Grissini Restaurant & Terrasse in Köln

Wir waren mit 4 Personen zu einem frühen Abendessen hier, weil wir anschließend ins Musical wollten. Leider hat uns der Besuch etwas enttäuscht. Wir haben einen Salat als Vorspeise bestellt. Der Salat kam mit allen 4 Hauptgerichten zur gleichen Zeit. Am Salat war so gut wie kein Dressing dran, die Salatblätter waren trocken. Ein Hauptgericht waren Pasta Amatriciana. Leider war der Guanciale nicht ausgebacken, sowie es sein muss. Dann kaut man lange auf dem Speck mit einem seltsamen Mundgefühl herum. Der Speck gehört ausgelassen und sehr kross, oder man darf das Gericht nicht so nennen. Was überhaupt nicht geht, war die Aussage bei einer Unterhaltung mit dem Service: Die Hausgäste würden sich meistens für etwas besseres halten. Mal ungeachtet dessen, dass die Person nicht wusste ob wir ebenfalls Hausgäste sind, macht man grundsätzlich solche Aussagen NICHT! Hier sollte sowohl die Qualität der Speisen überdacht werden, als auch der Service im Umgang mit Gästen geschult werden.

Este lugar está en el agua, pero la vista está un poco obstruida - hay una terraza y luego algunas barreras de hormigón antes del agua. Supongo que fuera en verano es muy agradable. I had my first dinner at the Grissini restaurant in Cologne, and it definitely won't be the last. It was simply an unforgettable evening! We celebrated my father's birthday and the team made the evening even more special with a small, loving surprise at the end. The food was to die for - those authentic, honest flavors made me feel immediately at home. From the warm welcome to the attentive and professional service to the wonderful location, everything was just right. You can feel that the work here is done with love and passion. We felt completely comfortable and will definitely come back. Thank you for this great experience!

Ich hatte mein erstes Abendessen im Restaurant Grissini in Köln, und es wird definitiv nicht das letzte gewesen sein. Es war einfach ein unvergesslicher Abend! Wir haben den Geburtstag meines Vaters gefeiert, und das Team hat mit einer kleinen, liebevollen Überraschung am Ende den Abend noch besonderer gemacht. Das Essen war ein Traum – diese authentischen, ehrlichen Aromen haben mich sofort wie zu Hause fühlen lassen. Von der herzlichen Begrüßung über den aufmerksamen und professionellen Service bis hin zur wunderbaren Location hat einfach alles gestimmt. Man spürt, dass hier mit Liebe und Leidenschaft gearbeitet wird. Wir haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt und werden mit Sicherheit wiederkommen. Vielen Dank für dieses großartige Erlebnis!

The best coffee I've had in a long time. Unfortunately it was so foggy that you couldn't see the cathedral in its full glory, but Grissini couldn't help that.

Sehr schönes Restaurant direkt am Rheinufer auf der Nicht-Dom-Seite. Wir hatten die Pasta Matriciana, Fusilli mit roter Beete und Ziegenkäse und Spagetthi al Ragú und alle drei Gerichte haben hervorragend geschmeckt. Service aufmerksam, Englisch kein Problem. Natüelich spiegelt sich die Lage im Preis wieder, aber das ist auch der einzige "Minuspunkt". Wir kommen gerne wieder!

When little things bring joy. We actually just wanted to have a coffee after our walk along the Rhine, but then two pumpkin soups were added. But it was just beautiful, the view of our cathedral, the quality of the soups and the uniquely friendly waiter with a French accent made for a wonderful break. We'll be back.

We had lunch here to bridge the time until a river cruise ship left. Both the beef tartare and the spagetti frutti di mare were excellent. And at acceptable prices. The staff was friendly and accommodating. Plus the view of the Rhine and the cathedral..., stranger, what more could you want. If it weren't so far for us, we would come here regularly.

So einen tollen und zuvorkommend Service habe ich schon lange nicht mehr erlebt! Alle waren unglaublich freundlich, mitdenkend und immer dann sofort präsent, wenn es notwendig war. Das Ambiente und die Aussicht sind ein absoluter Traum und das Essen war sehr lecker. Unsere vierjährige Tochter bekam eine Papiertüte mit Beschäftigungsmaterial und Wachsmalstiften. Und uns wurden sofort zwei Kindergerichte genannt, die nicht auf der Karte standen. Das Team war organisiert, auf Zack und wirkte harmonisch. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder!

Haben unseren Jahrestag dort verbracht. Empfang war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Es wurde auch zum Jahrestag gratuliert, was ich sehr schön fand. Wurden zum Tisch begleitet mit direktem Blick auf den Dom und den Rhein. Sehr schöne Aussicht. Personal über den ganzen Abend einfach SUPER. Super Service, freundlich und immer auf der Hut. Die Auswahl an Essen ist überschaubar, aber sehr gut gewählt für eine italienische Küche. Vorspeisen waren wirklich zu 100% auf den Punkt. Hauptgerichte, waren lecker, leider nicht ganz unser Geschmacl bzw. hatten uns ein bisschen mehr davon erhofft. Geschmäcker sind zum Glück immer unterschiedlich. Nachspeise war wieder sehr gut umgesetzt und hat uns zu 100% entsprochen. Als Resümee: Super Personal mit Super Service, sehr coole Location mit Ausblick. Für uns ein sehr gelungener Abend. Vielen Dank für Euren Service !!

Die Vorspeise war super, jedoch waren die Spagetti Pesto und das Meeresfrüchte Risotto nicht so überzeugend.

Restaurant in a good location, right on the Rhine and a nice atmosphere. We went to the restaurant for dinner. The food was good, but not outstanding. The pasta tasted OK, but unfortunately it was only lukewarm. Friendly and generally attentive staff, with delayed drinks service due to the staff change. But overall recommended.

Visité a este restaurante hace unos días. Tengo que decir que la decoración es genial y el servicio era bueno, pero la comida era promedio. No había mucha variedad en el menú y era caro. Creo que deberías ofrecer más en el menú. No había mucho. Nada con pollo. Pedí pollo y verduras que era promedio, pero costó £ 30. Realmente no valió la pena. El Tirimisu estaba bien y yo diría que era aproximadamente 7 / 10. La sopa de calabaza estaba bien y la morena también.

Reservation is a plus! We had a nice table by the window! All staffs were nice, professional, prompt and friendly. Service was awesome. Food, drinks and dessert were excellent and on point! Waren zu unserem Hochzeitstag das erste Mal im Grissini und begeistert. Aufmerksamer extrem freundlicher Service, toller Domblick und köstliches Essen. Die Antipasti-Platte ist sehr zu empfehlen! Leider wurden bei einem Gericht ohne Ankündigung andere Nudeln serviert, als in der Karte angegeben, daher ein Punkt Abzug. Lecker war es aber trotzdem! Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder!

Was ok… service was pretty good, and nice restaurant. Imagine in the day time the views are great of the river. The food however was soooo disappointing. I really wouldn’t recommend going back. It was edible but just about as we were starving. My husband told the waiter the food was lacking and he said that his is the best they do and it’s great… it really wasn’t. Would not go back.

Pleasant evening as a start for a weekend at the Hyatt hotel. Nice atmosphere. Food tastefull made in open kitchen. Service with tips for food and extra's while ordering.

Kein Schnapp, aber sehr lecker und super freundlich

Vor dem Hotel Hyatt gelegen mit exklusiver Sicht auf die Altstadt, den Dom und die Hohenzollern-Brücke… Italienisch modern und lecker, kommen gerne zu allen möglichen Anlässen! Risotto Frutti di Mare war köstlich, aber auch die Ravioli Trüffel ein Genuss!

Sehr schöne Location, freundliche Bedienung, leider ist das Essen nicht gut gewesen. Viele viele Nudeln, Fleisch fast nicht vorhanden , ähnlich bei den Meeresfrüchten, dafür viel zu teuer. Wenn man Filetspitzen bestellt, sollten außer Pilzen auch welche drin sein.

Ambiente Gut, alle sehr freundlich, gute Aussicht, Vorspeise gut, der Rest leider nicht zu empfehlen, teuer und du suchst das Fleisch oder die Meeresfrüchte.

Beautiful location and beautifully decorated with lights. Located on the Rhine with a perfect view of the Dom. We ordered the chicken, beef filet, truffle pasta, and bruschetta. Skip the bruschetta but everything else was uncharacteristically tasty for a restaurant in Germany. A wonderful sear on both the steak and chicken with roasted vegetables. Service was friendly and prompt. Restaurant was cozy and intimate. Perfect for a romantic evening, especially after dark.

Food was super tasty and chic, charming ambience with a great location on the Rhine. We got a great place for two families with children and felt very well looked after.

Kommen nicht wieder, da Service unaufmerksam und unzufriedenstellend war. Das Mittagsangebot und Rückfragen zur Speisekarte konnten nur mit großem Aufwand geklärt werden. Letztendlich war auch das Vertrauen in die Küche verloren. Ebenso war der Gastraum nicht sauber. 

Ich habe kürzlich Grissini besucht und war begeistert von meinem Erlebnis! Die Atmosphäre war einladend und gemütlich. Der Service war aufmerksam und freundlich, ohne aufdringlich zu sein. Das Gericht war sehr gut, wir waren sehr beeindruckt.

Essen war wirklich sehr lecker und das Personal sehr freundlich und höflich. Das Ambiente-Licht war leider kaputt und hat geflackert.

We only had one snack each. However, the goat cheese and pumpkin soup were extremely tasty. The staff was friendly. One point deducted because it was thought that the outdoor area would no longer be necessary at the end of October and we had to sit inside in the hottest weather. The neighboring restaurant still had its terrace open. We chose breadsticks because they were more appealing.

I celebrated my 30th last night. Celebrated my birthday at Grissini - it was fantastic! The food was delicious and the staff was quick and friendly. The restaurant is nicely decorated and lit. We had a table with a view of Cologne Cathedral. I was in contact with Daniel M. in advance to make reservations and the menu for my guests. He was also extremely professional, responded quickly and stuck to our agreements. We would love to come back and definitely recommend the breadsticks!

Spaghetti frutti di mare was only 6 of 10. Lots of mussels some calamari but that was it.

We only drank a glass of lLimoncello Spritz. But it was a very pleasant atmosphere.

Alles war top! Wir hatten als Vorspeise die tomatensuppe, die sie und sogar extra in zwei Schüsseln serviert haben, da wir sie uns teilen wollten. Die Hauptspeise waren die Trüffel Ravioli sowie die Spaghetti Pesto. Alles hat extrem frisch geschmeckt und das portionsverhältniss war auch echt gut.

Noble restaurant with a beautiful view. Some of the dishes seemed to be seasonally adjusted and, like everything there, were of high quality and good. The service was very friendly and quick. The ambience and the view are simply perfect. The prices are slightly higher depending on the quality and the location, but reasonable.

It's not cheap but it's worth it just for the views, the great food and the great service from the waiters, a ten.

WOW, so etwas habe ich schon lange nicht mehr erlebt. Wir waren weit vor der reservierten Zeit im Restaurant, was aber überhaupt kein Problem war. Der freundliche und zuvorkommende Service war ausgezeichnet. Das Essen war so lecker! Wir hatten als Vorspeise Bruschetta in einer sehr leckeren Variante. Als Hauptgericht jeweils Pasta, einmal mit Gorgonzola und einmal original Carbonara. Beide Gerichte waren sehr, sehr lecker und die Portionen waren sättigend. Die Aussicht auf den Dom setzte allem noch die Krone auf. Zusammengefasst ein mehr als gelungener Abend. Hier wird Service und Qualität noch groß geschrieben und ein Besuch lohnt auf jedenfall.

Can I give this restaurant a 1000/10 ?? YES. That’s how amazing this place and the food was. Craving Italian food, stumbled upon this gem in Cologne. We called ahead and secured a reservation for ourselves. What we had: - Pulpo - Vitello Pane - Paccheri Filetspitzen - Spaghetti Truffel - Tiramisu For wine we chose the Sauvignon Blanc Mantele. When I say that this place exceeded all my expectations of Italian food, I ain’t joking. And I also tried Veal and Octopus for the first time. So let’s start with starters, Pulpo is a dish made with tender octopus and Vitello Pane is made with tender veal wrapped with bread. These two dishes were absolutely delicious. I don’t think I can describe it better than that. As for the mains, we had pasta and I am gonna say that this was the best pasta I had. The creamiest, with extra cheese, beef tips - it was absolute heaven. I sincerely ask everyone to have their Tiramisu. Just have it!! And do I even have to comment on the wine? I don’t think so. The service was by far the best service I’ve ever had. The waiter was so kind and meticulous, he gave a great food recommendation above to pair with our wine, was patient enough as we had come in late towards the kitchen closing time and also didn’t hurry me as I was taking my time in savouring the best meal of my life. The staff is very friendly, the place has the best vibe & atmosphere and the view of the river is the cherry on top. Please visit this place!! <3 <3

We had an absolutely fantastic experience at Grissini! Delicious food and amazing service! Don’t miss the Steak Tagliata and Tomato Soup. Also, the restaurant is beautiful and has gorgeous views of the Cathedral across the water. One of our best meals on our trip so far. Well done!

Wir haben heute Papas 90 Geburtstag im Grissini gefeiert. Die Aussicht auf den Dom bei dem heutigen schönen Wetter ist grandios. Mit Vor- und Hauptgerichten und mit Aperitif und Wein waren wir auch sehr zufrieden. Geschmacklich alles sehr gut. Und zum Schluss zum Espresso hat das Restaurant meinen Papa mit einem Mega schön dekorierten Tiramisu verwöhnt. Vielen Dank an das komplette Grissini Team. Ihr wart wirklich super aufmerksam. Danke für den tollen Nachmittag.

Das Essen war sehr gut, wenn natürlich etwas teurer. Leider für die Kinder Tomatensoße aus der Packung. Wurde angesprochen und es wurde uns Ersatz angeboten. Da wir aber weiter wollten, haben wir das dankend abgelehnt. So reagiert man perfekt auf eine Kritik. Die Dame hat es auch direkt an die Küche weitergegeben. Perfekt und ich bin überzeugt, dass es nächstes Mal frische Tomatensoße geben wird! Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Great Italian restaurant on the Rhine with a view of the cathedral. Went there as a group and had a 3-course menu “a la Mama”, where you could choose the dishes yourself from platters at the table. Starters were a blast, the pasta main courses were super tasty and the pana cotta / tiramisu bedside dish rounded everything off perfectly. And then super nice, fast service and great weather. Simply perfect...

Super rude service, waiter treated us like garbage and said he can't keep selling us just drinks?? What else are you gonna do in a restaurant?? Really overpriced and unserious establishment.

The view is beautiful. The service is super nice, despite the fact that they were short-staffed due to employee illness. The price-quality ratio of the food is not in balance. Wine not tasty, as if it had been left for too long. Pasta was not tasty and truffle not fresh, beef tagliata was too sinewy and almost impossible to chew. Not recommended, unless you enjoy a beautiful view and are willing to settle for lower quality food.

The bruschetta with fresh tomatoes, basil and a small amount of fresh mozzarella was very good for 15 euros, but when we didn't request drinks, the waiter suggested that we have still water and we agreed, but it was 9 euros which was MUCH more expensive than we expected. Servers were not friendly and didn't check back.

Pasta was perfectly al-dente. Staff catered to my language immediately, service was quick, and the view across the river is tremendous. I would come again.

Both times, despite the restaurant being incredibly busy and seemingly short-staffed in the kitchen, Rico has made the evening unforgettable. He’s been polite, professional, and truly passionate about his job, handling multiple tables with ease. His warm service is the reason we keep coming back. Ridiculously rude staff in the restaurant. After having waited over 15 minutes and some ignored waiving to order a first drink, someone finally came. I pointed out that over 15 minutes is a long wait before a waiter asks what to drink. The waiter replied somewhat stressed that it was busy and then literally: “that in this restaurant the client is not king”. He said it with a very poor body posture with a clear message, so after having overcome some perplexity I left…. This was a first and last time at Hyatt cologne

Beste Lage mit Domblick! Zum Sundowner ideal. Service leider recht langsam und speisen etwas überteuert für die Qualität. Sollte man aber für den Blick mal machen
