Wanted to take a picture, but I forgot because my chicken yummy burger was too tempting. We wanted a quick lunch so we stopped here, expecting some cheaply made American food. Instead, we had some of the most delicious burgers ever. Highly recommend

Had a burger and fries. If you are American and don't speak German, I highly recommend you just order from the menu the way it comes. We tried ordering our burger like you do in USA, customizing it and the guy literally turned the lights off and almost walked away in frustration. We took no offense and completed our order even though it was wrong. Burger was fantastic!!!! We had been eating purely Bavarian dishes for 7 straight days so it was like getting a 5 guys burger from home!

Deserves the stellar rating. Fresh bread, delicious meat, perfectly balanced filling and sauces. This is a gold standard of kebab that I hope to find everytime I travel to Germany.

The Grillstüberl is basically a doner kebab, burger, and currywurst place. But the seating is very nice, there's a draft beer, and the food looked very good. We met a nice owner. It's just a snack bar, but right next to a restaurant that's also very good. Some people like this, others like that. We just wanted a beer.

The food is okay. Good for the low price. Seating is limited due to the location in downtown Berchtesgaden. The staff is curt, but not unfriendly.

A small shop with a few outdoor seating areas. We had durum with falafel and doner kebab. They were the best we've ever eaten. Everything was very clean, too.

Unfortunately, we arrived at an inconvenient time and had to wait about half an hour for our food (rather unpleasant with children). However, it was very good, and we would come back anytime.

Had a lovely lunch today - the food was delicious and plentiful - my partner had a chicken burger which he said was very tasty. I had a falafel dish which was very tasty and I almost couldn't finish. The owner is a lovely man and even gave us a coffee at no charge. Would definitely recommend.

If you're in Berchtesgaden and craving some really good food, you have to go to the Grillstüberl! I had the Triple Cheeseburger there, and I'm not exaggerating when I say it was the best burger I've ever eaten. Three perfectly grilled, juicy patties, melted cheese in every layer, a fluffy bun, and fresh toppings – simply heavenly. The flavor was intense, balanced, and absolutely filling. But the fries also deserve special praise: super crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, seasoned just right – you can immediately tell that they cook with love. The portions are generous, the prices are fair, and the service is friendly and attentive. The ambiance is cozy, rustic, and fits perfectly with the surroundings. In conclusion: If you're in the area and love burgers, you shouldn't miss the Grillstüberl. I'll definitely be back!

Simply very, very tasty when you fancy fast food in the mountains.

Great! This isn't a tourist trap, but a proprietor who takes his business seriously and seems to care about his quality. The kids wanted to go, and I didn't regret it. Besides the good food, they also served a beer!

The food was super tasty, we had the veggi burger and the veggi chicken burger with fries. Significantly better than other large burger chains, at an absolutely fair price.

100% recommend! Great Currywurst! Menu is varied, including loads of vegetarian and vegan options. The guy working was genuine and very welcoming. Sat outside on a warm sunny day with a great view of the mountains. Perfect.

Unfortunately, the burger wasn't particularly tasty, but as we all know, that's a matter of taste. The consistency of the burger meat was very strange. When you read Grillstüberl, you imagine something other than a kebab snack bar that also serves burgers and the like. offers🤷‍♀️

5 stars more than deserved. Here you can get very tasty dishes made with love, at a fair price. The staff is also super nice and you immediately feel welcome. In short, I can only recommend it.

We were just looking for a snack and were very pleasantly surprised! We had sausage, fries and a chili cheese burger. The meat didn't seem frozen, which is great for a restaurant with this selection. The kebab didn't look extraordinary, but it also looked solid. Clear recommendation!

We were there on Friday and got a Watzmann burger with fries to take away. The owner is very nice and starts talking to people straight away. After a 15-minute walk back to our accommodation, the burgers were still warm and the fries were still nice and crispy. The burger was very big, unfortunately we couldn't manage it 🙈, and also very tasty 👌🏻. The price-performance ratio is great. We would love to come back on our next visit to Berchtesgaden!

Doner kebab is super delicious. My wife's hamburger was great. We knew the Stüberl from the market in Berchtesgaden. Everything is nice and clean here. It doesn't smell like food like you know from some other places. Keep it up and hopefully for a long time. Update from June 18th We were there again. We ordered the same dishes because they just tasted good. It just tastes great. Today a photo of the doner kebab. We wish you a house that is always well attended.

Just amazing food and friendly service from this little place in Berchtesgaden. I had a juicy, tasty cheeseburger and my wife had the doner box with salad which she loved.

I ate a kebab on site, unfortunately the kebab came to me cold. Meat cold and bread too. I also paid €8.40 instead of €7 because I was charged for tzatziki even though I didn't order any. The sauce is not homemade and tastes so-so.

The Grillstüberl in Berchtesgaden is absolutely recommended! We spontaneously came with the children and were thrilled. The hamburgers, currywurst and falafel box were fresh, delicious and prepared with a lot of love. Particularly noteworthy is the great ambience and the nice conversation with the boss, who ensures a personal and friendly atmosphere. A great selection of fast food of the best quality - we'll be happy to come back!

Incredibly delicious food. In my opinion, definitely one of the best kebabs. The burgers are also incredibly tasty. I'm always disappointed when I eat somewhere else.

Here you can eat a solid burger that tastes good. I had the chili cheese burger, but the yellow paste was too much for me. It was very cold and so I had the feeling I was eating a cold burger. The fries were okay, some could have been a little more cooked, others were very crispy and dark. Feeling whether older ones have been warmed up with new ones. But you can eat a decent burger, but there are others that are far better.

Had a Dürum and found it really tasty! With arugula, which I don't know otherwise, but it went well with the sauce and everything. The employee was very friendly - recommended for a quick meal in Berchtesgaden!

I've never eaten here before, but based on the menu and the delicious pictures I definitely would! Greetings go out to the boss Serhat aka Turkrider - definitely the coolest Turk in the whole Sirius sector (WTS)! One day I'll definitely come by and assimilate one of these burgers! Luckily we had dinner here in the evening, otherwise we would have missed these extremely good burgers. Tasty, balanced chili flavor, not too spicy, so you can also taste some of the rest of the burger. The Grillstüberl deserves its good rating.

It would definitely be advisable to consider that this establishment can only be praised highly and supported unreservedly. Everything tastes good here, from American round rolls with minced filling to oriental flatbread with rotisserie meat!

Great fries that are freshly prepared

The staff is great and absolutely humorous. We were on vacation in Berchtesgaden and have rarely eaten as good as we had there, deserved 5 stars, keep it up.

Wide variety of hearty homemade burgers, falafel or chicken wings. Also for vegetarians, friendly staff, possibility of having lunch on site or to take away. Attention closes at 7:45 p.m.

Expensive and not very tasty: We ordered a portion of fries and a dürum. Cash only Positive: - Location and view are ok, furniture is squat, you benefit from the old town location, but the restaurant next door seems much cozier. - the food comes quickly, even at peak times - Staff seems nice and organized Negatives: - there is only turkey meat for kebab dishes - 4.90 for the small portion of fries is ambitious even for a tourist town - only cash payment, not up to date - There were a lot of onions in the Dürum, the meat was good, but not much. Overall a slightly bitter taste - the fries were more average, some of them tasted like old fat. In the end you have to compare, you can get significantly more for the same money elsewhere, and in our opinion the price performance is not right here.

Best burger far and wide. Perfect for a stop. Falafel wrap also bomb. Everything made by yourself. Staff very friendly. The boss himself is still in the kitchen.

Delicious burger and the wide potato fries that I like so much. There were only 3 or 4 pieces in the take-away box from the last frying session. Good. Unfortunately only a little mayonnaise comes out of the bag (very liquid, 79% rapeseed oil). Tables also outside and 2 in the entrance area. Today the nice waitress brought the food to the table. Probably depending on the crowds.

Yes, the Watzmann burger is very tasty, no doubt about it. But why can you enter a tip when paying at the checkout counter (I did) if you then get a recipient who rings the bell when the food is ready for pickup? You then go back to the counter and are handed your burger. I call it self-service. Service at your place, that would be cool…
