't be that my mother-in-law had called. This lady's tone was very aggressive and loud, and I asked her several times to calm down because it was Christmas and what was going to happen here. She didn't want to calm down and kept insisting that no one had called her and that the three people had been deregistered. I also told her that I have absolutely no interest in picking fights and creating a bad mood here at Christmas and that I'm not interested in the €30 per person either. Her behavior was simply not worthy of a hostess. I have almost 30 years of experience in the catering industry myself, my father had his own restaurant business. But I would never have allowed myself to treat customers like that. The price was calculated for all booked people. My mother-in-law asked for sweeping packages for paid people and received 4 cardboard bowls to fill. I would have left these but my cousin filled the 4 bowls for his student shared apartment. My uncle invited us and paid for everything without any problem. There was no concession. I can absolutely understand charging the price for the two people who left because of the puppy, but not being responsible for the mistakes of your own employees and accusing my mother-in-law of lying is an absolute NO-GO. Especially since we have been regular customers for 3 years. We celebrated my son's baptism there and had breakfast buffets there several times for family birthdays. I've always eaten there with friends. I brought my company Christmas party there last year and the Gristeder Hof was repeatedly praised and recommended everywhere. But the boss's behavior is not acceptable at all and it was the last time I was there and everyone gets to hear that.

Wir waren familiär mit acht Personen in diesem Lokal. Ganz sicher nicht zum letzten Mal. Selten kommt es in diesem Zusammentreffen vor, dass alle sich zufrieden zeigen. Doch hier war es mal so. Service, Auswahl, Ambiente, Essen, Getränke, Aufmerksamkeit, Freundlichkeit, Gemütlichkeit. Alles perfekt. Und preislich im Vergleich zu anderen ähnlichen Häusern ebenfalls sehr positiv. Gegessen und getrunken haben wir nach Karte. Angeboten werden jedoch auch saisonale Highlights. Ich bin sehr froh, dieses Lokal für unsere kleine Familienfeier ausgewählt zu haben. Die Leidenschaft für ihr Haus und ihre Arbeit ist jederzeit zu spüren. Vielen Dank.

Wir haben hier zunächst als Gruppe Swingolf gespielt, und dann anschließend auf der Restaurantterrasse sehr lecker diverses Gegrilltes mit Beilagen gegessen. Die Qualität vom Fleisch war super und reichlich. Die Mitarbeiter waren aufmerksam und flott.

Mein Mann und ich haben unsere Hochzeit im Gristeder Hof feiern dürfen. Das BBQ Buffet war grandios, der Service super. Die Mitarbeiter/innen haben sich die Getränke einzelner Gäste gemerkt und immer für Nachschub gesorgt 😉 Das ganze Team ist super entspannt und man wusste von Anfang an, dass man sich als Brautpaar keine Gedanken machen muss, weil es garantiert top läuft ! Wir würden die Location immer wieder empfehlen !

Sehr lecker. Gute Auswahl der Speisekarte. Angenehm. Große Portionen. Dörfliches Ambiente. Gemischt aus Stammkunden und Touristen. Und alle werden gleich höflich bedient. Das gefällt mir am meisten. Ich komme wieder.

Wir waren zu viert hier zum Spargelessen. Nachdem es vorab eine leckere Spargelcremesuppe mit reichlich Spargel gab, folgte dann der Spargel mit Schnitzel und Schinken. Einfach Superspargel, der nicht so weich und verkocht war - einfach auf den Punkt gegart und sehr reichlich. Sehr aufmerksames, schnelles und freundliches Personal, es hat alles gestimmt. Sehr zu empfehlen.

Waren da zum Spargel Essen der sehr zu empfehlen ist. Man sollte vielleicht einen Platz vorbestellen da es schon recht voll war. Es ist jede Menge Personal da, fast keine Wartezeit und alle sehr freundlich.

Wir haben dort nach der standesamtlichen Trauung unserer Tochter und Schwiegersohn einen sehr schönen Nachmittag verbracht. Waren begeistert,alles so gemütlich,eine tolle Atmosphäre. Das Essen ist auch sehr zu empfehlen. Die Spargelcremesuppe,ein Gedicht 😋 und was danach serviert wurde, alles sehr lecker und schön angerichtet. Wir werden auf jeden Fall wieder einkehren.

Wir waren in den Sommermonaten dort. An verschiedenen Tagen gegessen, Kaffee getrunken u.a. Draußen im Innenhof gefiel es uns sehr gut. Eine tolle Atmosphäre. Die Bedienung Top. Die Chefin sehr sehr nett. Wir können dieses Restaurant nur empfehlen.

Warum haben wir das Lokal erst am letzten Abend entdeckt? Schade! Das Atmosphäre war gemütlich, das Essen superlecker, und die Bedienung bodenständig und nett.

Wir waren am vergangen Samstagabend dort zum Enten-Essen. Leider war dies ein kompletter Reinfall. Die Ente war zwar vom Garpunkt in Ordnung, aber die Haut war labberig, der Rotkohl tot-gekocht, die Kroketten aus der Tiefkühltruhe. Aber am schlimmsten war die Sauce: Ohne jegliche Gewürze, die zu einer Ente gehören und sie bestand zum größten Teil aus Mehl oder Mondamin.Außerdem konnten wir wegen Barzahlung unseren Gutschein nicht einlösen. Das Positivste an diesem Abend war die sehr freundliche Chefin, die selbst der Meinung war, dass alles etwas "geschmacksneutral" war.

Viel versprochen - wenig gehalten! Wir hatten uns nach dem Pächterwechsel im Herbst 2018 etwas mehr erwartet - leider stimmte von Anfang an weder die Chemie noch Qualität und Ambiente auf unseren Clubabenden. Die Chefin geht mit Ihrer pampigen Art gar nicht - wir sind noch nie als Gäste in einem Speiselokal so rotzfrech behandelt worden! Küchenchef Andre ist mit viel Engagement dabei, leider überwiegt hier aber die Convenience Küche :-( Schade!

Wir sind nach einer Kohlfahrt dort eingekehrt und waren begeistert über den tollen Empfang - familiäres Flair- supernettes personal und die Organisation war einmalig (!) abgerundet durch Grünkohl vom Feinsten hat sich diese Gastronomie einen super Daumen hoch verdient 👍👍👍

Wir haben hier mit Freunden einen sehr netten Abend in vortrefflicher Atmosphäre genossen. Die Küche war hervorragend und wir wurden erstklassig bedient. Nach dem Pächterwechsel Anfang Oktober 18 wird sich dieses Haus sicherlich zu einem richtigen Geheimtipp für Genießer entwickelt. Wir freuen uns schon auf das nächste Mal!!

Eigentlich mehr ein Gesellschaftshaus, weniger ein Restaurant mit Stil. Essen war ok, wenn sich die Bratkartoffeln und die Bohnen angebrannt und das Fleisch Furztrocken war. Bedienung war nett und aufmerksam.

Wir hatten uns angemeldet, netter Tisch, sehr freundliche und aufmerksame Bedienung. Getränke kamen sehr zügig, gute Beratung zum Weinangebot - alles Bestens. Da wir die ersten angekommenen Gäste waren, durften wir auch das Buffet eröffnen, was wir als sehr nett und "gerecht" empfanden. Gute und frisch selbst gemachte Salate und Gemüse. Das Fleisch - bedingt durch die kühle Witterung draußen - nur lauwarm, besserte sich dann im Laufe des Abends. Sehr zuvorkommender Service beim Nachlegen des gegrillten Fleisches und der Würste. Leckeres Bier, guter Wein. Wir waren insgesamt sehr zufrieden. Tipp: der zum Lokal gehörende Swin-Golfplatz macht einen sehr gepflegten Eindruck, für 9,50€ p. P. kann man sich dort bei schönem Wetter sicherlich gut die Zeit vertreiben.

Dienstag Abend : vorweg anregend lustige Gurken kalt Schale in Espresso Tasse, leckere Salate mit / ohne Käse ,etwas wenig gewürzte Suppe, Zander frisch mit guter Senf Soße ,zartes Matjesfilet mit etwas schweren Bratkartoffeln , geschmackvolle Hühnchenbrust mnit buntem Gemüse , feine Desserts nicht vergessen, großzügige Portionen zum Sattwerden , alle waren zufrieden! Angenehmer Service ,danke !

Wir waren zu einem Geburtstagsfrühstück eingeladen. Unsere Erwartung wurde übertroffen: draußen ein normaler Landgasthof waren wir allein schon von der Einrichtung angenehm überrascht. Stühle, Tische, Deko, einfach alles 👍🏻. Das Personal freundlich, das Essen lecker, was will man mehr.

...durften wir heute in gemütlicher 4er-Runde genießen. Moderne und trotzdem gemütlich, uriger Gasthof... Wir konnten wählen ob wir im hellen Wintergarten mit Blick in den Garten oder in der gemütlichen, rustikaleren "Kneipe" (was hier absolut positiv zu werten ist) sitzen möchten und wurden dann von den Servicekräften aufmerksam durch den Abend begleitet. Zur täglichen Speisekarte bekamen wir direkt die Tagesempfehlung. Wir wählten gemischt (Spargelgericht, Ratsherrn Teller und Rotbarbe/Tageskarte). Auf Fragen zur Herkunft vor allem zum Gemüse wurde uns erzählt, dass alles was saisonal möglich sei vom benachbarten Hof käme... Tolles Konzept. Genauso frisch und lecker schmeckte uns unser Essen dann auch. Wirklich klasse, danke für den schönen Abend voller Gastlichkeit!
