Pasta was perfectly al-dente. Staff catered to my language immediately, service was quick, and the view across the river is tremendous. I would come again.

Great experience ALL down to a waiter named Rico! 👌 I have visited this restaurant twice in the past month. Both times, despite the restaurant being incredibly busy and seemingly short-staffed in the kitchen, Rico has made the evening unforgettable. He’s been polite, professional, and truly passionate about his job, handling multiple tables with ease. His warm service is the reason we keep coming back. While the kitchen can sometimes take longer than expected, the food is always worth the wait, and Rico’s exceptional care makes you forget about the wait. Thank you, Rico! Ridiculously rude staff in the restaurant. After having waited over 15 minutes and some ignored waiving to order a first drink, someone finally came. I pointed out that over 15 minutes is a long wait before a waiter asks what to drink. The waiter replied somewhat stressed that it was busy and then literally: “that in this restaurant the client is not king”. He said it with a very poor body posture with a clear message, so after having overcome some perplexity I left…. This was a first and last time at Hyatt cologne

Meine Frau und ich haben uns das Grissini bewusst für den letzten Abend in Köln ausgesucht - nachdem wir es zwei Tage zuvor auf zwei Drinks schon ausprobiert hatten. Wir hatten einen hervorragenden Platz mit Blick auf Dom und Hohenzollernbrücke, Ambiente passte zum Abschiednehmen, und wir wollten bewusst nichts Deftiges aus der Kölner Küche... Was wir wählten: Tartar zur Vorspeise, Trüffelnudeln als Hauptgericht, dazu einen wunderbaren Negroamaro, Tiramisu zur Nachspeise - Klassiker, natürlich, und da zeigt sich besonders, ob jemand kochen kann. Obendrauf: Sehr zuvorkommender Service. Wir können das Grissini nur empfehlen.

Wir hatten uns sehr darauf gefreut, unser Abendessen im besagten Restaurant direkt am Rheinufer in Köln zu genießen, besonders nach einem angenehmen Spaziergang vom Kölner Dom aus. Leider wurden unsere Erwartungen hinsichtlich des Services nicht erfüllt. Bei unserer Ankunft baten wir darum, einen der freien Tische direkt am Wasser zu bekommen, wurden jedoch von einem sehr herablassenden Kellner in eine Ecke des Außenbereichs verwiesen, obwohl direkt am Fluss noch Plätze frei waren. Als wir nachfragten, ob wir vielleicht doch an einem der Tische am Wasser sitzen dürften, da diese scheinbar nicht reserviert waren und wir auch nicht lange verweilen wollten, wandte sich der Kellner abrupt von uns ab, vermied jeden weiteren Blickkontakt und wies uns eher schroff an, uns dann doch selbst einen Platz zu suchen. Diese unerfreuliche Behandlung führte dazu, dass wir uns entschieden, das Restaurant zu verlassen, ohne etwas zu bestellen. Es ist schade, dass der Service nicht dem wunderschönen Standort des Restaurants gerecht wird. Wir hoffen, dass dies ein einmaliger Vorfall war und dass das Management Maßnahmen ergreift, um sicherzustellen, dass zukünftige Gäste eine angenehmere Erfahrung machen können.

Toller Italiener, sehr leckeres Essen und sehr freundliche Bedienung. Der absolute Pluspunkt ist die Lage: direkt vor dem Hyatt mit Blick auf den Dom .

Outstanding location on the banks of the Rhine with a view of the cathedral. The food was ok. Neither more nor less. The pasta with fillet tips was a bit disappointing, the tiramisu was delicious. The service was friendly. No storms of enthusiasm but given the location and accessibility it is still a recommendation

On our first visit on Friday there were only two tables occupied. That's probably why we had 5 different waiters. Is not a problem. The salad with sheep's cheese was almost without salad. The sauce for the tea noodles didn't seem homemade and was very soggy. The truffles were plentiful but lacking in taste and aroma. The white bread with the salad was charged at €4. On the second day we wanted to sit outside again. It was drizzling at 24 degrees and there was no wind. A row of tables outside was dry under the canopy. Two tables were occupied and four were free. After the captain on duty told us mushy - like the previous day's sauce - that they can no longer serve outside, otherwise his employees would get sick, we left again. As a result, we discovered a Super Mexican restaurant around the corner that pampered us excellently throughout the weekend in a great atmosphere. Only 800 meters!

Very nice location with a great view of the Rhine and the cathedral. The food is very tasty, unfortunately the very friendly service lacks a bit of speed. Some guests prefer to get their drinks themselves instead of waiting for the waiter. The staff here should urgently be trained. Otherwise great.

We spontaneously went out to eat outside on a sunny day. The view was amazing as was the ambience. Our waiter was also very friendly and accommodating. Small improvement here: feel free to ask more often if everything is still OK or if you would like something more to drink. Our glasses were often empty. About the food: the taste was very tasty, it was freshly prepared and the pasta was prepared al dente. The only drawback: we actually had to wait over an hour for the food. All in all, we would definitely come back!

A great restaurant! The service is very friendly and accommodating, on a given occasion there is even a small gift from the house, great! The dishes are fresh and very carefully put together, the portion sizes are enough and the prices are definitely reasonable. The view and the location speak for themselves, if you want to end the evening after a city trip, for example, this is the right place for you :-)

Very chic, inexpensive and tasty restaurant in the heart of Cologne! Well located with a view of the cathedral. Spaghetti alla Amatriciana or with truffles are recommended here, among other things. Courteous service and the affogato at the end was a success.

The food here was excellent. We also had several vegetarian options to choose from and our server Rico was great as well. He was witty, funny prompt and gave us great recommendations as well. The tiramisu bruschetta, and risotto were the highlight of our meal. Would definitely recommend visiting.

I was on a city trip in Cologne and discovered the restaurant while walking. The pictures actually speak for themselves. The food was great and the staff was very friendly. Service 👍. Unfortunately I didn't have any cash and couldn't leave a tip. That's why I'm writing a review of this restaurant to calm my guilty conscience.🙈 As I said, the staff was very friendly and accommodating. When I'm back in Cologne I'll definitely be back!

I celebrated my birthday at this restaurant and absolutely loved it! The organization was perfect and the employees were exceptionally friendly and accommodating. I have rarely, if ever, experienced such excellent service. The food was simply sensational – incredibly tasty and of the best quality. The atmosphere in the restaurant was also great. The surprise with a piece of cake and a candle for my birthday was particularly nice, which made the celebration an unforgettable experience. I traveled from Osnabrück specifically to celebrate here and it was definitely worth it. From now on, this restaurant will be my go-to place for special occasions or simply for a nice evening of eating and drinking. I can only warmly recommend this elegant shop. Das Essen war gut, aber der Lärm war zu groß und die Person, die in der Küche die Teller abwusch, war sehr laut und ließ viele Utensilien mehrmals mit einem schrecklichen Geräusch auf den Boden fallen.

Eine Flasche Lugana Wein für 57€ obwohl diese im Einkauf 15-20€ kostet, ist es sehr hoch kalkuliert. Zusätzlich habe ich meine Portion Nudeln nicht aufgegessen, da es sehr salzig war. Ich habe der Servicekraft diese Information gegeben und sie wollte es an die Küche weiterleiten, leider kam weder eine Entschuldigung noch ein Entgegenkommen. Finde es für die anschließende Rechnung von 150€ und zusätzlichen Trinkgeld ein sehr schlechtes Verhalten von Restaurant, zumal war die Rechnung für nur 2 Personen. Hätte ich anders erwartet, hier zahlt man nur für die Lage! Schade - wir werden nicht wiederkommen.

Sehr gute italienische Küche- qualitativ hochwertige Speisen, sehr freundliches Personal und nette Backroundmusik...absolut empfehlenswert und immer wieder gerne. Alle Wünsche wurden berücksichtigt und zufrieden gestellt, der Preis ist für die gehobene Küche völlig angemessen.

Die Kellnerin ist völlig überfordert. Wir mussten Eis und Zitrone 3 mal bestellen das die Dame es immer wieder vergessen hatte. Bei der Abgabe des Eis wurde gesagt, man hat kein Eis mehr. Hallo in den USA ist Eis überall reichlich vorhanden so eine Anmerkung kann ich nicht dulden, da neben an, ist der Hyatt Hotel mit der Eismaschine!! Wir haben Kölsch bestellt und es wurde Weizen gebracht!! Im übrigen Kölsch trinkt man kalt und nicht Lauwarm! Wir haben eine vegetarische Vorspeise bestellt, serviert wurde Vorspeise mit Wurst!? Dann nach 15 Minuten ist die Vegetarische Vorspeise angekommen, Das Essen; wir haben 2 mal Pasta bestellt die waren warm und lecker. und 2 mal Flankensteak was total lauwarm war. Das sind unsre Anmerkungen!

Nice terrace, fantastic view but not everything is equally fresh. Pasta pesto is great. Seafood pasta flop. No clams, tough squid, mussels out of the shell. No fresh truffle with the truffle pasta. Price quality not great.

Impossible behavior by the waitress!!!!!. Only “special types of people” are preferred here!!!! We were practically shown out of the store with 8 people (normally dressed) in a very derogatory attitude and arrogance. We just wanted to have a drink and enjoy the beautiful view. Absolutely not recommended.!!!!!!

Today we visited this institution, simply spontaneously! And this aftertaste was incredible! Excellent service, the most delicious cuisine. Aperol, which is served in almost every establishment, is simply special here! Thank you! Good luck and loyal customers!!

Toller Ausblick, kleine aber gute Karte. Personal von Top bis Flop alles dabei. Preisniveau 5 Sterne Hyatt. Z.Bsp. Fl Wasser 9 Euro, Apero ab 10€, „At on „ Buratta zum Hauptgericht Penne, 10 € Aufpreis !! Aber Place to be, muss man dann mit leben.

The scenery is beautiful, the food is delicious, the pasta is very delicious, and the Cologne Cathedral on the other side can be seen from the window. Beef liver mushroom soup is highly recommended!

The restaurant seems to be very nice with decent food. Unfortunately the night we were there we were seated next to an extremely large convention group of 20 that was just very loud ( they were having a good time), but wasn’t great for a couples setting. Soups were delicious but Charcuterie platter could have been better. Salmon fish was excellent. The Hyatt is a nice place to stay,but you do have the opportunity of conventions, so maybe next time we would dine elsewhere.
