Burger King in Berchtesgaden

I forgot my bag there, my money was stolen, and when I asked for video footage, they denied it. 😞 You don't even know if you can trust the employees anymore.

Free parking is available outside the store. The fries inside come in small bags, but they're packed full. The fries are delicious! I haven't tried anything else yet, but the fries are so good that I'm leaving a review first. The environment looks clean, but it's a bit of a shame that the floor is sticky. Overall, it's pretty good!

Burger King is awful! It stinks, the floor is sticky, as are all the doors. The drinks machine is filthy! Very unhygienic.

I visited Burger King Berchtesgaden about an hour ago with my children and family, and we had a very pleasant experience. The food was well-prepared, delicious, and served quickly. The shift manager and the cashier were both highly professional and friendly, which made our visit even more enjoyable. A big compliment to the team for the excellent service!

Disappointing every time, they can't even manage to create one thing, and they certainly don't offer the free coffee even though it's on the receipt. It's always disappointing to have to wait 15 minutes for one thing.

The quality was mediocre, as expected. The receipt stated that you would receive a free coffee or fries if you left a review on bk-feedback. The restaurant declined the offer after receiving the feedback.

One of the worst Burger Kings I've ever been to. The staff is incompetent and unfriendly. Paying by card at the drive-thru is impossible, like something out of the Stone Age.

I was very disappointed with my visit to this restaurant yesterday. An older woman, who appeared to be the manager, was very unfriendly – ​​both to customers and her colleagues. I witnessed completely unhygienic behavior in the kitchen: she was preparing burgers, and when sauce dripped next to the bun, she wiped it off with her finger and licked it. This is absolutely unacceptable in a restaurant that serves food. Unfortunately, I won't be returning. 😒😒

The restroom smells of ammonia; it's not cleaned. We had to wait about 20 minutes for our order; the Arab employees go out to smoke every 10 minutes. Paying for the order with cash took another 10 minutes. The trash cans were all overflowing.

The branch is okay, could be cleaner; but €8.49 for a burger like that is, by all accounts, hopelessly overpriced.

Nice atmosphere, but very poor handling of coupon redemption. Apparently not possible at the drive-thru and many of the items at the counters are not accepted.

I find it strange when you wait at the counter for 10 minutes and no one takes your order. Then you drive to the window and hear loud laughter and chatter in the background. Only when we honk does someone come and take our order (we're up to the window by then). And then it takes at least another 10 minutes for the food to arrive. At least there's an apology. And then: the difficult order of chili cheese nuggets and fries... and the fries are missing. Time: 10:13 PM on 4/10/25

Check your food at the drive-thru after you leave your door! They forgot something for me again, and when you get home and only realize it when you open the door, it's very frustrating!

After traipsing through Bavaria, this was the single best fast food burger and fries that I've ever eaten, much better than my corner McDs or Burger King. Burger King should be proud.

Service was okay, as someone kindly helped me with my order from the boards. The food was just about okay, but the cleanliness left a lot to be desired. There were three or four employees there, and all the tray racks (carts) were completely overflowing, even though there were only three customers.

Probably the only place to get decent food near the bahnhof. Unless you are willing to cross the road which takes 15min and go to REWE or lidl

To be honest, ordering on screen is getting on my nerves. Where's the communication in that? And it's not any faster, quite the opposite. And the problem here isn't the screen!

After a few years, I was back at Burger King, and I have to say I was very disappointed! Fast food doesn't taste particularly great, but I've always preferred Burger King to McDonald's. Today I had chicken nuggets, a burger, and a cheeseburger, but they were nothing! The taste was simply awful, and I wanted to redeem a coupon I got online as a PDF! The server told me I could only redeem the discount with the original coupon from the ad or through the Burger King app! That's typical GERMANY, keep your stupid discounts 🙄

Unreliable employees at the drive-thru counter... Ordered a Plant Whopper without onions. There were no onions in it, but it was full of jalapenos and cheese. It may have been funny for the drive-thru employee, but unfortunately, that's just not acceptable. There are people with food allergies!

Yesterday in Rosenheim, I ate super delicious churros. Today I wanted to take some back to Berchtesgaden for my girlfriend. These churros taste like the finest stale olive oil. I think I paid more for food poisoning than for churros. Quality control should take a look at this place.

Not my thing. Complicated menu selection at the terminal. Burgers and fries look much larger on the screen than they actually are. The atmosphere isn't great. The tables outside the store are dirty, and there's trash everywhere. The only thing that was great was the restroom. I don't need to go back, especially since it's not much more expensive compared to the prices at a restaurant with table service.

one of the worst burger king restaurants i ever visited. very dirty and the burgers do not contain the ingredients they should. it's bread and a patty with sauce. and it is not the first time i get served like this.

I wanted the King Jr. meal with Gaara, specifically selected him, and got a different figure. I went back to the counter, stayed friendly, and asked for the figure I chose. They didn't want to give me that one. Unfriendly, because they said they weren't available anymore. But I saw it, they just didn't feel like it. Thanks.

I ate there with my wife and two children while on vacation. The scenery was really beautiful. As we waited for our food, we couldn't believe our eyes: a rat about 34 cm long was running across the floor. A few hours later, I had the worst diarrhea of my life.

It was good. The waitress just said: no German, only English.

The employee on the intercom at the drive-thru was difficult to understand. The large fries were never large. How small could a small portion be otherwise...a matchbox? When I asked, they confirmed that this was supposed to be a large portion, but I felt like I was being ripped off.

So where do you eat in Berchtesgaden if there's no McDonald's? Of course, Burger King. The Burger King is relatively large and has a few outdoor seating areas. However, they're not ideally located, being right next to the train station. The food is standard. Strangely, there doesn't seem to be a King of the Month here anymore, so it's a bit expensive. For the price, you can almost get a burger menu in town in a much better location. The cleanliness leaves something to be desired. The restrooms are OK, though. All in all, it's worth coming here, but you have to be a big Burger King fan. There are better places in town, even in terms of value for money.

Wasn't really clean. Fries were cardboard. The other food looked like it was yesterday's, dry and tasteless. ☹️

It was my favorite BK. The staff perceive customers as beggars and treat them accordingly. I haven't visited a BK since my last visit.

The food was okay, more sloppy and greasy than crispy. I bought one burger and one pack of 7 chicken wings, and I still managed to forget the wings? Is the minimum requirement now limited to running?

The food was very tasty, although the cleanliness was not very good. I really liked this establishment and I recommend it to many who will visit this city.

I never thought I'd write a review for BK; I'm also a bit ashamed to come out here. BUT this branch deserves it. Not because of the taste or quality of the food—I think you know one, you know them all—but the service in this branch was exceptional. I wish our Franconian burger kings would take a leaf out of their book. Not only did they accommodate me when the ordering portal wanted to force my children to eat vegan food, but they also offered us compensation for the inconvenience of going to Tressen and ordering the good meat Paddy from there. Of course, it could also be that it was either my colleague's last day at work and he wanted to give it his all, or he started his first day over-motivated and didn't yet realize that msn could also fob off customers with annoyed looks. I would definitely stop there again if I'm in the area again and need a quick burger.

It's a shame they no longer accept Payback. The new selection and payment system is great if you're not pressed for time. It's great that there's a reusable system for cups, at least, but the rest is still mostly packaged in paper. Absolutely unnecessary for consumption in restaurants, and quickly gets soggy for takeout, so it's better to also put it in a plastic bag or pouch. A reusable system or bringing your own boxes would be much better here.

Compare to any Burger King, fast service and tasty food. On a minor note, the tables were extremely dirty with stains.

Avoid this place. The wait is looong. The bus with the children arrived and had priority. Our order was delivered almost 100 items later (see photos). We ordered one thing, and the selection was different. TRADEDIA.

It would be stupid to expect a lot from Burger King. However, this one is one of the better ones I've seen. The drinks self-service is fun to use (and you can get as much ice as you want), and I really appreciate that they have RECUP (reusable) cups.

As you probably know, I have been to countless Burger King throughout Europe and the US, because I worked for the Burger King group for 15 years. This one was on the higher end of the scale. A drunk German came up to me and stole my food, unfortunately. I was pretty drunk myself so I could barely run after the bandit. Lost my food, oops. But all in all a nice and cool place close to the Alps.

Overpriced mediocre burgers, but they helped to quench a quick hunger

We ordered two cheeseburgers and two crispy chicken burgers with extra bacon and cheese for takeout. Unfortunately, we received three cheeseburgers and only one crispy chicken burger with no extras. We only noticed the mistake at home and unfortunately couldn't do anything about it. We paid for the extras and didn't receive the correct order. We hope they didn't do it intentionally, as I've read many similar experiences through feedback.

This was a bad experience here. They simply made my order wrong. We ordered two cheeseburgers and two crispy chicken burgers. But I got three cheeseburgers and one chicken burger instead of two crispy chicken burgers. Unfortunately, we had to board the train and found out too late. We simply lost €5.

A nice Burger King with a great location. The food was good, and the drinks from the dispenser were also great. Great service; Sot served us and was really friendly! The rest of the team was also competent.

Good and fast service, reliable and fast

Had been hiking/traveling all day and just wanted a quick meal on our way to our hotel. Food was hot & fresh. Service was quick and friendly. Enjoyed dining on patio while looking at nature.

The branch at Berchtesgaden train station is spacious, very clean, and impresses with a pleasant ventilation and sound system, as well as a modern concrete look, which I think is excellently done. The space is particularly positive; there's also plenty of room for families with children. The furnishings are generally of a high standard. What I found striking was that at lunchtime, with only three guests present, four employees were on duty, some of whom were clearly without a specific task. This seems a bit overstaffed and could be planned more efficiently; a small note to management. The food tasted very good, but my patties were missing salt, a detail I immediately noticed; perhaps they can correct that next time. Otherwise, the burger was above average for a Berchtesgaden branch and was delicious. Despite a few minor flaws: Overall, a very successful branch, which I'm happy to give five stars, hoping that the salt will be just right next time.

Drive-in almost always free, parking right next door and friendly service.

They were very fast compared to other burger kings.

Terrible experience. None of the ordering systems were working — all self-service kiosks were shut down, and there was no one at the counter to take orders. Several staff members were just standing around in the kitchen doing nothing, ignoring customers. The whole place was completely disorganized and chaotic. Definitely not what you’d expect from a Burger King.

I've been there several times now, and the last three times I've always been missing something and received the wrong items. For a €95 bill and a 10-minute journey, they claim I've already paid everything! A terrible place, definitely the last time!

Was there the first and last time. Fries taste like everything else but fries. Burger was fine but she had her rules anyway. The worst thing was the dirt everywhere. Not a single table was wiped down, there was ketchup, salad, breadcrumbs, etc. everywhere... Three citizens were ordered to take away. 3 burgers were delivered on the tray, after I pointed out to her that I needed them in the bag and not on the tray, she literally threw the take-away bag on the counter and said do it yourself. Burgers were ordered without pickles and mustard. However, I got completely fixed normal burgers. So if the receipt already says (without mustard and pickles) and you still ignore it, the small and unfriendly lady should cancel! Very strong action with a local...

Having a warm tasty burger and cold sodas after a long day hike right at the bus station is unbeatable. There's even free toilet outside. Not sure if it's always available though.

When we (2 adults, 1 toddler) entered the Burger King I was a bit annoyed at first. Because you could only order food at the self-order terminal and I knew that the coupons didn't work there. When I asked the service employee how I should redeem the coupon, he was very committed and courteous. He ordered for us and explained the terminal to us. He had a lot to do, operating the drive-in as well as the indoor area. But he didn't let that show and his speed didn't suffer either. When I asked for a free coffee afterwards (since I filled out the feedback online with the receipt on the back), he went out of his way to ask his boss for advice because he didn't know how to redeem the written code. The indoor play area was very nice. The children can play as Burger King employees themselves. A really great activity and the most beautiful play area I've had the pleasure of experiencing in a fast food restaurant.

The employees are really nice and motivated... But the store is run disastrously. Waiting times of up to 50 minutes for 10 guests. Sometimes only 2 employees were present… unbelievable. Apart from the general mess...

There are few people on staff. The guys do what they can, but with 2-3 people it's hard to take care of the entire place. The food is like in Burger King, the bun is soft and good.

In the store, the employees are exhausted from boredom. (For example, you could tidy up or wipe with a damp cloth - that would be necessary) Then suddenly a guest (me) comes, orders something and receives it? Not what was ordered. So complained and waited. What comes next? Something incompletely prepared. No further complaint on my part, but - because I'm fed up - the only possible reaction: leave the store without a word and shaking my head. Never again! 👎🏻

One of the best burger king I've enjoyed, when you're finding something to eat around after hiking and visiting the amazing places of Berchtesgaden, you have this burgerking on the Hauptbahnhof and I'm am vegetarian so the option of plant based burgers were planty and I really had that test bud hit while eating that burger, Nice people, spacious place, digitally working, and clean.
